  The only store with affordable Smart LED TVs in New York. I ordered a JVC MAR400 22", special order and got the set in five days over the holiday. Very good guys too deal with. Would highly recommend them.

  I bought a camera here to take longer astrophotography exposures as I am very involved in amateur astronomy. This Nikon D810A from Willoughby's is the astronomical hybrid version of the D810 and comes with dedicated filtration to produce more pronounced reds often quintessential of stellar nebulae. I paired with a Rokinon 14mm as part of my telescope rig to glimpse deeper into the Milky Way for wide-angle imaging. It's a good companion to my D810.

  Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Not to mention if you go ahead to compare the prices they are tens of bucks cheaper on every single camera. I highly highly recommend stopping here for your next upgrade. If they don't have it in stock, all you have to do is ask them to order it and they will with no deposit because they will sell it if you don't get it or not because their prices are so low. Nothing more I can say. Quality camera dealer.

  I am an architectural photographer and have relied on the GFX system for 7 years in the field, ordered Fujifilm 30mm F/3.5 R WR. The lens is solidly engineered and quite light -- it feels very similar to the GF45mm f/2.8. Add the incredible clarity and contrast, and the pictures look alive. AF is super fast and accurate. I did not encounter any lens flare or chromatic aberration. The lens is also so lighter, making it easy duck soup to carry around. All in all, another fantastic lens from Fuji, and super fast service from Willoughby's Cameras. Now let's get busy shooting.

  I've bought stuff in person and online from them, a Nikon Z 50 and one of their 50-250mm lens when I couldn't get their in person. Very helpful over the phone and the guys up front are always great. Can't recommend them enough.

  This place is impeccable! The store is great and you feel very welcome by the staff. I'm new to Astronomy so to have such a knowledgeable, helpful group available is truly awesome. Most other places you have to go find someone to help you...not here! Greg was great and guided me through my first ever purchase. I will be using these guys for all of my needs...large and small purchases. I love the personal service that i received. Thanks guys!

  I am a big fan of B W products. This B W UV Haze MRC Filter first time it was installed it became stuck. Construction is good and a cheaper brand would probably have been much worse. WCE customer service has been good regarding this issue but I do wish they would purchase these filters from the US distributor, Schneider Optics rather than from a foreign dealer.

  I reached out to WCE to see if they would extend a sale price on a Nikon D6 since I was not able to pull the trigger on it this weekend. They agreed to honor the sale price and said to purchase the item and they would credit me the difference. So purchased the D6 today and within minutes I received an e-mail that the credit had been applied. Fantastic customer service and highly recommend them.

  I was looking for a particular DSLR of Pentax (K-1 Mark II) and I found this store while browsing the internet and it was the only place they had it in stock and I never heard of this store before... What did I miss all these years... I did business online as I live in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Amazing service, fast shipping, quick answers to my question. As a Pentax aficionado, I think they have a great inventory with pretty good prices. From now on, this will be the first place I'll look for my camera needs. Talk to you soon Greg!!   Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 zoom ring is weird. To tweak settings, zoom ring must be twisted counter clockwise. Mitakon Zhongyi version was clockwise turn to zoom. Focusing ring has frictional resistance which is hard to turn especially the lens is substantially heavy. Mitakon Zhongyi version has very slick focusing ring. I like the manual focusing override function but focusing ring was a disappointment. I like the build

  Best NYC photography store I've been to they'll help you with whatever you need, personally all my cameras and lenses comes from them good prices and they actually know what there talking about(unlike any chain store I've been to) I mostly deal with Rachel there she's great. Used large-format cameras from here are great my buddy bought a used Linhof Master Technika Classic and I spent 3 hours cleaning the dust out of the optical Multifocus(75-360mm) Finder and everywhere you don't immediately see never had this issue from accuracy ever everyone complaining they couldn't return a camera for full money back the second you walk out that door it's a used vintage try that anywhere else you'll get the same answer.

  I used my new EOS M200 to live stream full HD for church services. The M200 can now do 4K video at 23.98 fps, but only with a 1.6 times crop. Combined with the 1.6 times APS-C crop, that means the 15-45mm kit lens effectively becomes a 38-115mm lens in 4K mode. There is no 30 fps or other frame rate in 4k unfortunately, only 23.98 fps in 4k.

  Beautiful Sennheiser kit from Willoughby's, It was a breeze to set up and sync, and the sound quality is great for run and gun interviews. Very cool, the work is very clear and professional, it works from a very long distance, surprising and deserves the price. This one sounds crystal clear and comes with all the necessary adapters to start using it right away. Definitely recommend!

  I drove all the way from North Dakota to buy a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless lens. I purchased a Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 35-100mm F/2.8 II. It's sharp, compact, and well-built. I got plenty of sharpness for 4K video. In the grand scheme of things, it is an excellent lens for the price. The image stabilization is very impressive when used with the GH5.The low light performance is incredible. This newer model improves on the flagship in terms of the stabilization and increase of AF speed. The new one is sharper and faster in focusing than it's older brothers.

  The only Willoughby's shop I would buy from! The lads in hobby are absolutely sound and very helpful! I would recommend this shop in a heartbeat.   Willoughby's Camera is the go-to for tripod heads such as Ball Heads, Pan & Tilt Heads, and Gimbal Heads. Purchased a Gitzo GHFG1, looks very impressive and very large. Gitzo is heavy, but well-worth the weight to carry. I bought it for video shooting and it works very well for this purpose with my birding telephoto lenses.The $500 price is also a steal purchase as compared to other brands of gimbal heads like the one from OBEN for example.

  I just received this D850 as an upgrade to the a Nikon D7200. Im blown away with how much improvements this camera unleashes. The pictures are sharp, and have so much more richness than before. Its easy to use, and D850 can use DX lenses and the 70-200 f/2.8 works perfectly well. Package bundles camera body, a battery, a strap, a charger, PC cords and the manuals. The camera is larger and more heavy than before, but its very sturdy. Its truly a pro-level camera. As always, Willoughby's Camera had the best price, and were very quick to get my camera shipped.

  Willoughby's Camera has a wide selection of photography goods and cinematography gear. The shop is wheelchair accessible, easy to access, and locate in the city's epicenter. The owner/manager is very knowledgeable, informative, and approachable. They have a lot of Nikon DSLRs: binoculars, astro-imaging cameras, and accessories. He has a wide selection of full-frame cameras. There is a decent selection of aerial drones equipment and underwater camera housings. There are microphones and TV's as well.

  An Alcove of Photography and the only store with tons of camera microphones. This Rode VideoMicro would be the coolest genius for a mic. Decent wind screen,sound quality, solid shockmount, and competitive price. But my dslr cameras mic input cannot send 3 volts of power to power this mic. My cameras would not provide that much energy to the mic so it would not function. So I returned it. Willoughby's Cameras is very efficient in resolving returns inwards. The cameras obstacle arises when you try to mount it into the smart shoe of your camera. The mount is deeper than most, which makes mounting accessories that are not proprietary very difficult if not insuperable.

  Throughout my life I have been dealing with Willoughby's for photography gear, the authenticity of the place and its genuine staff has never been matched by any other camera shop I have been too. Always willing to give a good deal too, great advice on what would suit you rather than trying to flog you the most expensive stuff. Hope this place stays for more generations to come.

  For many many years I have been getting my bits and bobs for studio lighting here and will continue to do so as long as it is here. Always the cheapest around for any lenses or gear aswell as Greg and Rachel been helpful with ordering or sourcing anything they do not have Customer service here is excellent and they always look after returning customers with deals or discounts Excellent range of gear from smallest beginner equipment to biggest advanced pro equipment aswell as all the accessories you need Best photography shop in Ny if not Northern America in my opinion

  Have bought my Olympus OM-D E-M1X I'm shooting primarily video. The image stabilization is superior. All of my video was shot in hand-held. Magnificence. I have used other brands (Fujifilm and Canon) but the Olympus's image stabilization is so much better. The shape and weight of the lenses is also significantly different. The pro lenses are extremely crisp. The my menu customization is a great feature. Ergonomics are excellent. The weight and size of the camera makes shooting for long periods of time enjoyable. Battery life is outstanding. Willoughby's did an excellent job delivering this Pro Body.

  Absolutely love this place. Gent in the store was extremely helpful with picking out a Canon Lens Hood EW-83M for EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM to do any outdoor photography. Had plenty of knowledge to share despite the absurd amount of questions I threw at him. For a shop on the main Street, the prices are really good and I found the items I needed to be equivalent or even cheaper than online and some smaller shops I've been to. If you want lenses accessories or photo gear, this is the place to go!

  Came fast, packaged securely, and mint. I have been loving this camera! I am a professional videographer and the BMPCC 6k suits all my needs. The BMPCC is a decent cinema camera for a reasonable price. The 6k BRAW I wring out of this camera is incredible. Overall-the quality at this price point is unparalleled. Good job Willoughby's Cams!

  Bought my Samson Go Mic Mobile but it's comes in an excellent design but it cuts out intermittently especially Lav although handheld works quite well. I'll have to invoke Sennheiser and Rode wireless for my combo transceiver.

  The Bolt macro flash unit is impressive in High Speed Sync offering 1/8000 sync compatibility. Bolt TTL Macro Ring Flash with Transceiver Set for Canon is compatible for use with Canon cameras, which would include the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera. Only gripe is it's precisely made for Nikon, I had a Fujifilm and it doesn't work.

  There's a vast selection of high quality recording, Live and sound microphones here for a very wide range of specialist activities. The branded items are fairly priced and if you visit you'll know what you want and why it's worth the price tag for the quality products you're expecting. The shop is tucked away and not really evident from the Empire State Building itself which is unfortunate since it's a real treasure trove.

  The Ultimate Tool! Purchased a Fujifilm X-Pro3 and it is the perfect camera for street photography this season. The titanium exterior provides a nice solid exterior feel with a high-level durability. Well laid out and intuitive. The lack of the back screen will take some getting used to, but not a significant consideration for me. I have only had the camera a week so still exploring its features. I'd recommend it for street/candid photography- this camera does deliver a one-of-a-kind experience nostalgic of using retro film SLRs. Happy shopping ppl!!

  From start to finish, my experience with Willoughby's Camera has been smooth, professional and enjoyable.
