  The service is a great service to take control of your own health -- but figuring out how the process worked was a little confusing. I had to call them to figure out how the ordering process worked. Just add a step by step "how to order the test" on the first page of the website and it would be a much better experience. Also, I wish the lab tests themselves were a little more understandable for a lay person to read. But it was an affordable, easy process that allowed me to take charge of my own health without expensive doctor's visit, and I had results within 2 days!

  Walk-In-Lab made caring for myself so easy during a time it was difficult to get what I needed from a local provider. They were prompt at returning orders once they were purchased, and results came back quickly. The price is unbeatable, and I didn’t accrue any of the extra fees just by having a physician briefly lay eyes on me. The experience was seamless and professional, which is unfortunately lacking in much of the rest of the healthcare sector today. I will definitely use them again in the future.

  Walk-in Lab provides a valuable service to those who wish to monitor their health in supplement to usual medical care. The laboratory services that are utilized— Quest and Labcorp —are first rate. I am grateful to have this service where I live. My previous state prohibited it — not clear why this is the case in some states.

  The reason I was doing the HTMA ( hair testing mineral analysis) was that the last showed uranium and barium. Then I had an MRI with contrast (gadolinium) and read the terrible tales of kidney issues and the gadolinium staying in the body. Sure enough I had high levels of gadolinium and had to take some Toxaprevent to try to drop it out. It worked! Everyone should do an HTMA test and then work to clean themselves up if there are elevated levels. Inexpensive and easy to do. I recommend this service!

  This isn’t exactly a customer service issue, I’m a professional is your experience designer, which means by evaluate web applications and give me recommendations for how to improve them. You have an excellent service, however, there is one large weakness that you have, and that is your mobile website. It is a little bit difficult to use on a mobile phone, which is how many customers are going to be using it, while they are actually at a quest lab. Ideally, you would hire a user experience designer to make some recommendations for how to improve the website – once you do that, you will really have an excellent service. Keep up the great work.   The online order process was painless. It's very nice to be able to order the test myself and not rely on a visit with a physician, who may or may not feel the test is needed. It took about 24 hrs to get "approval" for the test orders even though they were prepaid. Walk-in Lab referred me to only one lab in my area, and they were backed up about 5 days on appointments. Keep this in mind that you may not have a choice of going anywhere that can take you sooner. Also I've heard that if you get your test orders through your physician, there's a better chance your insurance would cover it than if you pay in advance and submit it for reimbursement. I'll be finding out if that's true pretty soon.

  Hello Melinda, thank you for your communication. I placed the order with Walk-in Lab in the early afternoon on Wednesday, and since LabCorp closes at 2:30 and Quest closes at 4:00 I stopped checking my e-mail at 4:00 since I wouldn't be able to utilize the requisition and make an appointment until the following day anyway. I see that the e-mail to me from Quest approving the requisition came in Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. and I picked it up the next morning. I apologize that wasn't initially made clear on my review. I made the appointment with the Quest in my area (5 miles) but they were booked 5 days out. A second Quest is in the next city over, 11 miles away, then another in 20 miles. I try to avoid the traffic-ridden freeways out of my immediate area if possible which add a lot of commute time to get a simple task done. I decided to show up to the closest one right at opening time the following day, Friday, and only had to wait about 1/2 hour. I appreciate that you take the reviews to heart.   I am very grateful for direct to consumer labs because it allows me to have more control with my own health. Doctors often order fewer or less often than necessary labs due to insurance restrictions. Walk-in-Lab has competitive prices for a wide range of important labs.

  There are two labs next door to each other and neither one of them seemed to know how to fulfill the order. The invoice said labcorp but the order was for quest and it caused a bunch of confusion and back and forth before I was able to actually get my order taken. It made the entire process a lot more stressful than it should have been.

If you choose LabCorp testing you can go to any LabCorp location and the same with Quest Diagnostics. I looked over your order and this lab order was for Quest Diagnostics.   I was happy with ability to purchase my own lab tests and go to my neighborhood lab corp and have the draw done. The price is high, for a retired person. I was unhappy when I emailed about wanting to get more specific information as to the results of the test and never recieved a response.

  The process was so easy! I wanted to retest some of my labs sooner than my doctor would order them, so I went online and found Walk-In labs. The test I needed was inexpensive and I really was able to just walk-in. It helped that I knew which lab in my area to select for easy parking and wait-times, so do your research if you have multiple options. I was literally parked and in-and-out of the lab within 10min without an appointment. On top of that, my results were uploaded in less than 24 hours! I’m so happy I did this. I have peace of mind now knowing my results. Had I waited for my doctor I’d be stressed and worrying for another month for no reason!
