  Our experience with RVezy indicated to us that they support the RVs owners before they support the consumer. While the RV, named Happy Motorhome, in Surrey, BC, seemed to be fine before we left with it, it did not operate properly when ‘off the grid’ (using battery/generator), a situation which we informed the owner we’d be in. We gave ample testimony of our problems (to the owner and to RVezy) and offered to get witness statements. We asked for some compensation. Instead, RVezy refunded the service fee only and supported the owner. An advisor sent me this statement: “You signed the rental agreement which means you accepted the condition of the RV at departure, and we cannot force the owner to issue a refund.” In lieu of acknowledging the fact that we could not see these problems upon leaving with the RV, we felt our concerns were ignored by RVezy, as well as the RV owner.

  It was great to rent from RVezy. Things I would like to see changed: - A way to attach pictures in the conversations with owners - Add-ons when booking were not clear, and I had to actually remove one halfway through my trip since I didn't realize I didn't need it. Everything else was great and would use the service again.

  Very nice service for renting RVs from other (especially private) owners. Only downside is the horrific driver approval system, which recognised some driving licences only after 10 minutes of fiddling with lighting and similar. Preferably there would be a manual way to hand in these photos, especially for non-standard driving licences, e.g. from foreign countries that are still valid to use in Canada.

  RVezy makes it easy to find and rent an rv. They make a potentially complicated process easy for the host and renter. By covering all the details such as insurance and money exchanges, both renter and host become confident in their system. I like the fact that each host has a personal list of offerings and ad-ons plus expectations.

  Love the concept and it worked well, but when a trailer is being delivered by the owner, the renter should not have to register as the driver or later agree to be responsible to pull the unit off the road safely should there be an issue. The website needs to take into consideration when the delivery and pick-up are done by the owner of the unit and reflect that.

  It was fairly straightforward. We had a couple of issues with the trailer that would have been frustrating if we were camping on our own as we obviously don’t own an RV. Fortunately we had family who could troubleshoot. Overall we were pleased with the unit and service.

  A breeze! This is our first time using RVezy for a trailer rental. We rented a trailer from Richard in Chardon, OH. He was incredibly accommodating and had everything and anything we could possibly need in the trailer for our trip. The correspondence through the site and Richard was great. Very easy site to book on and kept you up-to-date on items that needed to be completed and when prior and post trip. Will use RVezy in the future!

  We had a great experience for the booking part. However, RVezy do not seem to care whatsoever about their customers. We had two canceled flights, so our date of arrival to pick up the rental was delayed too, and RVezy was not understanding at all and did not care that we would pay for those 2 nights even though we could just NOT be there because of the airline problems happening. Also, we spoke with the owner of the van we rented and RVezy takes way too much cash over the renters. Also, we are charged a cleaning fee of 60$ and they don't even make sure cleaning is actually done. Will not use this platform again.

  I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and process for a booking. There were some surprises though that caught me off-guard, and some suggestions that would improve the experience. 1. The "allow others to send me bids" for a booking is a confusing default. After I submitted a booking, I almost accepted the wrong offer(s) because I didn't realise these offers were for other trailers and not my original booking. I later found the checkbox that says "allow others to send me bids" and then I understood what all the messages in my offers inbox were for. Lots of them were not even close to what I was booking for, so this was a confusing experience. 2. A bit more clarity on the overall renting process provided in advance would have been helpful. It wasn't until the day of my pick-up where I was prompted to do a pick-up inspection. Luckily I had enough time to do this during the pick-up and understood a little of what to do, but a heads-up would have been nice so I could have made sure to leave enough time to document everything with photos and that I would be responsible for some of this process. 3. Same comment as above, but with the drop-off inspection. There is no communication that these are part of the process until I was prompted on the drop-off date. 4. It took me some time to understand where my official documents were that showed the Owner's address and phone number, what package I had paid for, what I needed to print out and take with me, etc. It would have been much clearer if this was highlighted in a better way. I had to dig to find it. Overall, the experience was very positive. But a bit more proactive communication on what the overall process is and steps involved would have been helpful.
