  Excellent product and outstanding support and communications during the ordering process through to delivery at our job site. Follow-up orders for additional fasteners were processed very quickly. All in all a very pleasant, statisfying and productive experience, culminating in an outstanding series of deck railings.

  The company has been very good in helping me to figure out all the pieces needed to complete the project. I needed to modify the project and ordered parts several times, but the response was always very quick and the project able to keep moving to completion.   I was given the impression that this cable railing was for the consumer. I thought I was almost finished but now I find that each of the 20 tensioning cables will need to be ground with a grinder because they come already longer than the depth of their posts. And to do that I will need to use a vise of some sort to hold them, which should be attached to a table. I don't know too many consumers who have a grinder or vise on a table and I'm not very happy, as I thought I was almost finished. Instead I have to go buy a dremel and rig a vise grip somehow since the tensioner doesn't attach to the cable. And the tensioner is at least 1/4" smaller than the hole in the post which doesn't look very professional as that leaves a large hole around the cable in the post. So I would not recommend this product to anyone, frankly.

  I finished three project at my home, one of them involving a very difficult multi- layer staircase. The quality of the component pieces from SC&R was fantastic. Everything fits, is well made of high quality materials and accompanied by excellent instructions on how a great looking quality railing.   Everything was top quality and so far so good. Customer service was responsive and great. Only issue is the extra charge for the crimper and then a charge to return it which added about $100 to my bill. That should have been included.

  We've been working on a fairly large project in phases and the folks at SSC have been great. They review each phase and give us feedback on the design, double checking our work to make sure we're code compliant, figure out the parts we need and getting them to us in a timely fashion with the most cost effective delivery, They are also very responsive to changing plans, shipping us the needed parts quickly when things change. All in all a great partner.

  SC&R products are top grade and was able to install myself (DIYr). Instructions are simple and clear cut. I added L.E.D. lights underneath and have a beautiful commercial grade railing on my new deck. Envy of the neighborhood!

  On the pricey side but since removing the 20' length of top rails... it's better... you might want to discuss passivation a bit more... I had a problem with rust/ corrosion, as long as the cables got rained on there was no problem...those that didn't get direct rain had significant discoloration, etc.

  I am very satisfied with the look of my cable railing and the ease of installation. The directions were clear and easy to understand. The tools I purchased worked well and I had no problems with my installation. It would have been nice to be able to get the top rails in lengths less than 20 feet since I have a lot let over after finishing my project. Shorter lengths would make shipping costs a lot lower too (motor carrier). If you order I might suggest that you talk to a representative so you don't forget some components like I did.I had to place a 2nd order to get sleeves and some cable passivization. I had also forgotten to order a top rail cover but will not do that since the shipping cost would be more than the cost of the rails. The other issue I had was that the motor carrier delivered my parts to the billing address and not to the location where I was building my new home.

  This was our first time ordering from Stainless Cable Railing and we were very happy with the complete process.   There were a few hiccups with delivery and meterials, but everything was sort out by the team well. My recommendation would be SC&R could include a few spare hardware parts, because during construction things could happen and I was running 1-2 bolts/washers/screws/brackets short a few times.

  I researched many websites, made several phone calls, and received 4 different quotes for cable railing on our deck we recently replaced. The web site and information from SC&R was great and the best quote received. I was somewhat skeptical ordering online because cable railing is very expensive, but my experience was excellent with Kara and Aaron. They made confirming the shop drawings and ordering easy. The delivery was quicker than expected and the packaging of products was exceptional. There were a couple parts needing added and customer service was also excellent, receiving them in 3 days. Installing cable railing does require some special tools and skills. Being a Retired Carpenter and Maintenance Worker helped with this. I am very satisfied with SC&R and their product and the final project ended much better than expected. I give them 5 STARS and would recommend this Company to Friends.
