Walk in lab is taking your health into your own hands with affordable self pay (no insurance). I was preparing for requesting GLP-1 and it helped me identify I was pre-diabetic (and fortunately good on all other potential causes of weight gain). I was able to avoid expensive doctor's visits and know my organs were functioning regularly (I was also feeling good, no symptoms; just weight gain). I highly recommend a yearly check up to see how you are doing. The lab show you whether any tests comes back outside normal range so you can investigate, research and follow-up. My only caveat is with my particular GLP-1 route which I did through 9am Health and despite sending them my labs, they paid for me to do them again (after I paid for their service of course). So, I could have said some money by doing that first. But I still recommend Walk In Lab, do not pay directly at Labcorp or Quest as they will charge more!

It was easy to find the lab work I needed and buy it. Finding the closest lab was also easy. I registered upon entering the lab and maybe waited 3-5 minutes. The lab tech was respectful, efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend Walk-in Labs

There's not much that could go wrong with a company like WalkInLabs. I received an acceptable price for what I wanted, they sent the order to my lab of choice, and they made my results available quickly. I am not aware of them leaking my information, personal or health, which I think is the only way they could mess up. As someone without insurance but interested in keeping up my health without a primary care doctor (self ordered tests and tele-health), I'll likely be back again.

It's very cumbersome to find which lab has the earliest appointments. Also the instructions are not clear on how to tell the lab that I already paid for it. Also, even for tests that need fasting, there are no appointments for several weeks in the morning time

Walk-In-Lab made it easy to order labs. They offer wellness packages, so it is easy to get basic labs done for a reasonable price. They offer a large selection of labs so you can easily find what you need. They send an email when results are ready and you can easily view them on the Walk-In-Lab site. They had the first primarily results posted the same day.

Have been using Walkin Labs for several years now. They have always done a good job. Easy to order and competitively priced. One great feature is that they give you access to all your previous results by just logging in to your account. The only drawback was they used to take a little long to get you back the results. But as of the last 2 times it couldn't have come back any faster. Highly recommend.

The ordering and scheduling process was easy. However, the results were wildly inaccurate when compared to results from my doctor. I've been going to my doctor/lab for this test for a while and it's been fairly consistent. I was hoping I could switch to using WalkInLab but unfortunately the results were very different.

Answer by Terence M.FlagTo elaborate on my initial comment, when I scheduled the appointment with Labcorp, I was required to identify how the lab cost would be paid for. There were a number of choices that didn't fit (e.g. insurance), and one that kinda/sorta fit: "Someone else is paying". That's the one I selected, and apparently it was the correct choice, but it left me with some concerns as to whether or not I was going to be asked to pony up the cash or my credit card when I arrived at the lab.

(This includes pre-paid services). You won't have to pay anything extra to the lab once you have paid through our service. The lab will know to charge the service to the account on the requisition. I work at Quest Diagnostics and I have patients without insurance and I always tell to use Walk in lab!! I had a patient with 15 tests Quest was going to charge nearly $4000.00!!! Through the years, doctors would always tell me not to worry about something and not to bother getting tested. 3 years ago I decided to become a “citizen scientist” and started ordering my own labs. Walk-in-labs made the process so easy and affordable and improved my health immensely. I’m even paying less than I’ve ever paid for doing testing. It’s as easy as 1-2-3 where you can order a test now and go get tested tomorrow morning. Thanks Walk-in labs!
