  I needed an upgrade to my camera (Canon EOS T6) for shooting my kids' sports (fast, sometimes low light). I had been to an NYC store and felt like I was getting fleeced. I had the exact opposite experience with Silvio, and the entire store. He kept me in Canon EOS, but the 77D with EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM.

  Classes offered by Willoughby's Cameras I took almost all of the classes offer by Willoughby's Cameras with Silvio as the instructor. He was very knowledgeable and experience with his instruction of the use of the camera. I ended up purchasing a lens that he recommended and I am practicing and following Silvio advice. He is sincere in following up with customers when you have questions. I really enjoyed his classes.

  Easy, secure, reliable. But I hate the Willoughby's Cameras' Sales TAX that was not collected before Wayfair vs. South Dakota. The state sales tax is remitted to your state government. I will buy expensive products of lenses and camera bodies elsewhere.

  Willoughby's Photo is the Best with no sales Tax in CA which for me is almost 10%! The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art Lens was back ordered everywhere and could not be found. I asked to be notified when the lens was available, I received a email from Willoughby's photo when it was in and was able to place my order for the lens right away~

  I purchased a drone for my husband for his birthday. The product and delivery were fine. I was disappointed that when the price went down within a couple of days of when I bought it, Willoughby's Cameras would not provide a price adjustment on this rather expensive purchase.

  Very Interesting and Creative Lens Recently I used the Lensbaby Burnside 35mm f/2.8 lens at the local Botanical Gardens. It was enjoyable to learn the lens, and take interesting flower photos. The price is great, and the photos you can take are exciting. The Lensbaby Burnside lens is a wonderful creative lens to add to your photography bag. :)

  True Southern Hospitality in NY City by Willoughby's! This is one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. I live in the lush of Colorado Springs and I am a Realtor who does professional real estate photography. I have had the opportunity to visit the store in Manhattan and I call frequently with questions. Everyone I have ever dealt with at Willoughby's is extremely helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. In fact, I don't believe I could have gotten into this type of photography without their help and advice. I highly recommend these folks- they are good people.

  A little gem of a camera shop. I went looking for old manual lenses to put on a mirrorless camera and was spoilt for choice. Great stock and superb service. Highly recommend!! Just wish I lived closer :/

  Products That Won't Ship I came here to order some Rollei Black Magic , and none of it will ship, In-Store Pick-Up Only??!! If it wasn't for the gift card I was given, I would have taken my business elsewhere. This will be my last stop from now on if you are going to continue to limit the darkroom chemicals you ship. Really makes me sad :-(

  Willoughby's Cameras' is a dream come true to an Indie filmmaker and production company owner like myself! Willoughby's Cameras' I stumbled upon looking for Meeting Owl last month to test. It is fantastic! Beautifully designed. Great engineering. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. So I bought another one. We will be using them for hybrid Zoom sessions and corporate conferences for a US Multinational with expatriates across globe. Half our employees will be in a meeting room here in California, the others scattered across Germany, Singapore, Africa, Philippines, and Canada.

  well, i have to say i have been going there for a very long time, and i have to mention there is one member of staff there, do not know his name , but he is very obnoxious and has not got any good customer service skills at all, he talks over you, he tries to tell you your wrong and hes correct, i also believe they overcharge on certain services they offer, if that guy wasnt working there, i think it would be a better store!!!

  Misleading Ad on Free Shipping The Shipping policy is a link as there's too much to list for the ins and outs on every single product page. At a glance, Shipping policy expressly states that it is for orders over $99 Shipping to Canada, and that this is only with Pre-Paid Duties. However, Customer may always elect for a slower and delayed package by opting to pay these at the border instead.

  Great value and service Once again I've been impressed by Willoughby's Photo. I ordered the Meade Instruments EclipseView 114mm solar telescope, which was (for me) a large ticket item. Not being in stock I paid a deposit and waited the quoted timescale for them to receive it, paid the balance, and it was dispatched. I also ordered a dovetail bar which they verified would fit and included in the dispatch. They had (what I presume) was a slightly out of date but very competitive price, which they honored. I'm very impressed with them.

  I’ve dealt with Willoughby's Cameras' for a few years now for all my DSLR needs. I’ve bought new cameras and used cameras, I’ve bought lenses and I’ve also used them for sensor cleaning. I’ve never had a single problem with them and the gentleman that I’ve always dealt with called Jimmy has always been totally professional and dealt with any questions I had quickly and comprehensively, even going out of his way to arrange a firmware update on a lens where he had no need to do so. Stock levels are excellent for Nikon and the prices extremely competitive and delivery of items is rapid and as I’ve said before the customer service is second to none. Give them a go, I cannot speak highly enough of them.

  Canon EF 100mm Macro Awesome for the jewelry photography, I see every detail on the diamonds ring. Very good focus ring for to change the focus for later doing focus stacking in photoshop. Quickly becoming my favorite go to lens! Well Worth The Investment!

  The Celestron Nexstar SLT130 does what it says..Very easy to use and very reliable.Setup is fast and has sturdy construction.Great to use for astronomy viewing.   Inconsistent Help I purchased a camera and LensCoat Lens Cover for Canon 55-250mm from Willoughby's Cameras', following their recommendations. However, they didn't suggest one item which is necessary to make them work together. I only discovered this when the original order arrived.   Exceptional Quality, Good Value I nearly purchased a less expensive variable ND, but I was unnerved by some of the negative reviews. Having owned Tiffen filters in the past, I felt comfortable with this brand. The construction of the Tiffen variable ND is excellent, and the quality superb. An exceptional filter that delivers as promised.

  purchase of nikon lens I liked the use of searching, however, when I added it to my wish list, it said rebates available. When I clicked on the link, it further stated to read the terms and conditions. I looked for the terms and conditions by searching and found nothing that related to my item. Please explain what the available rebates are for the Nikon 35mm f1.8 lens that sells for $176.95. I have now paid for it and would like to know what this is before it ships. The terms and conditions link below does not address the issue rebates.

  I'm a recent convert from Sony A mount to Nikon mirrorless cameras. I was surprised that the this Nikon 24-70mm f4 kit zoom lens is as heavy as it is when I opened the box. However the lens is well made, feels very durable and with a battery grip on my Nikon Z6 it feels balanced when shooting. It delivers fast, wide-angle to medium telephoto zoom capability and is optimized for edge-to-edge sharpness . Overall I'm pleased. Willoughby's always has fast delivery and great service.

  Sony Alpha a7R IIIA I had to choose between Best Buy and Willoughby's PHOTO, the price of the camera was the same but the difference was that Willoughby's was offering the accessory kit and also a better price for the extra coverage warranty for accessories. Such a great camera very impressed! such great guys to deal with their business, they also scheduled delivery if you are out of town!   Ordered a Fujifilm Zoom Date 90 camera, two lenses, two flashes and extra batteries. Ordering was very easy and equipment was shipped quickly. I had some trouble on the website tracking down a flash diffuser for a Godox but, after some research with the manufacturer, found what I needed.

  I had excellent service from this company. They were able to get a Ricoh GR III street edition camera to me the next day (Saturday) after ordering. The staff I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable and i was most pleased with the entire experience. I recommend Willoughby's Cameras' wholeheartedly.

  I'm a novice photographer. I shoot Sony because, well, I only have an a6000 - and I personally like Sony. First of all, HUGE THANK YOU to WILLOUGHBY'S CAMERAS because, I kid you not, this Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD lens shipped and arrived not only in two days but early as well - even required signature to insure I received the expensive item. Second, WOW. I know I'm not overkill in detail over here but I'm really impressed with the build quality and sharpness of this lens. I have yet to field test it fully but it has worked quite well for product photography already. I am very pleased with my purchase and I suppose the months of research was worth it. *Attached is a sample of client work shot with this lens.

  As a photography enthusiast, I was not comfortable trying to clean my camera sensor, so I took my camera in to be serviced. The staff were friendly and quick to help. I also sent two lenses in to be calibrated at the same time. They had a quick turnaround. I tested out the lenses that weekend and was very pleased with the cleaning and calibration. I will definitely be back to their store in the future :)

  I purchased the Sony FDR-AX 53 Camcorder to record Church Services, here in southwestern Arizona and from my personal observations of the camera it's everything and more than I could have expected.   Highly recommended film camera shop! I bought a a vintage Mamiya ZE 35mm film SLR and a bunch of film from Silvio Cruz back in September 2019. The price is reasonable compared to those in Manhattan. Great communication with prompt phone calls and emails. He took the time to analyze any problem I had and came back with solutions. There were some foam on the prism visible through the viewfinder. This is quite common with a few Olympus OM series. Silvio Cruz looked out for spares to replace the prism. There were other issues and Silvio resolved it with ease. Bought more films from them recently. I'll definitely buy from Willoughby's Photo Emporium again. Thank you for everything!

  Well stocked but not as good as 5 years ago. I was looking for a camera battery charger and they only had a third party one that I hope will work. I was ready to buy a Canon RF 50mm lens. They did not have one in stock and it would take weeks to get one. Unfortunately I will be hundreds of miles from Manhattan.

  Willoughby's Cameras delivery was awesome and I will continue to use them for all my purchases. The Sony FE 24-105 mm F4 lens with UV filter Kit I bought recently from Willoughby's Cameras were handle very well upon arrival. Both had no damage and on schedule. The only down side I have is the price is kind of expensive, but you get for what you pay for, I think it is worth. I will suggest my friends to purchase this Sony FE 24-105mm from Willoughby's Cameras.

  I took a REDUCATION® real-world training with the latest RED Digital Cinema camera systems, Silvio was our instructor. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional.   DJI Air 2S, Great Beginner Drone I highly recommend this drone, punches above its weight in features and performance, and is a great value for what you get. Of course, buying this drone through Willoughby's Cameras was also a pleasure, like always! The listing for it on the website was immediate online once the A2S was announced as available by DJI.
