Delcampe it´s good site for many things, but the fee is really to high, not acceptable. Fee for buyers not acceptable.

It’s nice that there are plenty of philatelic items listed. However, some sellers flood the site with large numbers of very low-value, hard-to-sell items, which makes it difficult to find the items I actually want. There are also sellers who list large quantities of items at prices well above the going market rate, which is frustrating.

Buyer having to pay seller listing and other fees (you call these platform fees) is very bad. Why? Sellers do not reduce listing prices so everything costs the buyer much more resulting in much less getting sold. Your platform fees make it impossible to buy low value items. Your platform fees are a huge lose-lose......nobody wins, everybody loses.

Everything has always gone smoothly with the dozen or more buyers I typically buy collectable from on Delcampe. Contacts are always good and I know where I stand with postage costs etc. 4 rather than 5 stars as your paying system does not let me replenish it with PayPal, which would be cheaper than using bank transfers from my country.

Answer by John J.FlagThanks for your commnets. Most of the vendors I buy from do use PayPal, so that is not a problem for me. It is that Mangopay does not accept transfers from PayPal to tup up the balance, so anyone who only accepts Mangopay is not available to me unless I do an expensive bank transfer from Australia to put funds into my Mangopay balance.

The commission fees are significant, on mobile the focus when offer is displayed is on text price window which display each time keyboard. Sometimes when the offer page is loading longer due to pictures and i tap on the phone screen it send a bid... You should also think about fast money transfer to mangopay, i heard that BLICK system is going to run on Europe, in Poland we się it daily since some years. It's the system you will use also on Europe in few years, it's already started.
