  As a mom who is preparing to homeschool, sometimes it’s hard to know what to teach next. My 2 year old loves to learn and Reading Eggs Jr adds something to our learning days that he really enjoys. I enjoy watching him progress through each activity and learn something new from each book and video.bIt helps me to see what else we need to focus on. He asks to play Reading Eggs almost every day! So thankful to have found Reading Eggs. Would definitely recommend!

  I have to admit, I was very worried about more screen time to help with reading, but my daughter really expressed a desire to do Reading Eggs. She was first exposed to Reading Eggs in school and she was really upset when it wasn’t offered the following year as well. I decided to give it a try. My daughter had been steadily working on reading books but it wasn’t until after starting Reading Eggs that her reading skills improved dramatically. She now is able to work through more difficult vocabulary without getting frustrated and her confidence is heart warming. Not only has her skills improved but also her desire to read. She considers Reading Eggs a treat every time she does it. She had a huge grin the other day when I was reviewing some sound blends and she told me she already learned that in Reading Eggs. I am so glad we joined and would recommend Reading Eggs!

  Reading Eggs taught my 5 year old son the basics of reading and he can now sound out words. My kids love Reading Eggs. I personally dont like the way reading was taught by sounding out each sound of a word, then saying all the sounds together. It stunts their reading ability. I taught my other kids (and other kids when I taught school) to read at age 4 and the way I prefer is to teach the first two sounds of a short vowel word, such as ma, sa, fa, da, etc, then teach them to drag out the vowel sound and bump it into the ending sound. Example: caat, saad, etc. Its just easier for them to catch on. The Reading Eggs way works too but I dont feel that it's as easy for him to catch on and can teach them bad habits. All in all a great reading program that the kids catch on to really fast. We only used it for the 30 day trial period.

  My 4 year old loses interested quickly and before I found reading eggs any “school work” was a battle. She LOVES this program and even asks me to go on it. She has speech delay as well so this has been great getting her to pronounce words completely as we go through the lessons.

  I've beenhomschooling my 6 kids over 23 years and have finally found a program that is worthy of the time my child spends on the computer. The reinforcement of skills he is learning and 'rewards' he receives only encourages him to want to do it more.

  As a the Instructional Coach for my building, I work with many different programs and wanted to pick an efficient and streamlined program to help my children at home and my students at school.   The site is easy to log into and get started; I have it bookmarked so my kids need minimal help getting in. My 6yo is pretty good at completing activities independently because she has foundational literacy skills. My 4yo needs support and guidance since he’s starting from the very beginning. Both kids think Reading Eggs is very fun and are motivated to keep playing and earning eggs. I like the repetition and interactiveness.

  My 6 year old son is obsessed with everything to do with Reading Eggs and hatching critters. He has such a passion for the program that he could truly be a spokesperson for the company!   I was struggling to get my kids (6,5, 3) to sit down and read. (Mostly my 5 & 6 yr old). They new some...but really needed something to get them to really sit and practice. I first did the one month free trial...and my kids loved it! I used it at part of our "at home learning" schedule...and after only that month, they were interested enough and confident enough to sit down with a book and read with me. This totally prompted me to subscribe for the year.

  I have three sons ages 6, ,4 and 2. They all thoroughly love and enjoy learning from Reding Eggs and MathSeeds. Each one being at different levels in their learning and they all understand and learn in different ways. I found it overwhelming trying to teach them essential learning tools on my own. However, using this site gives them all the ability to learn from the stage that they are in. And to continue to grow at their own speed.

  Reading Eggs has helped my 6 yr old in so many ways! She was struggling with the phonics aspect of reading and has come so far in the past year. My 4 yr old is on it now also and is doing great. It’s also entertaining enough for my 8 and 9 yr olds. It’s easy to set up, although, it would be nice to have deals on all the programs for multiple kids vs “this deal applies to one child” . The website is easy to navigate for kids (and for myself).

  Absolutely love Reading eggs! We were first introduced to this program from my daughter's school last year. This year the school went with a different program and my daughter started falling behind in reading. In turn, to help her, I signed her back up for Reading eggs and so very thankful I did! Her reading has immensely improved. And not only that, she actually looks forward to "playing" Reading eggs!

  We are really loving Reading Eggs so far! My sons think the games are fun, and I appreciate how they teach skills and also assess kids on those skills. too many programs simply assess and don't actually help kids when they get stuck. I think my only complaint is sometimes my child misses questions because of the strong English accent. one day my 6-year-old, my husband, and I were all trying to figure out what it was saying and the word was 'mark' but came out pronounced as 'mock' and we couldn't figure out the word it was trying to say. Happened a couple times but I remember that time in particular! aside from that though we are really happy with it so far. We currently have a trial but we will probably subscribe to it.

  I have used multiple platforms for reading resources for my children. Reading Eggs is the BEST I have used. The kids love it. The approach to phonics is absolutely essential to building readers and I love that there is a program already integrated for their daily work that goes along with the curriculum map. This helps me to know what they are learning, making sure that the books they read in the library correspond with the lessons they are on, and also helps me to see that the standards that they are learning are grade level standards that are appropriate. The Math Seeds program is a very visual program that helps them understand the principals behind the math-- not just memorization of facts. Both of my children have shown solid Lexile and literacy growth using this program and I recommend it for homeschool, teacher supplements in the classroom, and general school use **especially EIP services!!!

  I don’t pay for many apps but I did purchase this one! My almost 5 year old loves it and ASKS to play it, even though he knows it’s a “learning game” and not just a “fun game”. I’ve definitely seen more progress from him playing the game than my efforts trying to reach him to read on books at home.

  I'm homeschooling my son in kindergarten and it was a daily battle for him to complete his worksheets from other curriculums. He absolutely hated it. It was boring and would never hold his attention no matter how hard I tried. We both dreaded "school time". Introducing Reading Eggs was a game changer. He's learning everything required for kindergarten plus more and he loves it. He doesn't call it school work cause he thinks he's just playing games. He loves the characters, the play shops, the stories. It has been a life saver.

  Like many parents, I chose homeschooling bc of the pandemic. I was terrified bc I had to teach my youngest how to read. I did research and found worksheets but we were still struggling. I did Reading Eggs’ 30 day trial and planned to just cancel it but I was seeing real progress and decided it was something we needed. My daughter has learned many new words and enjoys this program. She asks to get on everyday so this program has made homeschooling her a breeze.

  We’ve had reading eggs for right at a month now. Both my (barely) 6 year old and 7 year old love it. We use it supplemental with our homeschooling and it’s a fun educational way for them to get screen time that we are all happy with. So glad for the free one month trial to use to fall in love.   Outstanding service in all regards. I wanted a program to help my (then) four year old grandson learn reading basics, so we started a trial in July. We both really enjoyed it and since then we typically spend about 3 days a week on the program, which has resulted in him able to sound out words very easily. Most days he likes to engage, and I let him direct his progress. He just turned 5 and while he mostly enjoys legos and being very active, Reading Eggs had given him a terrific reading start! We will continue to explore the many lands!

  I learned about this company by buying worksheets in a used bookstore - loved how they were put together, big enough font and pictures with slowly building up skills so we wouldn’t experience much frustration (some is inevitable). My daughter made great progress to reading, she didnt know all sounds of alphabet when we started. I’m still doing the reading via paper copies. After trying 3 different styles of math with not much luck for her (she is in grade K but knows followed brother’s 1st grade math during homeschooling and I wanted her workbooks to be more playful since she will have it in school again next year) I ordered also mathseeds paper copy but discovered I like that one better in the app for both kids (grade K and 1). My 1st grader loves mathseeds enough he did 25 lessons in 5 weeks before winter break and shortly before Christmas he was working out on a paper on his own 6x6 and 6x7, 4x5 and 5x5 (and got it correctly, the 8x8 didn’t work out to correct answer for him so he tossed that paper, lol). It was awesome because he has been asking about multiplication since we had some flashcards in the house but I always told him that’s for 3rd grade). His reading level is ahead of 1st grade so he is doing Eggspress which is great because he is working on skills he needs - it’s challenging but he likes it. My daughter in kinder is doing well too but even though I signed up for her I’m very pleased with my son’s growth from using it. I think she likes that for the workbook I sit next to her - I work full time so she gets to see me when I take short breaks from work to do schoolwork. Anyhow, thank you so much for putting this program together!

  I’m a mother and speech and language therapist. I also teach pre-reading skills to over 100 preschoolers aged 4-5 per week. Without a doubt I have never seen a program I like as much as reading eggs. It’s highly educational, beautifully designed, it’s fun, it’s engaging, it’s well paced. It’s close to perfect! I don’t let my kids (ages 6 and 4.5) play video games and their “iPad time” is readingeggs. They love it! It’s their special treat and they love learning with it. The only feedback I would give is that I would like to use the app in my teletherapy practice with my patients but the sound is too loud. I would like to have the ability to mute it so I can do the talking and giving directions. Thanks for an amazing app! I’m truly so grateful to have found you.

  My daughter has been behind in reading since Kindergarten, she is now in second grade. We have tried everything from reading more, extra help in school and outside tutoring- she was still behind. A friend recommended Reading Eggs and I signed up for the 30 day trial. I was amazed- my reluctant learner loved playing and was improving. Within the 30 day trial we signed up for the year family plan so all three of our daughters could do it! We got a call right before Christmas break and our daughter was officially caught up with her reading scores- only 1.5 months into starting Reading Eggs! The teacher was so impressed she wants to look into it for her own kids. We will continue with Reading Eggs and watch the joy of reading continue in all 3 of our girls.

  Wow! Such a fantastic resource! My kids beg to spend time learning. My rule is lesson first, in whichever platform, and then free play. I have no trouble getting the kids to do their lesson and they’ll sometimes even keep going on more lessons instead of exploring the free play areas.

  generally great, child likes the reward based learning. But Some lessons are much harder than others (e.g. reading full words or book vs the sounding of letters). Child is often flies through easy ones but gets stuck repeating the hard one over and over and gets very frustrated and not wanting to continue learning. Would be nice if there was more a dynamic lesson plan that maybe repeats fundamentals of areas which child had not successfully completed

  I have a girl and a boy and they both love the game-like approach. We use this as our main curriculum for my first grader and kindergartner. We started homeschooling this year 2020 and I wish my daughter would have started kindergarten with this (instead of online public school) program because my son, started reading his first 3 letter words already! I love Fast Phonics! My children like the math "tests" that reward them with playing an actual racing game! They mostly use it on my laptop but can be used with an android phone. They were able to do their work even when we traveled out of the country.

  I really like this compared to other programs we have used.. my only issue is my kiddo is distracted by some of the sounds that aren’t needed and the sounds that are needed aren’t as clear and distracting I hope that makes since.. I kinda wish the only sounds were not in conjunction with the words used for learning maybe just for an intro or something .. over all pretty good.. sometimes I’m a little lost as to what all of the many options are I wish there was a dummy guide my kiddo is autistic Adhd and I’m busy 24-7 tk try and figure this all out.. maybe a supportive members only Facebook group would help some stuff is tricky to know what to do like put bananas in basket .. it’s actually hard for little fingers to do and not anyway to undo mistakes .. I say simplify everything and it will be amazing.. I personally prefer less stimulation and less frills so the screen time I don’t have to feel so guilty about

  My children (8 and 5) really love Reading Eggs and Mathseed, they play every week day as part of our homeschooling. My only complaint is that I wish it was a bit more organized. For instance, I wish everything was in one area vs having to click on Reading Eggspress then go to English Skills for spelling. I also wish parents had a bit more control, like assigning certain activities.. I do LOVE all of their printables and adore the fact that my children are love playing reading eggs and learning!

  We love Reading Eggs! I use it as review after I have already taught the phonics and aight words. My Kindergarten son is reading on a first grade level due to Reading Eggs as well as daily reading and Logic of English A and B. I was a Sped Teacher and used to teach a lot of phonics and this program is great! My son loves the games and cute reward videos and buying stuff with points.

  Reading Eggs is AWESOME!!! We are homeschooling our kindergartener this year and it was going awful until we tried Reading Eggs. She knew her letters and sounds but some how it just didn’t click until she started Reading Eggs! Now she reads happily and begs to do school! Unlike Time4learning, Reading Eggs has fun songs and works well on the IPad, we’ve been using it for months and have had no technical difficulties at all! There are printable worksheets and teacher pages for each lesson with additional activities that for the most part can be done in the homeschool setting. I also appreciate the ease of checking on her progress and the homeschool curriculum chart that allows me to make sure that she will be on track to go back to school next year. The only thing that I don’t like is the way the printable writing sheets are geared towards cursive as opposed to printing...there are weird tails on some letters and the round parts aren’t as round as they should be. But all in all Reading Eggs has saved my daughter’s love of learning!!!!

  We are so happy we found Reading Eggs! When the schools shut down, we struggled trying to teach our kiddo how to read. Of course we didn't find Reading Eggs till school was done, but wanted to give it a try anyways as you can go wrong with the free 30 day trial. And OMG WOW. Before reading eggs our child wouldn't even try to sound out words and would say "I can't read", but before the 30 day trial was up, our child would actually try to sound out words & was reading. We make her do a little each day now and the teacher had said our child was advanced in her reading and math. Our kiddo enjoys reading eggs a lot. She enjoys all of the lessons and loves how there are games you can play in there too! She absolutely loves everything about Reading Eggs! The customer service team is also amazing. They respond in a timely manner and they do a great job in helping you out with what ever you need help with. We highly recommend Reading Eggs to everyone.

  I was using a different program for homeschool resources for my 5 year old this year. I'm so happy that we found reading eggs and switched. My daughter loves the lessons and the homeschool worksheets available are excellent for reinforcement of concepts. Her reading had improved drastically and she is doing math a grade level above where she would be in public school.

  My 4 year old enjoys the lessons and funny animals. Using the book and the website provide for extra practice! The main thing I need to monitor is to be sure he is doing the lessons as well as the games. He has accumulated hundreds of reward coins and could play games all day. But I like this program better than ABC mouse.

Unfortunately, it’s the way Kindle tablets are created and the platform that they use. The high video content and animation on Reading Eggs doesn’t work with their browser Amazon Silk which is developed by Amazon.

  I love Reading Eggs. I can see what my children are working on. There are so many worksheets to reinforce what they are learning. They also love the content and are happy to do the work everyday. My four-year-old is already reading small words and is progressing so much faster than when I was trying to teach him myself. I also love that they have resources to show you what age your child is reading at and where they should be compared to public schools. Great program. It is easy for me to navigate, easy for the kids to navigate, and everyone enjoys it.

  We are very happy with Reading Eggs. Our daughter has moved up 4 reading levels in 3 months! She's not getting much from school due to everything being virtual, so I really attribute most of this to Reading Eggs! She likes the "rewards" they give her. I will say that it does take some parent input - we do include this as something she has to do. We also have her read to us a book off of Reading Eggs daily. I only rated it 4 stars because I'd like to have a little more control over the level she's in. Sometimes I feel it's slightly too high of a level and I wish there was an option to back it down one.

  I love reading eggs for my son. We have tried every other learning game and they did not keep my son interested. Reading eggs is very well organized and it has really fun activities that keep my son interested. Also it actually teaches and doesn’t make it easy to just guess the answers. On other reading games he would just click through guessing the answers but on reading eggs he takes his time and actually does the lessons.

  I am a new home school mom of 4 boys, ages 11-5! I am SO happy I found Reading Eggs. My older boys were reluctant at first because the younger ones loved it. (They thought it might be for babies) I asked them to give it a try and then was able to show them their progress on the parent access part. They liked seeing where they were and what they needed to work on! I had to contact Customer Service on a user-end error and they were fabulous! I love getting my progress emails and congratulationing my children on finishing steps on their journey. I feel grateful to have found Reading Eggs and have recommended it to others!

  It's great ...I just wish it had more subjects and that it went up to a higher age/grade level for my oldest. If it went up to middle school age that be wonderful. The library is awesome and my 5yr old is becoming a better reader. All my kids enjoy it and the price is reasonable. It is helping my 2nd grader with math skills. My 4th grader loves the chapter books.

  My son isn't a fan of the reading parts that we had to purchase to get the math games he actually likes and will use with pushing. He is make ng slow progress so I am happy. But I wish I could purchase only the parts we use.

  My 4 year old like playing the games and has learned quite a lot. However, I'd say the design is a bit older. Also, at times it is buggy. For example, my son has completed a few maps on math seeds but the parent section doesn't show any reports to me and says nothing has been completed

  I love reading eggs! My 5 year old daughter has Improved so much since begging to use the program. Words she struggled with she is now able to read easily. And her blending of words has improved so much. She is trying to read everything now. I’m very proud!

  My daughter is in an informal cottage, encouraging outdoors and craft activities. I need a way to guarantee she gets some formal reading skills.   Wow, has this year been rough. 2020 really threw us for a loop. At the beginning of the year, we were thrown into private homeschooling for the first time. I was scared at first because we are struggling with financially adding anything new to our piles of bills this year so at the time I was unsure how we would be able to purchase their new curriculum for schooling. Fortunately, we entered a raffle put on by @leftrightcc and won 2 free one year subscriptions, one for each of my children. It honestly could not have come at a better time and we are still so very grateful. My daughter has dyslexia as well as discalcula and my son, ADHD, SPD and APD which makes sitting and learning very difficult. Both are very kinesthetic learners and need to be doing it to remember it. With the Reading Eggs subscriptions the education has become fun instead of the daunting work they left behind at their previous schools. Reading Eggs has now become part of our daily school curriculum. We love it and recommend it to everyone with kids who would benefit from this AMAZING program! The program has so much to offer, it really is like several different programs wrapped into one. The Math Seeds are my kids favorites and because there are incentives when lessons are completed, it makes them want to "play", learn more! Thank you Reading Eggs! A win for my students and a win for their new teacher/mommy!

  Reading eggs is wonderful. I've tried all the different learning sites out there and none could keep my one child focused and engaged. He absolutely loves reading eggs and went from not knowing his alphabet to being able to read in about a month. I couldn't be happier with the program and the fact that my kids actually like it also. They give amazing feedback so I can stay on track with their learning and they also give wonderful tips on things to practice along the way!!

  Not only is reading eggs helping my kindergartener to read fluently, but it’s helping my 4th grader with some holes I’ve seen in his education. I can’t stress enough that reading eggs isn’t the only amazing thing about this program. Mathseeds is SO helpful and the phonics portion (that my kids call the Yeti game) is so fun and really helps focus on making sure they are getting to the root of how to read! This is repetitive in all the right ways, but interactive enough that the kids don’t mind! Worth every penny for both age groups.

  I'm home schooling my two sons, 4 and 7 years old. Reading eggs has helped a lot by supporting what the kids learn in their curriculum. The program has given me some free time as well as I now spend less time introducing the kids to other reading aspects. Within two months using the program I have seen some improvements already. The 4 year old knows the phonics, read few words and do some math. His older brother has improved on his reading skills and understanding. They like the games and challenges and not realizing that they learn while playing. Reading eggs has been the best online reading program for me.Very easy and fun to use, my kids showed me how to navigate the site. I'm sharing the experience with all my friends and family members.
