  I had the older version of the Shure MOTIV MV88 and when I called Willoughby's Cameras I got an AUDIO specialist who KNEW HIS STUFF and used the old and new mics himself. He gave me information that allowed me to buy the KIT on the spot and use it to it's fullest extent. Thank you Shure and thank you Willoughby's Cameras!

  Not only did I get this Microscope for myself, but it came with a free copy of Celestron The Functions of the Microscope Book, which looks like a great book for my 10 yr daughter to plunge into complex biology at an early age. She loves science picture books and gets his family to help her read materials and do the experiments. Thanks

  I've been to Willoughby's Cameras twice before, and can confirm all the positive reviews. The thing that strikes the most, other than the really well stocked shelves, is the friendliness of the staff. Both times I came in, the staff were more than willing to have a chat with me and let me play with some Samyang lenses I wanted to get a feel for. Great store, and more than recommended.

  There is an astounding amount of accessories for the BMPCC. I let the church use it for the Good Friday Eve services and all I got was rocks! Good sign moving forward. I haven't had a great chance to use it as I'm still putting together the rig!

  Amazing customer service! I would recommend Willoughby's Cameras to anyone. Good choice of cameras and equipment and great customer service with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Greg was especially helpful and while I didn't go in to buy a camera next time I need one I definitely will go to Willoughby's Cameras. Online you don't find the expertise, knowledge and experience these guys have and it! Thanks again.

  Poor Delivery Service Willoughby's Cameras would be far better if they didn't use USPS to deliver their goods. Why they cant send via FedEx to the South and outside NY is beyond me. USPS are zone based and charge a premium rate and a terrible service in remote areas. I wouldn't have minded but in the banner adverts they say they offer free delivery on orders over $50, but fail to tell you that they will discriminate against you for living in Delaware. I paid $32.99 for delivery of camera body it took over a week to arrive at the same time parcels from other suppliers were arriving next day via USPS.

  Absolutely excellent service. An unheard provider of cameras and equipment to me before I purchased my new camera through them and not will be using them again! Great range of products and really really competitive prices and the customer service I received when my bank out the payment on hold to ensure I’d still get the camera I wanted and so so quick!   I am new to photography, I bought a Canon 7 D mark II at Willoughby's Cameras to shoot my son playing tennis. With this camera/lens combo and the 10fps speed, i've been taking stunning photos. I also utilize both photo and video and have had zero problems. I also have Canon 70-200 and 100-400 lenses that I use that have worked very well with the 7D. I specifically bought this for sports and I highly recommend the shop.

  I bought the BMPCC4k and I thought it was going to take a month at least to get to me due to the limited item quantity but I actually got it within a week of ordering which is super cool. They had agile communication throughout so I will give them 10/10. Thanks, Willoughby's Cameras!

  I knew all of specs about the ball head that I wanted to buy before I came to Willoughby's Cameras, but the sales assistant was still very helpful. After my purchase they let me use a table to transfer all of my gear from my existing bag into the new one and I left a happy customer carrying my new bag. One further point - the air conditioning was amazing especially when it was 31C outside 😀

  The most helpful staff. Went in to buy a shotgun microphones as a novice film maker/vlogger/podcaster. I spent 20 minutes, took out 3 (fresh out of the box) brand new, they provided maximum autonomy to test and re-experiment, using my MacBook and Canon Vixia HF G40. It's well worth the few DOLLARS above the lowest online price - though they are very competitive - to receive this quality of service. I preferred the Rode, and I shall be back to buy.

  It was really awesome that WCE offered expedited shipping because I got the 5D mark III last minute to go on a short vacation and it worked so well I now use it to take close up photos of flowers, and my grandbaby. I did my research and chose this site over K&M, Canon, or other electronic stores because of the included bells & whistles such as the camera case and the memory card. Very good upping my shoots from the flagship EOS 650 I've owned for 10 years and would definitely recommend!

  I was fortunate enough to go into the shop just after Christmas. I was interested in the HERO9, which they had on display. They opened a new box for me and let me try it out for over an hour in my own room, after demonstrating the features to me. Top class service and can't wait for it to open again!

  Very disarrayed organization, and the guy promised me my film would be developed within a week. Three weeks later and I am still waiting. I would have developed it myself but I needed it in a rush so thought a professional might be a better option. Obviously I was wrong. Not a reliable film processing source at all.

  I'm not a professional photographer but have enjoyed photography for many years. Having always bought all my 35mm film SLR cameras and a couple of DSLR, I overlooked buying from any online companies as I knew Greg would come steer me to select the best camera. This new R6 is worth the wait. The fact that I can continue using my native lenses with an adapter is a big plus. The pictures I have taken with this camera are remarkable.   Had no idea Midtown Manhattan had such a gem of a store for the Olympus brand! They've got a great range, it's a great place to check out Olympus point & snap and mirrorless cameras. The customer service is superb, very helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I wanted to try an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III which they didn't have in stock and they were happy to recommend another shop I could find them at! I ended up buying my OM-D E-M1 Mark III from elsewhere but if Willoughby's Camera had the camera I would definitely buy from them!

  WCE promo prompted me to pull the trigger on the sony a9. The camera is all I expected and the order processing and delivery were fast. Definitely recommend this to wildlife photographers.   Nice, helpful guys. Wasn’t happy with the Alpha a7S III I ordered, 4k resolution wasn’t a premium for me. After some advice from Greg, sent it back for a BM Pocket 6k.   I was a customer of willoughby's website before popping in the store. The choice, the quality and the prices are spectacular. The sales reps are competent and advice is not biased on a pricier brand or selfish interest. It is one of the few stores where you can really try out the equipment before purchasing. Regular free workshops are offered and allow the use of high-end equipment. A store for true enthusiasts.

  Excellent range of high quality camera gear, lenses, teleconverters, t-mount and related accessories. What sets this place apart from other photography stores is the exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, who assist you in making an informed decision with such a wide range of choices. I’ve spent hours testing product in the store and asking questions about them, including past the 6.00pm closing time, and never felt unwelcome. Their prices are generally as good as you will find for the given products, but even if they’re higher, they’re worth the pleasant purchase experience and the comfort in knowing that you can rely on homely after-sale service of a standard that is very rare in New York. We need more of this type of honest, unpretentious boutique business.

  Store bright and breezy, with lots of choices regarding cameras. However, I anticipated that there would be more choices in GoPro and DJI products... and more diversity.   The Starlight Xpress Trius color CCD imaging camera was my go to for milky way and astrophotography. I decided to take advantage of the Xpress Trius and exceptional 2750x2200 Image Resolution so upgraded. I am very happy with this camera. You won't be disappointed in this telescope imaging camera, all around fabulous precision camera.

  I purchased a Canon IVY CLIQ 2 Hybrid Digital Camera / ZINK Printer via the website. It was described as being in excellent condition. That was an understatement, it is almost perfect. It arrived extremely quickly and the contact from the shop even during the current pandemic was outstanding. I have yet to put a zink paper through it and so will complete this review at a later date. I look forward one day to visiting the shop in person.

  Previous to purchasing this Cyanotype kit, our professor recommended it. I'm a photography student at Northern Michigan University, so I ordered a couple bottles for myself. This seemed less expensive for the quantity and Photographers Formulary has a good reputation for alternative chemistry, so I decided to try it out. So far, it seems the blue isn't as rich as the Photographers' Formulary and doesn't coat as well. I'll keep trying and see if this is really the case.

  Blah!! Blah!! I came from using the 6D to the Mark IV but the colors and dynamic range are off on this camera. It's horrific in daylight and low/light scenarios and I have used it in comparison side by side to my 90D with the same lens and settings. Lost my money following his advice on this upgrade.

  When I entered Willoughby's Cameras it was to purchase a backpack and I immediately saw the DJI Mavic Mini and was intrigued. So that day I purchased a Mavic Air mini and Im so glad I did. Today I got home and opened the packaging. Everything was so simple to use and can I say Im just freaking astonished and so excited for my purchase. I was able to assemble the drone super easy and start a session indoors. I so would recommend this store to any beginner. Great product and fast shipping. Never any problems from WCE!!

  Nice and helpful staff, really like their customer support. This is a good store with a variety of options to choose and compare.   Willoughby's is a Mecca for a photographer, they carry a multi-brand collection of on-camera flashes. I searched their site for a nifty flash nevertheless and the SF 40 stood out. I bought it and fortunately it has features that are better than expected and ease in using I bought the flash for a Leica M-P (240) Safari rangefinder camera. What a relief! Thank you, Leica for offering this and thank you, Willoughby's Cameras, for stocking it!

  I just upgraded from a Nikon D7200 to the D850. I'm blown away with how much better this camera is. The pictures are crisp, and have so much more depth than before. Its easy to use, and I love the tilting touch-screen rear screen. I bought a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5 to use with this camera, and I could not be more happy with everything. The camera is a beast and more heavy than D7200, but its very sturdy. Its truly a prosumer camera. As always, Willoughby's Cameras had the best price, and were very quick to get my camera shipped.

I bought a ProGrade 128GB CFexpress card online which subsequently developed a fault, the return procedure was straightforward, the card was swapped by the manufacturer and returned from Willoughby's within ten days.   I'm Blown Away by Store's service! Greg, Ray and his team accomplish photographic alchemy! I hesitated for a long time to buy this Sigma TC-1401 1.4x Teleconverter, but with Willoughby's lenient return policy, I gave it a try. I'm using it with Canon EF to work and Canon 5D Mark IV plus a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens. Well, it exceeds my expectations! AF is just as fast and sharpness is terrific. I highly recommend this company for teleconverter solutions.

  Bought a Pictor 20-55mm here in 2018. Been back over the years for this and that. Ryan, and his staff, have always been super friendly and always offer solid advice with no pressure.   I have four Canon camera bodies and dozens of lenses, used and new from Willoughby's Cameras. I've tried big box stores in the past, but I was disappointed in the customer service.   Examine goods from this company at delivery. The IndiPRO Tools PD-95 I ordered is a great battery, Lasts pretty long. I've noticed that it doesn't quite sit well in the V-Lock like my other off-brand batteries do (i.e. Atomos and Smith-Victor)

  The friendly staff helped me solve a problem with my Mamiya RZ67camera. Their advice was much appreciated. They were very friendly and took the time to examine the problem. There was no pressure selling and the staff didn't use pressure tactics. I'm delighted these specialist shops still exist in Heartland New York; it makes a trip to the City worthwhile. I'll be back!
