  The online experience made it easy for me to purchase a new DJI drone. The drone was well packaged, in beautiful conditions and came with a 1 year warranty. Everything worked as it should and the drone is great! I was able to activate and fly with no issues. This is not my first drone but it's simply the best drone that I own. Am Very happy with my purchase and I always enjoy doing business with Willoughby's camera.

  Zero warranty with Nikon, save your money!! When the camera arrived I called Nikon direct to verify serial number and warranty. Nikon did not even have the serial number recorded and would not honor any warranty or Nikon service.

  Terrible people The guy answering the phone was extremely rude as well when I told him I wanted to cancel the order. I confirmed with him that I wanted to cancel the order, the website shows that the item was cancelled and I did not get the camera, but they charged the credit card anyway and did not send the refund. I have to dispute the internet purchase through my beloved synchrony credit card...it may take more than a month

  Tried to order a camera, was not noted on the product page that it was a European model. I was then charged $235 to cancel my order. I would have never purchased it if I knew it was not an authentic US model. It shouldn't cost anything if my order was not completed. Will not shop here again. I definitely don't recommend.

  Fraudulent Misrepresentation!!! I was sent a used camera with no original packaging, user manuals, etc. A quick check of the settings shows they still sent me an international version. So ultimately, I paid several hundred more for a used version of what I originally ordered in New condition. Do a quick search on Willoughby's scam tactics and you will see dozens of stories that match mine. I have attached a few of the shorter ones out there but a quick search yourself will give you more than enough reason to stay away from this company.

  Willoughby's cameras is a scam!! They LIED.. status on their wired purchase status site said "shipping". Nothing was ever shipped. When I called a several days later, they said Nikon "made a mistake" and wanted to sell me another lens. The salesman became rude and aggressive. I am still trying to recover my money.

  Classic Bait & Switch I ordered the EF 70-200 mm 2.8 III. I placed the order for this item based on the price listed on the online site which was $1429,00. It said that you would be saving $670 dollars as if it was a deal. Someone from the establishment called me the very next day to tell me that it was the international version that I had actually order and it would be $1999 for the lens. I should have sifted the Google reviews with a more detailed eye, bait& switch, grey market & swindle tactics are commonplace here

  Total bait and switch operation. I bought an expensive telephoto lens at a significant discount, which should have been the first red flag, but the order went through fine initially. I get an email and phone call the next day saying they need more "info" to process the order, so I call their number back and am casually told that I purchased an "import" model despite not seeing that on the product page. All Laowa are manufactured abroad so I didn't care and said to proceed, but was told that this model has a "plastic mount" that won't work with US-designated cameras. I've worked as a photographer for a decade and told him I've never heard of that and told him that the Nikon F mount is universal, but he didn't even listen, just tried to upsell me to the "US model" that of course had an additional filter kit I didn't need. There's no point in arguing with a scam so I had him cancel my order, which to my surprise he did without hesitation. They must work on volume but it's almost laughable that they expect photographers to literally buy into such petty lies. Don't be duped by what seems like a good deal, there are many more reputable camera shops, especially in NYC.

  I ordered a Sony a6600 camera and a lens online. Both those items were listed as available in stock. I paid extra for priority USPS delivery. The next day, I received a phone call from the store representative John. He informed me that the camera that I had ordered was, in fact, an import version that has the menu in Spanish only. Moreover, the camera was available only in their overseas warehouse, which is why it would take 6-8 weeks to deliver. I'm extremely disappointed with their online misrepresentation and service. I will never shop there again.

  The staff is the unfriendliest I’ve ever experienced. Not helpful at all. I just wanted to have a look at old rf canon glass. They didn’t let me have a look at the old 2nd hand lenses unless i would buy a random camera first. Pointed me out to some other lenses which were all broken and dirty.

  Very unfriendly staff and extremely overpriced products. One of the staff members, a man with white hair and glasses, became very rude when I mentioned that I was still exploring my options. When I expressed that I wanted to gather more information first, he got angry, rudely took the camera off the counter, and said "bye, next." They also discriminate against people who don't look wealthy. Do not go to this store unless you want to be scammed.

  Willoughby's has got to be the most appalling company I have ever had to deal with. I placed an order for a camera and a few days later, I received an email stating that I had accidentally ordered the wrong version, which supposedly lacked essential features. They said I needed to pay $300 to get the domestic version. I canceled my order and went straight to B&H, where I received the exact camera for a fair price. Avoid Willoughby's at all costs.

  Was interested in purchasing a Sony A7Riv. After speaking with jimmy in retail, he convinced me to purchase the A7Riii based upon my experience level, and price point of the camera. I ordered the A7Riii through their online portal for $2,039. After waiting a week for the camera, (order was 2nd day air), I contacted Jimmy regarding the status. He stated that, "the unit didn't ship because it was on back order". He explained, (for the first time), that I had originally ordered the International/PAL variant, NOT the U.S version. I asked him if there were any differences between the two, and he stated that there were. According to Willoughbys, the US model is built with more durable parts, including a metal lens mount ring, and other key components, (Not accurate). At this point, Jimmy mentioned that the USA/NTSC variant was in stock, and cost $2,799. He told me he could nock $200 off the higher price, but that would also INCLUDE Sony's 3 year warranty, (No warranty documentation in box). I placed the order having spent an additional $600 for what I believed to be the USA/NTSC variant with Sony's 3yr warranty. Two days later, the camera arrived bits it's a piece of garbage.

  Like others described, you order something online and then they call you and say what you ordered was the Chinese model and the display is only in Mandarin, but then say you can buy one in English for a grand more. These guys are as shady as hell. I submitted a complain to Google about their misleading ads. I encourage everyone else to do the same and get them off of here.

  The lens came with no warranty and aftermarket parts on it (GREY MARKET). I told them that I was going to start a dispute on the charge so he said arrogantly do what you have to do so I did I started a dispute with PayPal and just so happens the next day I get a return approval. I would definitely not recommend this place to anybody. I find it very hard to believe that they have been open since the 1800s I highly doubt they are the original owners very shady operation

  They are either dishonest with their customers or their website is inaccurate. Either way, STAY AWAY!!! Bought a X100V Camera as it was advertised and listed on their website, without any coupon. Next day I got a call from them, stating what I have bought was "European" model and asking another $300 to get a "Domestic".   Terrible customer service Ordered a Sony A9, Sigma art lens and a bunch of things in November 2024. 1st shipment was damaged, so I returned it. 2nd shipment was also damaged, so I refused delivery. Still haven't gotten refund. $5K+ charge has been sitting on my credit card for months now. I've called multiple times and they always say, it will be refunded in a couple of days. Never happens. Very unprofessional operation. UPDATE: 3 days after submitting this review, they did refund me $474.99 after charging me $4,393.96 back in December. I would not order from them unless you are willing to go through multiple calls over months and still not get money back. I've spent close to 10 hours of my time on this now, with all the paperwork required to refuse and return the damaged equipment and waiting on hold, etc. UPDATE #2. I finally got in touch with a supervisor and they say they found the camera and will refund my money today. If I get the money back, I will remove the review.

  Please read this before making a purchase with them. I would like to share my experience with Willoughby's photos I was scrolling online looking for a Sony ZVE10 vlogging camera and I saw one on sale so I decided to buy it after two days I got an email saying that the item that I bought was published in the wrong price and there was a human error and they gave me two choices either. I pay an extra $150 or cancel the order, I called them to talk about it and from what I see it is a sales tactic to make people pay more money! As a company they should take responsibility for the mistakes and make sure that the client is satisfied, I was trying to find solutions with them but the only thing they offered is to get the item for an extra $150 or cancel the order. I highly recommend you not to buy and work with them. I will definitely not buy there again! what I recommend you to do is to take the item that you see that has a good price on it and go to Best Buy and ask Best Buy to do a price match for you this way you will definitely get the item and you will not provide this Merchandise that is not taking responsibility

A Captcha for the FIRST visit to the site is fine, but almost every time I was adding something to the CART? Or SEARCHING for another product?   I purchased a brand new pair of binoculars as a gift for my daughter. It was delivered to her in USED condition. Not just that, but it was FILTHY. Finger prints all over the device, unwrapped from the plastic, and literal DIRT on the box. I've never been so embarrassed. It was clearly advertised and sold as brand new, and it was sold at full price

  Dishonest Return Policy I bought a $2500 Nikon mirrorless camera from Willoughby's new in the box. They said they were an authorized Nikon reseller. They said unconditional money back guarantee within 30 days on the site. Nikon also advertises an unconditional money back guarantee, and I assumed an authorized reseller would match them. I used it for a day and realized the operating system version was not going to be compatible with my lense. I tried to return and was pointed to the fine print on the site that says the return is unconditional UNLESS you have opened the seal on the box! That's like offering an unconditional return on a car, unless you drive it off the lot. And Nikon will not take the product back if they didn't sell it to you. The internet is full of complaints about exactly this-- And it's interesting that they have great reviews on all the sites they link to on their web site, but lousy reviews on Yelp. Why pay the same price to buy from Willoughby as from Nikon, and take the chance?

  Never EVER buy from here, ESPECIALLY online In my entire life, I have never seen a website that makes shopping so complicated for customers. After the problems they had charging me, and now their stupidly long verification process, they made me feel like I was buying a watch or a car instead of my "little" purchase, they delayed me a month in getting my product with all the mistakes and ridiculous twists their billing and verification department had to offer me. The feedback I’m trying to give them is that I expect the companies I work with to make it easy and seamless to do business with, after a certain point, customers will just move into other retailers to save the hassle of trying to buy something.
