I am generally satisfied. Everything works decently. My only complaint is that Delcame's rules do not allow the buyer to send the won items to a third party's address. Fortunately, I do not have a frequent need for that on this site, for now.

Most sellers are honest, prompt, and friendly, which I find satisfying. However, some sellers are dishonest and sometimes unsatisfactory. I'm very disappointed by sellers who claim they've already sold the item I purchased, or who claim it's contaminated and unsellable. I don't understand why the commission is higher than the selling price. I believe the commission should be a percentage of the selling price.

Overall a good experience, but I find the platform fees are too high for low value items. Most of the items I purchase are below €1 or €2 each (I am not a wealthy collector) but with the platform fees they often end up costing nearly 40% more (before shipping charges). It means I end up purchasing less overall. I think the platform fee should be a fixed amount (maybe €0.20) on items that sell for below €5, and then a % above that amount.

Delcampe is a fairly easy to use auction site, and I usually don't have any problem searching for the items I am interested in. I have had no trouble with the sellers and their communication, etc. One area I must comment on is postage costs, where Delcampe sellers are pretty reasonable. These means items I find which are not very expensive are worth getting because postage costs are fair. This is not the case with other auction sites where a similar item involves 10-15 Euros more in postage.

I'm generally satisfied with Delcampe,but do have one comment.I don't think that Buyers should have to make payment requests.At the time the postcard is bought it should be paid for.Sometimes Sellers take a few days or more to respond to the payment request, which delays the delivery of the postcard, often from another Country quite far away.Other than that I am satisfied.
