  The staff were very polite and helpful. After my order was placed, UPS had problems delivering and providing status for my delivery. I called Sound of Tristate and contacted UPS for me and my package was delivered on time. I highly recommend them.

  I purchased a $1200 navigation system. Sent an email and asked if there was anything else I needed to install it in my Jeep. Never received a response to my email. So I had to purchase the additional parts from Crutchfield to complete the installation. I will be shopping at Crutchfield from now on.

  This review is based on shipping and customer service, not the product. Sound of TRI-State does not ship to Hawaii or even offer an option for the consumer to pay for shipping to Hawaii. Hawaii is a part of the United States and most companies offer shipping options. With that said, when I reached out to see if we could find a work around my experience was less than satisfying...take it or leave it kind of attitude. It also took days to actually connect. So I ended up having the item shipped to family in Oregon, then taken to a UPS facility where I paid $160 to ship a $149 item...ridiculous? Of course it is. I made the choice and I own it...don’t regret it for my daughter’s only Christmas request. However, I have to speak up to companies that don’t ship to Hawaii. We live on an island...everything has to be shipped here. Please don’t make it impossible to shop from you. Thanks for hearing me.

  Well I purchased the Pioneer MVH-S622BS, and thought I was getting an average deal. Yep I got the average deal! I found the same Pioneer unit for less and it had a feature that sounds of state didn’t offer? Sounds of State did not offer any discount for Military or First Responders? Yep average!

  Two bike had sound systems installed, problems with each install when we got the bikes back. One had blown fuse which killed the light and gauges. The other has the disconnects installed inside of the saddlebags, you can no longer remove the bags. QC was very bad on both jobs. So glad i put my radio in myself. Love the radio. Do not trust the service. very low quality there. buy your system and just do it yourself.

  I patronize the Dover store only. Jaime, Bobby and Scottie know me well. I've had several jobs done by Scottie who is always thorough and willing to take time to work with me with any issues. The store NEEDS more technicians. I'm impatient but I DO WAIT for weeks at a time to have work done on my car. That's a corporate issue. Whatever Scottie is paid, isn't enough. And, no, I'm not related to him. I sue hope this communication makes it back to these Dover guys. They deserve high praise and a high raise.

  I was verbally quoted less than I paid in the end. Markups on the stereo and the backup camera were higher than expected. Stereo has a gap between the bezel and the dash board that I now have to find something the fill it with.

  I was referred here by my cousin and they did not disappoint! I got a remote start for my boyfriend’s new car, and I don’t know the first thing about them. They took the time out of their day to go over the different one’s they offer and which would benefit him more depending upon where he mostly parks for work, etc. We dropped off early in the morning on his appointment date and got it back later that afternoon. My boyfriend is pleased, and I’m super happy all around! Thank you guys for your time and patience!!

  This was one of the only places I could find the Kenwood radio I wanted. My radio does have an issue, but since I spent $900 and Radios are non-existent because of the chip shortage, I just chose to deal with it. No issues however, with SOTS.

  Although my request for service was minor, battery in remote start; the service was more than acceptable. I was given first class treatment, for a minor purchase and I'm more than satisfied.   Mike said he would help me with a personal connectivity issue involving my own phone with my new installed radio. He rsaid he would reach out to someone that had a similar experience and get back to me Mon. He did just that! I figured it in the between time but I appreciate that he did what he said he would. Dependable.

  I have been working with sound of tri-state for at least 20 years. I have my Family go to them friends go to them and even co-workers go to them. they are the Best. Awesome staff great prices and the service that they offer can`t be touched by Anyone.
