Verified reviewordered a front passenger fender for a 1960 cj5. the fender was in bad shape when I opened the box BUT since I signed for it thinking it was just for proof of delivery I am stuck with a $499.00 part that would cost $$$$ for me to return to Kaiser Willys. sorry to say so much for easy returns. BEWARE

Sorry for any confusion, our notes show that you just didn't need it. I don't see anything on notes about any damage when you called us. We don't require signatures on this item so that is weird. We don't charge restocking fees or anything like that. If its something you just didn't need, you would have to ship it back to us and we would refund you for it fully. If there is damage Im happy to help you out on. Sorry, shippers can be rough on items. If we need to get you a replacement we can. I'll call you shortly to help out.

I know I would have to do some cosmetic work on this fender it was wrapped in plastic wrap but just loose in the box no packing peanuts or foam to protect it. it does have scratches and some dents and it seems to be twisted so the gap on the hood to fender was not even front to rear large 1"gap in the center of fender and 1/4" on the ends at the tub and grille. basically it fit worse than my original fender

I tried calling and emailing you yesterday but never heard back from you. When you called us you didn't tell us anything about this on the return. Please like I said early give me a call toll free. sending the fender back to you would cost me $412.00 per UPS quote. If they could shorten the box up it would still be $200.00. I thought this fender would fit better than the original fender but it is not the case as I pointed out in my previous reply so yes I do not need this part

Verified reviewKaiser Willys is unmatched when it comes to parts needed for a Willy's restoration. They offer regular discounts and ship quickly. My only suggestion is to make sure your order is complete if you are looking to purchase enough parts to qualify for free shipping because once your order is submitted they will not amend your order to include an overlooked part even in the case where the order has not been shipped and you call them quickly to have it added. At least that was my experience.
