  Lauren at the Natural Emerald company could not have been better! They have a great selection and were very responsive with questions. Their rendering team made it easy to get the perfect design and Lauren was very helpful and knowledgeable with my requests. You can do the entire process online however they do allow you to visit their NYC office which was a very cool experience! You can tell they have been in business since 1939. There was never any pressure or up-selling, they truly do a great job. The ring presentation was excellent and was crafted very quickly. I would highly recommend them and I will be a customer there again.

  The website is great for perusing on your own, very easy to navigate through the stones of your choice. I ordered a purple sapphire for a custom ring, that unfortunately didn't work out. The return process was easy and my sales rep, Ashley, was very responsive. I will be back for future jewelry needs.

The product offering of the company is AMAZING - we fell in love with many many stones and Lauren worked with us to choose the absolute perfect one.   If you want the wedding ring shopping an experience, and get something one of a kind, THIS IS THE PLACE! Lauren was amazing and helpful with our multiple renderings to create the perfect custom setting. We drove down twice to NYC to first choose the stone we wanted in person (she had multiple laid out based on one we chose, and I ended up loving a different one!), and to pick up. Now we have matching, unheated, straight from this earth Sapphires. I look at this ring every day and I am still in awe of how beautiful and perfect it is. For someone who does not like diamonds, and sapphires is my birthstone, it could not have been more perfect! It is also fun to shop their site to see what gems are available.

  The website is straightforward, easy to use, and functional. The communication with sales is top notch, better than any I have experienced before. They are clear, concise, kind, and knowledgeable. The ring itself came out beautifully, and the engraving I chose to get is well made, deep enough to be easily read and free of sharp edges. The included jewelry care guide, cleaning solution, appraisal paperwork, and gemstone knowledge base are all extremely appreciated resources for someone like myself who doesn't have the best knowledge on what makes jewelry jewelry.   I was very pleased with the expertise and the patience of Lauren at Natural Sapphire Company. During my exploration period, I changed my mind on stones and settings and she was also helpful and positive. In addition, their website is awesome. You can see the actual stones and you can filter based on all types of attributes. You can do comparisons against other stones and settings too. In the end, I received the most lovely ring.

  We are very happy that we went with the Natural Sapphire Company for our engagement ring! Neli Maduwanthi helped us through the design and ordering process and was very kind, helpful, and professional. My fiancé was involved within the initial few conversations, as every sapphire is so unique. Once we nailed down a few details, the communication switched to just myself and Neil for the ordering process. Throughout our whole experience, the site was very accessible and transparent regarding the steps needed to buy our ring. Other sites that sell gemstones or other sapphires don't provide as much information regarding the specific stone. The videos in different lighting were SO helpful narrowing down the right sapphire for us. The delivery process very smooth. With being a more expensive package, it needed a signature for the delivery, and with our funky work schedule we had it delivered to a FedEx store for storage until I could come pick it up. The ring came very well packaged with at least three boxes to protect the ring. It also included in appraisal packet, cleaner, ring bag, etc... We ended up needing the ring resize and one minor repair and were assisted by both Neli and Su Su (who was very friendly and informative)! The return shipping instructions were very clear and included so much helpful information. We only had to pay for the shipping, which was only $20.00! I definitely recommend keeping the boxes that the ring comes in, until you actually propose (as it can be used for returns/repairs). We couldn't be happier with the Green Sapphire we picked - it has so much character to it and is different in every lighting! We cannot wait for it to come back, once the resize/repair is done! We will definitely be recommending The Natural Sapphire Company to others! Thank you!

  Ultimate experts for Previous Gems. My personal experience shopping has been extraordinary. The website is very userfriendly, and the location and offices both convenient and discreet respectively. The selections of precious gems are highest quality and varied for many options. However, what makes all the difference is the Service. Su is pleasant and a courteous greeter, and then comes the real Super Star - Lauren ! She is an excellent listener, and adapted easily to my needs and expectations. Her very indepth knowledge did not overwhelm me, as she makes all the complex and involved criteria 'user friendly'. Her recommendation was sincere, evident that she guided me not to just spend more for size of a gem, which was also more expensive, but find better quality even if it was slightly smaller or less expensive - because she was focused on my needs and being fair on delivering best for me. Impressive and rare ! Lauren's after sales approach has been professional and accommodating for small follow up assistance and clarifications.   I knew I wanted a sapphire for my engagement ring but wasn't having any luck finding a ring at any of the big chain stores. I checked out the Natural Sapphire Company's website for an engagement ring and fell in love with a cushion cut blue sapphire. I hadn't even considered customizing my own ring but the process was easy and the same price as other rings I'd seen. I made my selection of stone and setting along with a description of how I wanted the stone arranged. Within 24 hours I was sent digitally rendered previews of how the ring would turn out and it was perfect. I shared it with my fiance. It took 3 week to ship.10/10 recommend this company to anyone looking for a sapphire ring.

  I found my perfect sapphire ring. It took several months for me to choose the stone and custom setting. Several stones were shipped for me to choose from. I appreciated being able to change my mind and exchange the first ring I chose. The selection of stones on the website is vast and each stone can be seen in detail including a 3D view that can be rotated. Ksenia was patient and helpful answering countless emails.

  I actually worked with the Natural Ruby Company, which is affiliated with the Natural Sapphire Company. They were excellent. The ring that I ordered is beautiful: a white gold ring with a gorgeous ruby stone that the sales rep and I picked out together. The sales rep scheduled an appointment with me very politely, quickly, and efficiently and gave me multiple options to choose from. All in all, a very quick and easy process from beginning to end. The ring arrived sooner than I expected and I've been wearing it ever since.

  I stumbled upon The Natural Sapphire Company a while back to give my fiancé an idea of what I might like in a stone/ring. My mom was a jeweler so I looped her in too. The site is very easy to navigate for finding your desired carats/shape/color and then setting! We eventually got in contact with them and they were very quick to mock up what we were looking for (essentially a combo of two settings). We live in Philadelphia and decided it was worth a quick trip to NYC to meet with Katherine and see the stone plus some others in person. She had gathered a variety based on my tastes and all were amazing, but ultimately we ended up with the one we originally went in to see! She was super helpful and easy to talk to, and the meeting only took about 15 minutes. The ring arrived this past Tuesday and we are beyond ecstatic with how it turned out. It’s absolutely amazing and better than we even imagined, and I truly can’t stop staring at it! It feels very well made and due to its timeless style I will never ever tire of it. Couldn’t recommend The Natural Sapphire Company more! (Also, if you can’t go see the sapphires in person; rest assured they are even more stunning that you may think!)

  Great experience dealing with Natural Sapphire Company and especially Lauren my sales rep. Lauren was extremely helpful and attentive. The color of the stones of the first set wasn't what I wanted and Lauren quickly coordinated a return and provided the option of a total refund or finding the right color stone. I opted for the right color stone--Lauren personally worked with the jewelers to find the color I wanted--had the piece made and sent to me expeditiously. The level of service was amazing especially considering that my purchase was not relatively expensive compared to some of the pieces they offer. Thanks Lauren and the entire team.   I purchased two sapphires for two projects six months apart: summer 2022 and February 2023. Two different jewelers (with different expertise) in my home town were tasked with setting the stones and both were amazed at the quality for the price. Because I had some trade in credit, I invited the second jeweler to obtain the sapphire for my ring build at a comparable quality and price and he said he had no source to match the one I selected online. Lauren, the senior sales associate I worked with both times, provided impeccable customer service. But after looking at other companies I kept coming back to NSC! I love the education they give on sapphires, their origin, treatments, care, etc. I also loved as I was choosing the right sapphire for our engagement ring, Katherine would send over some renderings of stone settings, along with with taking picture of the sapphires we were comparing in different lights. I did purchase and return 2 during the process, but the return policy is so smooth and easy. And alas, the 3rd time was the charm because we found the perfect pear cut Montana blue gray sapphire.   Website was great and the 360 degree images did a great job showing off the gem and representing it so when I got the gem in my hands it was exactly as expected! I liked the way they gave the background of the purchasing process of their stones and their customer service was excellent. I went in knowing very little about what I wanted other than a blue sapphire.   My sapphire engagement ring was custom-made by The Natural Sapphire Company. We worked with Livia Brode most extensively during the process, but everyone we interacted with at NSC was polite, kind, and gracious. Honestly, we were nervous about bringing our business to NSC because our budget was on the small side however, everyone we worked with made us feel like valued customers and never for a second made us feel like we didn't belong (in other words, they were not snooty - which really sets them apart in the fine jeweler market!). I highly recommend NSC if you are thinking about a custom piece of jewelry. They helped us refine our desired design and produced renderings and wax models to ensure it was just how we wanted it before production. The ring itself turned out stunning. Beautiful craftsmanship and any time I have come back to them with needs related to the ring (resizing, cleaning recommendations, etc.,), NSC has been extremely helpful and responsive. I am sure I will be a customer for life, and I very much look forward to my next purchase from them!

  I designed a ring with The Natural Sapphire Co. and I am happy with the final product, but getting it done correctly took 4 attempts. First, a diamond from the pave fell out on day 1. Next, the ring came back with square prongs rather than claw. After that, the sapphire was reset crookedly. Finally, attempt number 4 was spot on, but by that point designing the ring was no longer fun... just a hassle. I would not shop there again!

I did not end up buying from The Natural Sapphire Company, but did purchase a stone to view from them and it was lovely yet too small for what we were seeking.   (***This review was my original & only review I've ever made on Yelp, that was instantly put into the ""Not Recommended Reviews Category."" ..Not sure why that happened, but here it is.)My mission: Find a gorgeous ruby gemstone to use for a custom engagement ring.To start, I spent several days worth of time looking for loose rubies online and at local jewelery stores. I educated myself quickly about gemstones, and learned a lot along the way.But I digress. I stumbled upon The Natural Sapphire Company, and saw some insanely beautiful rubies. The price was up their, but not crazy high. I almost thought it was too good to be true. I found some negative reviews on ""Unhappy Consumer"" or something like that, and it worried me. But being a smart online detective, I did not give up on TNSC. I wrote to to them and said that, ""I was very interested in some of their rubies but I was trouble by some scathing reviews I read online. And that if what I read was true, then I didn't want to do business with them, but if it wasn't true, I was interested...And to please explain."" Sure enough, the next day I got a response thoroughly explaining the untrue remarks that had been made about them. They stood by their reputation. A strong reputation that goes back since the 30's. I was delighted and surprised at first to hear back. (Usually I don't see happy endings with these types of online situations)Livia. Livia is a sweetheart. She helped me along the entire process of picking the perfect ruby. This was more difficult and a harder choice since I was going to be buying the gem from Texas and not getting to see the stone until it was shipped to me. Livia hung in there with me for over 2 weeks, taking extra pictures of gems on her fingers to let me imagine them on my girlfriends hand. She helped me narrow my choice down from probably 10 rubies to 2. She even offered to provide me with a free return label should I not like the ruby after all. All of their gems are certified. I ended up choosing 2 rubies. In one day, Livia packaged and had the rubies sent down to Texas to me. She placed a hold for the entire amount, but did not charge me, until I had made my choice and returned one of the rubies. Livia was kind, courteous, and professional. She responded promptly to emails and would call me when I asked her to, or make herself available when I needed to talk.I joined Yelp to make this review, because I am so pleased with my experience and with the ruby that will go on my soon to be fiancee's hand. I wanted to do something to show my gratitude to Livia and TNSC. I still need to send her flowers of something. I also hope this review helps anyone considering purchasing from them online. They are legit pros. They have high quality merchandise and service. If you see something you like and you see their pictures on the website, but want to see more, just ask.
