Dealing with Walk-In Labs is so easy, starting with making appointments, getting directions to the location, and the friendly service on arrival! I had a lot of tests ordered, and the phlebotomist was very pleasant and friendly. Although the building this lab was in is older, their space was very clean and tidy. I will go back there again in the future lab draws, and highly recommend them to others!

I had been to the hospital with critically low platelets and because of insurance could not get a follow up appointment within the two weeks the doctors had recommended. I knew something wasn't right and searched online to see if I could order my own CBC. I found Walk-In Lab and for a very reasonable price scheduled my test for that afternoon. I was in and out of the lab within about two minutes. The next morning they called with my results and my platelets were back down to critically low. It may have saved my life.

My CA19- 9 order was wonderful to have available. However, since 5-10% of the population is Lewis phenotype such that can not secrete CA19-9, there should be a choice to order Lewis phenotype or genotype. Or at a minimum the results should show if Ca19-9 was low or negative.

Answer by A AFlagYour response is strange and doesn't address the core issue, which is acknowleging that if you offer CA9-19, you should also offer Lewis antigen phenotype or genotype. Without offering the other test a customer cannot get a complete clinical picture.

easy and quick to set up and navigate the website. had all the tests one would need. my lab requisition was sent electronically to the lab which was convenient so I did not have to print it out and bring it with me. Results were promptly sent to me the next day. Prices are very reasonable. All in all a pleasant and erficient transaction so I would definitely use this service again

I purchased the Alcat test and I am unable to find a lab to draw my blood for this kit. Neither Quest, Labcorp or my local hospital will do it. Still trying to find a place but if not I'll have to return the kit.

Walk-in Lab's procedure was way too easy. The web site is simple and intuitive, even for people with limited brain capacity, like me. I got the test done the same day. I got my results the next working day after. Best of all, I didn't have to see a damn doctor. I especially like the low cost.

This service is very convenient when I go to Quest Diagnostics. One time the results were not returned for a single test because it is processed out of my state. A clinician from walk-in-lab called me personally to inform me that they were following up on that result. It turns out that the sample was not preserved. I was able to get a re-test requisition for no charge.

After taking the time to create an account, order the tests, and make payment, I found that there was not a participating Lab within 100 miles. Apparently not all Quest or Labcorp sites participate. To be fair, The customer service did promptly refund the payment, and I could have checked the lab locator prior to creating an account. It would be a good feature if that locator check was automated in as soon as you entered your address; or if you were cautioned to check this prior to creating an account.

I have used Walk-in Lab several times and find their services to be exceptional. It is easy, convenient and very helpful for me to maintain a balance in my life through these labs. I use their services even though I have fully paid laboratory coverage through my insurance. Without doctors interference which entails having to say a difficult "No" to them forcing drugs on any abnormality, I like the independence of making my own decisions how I want to tackle my abnormal results. I feel it is worth paying for my own labs, monitor and balance my body with good prevention methods. I appreciate the excellent exceptional high level services Walk-in Lab provides. The results are quick, easy to read and convenient.

Ordering was simple and straightforward. I had a little difficulty locating the lab that could accept the sample that was needed for my test but it was easily resolved, The results were received in an amazingly short period of time and the report was clear and easy to understand for the non-medical professional.
