My child loves Reading Eggs, Fast Phonetics, and Mathseeds. This program is very thorough. Before my child even started the coursework, there was an option to take an assessment. This ensured her work was at the right level. The programs make learning enjoyable. My daughter asks to use them everyday. The learning summary lets me monitor her progress. I can see that her skills are improving. There are printable lesson guides for parents and worksheets so students can get extra practice. The cost is reasonable, and it is worth it. I cannot say enough good things about this program. I highly recommend it.

Love this, its a great perfectly priced lessons. My 5 year old read his first book yesterday. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is i wish it will go to middle school age in all subjects. Very happy with it, very easy to to pick up and my 3 year old does his only lessons by himself after I start it for him.

My son really loves it, but the forced accent diversity makes it very hard for him to understand what they're saying. Just pick an accent and stick with it. These kids are learning to read, not about regional minorities. Changing pronunciation and inflection on toddlers and 6-year-olds is more cruel than helpful.

This game has been such a perfect addition to our learning to read efforts! My 4yo finds this game so fun and after less than a month has sound out the word “sat” without being prompted to and all by himself! I’m so exited to continue and see him become a reader before kindergarten!

I was so very glad to find reading eggs for homeschooling my first grader! We both love it so much. It makes learning fun and is such an impressive app. Each lesson is new and fun and exciting. It was really good until my kid found out how to access the areas of the website where you just get to play useless video games like dress up a character etc. So, useless in the end. Why on earth would they include mindless video game areas on this learning app. It's like they don't understand child behaviors at all. Long story short, helped my kid read but I'd have to monitor the whole time and st that point I'd much rather read books with my kid instead of using screen time. Sad because screen time is a big motivator and my child was learning.

I liked the program but I had trouble navigating the app, plus it didn't save our progress. Each time I logged on it wanted us to do the placement test again. It was frustrating so I cancelled.

My 9, 8, and 6 year old all use this program as part of their homeschool. Since staring two months ago, they have massively improved on reading. So far my 8 year old son who’s starting 4th grade in September love it. He’s autistic and is behind a little because of his comprehension. We’ve been using it for two weeks now and he’s already showing progress. They gave him an assessment so they can know wheee to start him off in readying math and phonics.

I love that my kids can have their own profile under one account but they cant easily switch from one profile to another. Getting started is confusing just sure if the lessons are doing the assessments or that is a separate test before you start the lessons.

Please reach out to support@readingeggs.com for instructions on how to find this information. Each program has a placement test that you can opt to take and then the system will place the child accordingly. You can also opt out of taking the test to start from Lesson 1 of the program. You can adjust levels at any time or reset the program to have the child take the placement test at any time. Again, you can reach out to the support team for more information about this if needed. :)

Reading Eggs has been such a great addition to our homeschooling! My kindergartner is always so reluctant to read or learn new words. Our son Wesley started this program with our cousin/sitter. He really took off with this program. My son Wesley loves the brain break videos, passing levels, trying to get the “gold” award. Wesley likes adding stickers to his awards and we have an 8 x 10 frame that we switch out every time he passed a map. Wesley was on the program for about a year. A couple months before his 6th birthday, he passed the reading eggs program. Wesley is continuing to try to pass math seeds. He is officially halfway there! Wesley is very bright and at the top of his class. This program has helped give him the enthusiasm and encouragement while teaching such a variety of math and reading skills. Our three year old daughter Jenna wants to be like her brother Wesley. So, now we have her on her one little account. Jenna loves earning eggs and personalizing her emoji!

Was hesitant but was having a difficult time with traditional methods. Would highly recommend Reading Eggs as it Helps keep enthusiasm and interest high. Much easier to use Reading eggs as the core and then sprinkle in the handwriting of the alphabet and words to lock in the lessons.

So far going pretty well, kids enjoy the reading portion, trying to get them to enjoy the maths portion as well. Including more maths friendly games & ways to engage a child who isn’t great with maths on the learning eggs app would be helpful as well! Overall a nice app for kids learning.

We have loved our time with reading eggs. It is uneasy to use but has such incredible content. My kids are flying through the material, and the app allows us to go back and re-learn material, so they are never bored or run out of learning.

Reading eggs is truly amazing! I have kids on the spectrum and they are finally reading after years of struggling to learn! I love how reading eggs breaks it down & makes it fun for the child. It’s interactive, colorful & incredibly easy to navigate. I gave it four stars due to the app continually glitching, it never works correctly & I feel like reading eggs should cater to more than 4 students. I shouldn’t have to pay again on top of what I already spend to teach my children. I absolutely LOVE reading eggs but I don’t like that I have to pay full price to add another child. Learning should be for everyone. I’d also love to see a special education program in reading eggs & math seeds for children struggling that need it broken down even more.

I recently started using the Reading Eggs app for my four children, two of whom have autism, and I must say it has been a fantastic experience. Finding a learning app that truly engages my children has been a challenge, but Reading Eggs manages to capture their attention effectively. I discovered it through an Instagram advertisement and decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. The app is immersive and keeps my kids interested in learning, which is a huge plus. However, I noticed a couple of areas that could use improvement. In certain games, the speaker's voice is too low, requiring me to turn the volume up to hear her clearly, yet the graphic sounds remain significantly louder. Additionally, when it comes to reading books, I believe there should be an option for the speaker to read the book aloud, which would be especially helpful for young or struggling readers. Overall, despite these minor issues, I am very pleased with the Reading Eggs app. It has proven to be an excellent educational tool for my children, and I highly recommend it to parents looking for an engaging and effective learning application.

I have tried so many popular books and apps alike to try to teach my son to read and nothing had worked for us. He hates school, doesn’t want to read, and becomes angry when we sit down to try. But with ReadingEggs, he’s eggcited! He thinks it’s a game and he loves it. He loves earning his golden eggs and spending them in the store. He wants to do more lessons to earn more. Where none of the other apps could capture his attention, ReadingEggs easily does. I am so thankful I found this app to help my son learn to read.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! My daughter struggled with reading and being behind grade level in public school. After 2 months of reading eggs, she is a fluent reader. I also started my 4 year old and he can now read. I've gone through many programs and apps online to find the right curriculum that actually shows results I never leave reviews but Reading Eggs did not disappoint. My children love it and so do I.

My kindergartner has been struggling with learning letter sounds and anything reading all school year. We have tried multiple programs. I've seen more progress in 1.5 weeks of doing reading eggs than the rest of the school year combined! He loves the rewards and the activities!

My son has really done well with this program. The only thing I do not like is that he was reading stories about kids hitting and pulling hair. I thought the platform for educational reading could have been something more light hearted and violence left out. I remember I wanted to record him reading a book and send it to a family member. I wouldn’t even send it to the family member bc of the content he was reading. Other than that he has done well. He enjoys the games and he has been doing well with the program.

The exercises aare not long enough. For example, it will have her drop in letters to complete a word but there's just two words. Then the dumb things like the spinning word wheel, keeps going on and on with the same words. It freezes a lot, my child says the characters are very creepy looking. Have to agree. It would help if the words were practiced in a lesson and then a book used where the words lit up and if the kid can't. Read a word in the story, it would sound it out with the child.

My kids enjoys it. One thing that I don't like is the volume. It's quite loud on the videos then becomes soft during the lessons. I keep adjusting the volume. It would be a nice if it's fixed.

As a parent, I appreciate how much my children enjoy Reading Eggs and Mathseeds. They genuinely have fun with the programs, and it’s fantastic that they can learn while it feels like playing a game to them. The engaging interface keeps them motivated, and I’ve seen improvement in their skills over time. However, from a parent’s perspective, there are a few areas where I feel these programs could improve. While the gamified approach is great for keeping kids interested, I wish there was more explicit instruction embedded within the lessons. It sometimes feels like the learning process is more implicit, and I would love to see more guided teaching moments to reinforce concepts. My biggest issue, though, is the lack of control and insight as a parent. I cannot assign specific lessons, which would be a helpful feature, especially when I want to focus on certain skills. The reporting system is also quite limited—I would like to easily see what my children are working on each day. A calendar view showing their daily activities and the time spent on each task would be a huge improvement and give me a better sense of their progress. Right now, I feel like I’m somewhat in the dark about what’s happening in the program, which makes it harder to stay involved in their learning. Overall, while my children love it, I think a few parent-focused updates could make Reading Eggs and Mathseeds even better.

My 7 yo has struggled with learning, he has a speech processing disorder, and it has affected his ability to learn in many forms. His reading is improving, and he thinks Reading Eggs is a fun way to learn, he tried a few other programs without success. But I love his enthusiasm as he scores high rates on his quizzes, it's amazing to watch him eagerly learn with Reading Eggs!

My daughter is in 1st grade and has struggled with reading and reading with confidence. I even have her a tutor for reading but READING EGGS HAS HELPED HER TREMENDOUSLY!! Today she read a little bit of a book and knew the words and had such confidence!! I chatted with a tech support person twice bc I am having trouble with logging in. He could not produce the problem on his end and I am still having trouble. I am unsure at this point if the issue will ever be resolved. As far as content, RE/MS is very good for my children. I do think it progresses rather quickly and some of the things are too hard and they get frustrated.

I cant say enough about reading eggs. My daughter is in 2nd grade was struggling to keep up with her class. We are barely at the end of our 30 day trial and already she has had so much progress. We had back to school night on Tuesday and her teacher said she is doing so much better. He said it was like night and day the difference. We were having a hard time getting her interested in reading books but with these fun programs she actually enjoys her nightly sessions. If you are concerned about your child and where they are with reading i recommend at least trying the free trial you have nothing to lose.

Reading eggs is engaging and effective, I do with it was a bit more based on sequential phonics and not a blend of phonics and sight words. After lesson 45 it moves a bit quicker and my son would benefit from more phonics practice. The fast Phonics Component is good!

The only thing that stumped me at first was the navigation prompting, I needed to assess the kids, and it was confusing where to start and where to go next. But my now adult children use reading eggs and now my youngest are on it too and loving it. it's so motivating the certificates for them, and they feel like they are playing while they learn. I only wish you had for older kids who aren't advanced readers or spellers something similar. Thanks for all the fun!

After trying several online programs for my 7 year old daughter with little success- she often became bored quickly—Reading Eggs has been a game changer for us. Absolutely love Reading Eggs for my 4 year old. He was spelling 3 letter words in a matter of a week. We were shocked since he didn't know all his letter sounds yet. The app is fun but educational. After having it for a month, we bought it for a year. My 7 year old also loves it! It really helps with his reading comprehension.

I wish it would work on the Amazon fire! We had tablets we used the app with and the tablet died ans now we got them a fire but the app doesn't work on the fire so we have to do it on my phone now. The kids LOVED the app itself tho.

After a little learning curve on navigating the various options offered, it is proving to be a good fit for a variety of ages and learning levels. I have four children using it, ages 6-12; they're enjoying it, and they're learning! Win/Win, and I would recommend it to anyone.

My five year old is on map 3. He is just running away with reading right now. He is always excited to do his Reading Eggs. I had already tried a couple of other reading programs that just did not work for us. Thank you Reading Eggs!

Had a 13 year old grandson who fell thru the cracks at school and never learned to read. Have him working in Reading Eggs and he's doing great!!

I love the program for my 1st grader . He attends school, and I wanted to find a way to get him extra practice with phonics, reading, spelling, and vocabulary—this is awesome. It’s well scaffolded. Reading eggs and eggspress have these reading strategy videos that talk about inferences, etc which I like because these strategies are taught in school. My only feedback is that explicit utilization or practice with that strategy could be more concrete. Also, I wish there were more exercise connection that would teach how to organize approach and thinking like an interactive story map where student had to link characters names to “characters”, details to “plot” , “conflict “, and then conclusion. Also, a way to link the 5 W questions to approach inquiry while reading. I all questions are written seeking an answer, but I think it’s just as important to know what questions to ask. I haven’t found this on any online learning app but I think Reading Eggs could do it. They’re clearly the best at this IMO.

I highly recommend reading eggs. I was struggling to make reading fun. This is the perfect tool and my daughter ask me to do it! I am more than happy with it and wish i had found it sooner.

My kids love this program. I homeschool them and this has really helped take the pressure off of me. My 6 year old has improved immensely with her reading and math skills. My 7 year old enjoys multiplication!
