I play Taylormade Lethal's and this ball is as good as that ball and less money to boot! It is my new favorite ball!

Was playing Callaway Chrome soft but this ball is much better. Great distance with excellent green side manners. I will definitely be ordering more and I think my playing group will become customers too.

Normally play the Pro-V1x or the Callaway Chrome soft so I can get better action around the Greens. The new Snell ""My tour ball"" is the best of both worlds. Hit my 5 iron pin high 205 yards today. I'm ordering more balls today. Can't beat this price for this quality ball.

This ball works great for me off the tee, less spin than a multi layered ball.

Just ordered two dozen after reading about them on mygolfspy! Hopefully the snow melts by the time they arrive and I can have the chance to game them right away. Everybody at my club has been talking about/inquiring about these new balls.

Myself and 3 friends from my local club bought 2 dozen of these between us to try out. After the first round with the My Tour Ball we were all very pleasantly surprised by how good they were and ordered another 5 dozen on the Father's Day special. We have all played to handicaps from scratch to mid single figures and prefer the feel and performance of tour quality balls, but balk at paying $45 for a dozen and thus tend to be looking for end of year bargains. At the $45-$50 price range all the manufacturers produce a very good product and it just comes down to individual preferences on feel, launch and spin. When other golfers saw the Snell balls and heard the story behind them I got requests to order another 15 dozen! The feedback has been unanimous: fantastic tour quality product that matches or surpasses their favorite high end ball. With the Father's Day special pricing these are simply the best golf balls for the money that any of us have ever played, period. Thank you for making such a superior product available at a reasonable price.

Dean this golf ball is great! The first tournament I played this year I used it and I placed 2nd. Two days later I played in another tournament and I won. This was the first tournament I have ever won. The short game control I got with this ball was outstanding and the distance was great as well. The price was what made this ball so special. You have managed to make a tour quality golf ball for such a great price and that really helps me out so much. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

After reading about this new ball I figured I would try them. Not one for writing a review but I love the ball. I think Dean Snell rolled all his best ideas into one. I was very impressed with the feel and the distance is for sure longer. I placed my order and they were at my door two day later. After first round got home and ordered two more dozen. And for almost half the price of the number one ball that will soon be the number two ball.

Played the My Tour Ball for the first time this past weekend and all I can say is WOW ! My goal at the beginning of the season was to break 90, the first round using the MTB I shot an 86 ! Coincidence ? Maybe, but I do truly believe this ball had something to do with it. To compare, I've been switching between Callaway Chromesoft and Supersoft, Wilson Duo and Bridgestone E5 and the MTB blows them away ! Off the tee I noticed a much better trajectory than I've been seeing with the other balls, distance was similar, perhaps a few yards longer. Where I noticed a significant difference was with the short game, from maybe 120 yards and closer. I never have been able to get the ball to check up and stop on the green, at least not until this past weekend ! The MTB would take a short bounce or two and just stop dead, no more bounce and roll and roll and roll right off the green. This aspect alone I'm sure saved me a few strokes. Give this ball a try, you won't be disappointed. Matter of fact, I was logging on to order another dozen and decided to leave a review since I was so pleased with the performance of this ball. Thanks Dean !!

WOW, Just got off the course and I shot 1 over from 6400 yards. This ball is long off the tee and stops on a dime and gives change. I can't think of another ball that can do this and I tell you I have used them all.Great product, great price it's almost like a gift to my game. PS I'am 65 years old I just can't believe what it 's done for my game ...

SOLD! I received my first dozen My Tour Balls last weekend. Got to play my first round with them yesterday. I also gave a sleeve to a friend. He couldn't tell the difference between these and the prov1. I got soft feel, great spin around the greens, and great feel off my putter. After tax, this ball is $20 less than other tour balls. You now have another loyal customer.

I found a Snell My Tour ball on my course and put it in my bag. After that I saw an article about the Snell ball and remembered I had one. Normally I am 10 to 15 yards shorter on my drives then the longest hitter in our group. The day I used your ball I out drove everybody all day.I am now waiting on my order for some new balls.

I purchased the intro dozen of the Snell golf balls some time ago and just have not placed them into play until today. Last week on the last hole of the day I decided to try the My Tour Golf Ball. A short hole but teeing off with my hybrid created a nice flight trajectory and great feel. I decided to use the ball today at our men's club tourney. I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised! My drives from the first hole and on through the round were fantastic hitting my longest drive of 272 yards on the 3rd hole. I generally drive the ball around 250 yards with the longer ball at 260 yards. The important note here is this was a round that started in the morning and the course was vey wet. The drive landed marking a divot on the grass with less than a 10 yard run. WOW! I must add I am 70m years old. so for me and my fellow players the were in all of all the drives today and mention only young players hit the ball with that kind of distance. Obviously I loved that comment and want to thank Mr. Snell! The feel and the stopping ability when hitting the greens was terrific! I have been using Pro V1's and Taylormade Preferred golf balls. It seems it will be an easy switch to Snell MYTour Golf Balls.I am going to love telling the Snell story to other golf club members into the days forward. Thanks Dean!!

I ordered my 1st dozen of the My Tour Balls 3 weeks ago. I played in my Club's Net Championship and shot my career best round on Sunday, 77, to win the Championship. Not saying the ball is the reason I won was the My Tour Ball but it had to help. After playing one wound with the My Tour Ball the week before the tournament I gained so much confidence in the ball and then wet out and posted a Gross 160, Net 124, for the two day tournament. Thanks Dean! I am a customer for life!

I am a scratch golfer and am very particular when it comes to the golf ball I play. I have switched balls only twice in the last 8 years but I try out all the new 'tour' balls every spring. It just takes a lot to get me to consider switching. My current go-to ball in the Z-Star XV and have been very happy. I got in 9 holes last night with my dad and wanted to try out the My Tour Ball. I played the first 3 holes with the XV to get a 'normal' feel then on hole 4 put down the Snell. After 3 holes I was 1 over. With the Snell I birdied 4 of my next 5 holes and hit a couple of my longest drives of the year. I couldn't believe how much distance I was getting with a ball that also spun that well around the greens. It also feels very solid coming off the putter face. It is hard to say every good thing about this ball. You will just have to try it. The one and only bad thing I saw was the Snell logo started to wear off a little. Will be interesting to see the ball's durability considering I have only played it once but the rest of the ball looks very good. Needless to say I will be teeing off with the Snell the next time I play! Thanks Dean!

Awesome ball! I have been gaming the TM TourPreferred X and will now game the Snell My Tour. I found it to be just as long as the TM TPx off the tee. It seemed to also reduce my fade (trending towards a slice) with my irons while still sticking on the green. It putted well and has a nice feel off the club face. Snell has a new customer.

I'm along time Titleist player, specifically the ProV1X. Playing 1.5 rounds a week and averaging 2 balls per round adds up cost wise. I've played 2 rounds now with Snell's MyTour ball and have nothing but positives to say. For context, I play to an 8 index. This ball has amazing control with the driver and the irons. Low spin off the driver and irons are point and shoot accurate. You think a distance and the ball just does it. I've noticed I've picked up 6-8 yards with my irons and my distance control is more consistent front to back. 68% GIR in 2 rounds with these balls(up 15%) from my norm. Snell balls feel very similar to the regular ProV1 off the putter. Sometimes when a ball has a softer core, it can almost sound too soft/hollow, but the Snell ball is just firm enough to provide that positive feedback off the putter. I just ordered 6 dozen with the package deal on Snell's website for $26.99 a box. Amazing deal. I will play these balls as long as they make them. Wedge Play. There is more spin than most, but I do personally think it's roughly 5-10% less than a ProV1X. Granted, I've only got 2 rounds in with these balls. But chip and pitch shots seem to have a little more roll out/less check. It's by no means unpredictable or bad, it's just different than what I'm used to. Great Ball!!! Soft feel, long off the driver, holds the line, stops nicely, feels great off putter. Super impressed. Coming from a Bridgestone B220S, which is also a great ball, but this is better in all ways. Price is just a bonus. I am won over after only 2 sleeves into my first dozen. I just bought two more dozens so I don't run out. Nice work!

I knew this was a great ball when I played a lob wedge from the rough and one of my playing partners said that I almost holed it twice on the shot. Once on the first bounce then again as it spun back past the hole. Did I mention that the shot was from the rough? Great ball - great feel - great price - great service.

My Tour Ball - It's the real deal. I'm a 7 handicap. I play(ed) pro v1x's for years. Dean's ball JUMPS off the face. I've been called a long hitter, these are - I'm not exaggerating - 12 to 15 yards longer than pro v1x's. Soft around the greens too. I generally spin the ball too much with pro v's and these seem to spin a little bit less but still offer a lot of control. I can easily hit the low spinner into a green and have it 1 hop stop. I'm ordering my third dozen today and I have my friends convinced as well. I am over joyed with the price. I also like the hand written thank you from Mr. Snell. My only complaint is the name ""My Tour Ball"". How about ""Snell Tour""? THANKS!

Great ball. Reminds me of the old Pro V1 from a few years back. Very soft around the greens and the old school feel off the putter face. Compresses nicely and it just as long or not longer than the tour balls currently on the market. Been reading about it and a friend gave me one to play over the weekend. Played with one ball the entire round and it had no scuffs from the wedge shots. Just placed an order for a dozen!! Please do not stop producing these balls. Oh yeah, great value!!

These are nice balls and very comparable to Bridgestone rx 330 series and other high end balls like Prov1. They are around 6-15 dollars cheaper but the shipping on these things is absurd. I ordered from a third party the first time i got them within a few days. I ordered them from this website a week ago and they won't arrive for another 2-3 days. If you pay for expedited shipping you are basically sitting at the price for Prov1s or other similar balls. Can you get these in to a retail shop or do something about your shipping? It is partially my fault i should of read the fine print on shipping which is fed ex smart post or the equivalent of walking the package to my house. Nice product but not sure its worth the hassle to play over other similar balls. I would recommend but buy from third party with a little better shipping.

Played this ball all Summer after reading about them on mygolfspy. Loved them immediately. I usually play the ProV1x or the TaylorMade Penta so naturally once I read Dean was the co-founder of those balls I wanted to try these. On August 28th, 2015 I had the greatest golfing round of my life, shooting 68 with a hole-in-one! I am about a 4 handicap and had never broken par, and only shot par once before. It was a memorable day, both for the golf and because I later found out my Mother passed that evening. I am convinced my Father, who loved golf but never broke 80 or had a hole-in-one, played in a hand in my round because he knew he was calling Mom home to be with him again. Looking forward to another season playng this ball. One suggestion - change the font on the ball to make it more subtle.

I'll start off with how I don't usually write reviews but I have to for this ball. I've been hitting pro v1s for years. Heard good things about this ball and decided why not give it a try. I cannot say enough good things. It feels solid off the tee and even what I feel as a miss doesn't end up near as bad as what I think is coming. Irons feel true and have consistent spin on the greens. I will be buying Snells from hear on out.

Played the My Tour Ball over the past week and found the ball to be sneaky long. Held up good to wedge shots without a lot of damage to the cover. These seem to be a little more firm than what I normally play. Must admit that I was using the ball in 45 degree weather and that might something to do with it. It generated some discussions in my group. These are the real deal and dollar for dollar exceed other choices.

I am thoroughly impressed. I've been playing ProV1X all summer. I play to a 5.0 hdcp trending to 4.4 after my first round (73) with Snell Excellent greenside control. I had some really nice up and downs. Distance is comparable, if not a touch longer. I hit it through the fairway on a line I'm normally safe on. Also hit my second on a Par 5 fully expecting to run it up on the green, but I carried it to the green and it stopped. (5wood from 244) No short drives, like I had when I tried chrome soft. Durability is great, played same ball for 18 holes. Wish I could show a picture. I will tee same ball up again. Has a couple small nicks, but nothing making it shag bag material, yet. At the start of the round my playing partner, jokingly said, ""Oh, you're playing those Snell balls, haha."" At the end of the round both him and I knew they were the real deal.

I don't normally post reviews on anything, tv's, tires, clubs, golf balls, anything. But I felt the need to review the my tour ball that I ordered. My normal gamer is a pro v1, My first tee shot with it was a laser it probably didn't vary more then a yard or 2 in either direction, soft feel off the club face IMO off of my 913 D2, Iron and wedge play I felt were amazing, Par 3 - 7 iron felt like butter and had a perfect amount of spin to be pin high, Mizuno T5 56* (my favorite club) one hop and stop great feel and a very confident shot, probably my favorite thing about the ball was its feel off the putter face, it didn't have the hard click like a 1x at all, in certain strokes it felt softer then a regular prov. The personalized written invoice from dean was a nice touch and something I enjoyed. Only suggestion I have which I know has been addressed is id like a little smaller logo, I like it, but just a little smaller and more subtle. Performance wise tho, honestly for the price point i dont know if ill ever play a prov1 again unless I find one in the woods or use at the start of a cold round. Will be ordering a few more dozen to give away as xmas gifts for friends to try too. A really great ball.

This is a great ball. A little background, I'm roughly a 3-4 handicap with a decent swing speed, 110-120. For me the ball does everything you've read about. Current weather conditions are high 30s to mid 50s so it is difficult to state ""true"" distance, but the ball is live, long and feels great. I've have stopped downwind 7 irons within 4 ft and no wind 195 yd 5 irons within 18 inches - that is a tour caliber ball. I will be switching to this ball on a regular basis.

Like many, trolling through the review before making a purchase, I wanted to share my story. Two weeks ago I purchased a box of My Tour Ball, I felt the ball was performing exceptionally well around the greens (<175 yards). The spin of the ball was greater than I had been experiencing. As a sceptic, I decided to perform a little experiment. I would alternate balls on every other hole. Regardless if it was the swing or “my higher expectation” I noticed a huge difference. I highly recommend this ball. On a side note, my current handicap is about a 16. My last three rounds (with MTB), I scored 84, 86, and 80. Yes a 80!, my lowest in 20 years. Needless to say, I have found my new ball. ps. You may not want to share with your playing threesome.

Read about these on the Spy forums, figured I'd give them a shot. Normally play a mix of Z-Star, Chrome, and Pro V1. I play to a 16 currently and hit the ball quite far, but my short game and accuracy off the tee has been quite inconsistent. I've played four 18 hole rounds so far with the MTB and am blown away. I honestly don't think I will play another ball as long as these are at the same price point and readily available. My drives have been long and have been going in the general direction that I prefer. The low spinning ball carries with plenty of roll and I'm not one to say that I've gained yards or anything like that, but I can say that my drives have just been downright better. I'm still experimenting with the ball and how much it spins on approach, but I'm sure I'll figure it out soon. Had 132 to the flag the other day, hit a gap wedge to about 3 feet, but the ball spun back about 9 feet off the green. Then hit a 98 yard shot with my 60 about 4 holes later into a sloped green, hit once and stopped about 8 inches from the pitch mark. What I'm trying to say is that if you have the skill to hit the shots (which I do not yet), this ball is easy to manipulate and will do anything you tell it to...there haven't been too many surprises for me. In an 18 hole round the ball only scuffed once and it was on a full 60 wedge shot. Believe the hype and try this ball - you won't be disappointed. Keep the price and quality the same, Dean and you will have a lifetime customer. Thanks.

I bought this ball hoping to find a decent ball for less money. What I got was the best performance golf ball on the market. The value price is a plus. You should buy this ball for it's quality more than it's value.

""The Best Ball Ever"" ! How another company could claim that.... I used to play the B330S ball up to this year. Switched to the Z-Star after the disappointment from Bridgestone. Up to this point I thought I could never switch from the Z-Star, one of the most stable ball flights I have ever experienced, whether playing in windy Conditions or not. When the 2016 Golf Digest Hot List for Golf Balls came out, I thought I'd give a look, and I'm glad I did. The very last page produced a chart of spin rates and launch angles for a 40 yard pitch. nestled within this grouping of premium golf balls was this golf ball called Snell MTB, I just had to research. After digging in a bit to see what Snell Golf was and who Dean Snell is... I just had to try. Ordered a dozen for comparison against the Z-Star. Went out to play on a windy day in Florida, the MTB was just as stable, as good of feel, incredible around the greens, and a bit longer than the Z-Star. I bought 6 more dozen... ""The Best Ball Ever"" at any price point !

Outstanding golf ball. Totally a convert. I always liked the Taylormade products Snell had worked on so I gave this a try. I find it even better than TM or Titliest, as a mid-handicapper, outstanding performance and feel. I do wish there was a yellow option or a little better price if you bought in bulk. But I will be buying these form now on. Great idea and product for regular joe golfers!

Awesome ball! From tee to green this ball is great. Distance and control off the tee is excellent. Around the green the ball does exactly what I want. I was also impressed on the feel when putting. Not even considering price, it is a much better ball than Pro V1 and B330.

I played Bridgestone B330 and Titleist Pro V1. After playing three rounds with the Snell My Tour ball there was no comparison. Off the tee and from long to medium irons the Snell My Tour ball was very workable. Around the green the ball landed soft with a lob and had exceptional spin when needed. I have ordered seven dozen balls with the majority going to friends and my men's association. As a six handicap retired pastor, I know it is better to give than receive however, it is time they bought their own. With the Arizona heat, I generally take a ball out of play after three rounds. Dean, don't rest on your laurels, as other golf ball manufacturers are always trying to build a better ball.

I've played three rounds with MTB Snell. I am a 2 handicapper and previously played the Pro V1x. I honestly cannot tell the difference between the two. Even the simple pattern is the same. I have not had any durability issues with this ball. I've played with the same exact ball until losing it on the 16th hole of my third round. It hit cart paths and trees. Other than a little mark here and there, the ball did not have a cut or lose any of its integrity. The ball performed the same with the first shot as it did with the last. Once you get past your ego of saying you are playing a Pro V1, you are just wasting money. Play this ball.

I was amaze with snell golf ball, it gave me extra 10-15 yards with my driver and the best thing about these golf ball they are better than ProV1/ProV1x inside 100 yrds or less. I almost have a hole in one on the 9th hole 130 yrds out, i was 12 inches from the hole. The snell golf ball is ""AWESOMENESS"". I already recommend the snell golf ball to all my golf buddies. I got with this ball was outstanding and the distance was great as well. The price was what made this ball so special. Made the switch to the MTB from Bridgestone B330. Have given several of my buddies and playing partners a sleeve of MTB's to try. All are now former PROV1x players. Longer off the tee, great feel off the irons and wedges, excellent on the greens and durable. As good (actually.......better, as far as I am concerned) as any ball on the market. And the price..............cannot beat the MTB.

These balls are amazing. They are very long off the tee and they feel amazing around the greens. They are identical to the ProV1 and ProV1x obviously, but for a lot less money. The only problem I have is that it is taking them around 11-12 days to ship from them to my house. I can't really complain since it is free shipping but that is a really long time to wait especially when you order two dozen balls and have a tournament 10 days out but your balls won't arrive in time to use them.

I was reading Golf Digest, and I was very intrigued when I saw the spin rates of Snell golf balls vs. their much more expensive competitors. So, I ordered these new Optic Yellow Get Sums and I love them! The spin I generated around the greens was very comparable to Callaway Chrome Softs, or other balls in its class. Get Sum is also very long, just as long as a ProV1x or B330S. My dad will be getting some of these for Father's Day, A golf ball!

I may have been one of the first to try the mytourball when they first came out, I was excited to try them when I first heard about them. I will be honest my first time out with them about a year or so ago, I was not 100% sold on them. I think part of the reason was my game was off. They flew nice and long, but at first I thought the play off the irons and wedges were just ok. I kept going back to my other two gamer balls I used (Chrome Soft and B330 Tour). But I always keep hitting the MTB every now and again just to see. Finally at the beginning of this year I got my swing inline and really started to hit the ball well. I kept my regular two ball rotation and again would go back to the MTB at times. I really started to see the difference in the wedges and irons. I can get the B330 to spin back a bit and the Chrome Soft to just sit and check. Neither was super special, but worked well for me. Now with the MTB I really started to spin the ball back when needed and check it when needed. I found a ball that can really do it all for me. After using the MTB on occasion the last year or so, I am going to make the change and play solely MTB. I have even switched some other ball loyalists to the MTB and they are happy they did. I am only mad at myself for not making the complete switch sooner. Thanks Dean and everyone at Snell for making such a great product at a price the masses can afford and enjoy.

Much softer feel off all clubs and very durable. I love what Dean's doing here and I've been spreading the good word about the MTB here in Chicago. I normally play last years models due to price consideration. Just because a ball is a year old doesn't mean it won't perform just like it did a year ago. I was usually spending 30 a dozen for ProV1x or whatever else was on sale be it Bridgestone's or Srixons. I tried the MTB when My Golf Spy reviewed them and have never looked back. I bought a couple of dozen last year and went through them with normal play. They are as good as any of the other balls I have played and since I can get them at 26 bucks a dozen they are the winners.I ordered the 6 dozen to get to that price, but since I have no problem playing balls that are a year old the fact that I will still be using them next year doesn't bother me. If you don't want that many the find a friend to split the 6 dozen with.Am I good enough to tell a difference between the different tour balls? Maybe not, but these are doing everything that the other balls I played did so I'm happy.

Am wintering in AZ and played with a young man who hits the ball a mile. I asked him what he was hitting and he said Snell, well I was sure it was an illegal ball, it sounded so good and went so far. I gave him some crap, imagine that, just to find out they are legal. so I got home and went to the Snell website and ordered 6 doz. I then went to a 3 day outing with 15 other hackers and they all wanted a ball, so instead of hearing some almost adults complain, I handed out Snell to these crybabies. ( All over 60 yr old.) I would be amazed if Snell does not get multiple orders from this! Even the asst pro in the Raven told the guys that the Snell was a great ball. now if Snell could come up with a putter!

I bought the my tour ball based on reviews I've read. Quite honestly if someone stripped the paint and wrote pro-v1 I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I switched from pro-v1's to snell and just bought 6 dozen which ended up costing about $2.19 per ball with the same performance as the prov1 which is about $4 per ball. I haven't confirmed with launch monitor numbers but I'd say its just as long as the pro-v1 with driver and has a similar soft feel as well, maybe even a little softer which I personally like for short game shots. Performance as good as PROV-1 for nearly 1/2 the price, no brainer.

I recently ordered 6 dozen of the Get Sums based on reviews I had read. These balls to me are are better than the so called ""premium balls"".I'm getting about 10- 15 yards extra distance from my driver, and a straighter ball flight. This ball has a great feel off the club head. On the greens, there's not much rollout, can get the ball to hop and stop. Feels great off the putter head and rolls true. I had the pleasure of meeting Dean at a Taylormade event in Potomac Falls VA that my club pro took me to a couple years. Listening to his presentation on golf ball design and the truths and myths was very enlightening. Once I found out that he started his own company I had no choice but to pick up 6dz and happy that I did. These balls have hit a sweet spot for me. I feel they fly just as far as my previous ball off the driver and feel soft on the greens without loosing the feel of the ball. What I love is, for me, they spin just a bit less on full wedge shots and perform great from the 30-50 yard range. The price point is certainly a bonus at 26 per dz (6 dz pack) and I hope that you can keep it this way. I think that lower handicap golfers like myself will struggle more with their ego of not playing a tour name ball but trust me if you give it a try you will not regret it. I now have a few of my friends playing this ball and they love it as well.

I was excited to try this ball. As a small business owner myself, I love supporting people that took the risk to go out on their own. Ball performance, or at least perceived performance, does vary by golfer. Thus, here is my info: Driver swing speed range usually 97 to 105. Solid ball striker, and terrible putter. Played a couple rounds with MTB and compared to Pro V1 and X Practice Balls and Nike RZN Tour Platinum. I experienced shorter driving distance with MTB as the two other balls. 125 yards and closer, the balls seems similar to Pro V1x. I didn't see the backspin I usually get from V. There were few times that I was surprised how short the distance was though. These were solid full wedge shots, little wind, that came up a a good 10-15 yards or so short of where a Pro-V1 would be. This is not something I see with the other 2 tour balls I play.In general, I think this is a solid ball at a fair price. I'm a bit concerned with how a couple of balls in the box performed. I get Pro V1 Practice Balls for $29.99, so that is a better option for me. I would love to see Mr. Snell's company succeed and continue to come up with newer options. I think the MTB is worth trying, but I'm personally going to wait until his next model is out before buying another box.

I started using Snell balls with the purchase of the My Tour ball. Absolutely love them, but that is for another review. I found myself playing with my wife who plays the Get Sum and kept telling me how great they were. I retrieved her and my ball out of the hole and by mistake gave her my ball and tee'd up hers instead of mine. When I hit it, it shot of the driver and I it sort of caught me off guard. When I got to the ball, I realized it was hers and not mine. I went ahead and finished out the hole, but the second shot was just as amazing. It hit the green, bounced once, and stuck. Most impressive. So, now, I play the Get Sum ball unless I am playing in a tournament or with my regular group when I still tee the My Tour up. Check out the ball chart in the MyGolfSpy Jack Nicklaus ball article http://www.mygolfspy.com/jack-nicklaus-says-golf-ball-is-reason-golf-courses-are-closing/ . The numbers don't lie.

It's worth the upgrade to MTB. Get Sum performance is similar to the 2 piece balls of similar pricing while MTB matches performance of any high end ball at a far more reasonable price. The biggest disappointment with the Get Sum ball is the lack of durability of the cover. Just hitting the ball, no paths or trees, can scuff the cover in a matter of a few holes. You'll need to ""Get Sum"" at the turn. Perhaps ""Get Sum More"" is a better name.

With a solid strike, I'm able to work the ball easily, and the amount of spin I get is right in line with any of the major brands. I play a bit of a hook and it works with that shot profile beautifully. Does everything I'd expect from a high-dollar three-piece ball for 60% of the price. For the price it's an absolute no brainer playing these. Feels great off the driver, putter, and irons. Awesome ball. They also hold up really nice. Played 18 with one and it looked almost brand new. I'm really impressed.

I ordered a dozen and thought they were great so I ordered another 6 dozen. You won't find new balls that cheap let alone any this good. It has a soft feel but it goes as far as I've hit any other ball. I don't feel like I lost any spin around the green...

I began with a sample pack because I wanted to compare the softer ball to the one I way playing and I figured I would give the MTB a shot. I didn't find the Get Sum ball to be any better than what I was playing, but as my game improved I decided to shoot an entire round with the MTB. Wow, was I amazed at the increase in distance and how well they stuck to the greens. I found myself taking myself taking more birdie and par putts than ever before. I've shot the best scores of the season with Snell balls. The price is great and so is the ball.

The performance of the ball off irons was excellent and as good as any premium ball that I have played. Off the driver...well for me who has some swing flaws it was hard to keep straight. A lot more spin off the driver than I am used to so fairways were a bit hard to find unless it was an adjacent one! If you drive the ball straight, you won't find a better value in a premium ball!

I have been using the Get Sum ball from Snell for the last few weeks now. I love the feel of the ball off the driver. A soft, but explosive shot when I hit it between the screws. The Get Sum ball also has a nice feel off the putter face. I'm very happy with the overall playing characteristics of the ball and plan on ordering more from Snell in the future.

No BS, so here goes. The ball, out of the box, matched up perfectly to the playability of the usual ProV1 I play. However, I noticed the cover was getting eaten up quickly after iron and wedge shots. I use Ping i20's and Glide wedges so all conforming grooves. I needed 3 to complete 18 holes where I've often played a round with just one ProV1. By no means am I knocking the MTB, I love how it played. I just wish it lasted longer.

This is my new favorite golf towel. The waffle pattern does a great job of cleaning the club heads. I used to use a brush first, then a terry towel, in order to get the club clean. Now, unless the club is caked with mud/dirt, the towel does a fantastic job, no more brush needed (and truth be told, I only still use the brush to keep the towel from getting so dirty, it isn't needed). The only reason it gets 4 starts and not 5, is that the towel does not have a metal grommet, and the clip it comes with is plastic, and wimpy. I immediately replaced it with a metal carabiner style clip. I just hoe the hole in the towel doesn't rip out over time due to the lack of a grommet.

I have used both Snell balls and saw no real difference in distance or spin. I have played the Get Sum ball for about a year now. This ball performs as well or better than any other ball I have used including the ProV1 (both models), Callaway Super Soft, and TaylorMade TP5 and project (a). The trial pack gives you a dozen (2 sleeves of both balls) balls to try out and compare. I did just that and picked the Get Sum ball. Give it a try and keep an open mind.

I really like the performance of the MTB ball. Great distance, really good feel, and good consistency. The reason I gave a 4 star rating was not because of a lack in performance but because of the fact that the paint has a tendency to smear or come off when wet from the dew. I haven't had this problem with other premium balls. I continue to use but this is bothersome.

Great Ball at a great Price. My gamer has been the prov1x for many years... I read a couple reviews and gave the MTB a go not expecting much out of it. I actually had a bit of buyers remorse and let the balls sit on the shelf in the garage for a couple of months. To my surprise the MTB did everything my 1x Ball did with the exception of spin on the greens. Where my 1x would back up a few feet the MTB would stop or even roll out a foot. The MTB was actually the better Ball for me as I almost always hit my approach shot below the pin. The 1x looks neat spinning backwards but does nothing to help my lack of distance control. I'm now a believer and have ordered a couple more boxes of the MTB. Thank you Dean for creating a great Ball at a great Price. Keep up the good work

I really like the performance off all clubs throughout the bag, but the cover was DECIMATED by my first short iron swing. Not just a tiny little line in the cover... the cover stood up like flaps on an airplane wing. My clubs don't have particularly sharp grooves (they're over a year old) and I'm not exactly Dustin Johnson (driver swing speed ~107 mph).It defeats the purpose of the ball being cheaper if I have to put a new one in play every 3 holes. Is the cover that much thinner than other balls on the market? Did I get a box with out-of-tolerance cover thickness? I don't know, but I can't play these as they are. I'd be happy to send the affected balls to you so your engineers can see what I'm experiencing. I hope you can fix this issue, because I love the product otherwise.

Did a lot of research on this balll (MTB). Just want to say Awesome! Have been looking for a well made, reasonably priced, workable golf ball. Found it. This ball will draw, fade and stops very, very well when you need it to on the green. As for putting, compared the MTB against Sirxon, Titlelist, Nike, Callaway, and Volvik player level ball. The Snell ball felt as good and sometimes better then those listed. Yes, any GOOD ball will do all that but at what cost. Brand loyalty can be a factor, I the Volvik S3, another great ball that comes in orange which is easier for me to see but the price point is very different from Snell. MTB is a ball I look forward to gaming for a long time.

I qualified for the US Senior Open a month later and finished 14th at the PGA Tour Champions national qualifying tournament. I have been gaming the MTB now for a couple of years, I buy them 6 dozen at a time to get the best discount and I really like the performance. They are my go to golf ball. They seem very consistent, like the feel particularly off the mid irons and the spin around the green. Though I don't have much to base it on, other than a major Golf magazine test and my personal play, my impression is they are nearly as good any of the premium tour balls that are all offered at a much higher price.Having said that, even if you buy 6 dozen at a time they are still not cheap. However, besides Vice, as far as I know, there really aren't any other Urethane covered 3 piece golf balls out there on the market anywhere near this price. Only seen it played by someone else, other than myself, once. There is something that really appeals to me, about playing a tour level ball that not everyone else is playing. When they come out, I plan on playing either the new MTB Red or MTB Black as long as the price point it the same or lower. I am guessing that the difference between the Red and Black is higher spin or lower spin, I think that is a welcome change, Looking for less spin off the Driver. Guess we will find out in a few weeks.

I use the yellow GetSums off the tee, and MTBs for approach and on the greens. From what I understand there should be no difference in distance which seems true, but if I loose a drive the GetSums are less painfull. But, approach shots...I never had a ball that noticeably spins like they seem to ... my approach hold up much better and I stay on the green more that previously..I have noticed that the logo ""smears"" on a couple of balls...but the way I play they're probably crying..

Have to say, I was extremely pleased with the MTB Red after playing it in my last tournament. I shot my lowest score ever in tournament play using the MTB Red, loved the way it stops on the greens with my iron approaches and it feels great coming off of the putter face. No noticeable difference in driver length, but did notice the exceptional performance on and around the greens. This is now my new golf ball, cant beat the value.

Being 77 years old I didn’t think I was getting performance from “tour” golf balls. A buddy told me about Snell (red) so I gave it a try. From my first round I was impressed. I love the stopping action of this ball and it’s long, feels good and actually sounds good.I take advantage of special offers and have 6 dozen. I can play a little and have shot my age 17 times and have played for 55 years

I would buy one today if it came in white. Dark colors defeat the purpose in South Carolina during the warm months.
