  Initial service was good. The following day my brother informed me that he had the very items I purchased. I inquired about a return and was informed that I would only be able to receive a store credit. this in my opinion is not good treatment of a customer.

  If you call first tell them what you plan on having done they will ask a few questions, tell you if they can do whatever it is you want done ( that way save you a trip ) but hey there is not to much these guys cannot do ! And they are very friendly and they can go VERY VERY HIGH TEC.if that is what you are looking for or just normal they will not try and have you spending more than you need or more than you want. So do your self a favor and if need a up grade or just want to get a safety cam or anything check them out

  I recently had the Pioneer NEX CarPlay head-unit installed in my car by Sound of TriState, and I am beyond pleased with both the service and the installation experience. The front desk person took the time to understand my specific needs and preferences for the head unit, answering all of my questions and providing helpful advice. They made sure I was informed about the different models and options available, ultimately guiding me to the Pioneer NEX CarPlay head unit, which has been an excellent choice. The team was responsive via phone and email, and they worked with my schedule to set up a convenient time for installation. The technicians at Sound of TriState took their time to ensure that everything was wired properly and that the head unit was securely mounted in my car. During installation there was a small issue with connecting my side mirror camera so we need to upgrade the NEX head unit to higher model but they were generous to give a discount The wiring was cleanly done, with no exposed cables or clutter. Everything was routed neatly, and the unit was installed seamlessly, maintaining the aesthetic of my car’s interior. They also made sure the head unit completely adjusted audio settings and ensuring that CarPlay integration worked perfectly. Once the installation was complete, the technicians walked me through the new features of the Pioneer NEX head unit, showing me how to use Apple CarPlay, set up Bluetooth, and adjust the audio settings. They also offered support in case I had any issues after the installation. After few days my car play maps started behaving odd and showing the car is 400 meters away from where I am actually located. it was nightmare driving on highway with inaccurate directions... contact the after support and they were quickly identify the root cause and fixed an appointment to correct it. after fixing the maps works like champ. I couldn't be happier with the installation service provided by Sound of TriState but also the after-sales support was impeccable. The Pioneer NEX head unit looks and functions perfectly. If you're looking for a professional, reliable, and knowledgeable team to install your car's electronics, I highly recommend Sound of TriState. They truly exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely turn to them for any future car audio or electronics upgrades. The installation of the Pioneer NEX CarPlay head unit has transformed my in-car experience Great service, great people, and a fantastic result!

  I bought several refurbished Kenwood and JBL products from Sound of TriState. Their prices allowed me to purchase top-tier items at mid-tier prices. They were extremely responsive and provided excellent support. The products were exactly like new and all have performed excellently. I could not be happier with Sound of TriState!

  So I purchased an item and there was a form asking if it was listed cheaper elsewhere. It indeed was cheaper on the MANUFACTURER'S website. However they rejected it (*gasp*) because there excuse? IT WAS OUT OF STOCK. LOL! You guys are so silly. Please other potential customers, don't be fooled by these guys. I would recommend you look elsewhere for your audio needs. These guys provide no customer service at all and are only out to make you spend x2 in this economy? Get real.

  You are absolutely right about "this economy" we have to pay enormous shipping fees, labor and packaging now (of which you are not paying shipping fees on our website) on small plugs like that PLUS the manufacturer charges us the SAME amount for that plug as they charge to you - they do not give us discounts on plugs. We have to cover storage, packaging and labor expenses. It's not free for us to process your order. To stay in business, yes, we cannot match the manufacturers price on their out of stock item in which they too charge you shipping fees (so what you see on their site is not actually what you pay, you would still have shipping fees to pay). You didn't buy it from them, why? because they didn't have it, they probably don't have it because its not cost effective for them to pay $15 to ship a $49.99 item. You paid $69.99 on it through us. While we appreciate you supporting small businesses the negative feedback makes it not even worth it for us to offer anything like this any longer. Good luck finding small items like this, the manufacturers know there's nothing in it for them.

  I’ve had to bring my car back 3 times for issues as far as bubbling, creases and lifting. Each time it hey do make an attempt to correct but there is still bubbling and honestly needs to be fixed again, however, I haven’t had time to make it a fourth attempt. The last two attempts to repair has resulted in scratches on my doors and what appears to be melted droplets of tint or something of all over my hood. Some of the droplets have have actually removed the paint: very frustrated, had zero issues with my previous car.

  Sound of tri-state is an excellent place to get your audio needs taken care of. I have a Harley and they flawlessly installed a stage 3 speaker system on it. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about them. The dudes there are also friendly and courteous! Strongly recommend letting them help ya out!

  Sound of Tri-State did a good job. I love the new radio. I just wish I had know that the radio did not have a Sirius-XM radio built in. It was Sirius-XM "ready" which means I have to mess with my cellphone in order to find stations while driving. I don't think this was made clear or I would have paid for the $80 accessory to make the radio into a Sirius-XM receiver. Can't add it now because the radio would have to be reinstalled to add it. I wish I had the option to add it initially.

  Marlo and the team there are true experts. I got a 2024 jeep Rubicon… first year with the new expanded screed and new dash. They had never done one…. Put in all new speakers added JL Base unit and put a JL amp under the seat. Unbelievable!!! Integrated perfectly and sounds amazing.

  Was looking and browsing for a good priced JL HD1200.1 amp and came across Tri-State I looked them up saw some nice reviews and decided to give them a chance. I live in Hawaii so used that amp is around $900-$1200. Purchased two certified refurbs from Tri-State for $799 each. Received them both less than a week lalter in great condition in original packaging as well. I definitely recommend them.

  I think I was overcharged and bought my Pioneer speakers there before you got another car and because they did not unhook it they charged me $450 to hook it up in my new car I said if I bought the speaker from you why would you charge me that much. I asked for all my windows to be tinted my sunroof wasn't and I'm not sure if my back window was. I understand you paying for labor but if your prior customer there should be some type of an adjustment. I almost paid to have it put in what I paid for the speaker itself. Oh well that's life. Also, the guy that sits up at the desk courtesy desk receptionist that's whatever way you want to call it really needs an attitude adjustment his attitude stinks yes I said it it is not the first time. I'm no dummy when it comes to cars and I should not be treated like one all because you may have to repeat yourself. If that's not the job for you then maybe you should find something else. I'm sure I'm not the first complaint and I know I won't be the last one either.

  Sound of Tristate installed a dashcam for me. They did a good job hiding the wire and securing it to the windshield. Everything is working. Staff was nice. They need to make sure they're not parking cars in front of the wheelchair ramp. I had to ask an employee to move a car so I could get my wheelchair up the ramp. Other than that, everything was great.

  I bought the Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX it works flawlessly. It has a plethora of functions and i love the subwoofer options. I was worried about the fit in a 2004 Nissan Armada, but it cleared just fine. The dash kit for the Armada is not how i would like it to be but i was able to get it flush with a little Dremel work. Simple install all together. Maneuvering the website was very user friendly. Great product and I would recommend this site to friends.
