  Far and away, the best students I've come into contact with has been through SuperProf. That said, there are many "first timers" feeling out the field who get Grade A service from me and never come back. I'm seriously reconsidering my "first lesson free" presence (initially touted by SuperProf). On the real: I know I've lost many students as a result of the $50/mo. payments to keep the app alive. and I pay 10%.

  I put the day and time in wrong but changed with instructor but it did not update in your system. When I called the instructor was not ready for me so I called back in 30 minutes. Then discussed my sudden deafness and needed to learn sign language and she was not prepared to provided me those basics but gave me resources where I could start on line. That was helpful.

  Gone are the days of free quality advertising for private service offerings like tutoring. That being said, SuperProf has some good features, like no upfront cost and non-monetary avenues to increase reach, without being forced to upgrade to premium subscription.

  I’ve gotten a few students through Superprof, and I’m grateful for them. Superprof is unlike other tutoring platforms I use in that they don’t provide a virtual classroom; all they’re providing is the match-making service. They’re also different from some (not all) of the platforms I use in that they want me to pay for improved visibility.

  We found a wonderful tutor on this site! But also got scammed by another tutor. She wanted Zelle payment, was running late, then canceled the lesson because she had to “rush to the hospital” and then joined anyway saying it wouldn’t let her cancel and then insisted I owed the money because she joined after canceling.

  I give them 5 stars. The tutor-teacher interaction via the platform have been great for me as a music tutor. however, I mistakenly used a PayPal payment method that have been restricted from receiving payments. Superprof paid and I didn't receive my payment it was then I discovered that my account have been restricted. I will be glad if the support team help me fix it and recover my payment as a tutor. Thanks

  For one, the login button doesn’t work so I have to go into my email every time I want to login. It takes a lot of work to find a credible tutor, and some are just plain unresponsive, even after superprof confirms the tutor has accepted a lesson request. Not worth the monthly fee. I cancelled mine within the first month.

  Superprof overall is ok. It has helped generate two active students since I've started using the platform and a few leads that never moved beyond the initial contact stage. It would be nice if my advertisement could be move visible without paying for a membership. Also, they force you to use PayPal as the merchant service to receive payments.

  Superprof brings an unmatched experience to both the students and the tutors, which I have been both, the way they built their website is genius, It's basically the Google of tutoring, you enter the website and there is a search bar, you write what you want to learn and a list of tutors for that subject appears in an order that brings the best tutors first (as it should be) void of any ads or sponsorships, and when you pick a tutor from that list, you open their profile and there will be every thing you need to know to decide whether this tutor is the right one for you, in a very simple and organized form. Also, and I think this is one of the greatest things about Superprof, they don't take any fees from the money the students pay to their tutors, it gets transferred 100% without any deductions ! unbelievable I know ! while their annual subscription is very affordable and negligible compared to the money that you can potentially make on their platform every single day.

  This website has worked wonders for me! I have lighly put an announcement 3 years ago after leaving my last job, not thinking much about it… but then, after a fre months the 1st stundent appeared and then one more, and one more. 2 years later I am getting students regularly, I am rated the 1st tutor in my initial field and opened another field that is bringint im stundent too. All this time making thousands of dollars in some months I can’t day enough good things about superprof. It has given me the opportunity to teach, share and … gain confidence in my self and my skills, all this besides making a nice income The best thing about the website is that is not putting all that efort to get a cut from every hour delivered just like all the others out there. They have a simple process for charing and that’s it. As a teacher you can easily keep all the money you earn by paying a very modest “premium” fee. I hosnestly believe there are very few if any platforms out there that do as much as superprof does. Thatnk you very much for the opportunity to teach there. I am imensely gratefull for the business concept and the contribution you brought to the, ever growing, private tutoring industry. I 100% recommend to everyone to give it a try and will not regret it. Once again, thank you 🙏 so much Superprof!!

  Superprof is a great service for connecting students to professionals who love to teach their knowledge and skills. The video chat needs some updating for those of us teaching video editing and music production. The ability to subscribe to Superprof and not have to pay them a portion of your earnings is the biggest plus.

  I love meeting new students, but this site is so incredibly clunky and glitchy!! As a premium member, I expected better - but an email AND a text for every message is just too much!! It clogs up my phone and inbox, and makes it difficult to follow the chain of communication. There are numerous issues with time zones - that should be an easy fix!! Instead it's back and forth - with all the associated emails and texts! - to get a time scheduled. It's also difficult to correct lesson times - one of my students was forced to cancel a lesson because the system wouldn't allow her to correct it. The website is slow. Messages don't load. I refuse to use your videoconference tool - because I'm afraid it will be as glitchy as the rest of the site. Good old reliable Zoom for me. I'll be honest - sometimes the issues on this site drive me crazy. I will give you this - I generally can get fairly quick help on some of these issues - I was trying to archive messages up to 4 years old because I was told that all those old messages might be slowing down my profile/message loading. Every time I tried, the site froze. I ended up having to screenshot the entire list of messages and send to Stella - and she was able to archive them. This site needs some serious help.
