  I went in to sell some old cameras and the people in are great. They're helpful, explain what they do and completely open in what they'd take and couldn't. For a buyer, the store is an absolute treasure of lenses and cameras, all backed up with people who have a real love of photography

  The staff are always helpful and friendly, and for a small fee you can borrow lenses to try them out before deciding to purchase. I’ve attended some photography workshops there, which are always great fun and informative. I will be ordering from them again soon.

  First time user of Willoughby's camera. Purchased a Nikon D500 at a great price and the delivery was really fast and the package well and safely wrapped. What let the experience down was the local couriers who sat on the parcel for nearly 3 weeks without notification and I had to chase up the Courier to find where it was.

  Just purchased a Sony a7 IV camera from Willoughby's camera. I was lucky as it was the last one and was a used camera. Every other companies were out of stock. Well it arrived today, absolutely first class, just like brand new. From start to finish it was an easy transaction. No problems whatsoever. Camera was in it's original box with case and packed excellently in a large box extremely well packaged. Highly recommend them.

  Overall very pleased with my purchase of the Canon EOS R5. I can finally use my prime lenses to their best. The camera is in good working order, came packaged securely and arrived on time. Images straight out of the camera are just gorgeous and color fidelity is spot on. Paired with the RF 28-70, I love every image coming out of the camera. I am really satisfied!

  Excellent from Willoughby's Cameras Supply chain problems have made the release of cameras and lenses from Nikon sporadic and much delayed. I had this lens on pre-order from 3 US retailers for several months. Willoughby's Cameras were the first to be able to fulfil the order and it was delivered the next morning. Excellent service. I am very pleased.

  It took your chosen delivery company three attempts to deliver the parcel. We were here on each occasion. The fine dust that comes off of the paper plays havoc with my Brother Printer. Otherwise the placing and packing of my order and in dealing with yourselves was superb and the paper arrived undamaged. The final results are great too.

  The worst customer service experienced to date. I still don’t have both items I bought in August(now 2023), they can’t deliver a correct invoice as requested multiple times and have eventually confessed they have been informing other customers about my order. I wouldn’t touch them with an extended barge pole and will never use again.

  Willoughby's Cameras' Service At this moment, I can only review the service of Willoughby's Camera as I haven't had the opportunity to print on the paper I purchased.In the beginning I had some issues about ordering overseas because of concerns over delivery time. I contact Willoughby's Camera about my concern and I got a quick response. Not only was I surprised about the delivery time, but also the cost of shipping. I was satisfied with their response and continued with my order, and I was completely satisfied with their service.

  Speedy Delivery, Thoughtful Packaging I bought some Ilford B&W film and two ink toners from Willoughby's Cameras' online and I was very impressed both with the delivery time (arriving next day) and with the thoughtful touches in my order. Everything came carefully packaged and I'm really happy with the products. Could not recommend more highly. Can't wait to visit the Willoughby's Cameras' shop sometime soon.

  Very helpful staff and a lovely little shop! The student discount is a great bonus too. Good to see they've put restrictions on the number of rolls of film that can be bought in one go too while there seems to be a shortage, so that more people get a chance to have fun with their film cameras!

  Happy to take my money and I was assured I would get a compact flash card and not a SD but a SD card came. I complained via email but they wouldn't reply. That was late August and it it now 2023 January. Also serial numbers do not match and they keep telling me it is okay. Luckily camera is working fine as there's no follow up!

  On ordering the camera outfit. The next day I had a phone call saying if I wanted to upgrade my battery's I thought that was very nice of them. But on arrival of my camera outfit costing $1049 . it arrived left on door step and the box was open. The box had just 1 very thin piece of tape. Luckily there was nothing broken. But the battery that I had paid for were not there. I phoned them and explained and no problem at all they sent me a new lot. I would order from them again if I no the box will arrive sealed.

  Great experience No problem at all with purchasing my Canon r7. At first I did wonder how on earth I could be saving well over $1000 compared to other on-line camera retailers but all was absolutely without any issues. All perfectly boxed in original packing etc - just like any other shop - and arrived within the week. I rang and spoke to them before the purchase (it was a lot of money!) and they were very helpful. The battery charger has a two flat pin plug but comes with a Canon adaptor - it works perfectly. I will certainly shop with Willoughby's Cameras again and save myself hundreds of pounds.

  First off i want to thank the customer service i received when i called Willoughby's Cameras. The lens was exactly what i wanted. I received my new RF 100-500 a few days ago and tested it with my Canon R6. When Willoughby's Cameras showed in stock I pulled the trigger without hesitation and received in two days from ordering. It arrived just in time for me to use it during our Christmas Eve services.

  I purchased a lens described as having been opened and returned as unwanted. Willoughby's Cameras described the packaging as a little scuffed but the lens as being in excellent condition. There was a very nice discount applied.The lens was in perfect condition as was the packaging as far as I could see. So a great purchase with excellent service too.

I also ordered some film on line to collect in store, which was available in 24 hours. Nice shop, easily accessible and friendly and helpful staff.   The Guys at Willoughby's Cameras' are very professional and helpful however the reason for the low marks is the delay in delivery albeit at a time when we had fuel shortages, 3-5 days turned into 17 days very frustrating but I would not be deterred from ordering from them again great product and good accessories

  Didn't receive & no refund/replacement! I spent $3,250 at Willoughby's Cameras' and they sent the parcel via FedEx. FedEx told me they couldn't deliver without a business name, which I informed them I didn't have. Then 2 hours later they said they had delivered and left with front desk/reception but no indication of where this is?? Willoughby's Cameras told me they would resolve in 14 days, 1 month later and they are ignoring all my emails and calls fall on deaf ears. Absolute joke of a company - avoid at all costs.

  I paid for next day delivery as I needed it promptly and received a note from UPS telling me I’d missed the delivery but it would be “At Post”. No problem. Next day I go to post with note, and they can’t find it, and that the same courier has tried to deliver again. So I say I’ll come to depot the next day to pick up. Next day and they can’t find parcel, again the courier has tried to deliver. This time the person at depot has lost my delivery notification card. I told person that I would be away for 10 days now so don’t try to deliver, I’ll pick up at depot on return. When I come back parcel outside my door on floor!!!! Delivery company are useless.

  Really helpful and informative company. My camera broke and I needed a replacement fast to continue with my work. I paid by company debit card and we concluded the transaction swiftly. The camera arrived by FedEx within three days (tracking delivery progress was easy and accurate), and in perfect condition with all the accessories.   I contacted Willoughby's camera hoping to get a Fujifilm GFX 50R quickly and was fortunate that they had one in stock. I ordered on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday - brilliant, very impressed and will certainly use them again. I almost used one of their competitors which was a few dollars cheaper but when I phoned them no one answered - so very happy I went with Willoughby's.

  Samyang 14mm f/2.8 The staff were extremely knowledgeable and I bought the Lens at a price that was equivalent to the lowest I found online. The advice from the staff was most welcome, I have used the new lens now on numerous occasions and am delighted with it. If you are buying something online it makes all the difference if you can talk to someone who knows the products and can help in your decision making.   I had a worst experience during the Black Friday sale, where my purchase was oversold & I was put on a wait list. I was offered a $50 gift voucher for the inconvenience. I waited a couple of weeks & then sent through an email to them asking for an update on my order. I received a response within 24 hours from Jimmy, saying they had chased up my order & had organized it to be expressed posted to me at no extra cost.

  I bought a Sony a7C camera two weeks ago from Willoughby's camera. When I received it, I was amazed by the size and weight of this camera. Most importantly, the flip-screen makes my life so easier when it comes to video recording. Although the kit lens provided cannot beat that high-end Sony G lens, I am still amazed by its optical performance and convenience.   I preordered the Sony a7 IV camera and was excited it arrived before Christmas. Unfortunately after using it for two days the shutter speed would not change. Neither Willoughby's nor Sony could figure it out so I had to exchange it. No problems since then. Absolutely love the camera.

  I came in looking for a tripod and really appreciated the article that explained what to look for in a tripod. After reading that and some reviews, I felt like I was able to make a more educated decision. I compared prices with Amazon and they were the same.   I ordered my Canon EOS R with the 24-105mm L series lens and it is GREAT! Such a step up from my 80D. Willoughby's did a GREAT job shipping and delivering ON TIME, and flawlessly. In fact, at the time of ordering, Willoughby's was the only outlet I could find both the body and lens as a kit and they even threw in an excellent FREE accessories pack that include the PERFECT bag for the camera and lens.   Willoughby's camera has been one of my primary suppliers of photographic gear and supplies for over 10 years. Their service is excellent, with prompt delivery for in stock items. On the one occasion when I ordered a tripod that did not meet my requirements, they provided a return label and promptly credited me. Can't expect any better than that!
