Went to Quest south side Pittsburgh PA the tech stuck me two times and couldn't get no blood it hurt like hell and she said oh well you might want to go to Greentree Quest I hear they're good out there. Didn't ask for an ID gave me what looked like a paper coffee cup. Most of my information was incorrect. The lady at the front desk took the sample with bare hands and wrote on the side of the paper cup. Very unprofessional.

I thought I had completed my order, but really I had only scheduled an appointment. It was frustrating to get to the site and I’m not even have my blood work on order. A friend recommended Walk in Labs when I expressed my concerns about a possible health issue. I’m so glad I checked it out because it honestly couldn’t have been easier to get peace of mind. I am overall very happy with this service. If you call with questions about which lab tests you need (ie: if your doctor gave you an order and you're attempting to replicate/replace it for a cheaper price) they are very knowledgeable about those things. Unfortunately, I was misled about their sale, though. I still purchased even without the advertised sale price because it is still considerably cheaper than the cost of doing labwork with my doctor. I only wish there were more customization options for the various panels. Either way, this is an invaluable service for people who are uninsured which is why I still rated it as "good" despite the advertised 15% off coupon not working for me after being told it would. I paid around $55 for.tests that would be around $150 if I went through Quest Diagnostics alone. Our healthcare system is a scam, but companies like this at least offer us alternatives to stay on top of our health.

Answer by Sarah-John S.FlagThe discount was advertised for all thyroid panels and I was told to use it by the (otherwise helpful) rep on the phone when I called to get help picking the right panel of thyroid tests. Then it wouldn't apply and I called again during checkout and spoke to someone else who said it is only valid on SOME thyroid panels. I just think the advertising should be clearer and all employees should be trained on the small print so that they don't get people's hopes up. There's nothing for anyone to look into in my end although I'm happy to answer any questions.
