  This website has worked wonders for me! I have lighly put an announcement 3 years ago after leaving my last job, not thinking much about it… but then, after a fre months the 1st stundent appeared and then one more, and one more. 2 years later I am getting students regularly, I am rated the 1st tutor in my initial field and opened another field that is bringint im stundent too. All this time making thousands of dollars in some months I can’t day enough good things about superprof. It has given me the opportunity to teach, share and … gain confidence in my self and my skills, all this besides making a nice income The best thing about the website is that is not putting all that efort to get a cut from every hour delivered just like all the others out there. They have a simple process for charing and that’s it. As a teacher you can easily keep all the money you earn by paying a very modest “premium” fee. I hosnestly believe there are very few if any platforms out there that do as much as superprof does. Thatnk you very much for the opportunity to teach there. I am imensely gratefull for the business concept and the contribution you brought to the, ever growing, private tutoring industry. I 100% recommend to everyone to give it a try and will not regret it. Once again, thank you 🙏 so much Superprof!!

  I love meeting new students, but this site is so incredibly clunky and glitchy!! As a premium member, I expected better - but an email AND a text for every message is just too much!! It clogs up my phone and inbox, and makes it difficult to follow the chain of communication. There are numerous issues with time zones - that should be an easy fix!! Instead it's back and forth - with all the associated emails and texts! - to get a time scheduled. It's also difficult to correct lesson times - one of my students was forced to cancel a lesson because the system wouldn't allow her to correct it. The website is slow. Messages don't load. I refuse to use your videoconference tool - because I'm afraid it will be as glitchy as the rest of the site. Good old reliable Zoom for me. I'll be honest - sometimes the issues on this site drive me crazy. I will give you this - I generally can get fairly quick help on some of these issues - I was trying to archive messages up to 4 years old because I was told that all those old messages might be slowing down my profile/message loading. Every time I tried, the site froze. I ended up having to screenshot the entire list of messages and send to Stella - and she was able to archive them. This site needs some serious help.

  Superprof is a great service for connecting students to professionals who love to teach their knowledge and skills. The video chat needs some updating for those of us teaching video editing and music production. The ability to subscribe to Superprof and not have to pay them a portion of your earnings is the biggest plus.

  I enjoy using Superprof and it has brought me a good amount of students, however I do not like that I am required to offer a “free first lesson”. It confuses the students because I will only offer 15 minutes free since thats the minimum amount of time I’m allowed to offer, but most students only take one lesson and never reschedule a second in the industry I teach in (Knitting/crochet). This makes it very difficult for me to make my time worth the pay on this site because Im forced to offer free time, plus the fees that are taken out. This rule really needs to be changed. It is not a practical rule for tutors that have a lot of one time students.

  It would be good to have a "Calendar" view for tutors to mark their availability and to see when students have classes scheduled. As it is, students have to guess when I'm available and many times, I have to reschedule because they can't see that I am not available at that time. It then becomes a "back and forth" negotiation to get an agreeable time. With a calendar that we can annotate with our availability, we can block out times we are not available.

  Excellent matchmaking, bringing out the best in youths across the globe. With this wonderful opportunity, the third world and other countries facing employment problems has a unique opportunity of turning a negative trend into a more fruitful and positive situation. The overall achievement of the superprof cannot be over emphasized, because the knowledge gap has equally being reduced. Lots of historical patterns and trends can be shared between the tutor and the student if they decide to know each other properly. Hence, what the superprof platform has done so far, is huge. It is a win win situation for all and sundry.

  I had a very good experience with this Company. SuperPro. I reviewed the Tutors and chose Alejandro Naranjo. The Company process was easy and the communication was consistent. Alejandro was knowledgeable and very efficient. He made the lessons easy to understand and there wasn't any time wasted. I was very happy with the Excel project that I wanted to accomplish and may add layers to it in the future and will surely work with Alejandro again. If you in need of assistance with Excel, I highly recommend Alejandro Naranjo.

  The service is very simple, and easy to setup, but the site’s navigation can be a little tricky. The screening and matching could be better, too; I’ve turned down many potential clients for wanting services that are either outside my stated fields, or downright unethical. I still recommend Superprofs, as it’s incredibly easy to setup, streamlined, and largely hassle-free.

  I wasn’t aware of the subscription model until after I entered my information and was charged. I thought I was putting my card on file for the tutors. The monthly fee is also startling for a service that still takes a cut from tutors’ fees, and isn’t flexible for people who want to take lessons more sporadically like me. Still, it’s a pretty good way to find tutors.

  I have using this site for the last 4 years as a side gig for me and I like the fact that students are coming to me for my tutoring services based upon my profile, my reviews and my price. I am regularly getting new requests. J like the premium options that allows me to rank high in my category. This is so much better. Than having to bid and waste my time with other platforms.   Superprof is an awesome way to get tutors and students for lots of subject courses. My only gripe as a tutor is not being able to see the traffic come through, not being able to figure out why some people choose to use something else last minute or allowing me to throw a discount to attract more business. I also want to be able to refuse some inquiries and avoid bad reviews.

  Through Superprof I had found new students, even though my lack of history as a Spanish tutor. I paid for the PREMIUM service, which is worth it since they no longer charge a commission per class. I expect to get more new students in my class load. Thank you Superprof. I will recommend you register for the service.

  Superprof is great and customer service is quick to respond and very helpful! The interface is very user friendly and the dashboard is set up clearly. The alert system for new students or incoming messages is quick and keeps me on track. I took away a star because my students and I aren’t a fan of scheduling in military time. ** I wish I could take only a half star away instead of a full star. 😂

  Superprof as a platform may not seem 5 stars. The ux is not perfect, there are some bugs, and it doesn’t offer much to personalize. But, as a teacher, it does it’s job. And I love it. And it brought me amazing students, and provided me with quality work. And that’s what I needed.

  It was difficult to learn remotely. I had connection issues which was aggravating, not a fan of the 2d experience. I decided to find a local music teacher, What a completely different experience. It was so much easier to hear, see and touch. When learning music NOTHING compares to being in the same room with fellow musicians.

  Superprof is good but it's payment method is very strict. Not all tutors have the flexibility of Paypal. Other payment methods like paystack would be more flexible than PayPal. Since Ever I joined Superprof, I've never been able to access my funds. Some are hanging with superprof while some are hanging with Paypal

  Unlike other similar websites, I can pay an annual fee to earn a 100% of what I make. The customer support is great (they answered my emails quickly) and I feel I’m able to meet great clients through the website. As a client, I was also very happy with the tutors/teachers I met.

  Bad for students, bad for teachers. Parasitic platform buys ads on Google, forcing teachers to participate or lose business, and then puts many layers of unnecessary complication between student and teacher.

  Customer service is horrible. After paying the money, I was able to contact people for a few days and then it started giving a weird error. I contacted the email address provided a few times but there was no response. I had to give up and cancel subscription after a month. They are not providing the service they are promising.

  I would say Superprof as an overall experience is good. I like the idea of having a website where there are many tutors for students to chose from to help them with any subject. The customer service is of great help as well. Whenever I had a question, they emailed me back and could solve my technical issues. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because of the visibility of tutors. Tutors will only appear in their zip code so this limits the visibility of tutors and possibility to have more students.

  Well, I want to make this 5 stars but I just can't. Dont' get me wrong, I'm grateful for the part that has 5 stars. I'll explain in short terms: 1 Star - Keeping the formatting you did for reviews is horrible. It will keep the punctuation but they will run things together in a blob of text to make things less pleasant to read. So likely when i post this, it will be one solid blob of text. Reviews or comments on someone's profile won't show up for a very long time if at all. Review system is okay but if you do the review from a link of a comment an instructor gave you for your profile, it won't give you the option of the rating system. So the Instructor gets no rating. 3 Stars - Interface. It's average and does the job but it is a bit clunky and missing quite a few features that are industry standard and important to have. 5 Stars - The importance that is put on getting reputable and upstanding teachers and students. Can't stress how important that was for me. ------------------- 10 stars - The instructor I found through SuperProf. I can't tell you how amazing he is and has done one heck of a job in his teaching and style. He's just an amazing human being.
