  I have had items on back order for months. I have had t call to get credit for my one time return of an item. They have failed to include all items of my order multiple times. Their Email about an order and web site order tracking is fair at best.

  My only issue has been freight charges. Your Web states freight will be automatically charged if quote is not requested. Had one order sit for a week or more and was only action when I chased it up. Last order I put a note to just charge freight and send but again had to follow up after a period to get freight sorted. Was advised an email had been sent earlier butcouldn't see any reference to freight costs on it. Only had this problem last couple of orders, it not a major problem but would like some clarity around the process. Otherwise all good with everything - Thanks

  I traded a shotgun and $100 for a 1956 CJ5 in 2014. It was basically junk. It needed everything and Kaiserwillys.had it all. I have spent a lot of money with them over the last 11 years and I am extremely pleased with them. Their website is very helpful too.

  I needed a new dash panel for a '67 CJ5. All the used ones I could find did not have the studs to mount the instrument cluster. Kaiser Willys had one with the studs at a reasonable price with shipping at no extra charge.

  We offer several times over more NOS and US made parts than anyone. If you ever have a problem with an order - just reach out to us. We don't sell anything we don't install on our own jeeps. We also have free shipping on all orders even freight over $98 and will beat anyone's advertised price as long as its apples to apples. Thanks!

  I really love Kaiser Willy's I have used them over the last few years and I spend way too much but I just like them a lot and there return/replacement policy is out standing an example of this is when I got a new light switch and my generator and started blew at the same time I didn't know if that is what got the light switch or if it was faulty but I called and Mike tried to help me but he replaced it with no questions asked. The only thing I wish I could buy here is a new half cab/eyebrows/ block for a f head 134 engine

  Ordered a wiper blade that was supposedly original for 3b- .. it was Chinese junk... looked close to the same on outside but no retainer spring to hold to arm.. kept falling apart on install.. had to modify with channel lock pliers to hold it on the arm.. if KW is advertising authentic parts... don't buy cheap Chinese and try to make them look original..

  My issue is not with your products but with your order process. I use the computer to order many parts when restoring jeeps. I don't think l have encountered a company that charges you for a part that has been back ordered. My experience is I pay for the part when they are shipped. You have my money and I wait for your supplier to ship. Is this the type of customer service you intend to provide?

  I bought several thousand $ worth Willys CJ2A parts from Kaiser Willys over the last year. I am a retired restoration shop owner now only building for my own personal collection. Some of their products are fine, some not so much. Examples: The complete exhaust kit- The muffler and pipes fit fine. Some of the hangers did not. I watched their own video on the product and found their mechanic did exactly what I did, which was to go to the parts store and buy universal hangers to complete the install. Parts in the trash. I bought their windshield frame, glass and setting strips. NO way that glass with that setting strip fits in that frame no matter how much lube you use. I set the glass in my standard 3M adhesive setting tape and threw the now broken Kaiser Willys setting strips in the trash. I bought their new radiator and hose kit. The rad and lower hose fit fine. Upper hose did not. I realized the top radiator neck was straight instead of angled like original. I watched their video and noticed they used an auto-parts store upper rad hose to make the transition. So that's what I did. More parts in the trash. Then there was the "faithful reproduction" wiring harness. I laid it out and tried to use their very crude sketch to label the terminals. Nope! I quickly discovered they were NOT faithful to the original specs and had wire color/tracer combinations mixed up. The wire gauges were correct but color/tracer combos were not so did not match the CJ2A manual or other schematics. Their answer was "color/tracer combos were superseded" No. Wrong. 9 build errors in the wiring harness. Then the brake switch ends did not fit the switch (they provided) so had to cut those off and crimp in correct fittings. $420 for this harness- not $ well spent. But they did offer a refund. Already too many man-hours spent on that task so in it went. They recommended watching their wiring harness install video series. How much time can you spend filming a hand pointing at a ball of wires sitting on the hood of a jeep espousing the fine qualities of the product? I watched the whole 11 video series and found it a huge time suck. Still I was able to gather a couple of clues but come-on guys! It would have been so simple to just use the correct wires to match the original specs. They had the correct wire colors, just mixed them up in the wrong places. Hard thumbs down on the Kaiser Willy wiring harness. So that's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Good luck!

  I started planning on just rebuilding the engine on my friend’s 1954 CJ3-b. Then the brakes, brake lines, transmission pops out of 2nd, gas tank, fuel lines, emergency brake cable, emergency brake, speedometer cable… more to follow. When I started on this project, I shopped around. I’ve since sent back inferior parts and then purchased them here. I don’t shop around anymore. I was even happy to find something as simple as an oil filter that I can buy at O’Reilly auto parts was less expensive here. Don’t worry about shopping around. Just use Kaiserwillys.com.   Overall ive had a good experience with kaiser willys. I wish they tracked their inventory in a way that tells the customer that the item is out of stock when they click on the item. That way they dont pay for it and the get an email saying its out of stock and then have to email them back and tell them to cancel that part of the order and wait a couple days for the refund. Asked for a refund friday for one order, got the refund monday. Asked for a refund on another order on monday, currently waiting for that refund. Im not mad, just could have avoided all this back and forth if the item on the website said it was “currently unavailable” maybe have a button saying, “notify me via email when available”.
