  I am a ball experimenter. I have played all the big names and most of the direct to consumer, including Vice, Oncore, and Kirkland. They were all OK, but Snell MTB X is a great ball, I think I am playing the best ball on the market and the fact that it’s also $15 to $20 a dozen cheaper is just bonus.

  The Snells are just as good, if not better than ProVs on the course but are a much better value. Just played three rounds plus 16 holes with the same Snell and was really unhappy when I lost it.

  This ball plays as well or better than the PRO-V1. The softer feel is just right, the spin allows control with wedges and workability off the driver and the distance is as good as any I have played.

  I played with these golf balls all of last year and had the most consistent iron shots that I have had in the longest time! I contended in several amature tournaments around my area and closed out my first City-AM title with this golf ball!

  It has a great feel off the driver. I hit a generally low ball and the MTB Black has great top spin which gives me extra distance on the roll out. Nice soft feel off the irons.

  Although I tend to play the red number balls from most manufacturers I find both balls from Snell act about the same in distance and approach shots.I still will probably choose the red number balls.

  I’ve always been a fan of Snell balls. MTB-X is the perfect ball for me. Low spin off the tee and just the right amount spin to the green. The MTB-X gives me an extra 7-10 yards off the driver compared to the Pro V1X. I’m surprised how durable it is, even after hitting the cart path. The best part is the price, cant beat it.

  I am a 3 handicap and made the switch to Snell last year. Really enjoy the balls, distance is outstanding and more than enough spin control around the greens. As comparable with any of the high priced balls for much greater value. Love them!

  From everything I read online I thought I would be best fit with the MTB-X, but I got the sample packs and it turned out that the MTB-X was rolling out on pitch shots and the MTB Black was either checking up or even biting backwards. So I ordered 10 dozen of the MTB Black in the Optic Yellow. I have since played about 8 rounds with them and they preform really well. If they came in Optic Orange I would be very happy. Great product, great price!

  I have been playing Snell golf balls for 3 years now. The new MTB-X have been as advertised for me. I'm a 9 handicap and for me they perform as well as any of the other fop name brands out there. They seem to have a little less spin off the driver, but plenty of spin off short irons, and around the greens.

  I was given a sleeve of the MTB-X from a customer of mine that I had introduced to Snell golf. On the 3rd hole of using this golf ball after using the Snell Tour, Snell Black for a few years I hit a 147 yard tee shot into a par 3 that hit about 3 feet from the pin took 1 bounce and sucked back into the hole for a hole in one. The first I have had since 2004. Thank you Snell Golf

  Great ball. Not interested in paying pros contracts , free balls and advertising , When your gettingall these perks it doesn't make sense to spend the money. MTB X ball or the MTB Blackare equally as good as any of the Pro V's , Taylormade TP balls etc. Played them all. If you haven't tested the Snell ball you should put that on your list.   Simply cannot be beaten, especially for the price. Go ahead and buy 5 dozen, because once you make the switch, you won’t play anything else.Serious note on quality control: I’m that guy who floats every ball in Epsom salts to find the balance point and make sure I’m playing a consistent ball. I’ve floated six dozen of these, and I’ve never found a bad one. They’re all exactly as I’d expect: a tour ball at a great price.

  Every bit as good as ""best"" balls on the market. I like it because it flies higher than other balls with the driver and provides a more ""boring"" ball flight which produces more roll and distance, especially in hotter weather. Stops as well as any ball on the greens too.

  I bought 3 dozen of the Snell MTB-X. I could not believe the distance and feel of these balls. I am 74 yrs old and am getting 25 more yards in distance. I can hardly believe it. Regularly hitting drives of 240-245. And, have hit one 275 when it was dry and when wet hit a drive I could not find in the middle of the fairway. We finally found the ball PLUGGED 260 yards from the tee box where I hit it. I could hardly believe it but it is true. These balls a longer than the ProVs I normally hit. From now on I will buy only the Snell MTB-X.I am an 8 handicap and expect to get a little lower now.These Snell golf balls have made a believe out of me.Those who have never watched MYGOLFSPY are missing out on some great information.   I’m enjoying the Snell MTB-X yellow ball. It seems like a good all around ball. My only complaint is that the yellow paint seems to chip off easier than the white ones. For the price this is an excellent ball.

  I liked the white version but I am very disappointed with the yellow as the color comes off and leaves white underneath. I have never had this issue with Pro V1 or Chrome soft yellow balls. Not Happy, I purchased 2 dozen. I used 2 different sleeves to verify but both sleeves peeled the paint and I will not be using them again

  I have converted a lot of my playing partners to MTBs. I never thought I would use a yellow ball but I now prefer that color. The MTBs perform as well as their more expensive equivalents and I plan on depositing a few in the Irish dunes of Ballybunion ,Lahinch, etc this summer. A few locals will benefit from my errant shots and Snells will become popular in the ""Ol Sod""

  The Cost vs Performance of the Snell MTB-X golf ball is everything I would expect from a $50 golf but at much lower price point. The coloring of yellow version is very vibrant more so than others brand. Feel, distance and spin is on or above par with other premium golfs I've used in the past. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a golf that performs similar to other premium golf balls in the segment, you need to try the Snell MTB product line.

  I've played snell golf balls since their inception.(formerly a Pro-V fan) I have to admit that I use both the X and Black. I've found that I get longer distances with the X and more spin with the Black. Great products at an unbeatable price. Keep up the good work Dean!

  You really can't go wrong here. You a great golf ball and only pay for the ball not advertising for everybody else. Can't see why everyone doesn't do this!

  I like the spin I get on my approach shots. My approach shots stop within a couple feet of where it lands, even with my mid irons.

  By far this ball is the best for all levels of golfers. The low driver spin really helps keep the ball straight, the soft feel around the greens is wonderful. It is easy to control the spin for the shot you want.

  I chose Snell because my neighbor who plays at Sleepy Hollow swears by them. I play in Jupiter with a group of single digit handicappers which includes a couple of + players who all play the predictable Titleist, Callaway and Taylor Made options. Snell MTB-X is almost always the longest off the tee. Try them and you see!

  The Get Sum is probably underrated because many are looking for a urethane ball. I'll just say that I don't need a high spin ball as often as a straight ball that also rolls predictably in the short game. Leave the ego behind and try these.

  The MTB black is my new favorite! Being a mid-handicapper, I'm looking for any advantage, and I've found it. These balls have a great feel and perform extremely well. I'll take these over anything else on the market and I'm stoked to place my next order!

  This product is a great alternative for those not looking to spend big bucks on the top tier name brands of the game. As a mid handicap player I’ve enjoyed utilizing this golf ball as a constant variable to help myself develop multiple aspects of my game. It’s been helpful with practicing putting and short game especially. This is a great product which is why I’m a repeat customer and why I’m writing this review for others to see.

  I really like the look, style and feel of the hat but I had an issue with the seams. About a month after owning the hat, the seam where the stripped pattern meets the gray of the inside separated and has gotten worse ever since. I do not wear the hat anymore because of this issue

  Both the MTB Black and the MTB-X are excellent golf balls. They are every bit as good as, if not better than, the super-premium $45 to $50 per dozen ""big name"" balls. I slightly favor the MTB-X, but I could be perfectly happy to play the MTB Black, as well. For me, distance is a bit better with the MTB-X, and I prefer the feel of the MTB-X around and on the greens. However, the MTB Black is pretty close to the MTB-X. I just happen to prefer the firmer feel, and increased short iron and wedge backspin of the MTB-X.
