  I was recommended Greg Mitchell by a friend but because it's a New York lifelong company and I live in Manhattan I didn't think it would work. How wrong I was. The service was wonderful and Greg sourced the equipment and had it delivered the next day. His engineer Mike who lives in Manhattan was above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you all at Willoughby's Cameras and I would have no hesitation in recommending this family run business to anyone.

  Don't ever pop in for advice if your camera breaks! $250 to send it to manufacturer for repair and that's before the work. That is all they ever offer, or to buy a new one obviously.

  I bought the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 65mm lens on-line. The website was easy to navigate, excellent range of products and easy to use.   I always check out Willoughby's Website as there is always a bargain to be had, on this occasion i bagged a Metabones Lens Adapter at a huge discount for my Fuji GFX100 which i also bought from Willoughby's' at a substantial discount, not many true camera stores left in Manhattan, this one is outstanding and deserves our support.

  Phenomenal Purchase! I just recently begun my exploration of photography and have really fixated on nature photography. This Sigma 200-500mm f/2.8 EX DG APO lens is exquisite. The ability to reach out and grab subjects from a distance has taken my pictures to an entirely new level!   Was happy when I received my Samsung 65''. you 1st turn on the tv, and want to load any app, it is very hard to tell which app you have highlighted to click. 2ndly, - fast forward, rewind, pause, play btns are all at the bottom. It's very difficult to hold the remote at the very bottom, and press those keys. i have tried to buy another remote, but anything that will sync w samsung, those keys are at the bottom.

  Very nice store and a beautiful place full of the best we can find in cameras, both DSLRs, point & shoot, some full-frame and mirrorless. A good selection of camera bags and camcorder accessories, mainly. Other spotting scopes available, riflescopes, binoculars etc. Friendly staff. You can try several lenses and walk around and see undisturbed. So you can concentrate in your next buy. The problem is what to choose.

  Prompt delivery of an out of stock item It was made clear on the website that the item was currently out of stock, and that it would be shipped as soon as stock came in. It was no more than a few days later that I was notified it was on its way and the next day I had it. Very pleased with this service, and very pleased too with the Magnus TR-13 Travel Tripod, what an excellent design!

  Bought a $5k Hasselblad X1D II 50c camera here last year only to have it repaired due to a speck of dust that was inside the electronic viewfinder. The huge trouble I had to get them to fix it was really the last bullet. No apologies, no offers to make me a return customer. Left feeling like I had robbed them off something. For anyone looking at visiting to pick something specific, call first. Their stock on hand and choices are usually pretty limited. It's unfortunate that this is the biggest name camera store in this part of New York. Now the store is part of Amazon store. Service hasn't changed, prices still not competitive, with the exception of their "Black Friday offers". Go anywhere else.

After I paid on the nail, I received an email that I will soon receive the product, it took 17 days until I received the product, it is not long, the whole issue is that you are waiting to receive the product the next day, but it actually takes some time. I received the a7iii camera, everything seems to be fine. Before buying, make sure you have the luxury of time.

  Premium cameras, lenses and lighting equipment, in a store also stocking some secondhand items. Never buy camera equipment from anywhere else other than WILLOUGHBY'S and having a store in Manhattan ensures that I can drop off equipment or pop in for advice where required. I have been lucky to attend several their Pentax event in April and come away with the odd bargain as a result and highly recommend their trade in and second hand gear.

  I sought advice by email and as a beginner user was impressed by the support and advice I received regarding the type of lenses to use with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II.   As a photographer who mainly loves nature and wildlife photography, ordered this Pentax K-3 III for birding crop on a telephoto lens yields superb results. I liked them all but autofocus speed and tracking has always been lagging compared to brands such as Nikon. I was surprised to actually get my Silver Premium Kit, ordering something like 2 hours after it was available. I understand Willoughby's Camera has a Pentax boutique that gets new items in stock promptly.

  First class customer service I chose Willoughby's Cameras based on their splendid prices compared with mainstream NY retailers. My initial apprehension about a (nearly) $7k online purchase was shaky based on some negative reviews. Willoughby's customer service is first class - the goods arrived within the two week timescale anticipated when I ordered and any queries I had during that period were answered fully and honestly. I will definitely use Willoughby;s again.

  Excellent customer service! Have used Willoughby's for many years. Recently sold a DC-S5 and was able to arrange a transmission of the remainder of the 3 year warranty to the new owner. Rachel Goodwin arranged this by return - amazing service. I don't think retailers will guarantee to do this, so it is on request (providing you have all the proof needed) but compared with most US warranties of 90 days that are strictly not severable - it is brilliant!

  Great company to deal with, Nikon Z 6 Filmmaking camera developed a fault, sent it to Nikon USA for repair, got an estimate from them sent it to Willoughby's and within an hour they had sent me the money, no hesitation in using them again. Mike

  I usually buy all my cameras at B&H but went to Willoughby's to get a hard-to-find new arrival-Canon EOS-1D X Mark III. Silvio(I believe) was knowledgeable and helpful, might make Willoughby's my new favorite camera shop.

  Amazing Camera & Support Camera was back ordered for a while but I was kept updated on progress. Canon EOS RP is an excellent camera. Image detail is amazing! Have been customer of Willoughby's since the early 1990's and have appreciated the knowledgeable support teams and sales agents. Visiting the retail store in Manhattan is amazing. No need to go anywhere else for professional audio/video/still photography!

  BENRO Vmate Micro 3-Axis Gimbal Camera - WORTH IT I was afraid about price but paying through Paypal it's good choice. I've got my gimbal camera in just 5 days which is great! Evrything is great but you should develop contact with customers and something like track shipping etc. But still I'm very happy :)

  Was once a great shop, sadly no longer offers any real range of cameras or lenses. Forget high-end Hasselblads , only base models , some top range Nikon and canon but overpriced compared to online.

  Nikon COOLPIX B500 camera price/delivery Nikon Coolpix B500, very good price. Ordered Thursday evening delivered FedEx Monday morning which is within their next day delivery promise. Parcel well packaged. Would have given 5 star if Willoughby's had sent me pre-alert on dispatch. FedEx sent email Sunday advising delivery on Monday with their tracking number.

  I ordered a Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 II lens on the evening of the 8th of April which I received on the 10th, I must admit to being skeptical about the free next day delivery claims especially at the price charged ($300 below list price) and the fact it was the run up to Sebring International Raceway when even Amazon were having delayed delivery issues. The following morning I received an email with tracking information and it was delivered by UPS as per schedule the following day. I can't fault the service and will use Willoughby's again for future camera purchases. By the way the lens is fantastic too !!

  Needless anxiety Ordered a Lensbaby Velvet 85mm f/1.8 lens on 21st April 2021. The website looked fine and the price considerably cheaper than anywhere else. I know it is said that if a price is too good to be true, it probably is. I went ahead. After ordering, I looked at reviews for willoughby's camera and was apprehensive. Had I read the reviews beforehand I would never have placed my order. I emailed Willoughby's Camera and asked for an estimated delivery date. The email reply was almost immediate - "next day". "Next day" came and went. Because of the reviews, and no tracking facility I was very anxious. Emailed and asked for a confirmed delivery date. Again an immediate reply - "Next Tuesday" (4th MAY 2021). The lens arrived as promised. Twelve days from order to delivery. Securely packaged and everything there that should be there - sturdy factory case and everything. The lens is perfect in condition and operation. I registered it with Manufacturer's site through my Lensbaby Account - no problem. Happy. Apart from fears induced by reading trenchant reviews, the lack of any tracking facility adding to that anxiety, and the lens not arriving when first promised, I have no complaints. You must judge for yourself.

  Brilliant service. Ordered late Sunday night and camera delivered first thing Tuesday morning. Shopped around before using this supplier but couldn't find anyone offering better combination of price and service. I'll certainly use this company again. Highly recommended.

  Low price Platinum service Low price on good ARRI ALEXA Mini seemed almost too good to be true, but also outstanding service, quality product Manfrotto 526-1 Fluid Head , price beat everyone else. Easiest recommendation. They are as good as they appear.

  Excellent service!! Bought a Nikon Z 7II with a NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens. Great price, actually cheaper than anywhere. Delivery was fast and arrived perfectly packaged. I would definitely recommend Willoughby's Camera and most certainly will buy from them again.
