  I purchased a Zenfone pro 7 from WILLOUGHBY'S PHOTO EMPORIUM last year and was very happy about the price (couldn't buy it in Tuscaloosa, Alabama otherwise). After ~4 month the flip camera got stuck due to hardware issues. As soon as I contact Willoughby's Cameras about this, they sent over shipping labels for me to send the device back for free repair, communicated the timeline and expectation clearly, and sent the phone back to me fully repaired before their promised timeline. I am very impressed by their quality of service especially I've never heard about this company before, and I will continue to support this business in the future.

  Was a little nervous about buying a Pro Video PTZ Camera (Panasonic AW-UE150W 4K) online from some place 500 miles away that I've never seen. But they were AWESOME from the start, very friendly and help full on the phone. I ordered the camera Monday afternoon and had it by Wednesday afternoon. They had everybody else beat by a ton on the price,, the PTZ unit was in perfect condition without a scratch. Will buy new NDI encoders from them!!!!

  I ordered a Sigma 60-600 4.5-6.3 DG 105 sports for my Nikon FX camera and received it well packed and I am very satisfied with it. It would be a 5 star assessment but due to the complex method to get to an order and the fact that there was a little delay in delivery for a product that should be in stock but was not. Overall, good job

  Swarovski binos Paid, order processed and despatched or so they said. 8 working days later after chasing them it arrives a couple of days after. I wonder how long it would have if I had not chased it up. Price was good, they must be very busy I guess

  The staff is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a positive experience. They want their customer to be comfortable and happy. That's probably why over half of their customers are return customers! I definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about purchasing a cine camera.

  I'm a New York based sports photographer working with a media company. I searched the net over, looking for the lowest price on a used Mamiya RB67 Pro-S I was interested in, was very pleasantly surprised Willoughby's Cameras had it. When I got there I was blown away by the inventory, amazing! Count me in as a return customer !!!

  I bought my wife a Fuji X-E4 there where the special price online had ended but it was still online and they honored that price. More recently I had a few Fuji film cameras that I no longer enjoyed and wanted to convert into finding for a new upgrade. The process was easy and what I got was fair. You have to remember that they have to make money too.

  You have to wait here for a long time for his money! Meanwhile, my camera was already offered for sale, which I find outrageous! They are not reachable via e-mail and the correct phone number can hardly be found anywhere! Twice I had to call until I finally had my money. Two stars are only for the fair price!

  Best photo shop in central NY bought me the Sony Alpha a7R IIIA there and would advise super there are enough customer service there and the store is always well visited. The staff really has a plan of what they tell you and they can help you a lot. Absolute recommendation

  Photo nerds, motivated people and the feeling of being one of the last specialist shops here make me keep coming back. The guys advise (apparently) without any commercial interest. This is what defines their credibility and, ultimately, their long-term success.

  Willoughby's on 47th street drive isn't my go to I prefer the one at the edges of Manhattan. Some of the employees weren't very friendly and acted aggravated about helping customers. The older gentlemen that work the lenses section are great.

  Knowledgeable and professional staff. They are willing to spend the time to answer questions. Great place for first time camera buyers. You can even rent a similar lense you are considering buying and they will give you credit if you actually decide to purchase. Great inventory on other photography/film goods. Set aside some time because you can get lost in this store.

  Let's start off with I believe this location is the biggest in the area. They really have a wide variety of digital cameras to purchase. As for my experience everyone was very helpful. The prices were all very competitive on just about everything I looked at. I will be going back in the future. -0.1 for not having the Voigtlander 21/25mm Viewfinder though, it was kinda warm inside for only being 11am.

  Such a great atmosphere for all things RED. I had the opportunity to meet with some of the digital cine cameras' team and talk through the Red Scarlet Dragon 6K which was released in 2013 (as a successor to the Scarlet M-X 5K) as part of the original DSMC lineup. I’ve been a RED user for many years and the customer service has always been great and Willoughby's Cameras was exactly the same.   Inobtrusive Filter! This Circular Polarizing filter works great with my Panasonic HMC-150 camera and really brings out the colors in the sky during bright conditions, when without the lens things are harsher and virtually unusable in professional work.

  SIMPLY PUT...SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!! This TV has been wonderful. The picture, sound, smart settings and applications have all been extremely worth it. It made a huge difference when watching movies and playing video games. We will always go with LG from now on!

  They supplied broken gobo heads again, stripped slider mounting threads and sandbags underweight or filled with rocks, making then unusable. I emailed and notified the manager Greg Mitchell about the issues. My emails were not responded to and no refunds were issued.

  Top notch service. Perfect restoration of my grandfather's 35mm Kodak Compur-Rapid which is 100 years old and had become almost obsolete. Work done included insulating the bellows, modifying the shutter release, re-positioning the mechanism, deep cleaning the optics and repairing the bellows retraction system so it locks properly.

  Love my new Canon m50 camera! My brother who's a wedding photographer is a Willoughby's photo fan and helped me pick out my camera. I didn't want a big camera and wanted a nice starter camera. It's an awesome size camera, not to big and not too small,. Everyone who has looked at it thought it was such a perfect size! I have so many photos to take! What a fun camera!

  TERRIFIC I love the Sony Alpha a7R IVA. I have a Sony a6000 I have used for many years and decided to upgrade to the a6000. This is a big jump in Sony's mirrorless technology. I am still learning the new camera but it is great so far. I have used the rich suite of features a few times and it is a big plus. Willoughby's Cameras was quick in getting my order out to me.   Perfect camera for my son! He's a beginner photographer so I wanted to make sure I got him a camera that would give him some high end quality but not be very costly. I talked to a number of employees and at last agreed on the A6000 with two lens the best mixture of my requirements and budget. Various other places couldn't help mainly due to lack of knowledge/experience. Not here though, posed the question and got an answer straight away. Nice one. Thanks

  The lens I received looked almost new, just as described. I was kept informed throughout the order process from dispatch to delivery. Shopping and checkout on the website was easy, and I could use PayPal, good for me. I chose this site because they offered next day delivery, which is what I needed. Unfortunately it turned into two-day delivery, but ultimately I’m happy with the product and the seller.

I was under so much pressure have damaged my camera and needed a new one for work urgently, I spoke to their customer services team via chat, who gave me the best advice on a replacement camera and then they arranged for it to be delivered today, so happy thank you to the Webchat team for sorting it out within a couple of a days.

  Love my camera & Willoughby's Cams This is the camera that I have been waiting for!! I own a previous version, but I have always wanted more of a zoom lens. I love it and can't wait to use it on my trip next week. I also love Willoughby's Cameras. There service is the best!!

  Great Camera Bundle! I consulted a friend who is an experienced photographer about getting a good camera for vacations, etc. He recommended this D750 package from Willoughby's Cameras, with a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.4G ED VR lens. In no time I was taking great photos and some movies. Although I am still learning I am impressed with the photos and movie quality so far. I would recommend this package and setup to someone who wants a great camera.

  I recently purchased a new camera. Unfortunately there was an issue. Willoughby's Cameras rectified the problem. The 'phone was answered within a reasonable period and the representative was very helpful, knowledgeable and gave the impression they were pleased to be of assistance.   Excellent service, advice and knowledgeable staff As a professional photographer, I use Willoughby's in New York regularly for everything from filters, batteries, memory cards, right up to pro level cameras and lenses. I have always found the service to be excellent and the prices to be very competitive. The shop is excellently managed by Greg and the the staff are very knowledgeable in their field. You don't get them pressing you for a sale like some other shops. If you say that you are just browsing, they respect that and leave you alone until you ask for assistance.

  Excellent online experience I have always purchased my cameras and accessories from Willoughby's Cameras, so was delighted to find that Willoughby's Cameras were one of the few online retailers to offer stock of a newly released camera I was looking to purchase. This with the opportunity to gain a bonus on top of an already generous trade-in was too good an opportunity to turn down! In my rush to purchase, I omitted an essential step to flag the trade-in bonus, however, after effortlessly engaging Willoughby's Cameras customer services they swiftly assisted me in this matter and I received my trade-in and bonus within days. I cannot recommend the Willoughby's Cameras online experience highly enough.

  I went here with my business partner over the weekend. The place looked nice from the outside but we weren't able to come in. They were suppose to be open but instead was doing inventory. They said to come back in about an hour and they should be done and when we did come back the store was closed. We just wasted our time. It would have been nice for them to do inventory when they're closed or tell us the truth. I'm hoping it's just because they're starting off so I will give them one more try.

  Worst customer service communication Before buy a second hand lens online I did ask if it would come with all accessories once I was confirmed I decided to pay for it , when the lens arrived next day it just came without any accessories , I email customer service and its nearly a month and they haven't responded ( order number W22371929 ) so disappointed the way how customer service work . Thanks but , unfortunately costumer service they haven’t contact me yet !

  Nikon D7500 DSLR Camera with 18-140mm Lens I am not a professional; Amateur at best but I upgraded to this camera from a D3300; wow! excellent prompt service, delivery was within 48hours of my ordering.   I recently bought a Celestron NexStar 6SE 150mm f/10. The telescope is brilliant, Willoughby's cameras are very efficient and I received my telescope within days. I had an issue with an accessory in the diagonal and there customer service was fantastic, A lady called Rachel was so quick to respond, and resolved the problem right away. Very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend this shop.

  Thank you, Willoughby's Cameras! I have used Willoughbys a number of times for my photographic equipment and have always had a premium experience and great customer service. Most notably, the staff in Willoughby's Cameras for handling my trade in and recent camera purchase, but also the staff dealing with online orders for helping with a recent lens purchase. I appreciate their diligence and attention to detail and although they are a high street retailer, they are all enthusiasts themselves and not just sales people. That makes all the difference!

  Nice new, clean store with lots of stuff. Same customer service you can expect from the high-street New York store. The issue is that they had no 35mm lens caps in stock, which was what I was looking for, and they let me know they ran out long ago and had no idea when they would get more. This is not a good sign for a new store. If your customers can't rely on you to carry the essential equipment and accessories, they will stop wasting their time with your store. I went next door to Adorama, and they had what I needed, in addition to a fully stocked Tamron and Sigma full section. Maybe take some inventory and supply chain lessons from them.

  Went in there today and was politely greeted by staff member behind the counter. Store is big, bright, organized and spacious and has lots of camera gear. However I was completely ignored for about several minutes while I was in pacing back and forth waiting for staff to help me. It wasn't that busy inside so not sure why no one was helping. I was expecting to get some advice since I am new to photography and read a lot of positive reviews online. Not sure if I will return.
