I finally decided on a custom piece that was made to my exact specifications. I love that I could “see” what it would look like with the stone and setting I selected. The mock up was great and my necklace is even more beautiful in person!

Verified reviewThe Natural Emerald company ended up missing the delivery date due to neglecting to overnight ship but Lauren jumped in to try to make it right. Once it was shipped her options were limited to try to have it show up on time. In the end, my wife was extremely happy with the necklace and all was worth it. The quality of the necklace will last much longer than the missed delivery date.

It was the birthstone of my, now, fiancé and she was absolutely enamored with the stones so I had seen a sapphire or two. Enough, actually, to know that I never quite felt like the cool blue gem matched the vibrance of her personality. Upon discovering that Sapphires came in different colors too, I decided that when I decided to propose I would do my best to find a sapphire color that embodied the spirit of the woman I love. The only issue was that I couldn’t find a sapphire stone colored with both the warmth AND the fierceness I felt from her. The first stones I found were pink or light shades of purple but none were quite the deeper and more captivating color I was searching for. After weeks of debating over light pinks, purples, and dull reds, it was on The Natural Sapphire Company website that I first stumbled upon a Ceylon padparadscha sapphire. The color jumped out to me from the moment I saw it—vibrant, fiery, and full of joy. I immediately funneled my search efforts and, within minutes of seeing the color for the first time, I decided upon a 3.5 carat oval gem. I’d like to say that my worries were over, but I had no idea what I was getting into short of theorizing that it would likely take a while and a considerable deal of effort to prepare a ring from the stone. It was minutes after the purchase and with amazing fortune that Lauren from The Natural Sapphire Company reached out to me in an email. Lauren easily met any of my concerns with a calm and reassuring air and made sure that I was updated at every stage of the process. I mentioned that I wanted to propose before the end of the year and while Lauren assured me that her team at The Natural Sapphire Company would do everything they could to speed through the process and get me the ring in about two weeks, she also gave me the distinct impression that there would be no details missed. Before I even had the chance to count the days, the ring was shipped to me and, after a not insignificant amount of anxiety, on the hand of my fiancé. If you want not only a perfect ring but also an experience that is perfect in every way, I would highly recommend working with The Natural Sapphire Company and, if you’re especially lucky, with Lauren! My thanks to Lauren and to her whole team for their efforts and for their help in the happiest choice of my life.
