  This is a very good program teaching students to learn from home while not able to get to school, because of the Covid situation. The program has an amusing way to engage the student to learn.

  Last year I used ABC Mouse and struggled to make it interesting enough for my kids. There were seldom times they would request it. I found reading eggs on a blog post and decided to give it a try, my son who is 4 and not interested in learning LOVED this program! He requests it daily. I love how repetitive the lessons are, while still making it engaging and fun. You also get reading, phonics, math and can do social studies (by utilizing the library) overall it’s a fantasist program and keeps my 4 and 6 year old engaged.

  We're only 1 month in but my 5 year old is reading new words everyday because of this program. We use the workbooks and do the corresponding work as we move through the virtual map perfecting letters and learning new sight words. And not only does my 5 year old work in the program but my 4 year old and 2 year old also have logins and can do age appropriate literacy activities on the website too. And they all love it! I'm so glad I found reading eggs.

  Highly recommended - engaging game-style lessons keeps my 3.5 year old interested in learning phonics. The gains are real. She can read simple sentences and sound things out now after only a month. I could never teach her these concepts at this pace myself. She loves the app, and we love seeing the progress! Very highly recommended to teach phonics.

  Some of the letters are confusing for my daughter, uppercase “i”looks like a lowercase “L”and a few things like that. Otherwise we are pleased. I would recommend this company fix those things so it’s the same throughout their website or app. and also they use multiple different styles of “a” which my kids have all struggled with a bit.

  It’s a great site/ app! It keeps my daughter engaged for the most part. There are some glitches on occasion where the game won’t accept the correct answer, which can be frustrating when trying to move onto the next level, and you can’t override the glitch/ mistake.

  My 5 year old really likes this app! We have tried so many that just didn’t hold his interest after a week or so. I love that Math Seeds is also included in the subscription. We are using these as a supplement to his homeschool curriculum and so far, I can see a big improvement in his language arts skills.

  I love that reading eggs is adaptable to each individual child! She enjoys using it even when she's not doing her lessons. She likes the games and the rewards. I think it builds confidence when she's gotten it right!

  Reading eggs taught my six year old daughter in less than 2 months. I would recommend the app to any parent who would like their kids to learn how to read. I love the fact that l don't have to monitor her as she reads. In terms of navigation it's ok. Struggled a bit the first days but lm used to it.

  I am amazed at the level of progress my son made in just 4 months of using reading eggs. We recently started homeschooling and we were following curriculum when he showed an interest in reading which was implemented slowly within the curriculum. with reading eggs as our supplement he managed to make huge strides in just a few months and as mother I watched his confidence grow and he has become even more excited about reading more books. I am grateful and reading eggs works. I would definitely recommend to friends and family

  My son couldn't figure out how to pass to the next level. It seemed he had to repeat the same activities multiple times and then could never get to the next level. This was discouraging and so he then chose to do an easier activity which was way to easy and was phonics.

  My 5 year old son loves reading Eggs! This was our first year homeschooling. He would have been in preschool in public school but now he's reading! I tried many other things before reading Eggs and nothing stuck. He begs to do his app sometimes because he enjoys it so much!   I homeschool my kids and we've been using this program for the last year and a half and my kids love it. It's the only program that has ever worked for us. It made such a difference with my one son who was seriously struggling with letter identification and letter sounds. After using the the program and free activity sheets that go with the lessons he's reading and he's so proud of himself. I'm so happy with how far he's come and reading eggs absolutely played a huge role in getting him to where he's at today. I would recommend this program to any family whether they homeschool or not.

  This is a complete learning package that deliver results. My 4+ yo kid not only is learning, she enjoys doing her lessons on her own. She can read CVC words & basic sentences. I also like program’s library & extra practice resources. Highly recommend Reading Eggs

  My job is IT support. the programme is not intuitive. Cant find where my son can read. I use IXL and that works better however there are no easy books to read for a 7 year old. I had hoped to find that in Reading Eggs. But never did

  This 4-year old boy is busy and very easily distracted. He struggles to sit still. We discovered ReadingEggs and he has gone from not knowing his letter sounds to sounding out words and reading short sentences in four months.

  We were introduced to Reading Eggs through a kindergarten home school program from Liberty University. I have since purchased it for my other grand daughter who just turned three. She is far more captivated by it than ABC Mouse. She has made great progress and I can hold her attention.

  Kayla is just finishing level 7. We needed to do lots of the lesson over, as she did not do well on the ending quiz. She still likes eggs and we do it five days a week. She is reading the books with ease most of the time.

  I have an 8 year old reluctant reader, and also have daycare children. I was looking for fun ways to develop her reading and spelling. I tried out so many math and reading sites! Reading eggs is the best I've found. Not only for my 8 year old, but for children as young as 3. There are lessons and games. I get progress updates, too!

  We are loving most of reading eggs. We notice that on a tablet running android 9 pie that a lot of the time it lags or shuts down. This is a brand new tablet with ONLY reading eggs on it. We would really enjoy it if you offered a program for learning french as well.

  This website (along with some books we check out from the local library) have really helped my almost 5 year old! She doesn’t start kindergarten until a few more months but is already reading kindergarten level books. I decided to buy this program as we chose to “homeschool “ my daughter for pre-k during the pandemic and I wanted supplemental content to help teach her. My 1st grade son uses this program at his school and loved it so I thought “why not try it out at home?” I am so happy I did! I definitely recommend Reading Eggs. (Also, we knew nothing about the Mathseeds program that was included prior to purchasing but that addition has also been pretty helpful for my daughter, too.)

  My child gets really frustrated with some of the activities. It would be nice if the fail an activity more than once it would take them back to reteach the letter/ sound. Also, the volume varies wildly. You have to turn it up to hear the letter sound clearly, but then it's way too loud at other parts.

  My 5 year old REALLY enjoys Reading Eggs and Math Seeds. We’ve tried some great learning apps that he never really wanted to use. He begs to play Reading Eggs and Math Seeds. As an elementary school teacher, I see a lot of value in many of the activities in the app. I do have some constructive feedback. I have noticed that some of the letter sound demos do not clip the consonant sounds (for example: /puh/ for letter p instead of a clipped /p/ sound). The addition of a nonexistent vowel sound after consonants can really confuse little ones when attempting to blend sounds to read words. Also, the sentence unscrambling activities in Reading Eggs are super frustrating for my son. The sentence is quickly read aloud one time, and there is no way to have it repeated. He will forget what the sentence should be and is stuck with no way to proceed without just providing incorrect answers so he can repeat the activity with my help. I’d love to see more assistance given within the app when a child provides an incorrect answer or the activity is left idle for longer than necessary, such as a repetition/rephrasing of instructions or demonstration of the action the child is being prompted to complete.

  I was looking for something to supplement my child's remote learning, and a friend with a dr in education mentioned this app was the best. We had already tired ABC Mouse, but my kid just wanted to play with the fish tank. The way he interacted with Reading Eggs was (and is) completely different. He's gone from saying "but I can't read" to "I'm so proud of myself for being able to read!" And he wants to share the funny cartoons with us. I'm very grateful for Reading Eggs.

  My kids love Reading Eggs. It has been an excellent fit for my 5-year-old who is learning to read and has provided great, challenging activities for my second grader in both math and reading. I love it that I can also download the app onto my phone and chrome book so they can practice on the go! The only reason I don’t give it 5-stars is my 5 year old sometimes has trouble completing the activities that require him to click and drag items on the screen. It causes a lot of frustration for him and he is ready to quit until I intervene.

  Reading Eggs is great and would love to give 5 stars. However, I find the navigation not that user friendly and in some cases very confusing. That is me as an adult, for small children it is even more confusing. I think it lacks some "on the spot" clarification, what one can do or how something is done. Small question marks, for example, one can hover over to get more info would help already, without having to click away. At the moment, trying to find info on how what works, feels like is nonexistent. Otherwise, the section that we are now sort of familiar with, it is great. That is mainly in the Mathseeds section, as the other section, let's call it the main section, is too confusing and not user friendly.

  I love this program. My daughter does too which is important. She has tried several online programs and she usually likes the avatars and a few of the activities but she gets tired of it and I can not get her to use the website anymore except for the avatars.   My daughter struggled with reading in first grade, then school was canceled due to COVID. Second grade has been worse! The school can't put in the extra time. Reading eggs has helped her in just a few weeks!!!!! And she actually likes to do it! We will continue with this program all summer at least! This has made a difference with word recognition, AND comprehension! I even notice a difference in her speech! Maybe its all coincidence, but within 2 weeks I could see a difference. We only use it about 30 minutes 3 days a week- but its working, and she likes it! This was easy- Click on free trial and go! Emails asking if I need help, and more!

  I have seen great gains with my younger child on reading eggs, but I have some concern about the appropriateness of all of the literature in the library for my older child. I would expect a program like reading eggs to be one that I would not need to supervise the content of the library shelf, but my older daughter started reading a book about alternative dressing styles in Asia (Street style) that even she thought was inappropriate. I also saw at least three reviews by other users stating negative reactions to the book. We have public libraries and society as a whole already pouring enough alternative ideas into our children. As a teacher myself, I believe public education, and certainly any subscription service, should do all it can to encourage wholesomeness during these formative years. If you know children well, you know that they actually yearn for and are drawn to the spirit of kindness and generosity in all aspects of their lives because it provides such a sense of security.

  We have been using reading eggs through my sons school since the beginning of the 2020 school year. We loved it so much that I went ahead and made our own separate account so we could also use math seeds. My son is 6, and his reading abilities SKY ROCKETED after about a month after we started reading eggs. Once he became more familiar with things, he took off. It’s been so amazing to see and witness. AND as a bonus, he has a BLAST! He begs to do more because he has such a great time with everything that is offered. I also made an account for my almost 2 year old for reading eggs jr. while it’s too early for him to really know much, he does have a really fun time playing the games they have. He enjoys being able to count the numbers just by touching the objects. I’m sure it won’t be long that he starts gaining more and more knowledge. This program really works, and we will be using it for as long as we are able to or until a child loses interest (which honestly will be never lol). You will not be disappointed in using this for your child(ren)!

  All encompassing and engaging. We have tried other programs in the past (at least 4) and this is the one that has shown results and keeps my 6yr olds attention. It's really impressive! I have recently started my 9yr old on the program as well . He was struggling with his reading and after we did the assessment test for him I was really excited to see him covering some fundamentals that we needed to spend extra time on as a quick easy additional lesson. I quickly have seen progress in his skill as well as more confidence in his reading. The age range this program covers is really impressive. I happily reccomend reading eggs to everyone!

  Trying to find a reading program that actually works and that my five year old would really enjoy without getting bored seemed a bit overwhelming for me, like, where do I even start?! This program was recommended by a friend of mine and I am so very thankful! By the second day my husband and I KNEW that we were going to stick with it, and now our little guy is reading like a pro! He looks forward to it every day and continues to blow us away with his progress! And don't even get me started on Math Seeds...love, love, LOVE! If you're looking for an exceptional program that WORKS, look no further, you've found it with Reading Eggs.

  My daughter has struggled with different aspects of school since she started. She is a bright girl but math and reading have always been difficult. After the school closings last year when Everything Covid hit, she made it through third grade, but not necessarily on grade level as I would have expected or hoped. As schools were trying to decide what the education system would look like for the fall, we found that our options for being part of a structured school were not feasible for our family. This brought the decision to do traditional homeschooling. We purchased a whole set of material, not as part of a whole curriculum, but individual books and courses. We started at the beginning of the year and it was evident that she was not on grade level for fourth grade. As we continued working, we completed a lot of workbooks to help get her caught up. We tried one curriculum web site but she did not relate, found it boring and too challenging. (It is a great site, just not for us at this time). When we found Reading Eggs we started right away. She loved it! At the end of our trial we ended the other web site and purchased the year's subscription of Reading Eggs. I believe that she has improved and is catching up to where she should be. I am hoping that by the time our subscription expires in October that she will have completed the curriculum available! I would love to see Reading Eggs expand their curriculum past 2nd/3rd grade so that she can continue. She is in 4th right now, doing the 2nd grade Reading Eggs and Math Seeds curriculum. I'm hoping that by 6th grade she is able to do at least 5th grade work. Thank you so much for the curriculum you have put together and the format used. We really enjoy the acorns and other incentives given. My daughter finds it a lot of fun! She has even gotten the reading bug and has started book reading almost every day! I highly recommend this to anyone working on lower elementary or needing supplemental help in those grades. When comparing subscription costs to other programs, Reading Eggs is far less than some and comparable to others. Well worth every cent we have spent on it!

  Great for review for our children! As well as a wonderful resource for homeschool and making it fun and interactive. Just wish it wouldn't let them answer to quick as my one of my children clicks the button so fast and accidentally hits another button and has to redo (I love it that it's more review, but did frustrate my child a tad). Overall would recommend to others and have to our Co-op group

  We are still finding our way around the site, but there seems to be a good variety of activities for different age groups. I have kids as young as 3 doing pre reading activities, as well as an eight year old. It keeps track of each child's progress across our different devices.

  So far so good. I have a 1,2,3 grader using it. I need however for every section to have the ability to be read to them out loud-all passages, answers and the questions. I can’t always be sitting right by each kid and they need the ability to go back and have things reread out loud to them. My 3rd grader has dyslexia and she is able to answer things correctly when read to her but on her own it’s to taxing to read alone.

  My daughter started this program at her school in Kindergarten. She was totally obsessed with it. She’s in 1st grade now and is reading like a champ!   We are homeschooling this year, and Reading Eggs has been a wonderful resource for my 6-year-old. He really enjoys "playing" Reading Eggs, and so it's been easy to incorporate this into our Reading & Language Arts program. He learned to read fairly easily this year, and I think Reading Eggs has contributed in a big way, especially for the skills of sounding out words and composing sentences. Highly recommend!!

  I really love most of the program. I wish as the parent that I could search topics and assign them to my child or select them. For example, if I know they are struggling with verbs - I would like to pull up that lesson.
