Specialist drew blood with experience and skill. Blood sample was properly labeled. I had a cholestrol test taken because I was not confident of results from another lab. Ulta Lab Test results were correct based on other similar tests taken recently. Would use this lab again. Also, making appointment online was easy. "Chat rep" provided answers to my questions about the process and lab locations.

I found out that I am not alone in my frustration. You make an appointment for your test, then return following day to ‘drop’ a specimen. Then staff is belligerent to you because their day is not going well. I could not help noticing sign on wall about respecting staff. Two way street! I was told I had to sign in and await my turn. I do not have an appointment for dropping off so now I am a walk-in. Why isn’t there three options? Appointment, walk-in and dropping off. I could not believe I had to wait over half an hour just to drop off a specimen. I particularly disliked the way we were told to step outside because there was more than three people in the waiting area. I was with friends later and the days events came up. It became evident that this was not an isolated event.

A friend told me about Ulta Labs when I was getting frustrated waiting for appts with a doctor. It has been a game changer in regards to taking charge of my health. I love being able to order additional lab tests that my primary care physician won't order for me. I see a Naturopathic Doctor also for my health care needs and she requests lab work that he won't order. So it's just a win win for me and for my health care provider! The process online was very easy and the promotional discount helped me acquire lab work that I have wanted to have done for years. The woman that did my blood draw was very nice and made my experience great. I would suggest that the check in box be moved to a different location in the lobby. It isn’t easily seen and there is no instruction signs telling you to check in at the kiosk. The other suggestion is that it is really unsafe for her to be working alone. Especially in the times we are in these days. No woman should be working in a place like that alone. She can’t keep her eyes on who is coming in the door and it presents all kinds of unsafe scenarios that could happen. Please have two people there! I was concerned for her well-being . Other than those suggestions it was a nice experience from start to finish.

It was a pretty easy process. The only problem I encountered was that they were unable to find a good vein and as a result were unable to collect a full blood sample. My results changed a lot from last year and I am unsure if a lack of enough blood in the test tube altered my results.

The website was unable to use my debit card due to an incorrect address error even though the address was correct. When I called customer service, I was talked down to and told it was my fault and was told there was nothing they could do. The customer service was so rude and completely incompetent. I can not recommend ulta to anybody who doesn't enjoy being talked down to.

As our customer service representatives had explained to you, we do not have the ability to override your debit card provider's decision to approve or deny the transaction. When your financial institution denies the transaction based upon the information provided by you during the checkout out process, our customer service staff is limited in the options available to you. We can go over the details of your entry and attempt to run the card from our side, which our representative did for you, and unfortunately your financial institution denied the request to approve your transaction, multiple times. We appreciate that you were able to use a different card as recommended by our customer service team, which allowed you to immediately complete your transaction. We are also happy to see that you had your specimen collected the same day and results were received the next morning. Thank you for providing us the opportunity to serve your lab testing needs. We look forward to assisting you with your future lab testing needs.
Answer by A AFlagThat's the problem. My financial institution approved the payment and it was your system not accepting it. If you listened to what I said on the phone call it would be very clear. I understand that your system had a problem with processing certain cards but that is not on my financial institution. I explained it several times and was met with rudeness so please stop saying it was on my end and take accountability. Its good for character and is frustrating when you refuse to take accountability. Not only that but your staff was rude except for the one gentleman who tried processing it on his end. No further reply is needed from your end, just understand the actual facts of the situation and stop trying to say it was the fault of my bank. It was literally only a problem on your end. Fix these problems and I might be able to recommend ulta in the future.
