I wish the website would inform consumer of out of stock items prior to them placing orders. I once had hundreds of dollars worth of items in back order- had to fight to get them months later. Was reprimanded for not inquiring more frequently about the items in question. I currently have an email chain for over 6 months now inquiring about a $50 out of stock item. If you can’t provide the items, simply don’t sell them.

Answer by Joshua MFlagI do not understand why you ask for an honest review and then essentially argue or dismiss the experience and or input provided by the customer. In example, you state you “always” send emails regarding out of stocks items. Currently, I would agree, but this has not always been the case for me. I have placed many orders with you, and this is really my only complaint. I wish I was informed up front (prior to placing an order) that an item is back ordered and may not be available for 6+ months. If such information was made available, one could then decide if they wanted to still place the order and babysit it until it shows up. I have been satisfied with the items I have received from you and I am happy you are in business to support my hobby. Your company did come through and provided the drop ship items I never received and had to inquire about around 1 year after ordering them (I believe Cj2a wiring harness and maybe a back seat). When I finally did call in to inquire about my items, I was put on the spot and questioned why I never called in. I hope this explains my trepidation regarding placing orders for items (not knowing if they are back ordered or not). How often do you recommend a customer “inquires” about the back ordered item for which they have already paid for? For instance, should I have never emailed regarding the coil I have been waiting on for 6 months? After my previous experience and more so the accusation presented from your company that it was my fault for not inquiring about items I have yet to receive, I do not like placing orders only to find out I may have to babysit a back ordered item. I do not bad mouth your company and I actively promote you to others. I would entertain amending my review…however, I want to see your company succeed and thought you would appreciate honest feedback.

It appears as though KW is trying to improve on their item quality and I do appreciate the nos/made in USA selection they have in their filters now. I have been a pretty steep critic in the past. They still have a way to go but I'm cautiously optimistic that they are moving in the right direction.

The reproduction WWII jeep shovel was described as the best, most accurate reproduction. When received it had a Large “INDIA” stamp on the blade which is placed in such a way that it will be prominently displayed unless I weld over it and grind it back down (too deep to grind out). The wood handle also came painted, when it was pictured unpainted (as needed), so I would have to stripped it. When I asked about returning it due to the inaccurate description, I was told I had to pay to ship it back! I paid a premium for this shovel based on its description and pictures, but did not receive anything near that, and they want me to pay more to send it back to them!

I'm not sure who you talked to here - but if you're not happy with it - we can email you a prepaid label to pick it up and refund you. You wont find a better one. Most people just etch it out and paint over, so you never see it. We are always happy to help. I see you have placed dozens of orders with us. Hopefully you'll reconsider your review.
