Josh, I am sorry to hear about your experience. I do wish to go over some details regarding this here. To note, it is not possible to simply remove the key from another set. The keys are not universal to these lug nuts. As such, not all the keys are the same and for security, the same key will not fit another set of lug nuts. For this reason, we have to contact NRG for replacement keys. Rather than simply pulling another key out from another kit and it not working for you, we would prefer to do it the right way and get you a part that would fit. Alternatively, as mentioned, we could simply do an exchange for one that does include it's matching key. We understand the frustration you are feeling and do work to ensure that the issue is taken care of.
