  I attempted to file our taxes from abroad a number of times and it was too confusing and complicated. Taxes for Expats made it so easy! Their tax questionnaire was simple and straightforward. After seeing how long our return was, I'm glad we paid Taxes for Expats to do it!

  Great, fast service. The CPA I worked with was very knowledgeable about the applicable tax rules and regulations for my situation. He also explained the process and its implications to me in a much more complete way than my previous tax professional. The customer portal is also very clear and easy to use. Highly recommend!

  I have been filing my taxes with this company for the last few years as an expat and they are excellent. The website is easy to navigate, the accountants are professional and knowledgable, and the communication is clear and quick. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that they are on the more expensive end for expat filing services.

  I had a great experience with Taxes for Expats and I will be back when it comes time to file again. The service was seamless from start to finish, however there are a few aspects that I found particularly valuable: - Direct online contact with a dedicated and knowledgable tax expert who managed my file, and responded to queries promptly and with consideration. (i.e. they weren't just one-line responses). - Central document storage in the online portal so that my contact and I could reference documents in a single place. - Status updates on my file that I could access myself rather than having to send a chaser message. - Secure online portal for navigating all of the above. The only negative is that the service does not offer direct debit in order to actually pay the IRS; for this you're required to use a third party. Maybe in the future Taxes for Expats could offer this, but I understand the added complications this would present! Overall, I would certainly recommend!

  As a dual US/UK citizen living in England, Taxes for Expats has prepared my US taxes for at least the last five years and I couldn't be more pleased. Their advisors are professional, through, helpful, and always available. And their website is really easy to navigate. I had previously used a UK company which I found to be overpriced and not current with US tax requirements. Thankfully I found TFE. Each year my taxes get more complicated with estates, rental properties, etc. Taxes For Expats has successfully have navigated me through my US obligations and is a pleasure to work with doing it too.

  I was initially hesitant as I was feeling overwhelmed after relocating and navigating all the requirements for living in another country. After reading a lot of very encouraging reviews I decided to go ahead and engage TFE. I found the entire experience seamless and efficient. All communication between my tax consultant and myself was done with a very quick turnaround time. I felt my taxes were handled professionally and knowledgeably with a minimal amount of effort on my part. I'll happily continue to use Taxes for Expats.

  I was quite behind on my taxes and was even having trouble sleeping as I was so distraught about trying to file my US taxes while no longer living in the USA. The accountants at Taxes for Expats were fast and courteous answering all my questions. I have since filed all my past taxes and feel confident they were done correctly. There are so many hoops that Americans not living in America must jump though and TfE was a tremendous help getting though it. I will definitely be using their services for future tax filings.

  I've used Taxes for Expats for three years and found them to be professional and knowledgeable. Last year I also entered my data in TurboTax to see if the the calculation would be the same. Taxes for Expats' calculations provided a lower tax liability. This year I had several email exchanges with my preparer related to a missing Covid stimulus check. He was responsive and helpful.

  I have had an excellent experience with Taxes For Expats two years in a row now. This year, Joe, the tax professional who helped me, caught an important mistake I made inputting my data to the system. I also received a refund, which, when doing my taxes on TurboTax, I could not figure out. Basically, I have decided that as my expat tax situation becomes more complex with various sources of income, children, and investments, TaxesForExpats more than pays for itself. The peace of mind I get knowing my taxes have been filed properly is definitely worth it. Finally, I will add that I have used other expat tax services in the past. This has been my best experience by far so far, and I have ever intention of using their service again next year. I highly recommend their service.

  My experience has been very good with them. Their best assets are their tax and FBAR questionnaires--they're definitely better than TurboTax since they are tailored to ex-pat situations. Then, there are teams of tax consultants to answer questions that may not fit cleanly into the questionnaires. Had I tried to file on my own using TurboTax, I would definitely have made serious errors. Then they were much cheaper than other tax consultants we got estimates from--their questionnaires do a lot of the work for them.

  My experience with taxes for expats was that of professionalism, great communication, willingness to listen and help with my queries. The website was very user friendly and very informative if one did a little research. Everything was clear and the work was done fairly quickly. No issues downloading the forms I needed to keep, and clear instructions for filing or mailing.

  TAxes for Expats gives me peace of mind. I have found them to be knowledgeable, caring and efficient. They take the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. I would not trust any other company to prepare my taxes. I also find the online system not only efficient, but also very user friendly. I feel Taxes for Expats does a great job of making the process as straightforward as possible.

  I have been using the experienced accountants at Taxes for Expats for the past 5 years now and am very pleased with their service. I live overseas and thought I knew it all regarding filing my tax returns myself as I believed that I just needed to file a 1040 and a 2555 EZ form. I had done that for a good number of years until I decided to switch over to the professionals at TFX. After they had completed my taxes that year and filling out at least 50 forms which I certainly would have no idea on which forms to use, they obviously knew what they were dong and found many many deductions I had missed that could have worked to my advantage. These accountants know what they are doing as they prepare taxes every day and are more familiar with the ins and outs. I am very pleased with the folks out at TFX and the knowledge, experience and professionalism their team has and I will certainly be using them next year when I file my 2020 tax returns.

  TFX has really made the process of filing my US tax returns simple and stress free. I have been using this service for the last 4 years (since moving to Australia) and each year has been completed on time and without hassle. I have been very pleased with the accountants I have worked with - each willing to answer questions and helping to ensure I am as minimally impacted as possible. In addition, TFX processes and files my FBAR as well - so they really are able to manage all things expats are expected to do while living abroad. I will continue to use their services and highly recommend their services to any US citizen living overseas.

  I am a American citizen living in the UK since I was a child, so I had no idea what I needed to do regarding the US tax system. Taxes for Expats from start to finish were fantastic!   I have used Taxes for Expats for 2 years now and can highly recommend them. They are very knowledgeable, quick to respond to questions, and very timely in producing all documentation.   I live in Switzerland and doing my USA taxes is complicated. TFX was a great help at a even better price. The TFX website form that you fill in all your tax details is great. So simple and easy to complete. takes about 45min and i'm done. then they take all that info and create my taxes paperwork and off we go. I've used them since 2011 and don't have any plans to change. And i've recommended TFX to at least 5 others and they all have been very happy with their service too. When FBAR filing came into play they were all set right away to do that as well. The FBAR is so annoying, not complicated but makes live with the banks overseas so over the top. It's great that TFX is able to file these as well. Makes my life much easier and gives me more time to work on other things. Like the long list of spring projects that my wife seems to come up with every year, right around tax time. So I guess you could say that TFX is making my wife happy. And you know what they say, happy wife, happy life. Thanks TFX for helping with my taxes and marriage. :)

  TFX has made life so much easier. As an expat for the past twenty years, it took an enormous amount of effort and time to keep up with multiple currencies and moves on my part, as well as changes in the IRS documentation. Consulting with Ines and then turning over my tax preparation to TFS three years ago was worth every penny.

  TFX is an excellent taxation service provider. They have calculated all my taxes in a financial situation that I couldn't have known its resulting taxes even though with all the proper and clear documentation. TFX saved the situation and provided the right figure of taxes. All I had is to pay the right refund, so thanks to TFX.
