Was hesitant but was having a difficult time with traditional methods. Would highly recommend Reading Eggs as it Helps keep enthusiasm and interest high. Much easier to use Reading eggs as the core and then sprinkle in the handwriting of the alphabet and words to lock in the lessons.

As a parent, I’m truly grateful for Reading Eggs. It has made a big difference in my kids' learning journey. I was struggling to find something that would keep them interested and motivated in reading, but Alhamdulillah, Reading Eggs made learning so fun and exciting for them. It’s such a wonderful feeling to see my kids reading with confidence and enjoying it at the same time. The lessons are engaging, easy to follow, and very effective. Hi there, I am so glad I found Reading Eggs online. I was struggling with homeschooling and keeping a job at the same time. After I discovered this site, I was amazed at how easy it was for my kids to do the learning pretty much on their own. So happy about the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

So far going pretty well, kids enjoy the reading portion, trying to get them to enjoy the maths portion as well. Including more maths friendly games & ways to engage a child who isn’t great with maths on the learning eggs app would be helpful as well! Overall a nice app for kids learning.

We have loved our time with reading eggs. It is uneasy to use but has such incredible content. My kids are flying through the material, and the app allows us to go back and re-learn material, so they are never bored or run out of learning.

Reading eggs is truly amazing! I have kids on the spectrum and they are finally reading after years of struggling to learn! I love how reading eggs breaks it down & makes it fun for the child. It’s interactive, colorful & incredibly easy to navigate. I gave it four stars due to the app continually glitching, it never works correctly & I feel like reading eggs should cater to more than 4 students. I shouldn’t have to pay again on top of what I already spend to teach my children. I absolutely LOVE reading eggs but I don’t like that I have to pay full price to add another child. Learning should be for everyone. I’d also love to see a special education program in reading eggs & math seeds for children struggling that need it broken down even more.

I recently started using the Reading Eggs app for my four children, two of whom have autism, and I must say it has been a fantastic experience. Finding a learning app that truly engages my children has been a challenge, but Reading Eggs manages to capture their attention effectively. I discovered it through an Instagram advertisement and decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. The app is immersive and keeps my kids interested in learning, which is a huge plus. However, I noticed a couple of areas that could use improvement. In certain games, the speaker's voice is too low, requiring me to turn the volume up to hear her clearly, yet the graphic sounds remain significantly louder. Additionally, when it comes to reading books, I believe there should be an option for the speaker to read the book aloud, which would be especially helpful for young or struggling readers. Overall, despite these minor issues, I am very pleased with the Reading Eggs app. It has proven to be an excellent educational tool for my children, and I highly recommend it to parents looking for an engaging and effective learning application.

I have tried so many popular books and apps alike to try to teach my son to read and nothing had worked for us. He hates school, doesn’t want to read, and becomes angry when we sit down to try. But with ReadingEggs, he’s eggcited! He thinks it’s a game and he loves it. He loves earning his golden eggs and spending them in the store. He wants to do more lessons to earn more. Where none of the other apps could capture his attention, ReadingEggs easily does. I am so thankful I found this app to help my son learn to read.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! My daughter struggled with reading and being behind grade level in public school. After 2 months of reading eggs, she is a fluent reader. I also started my 4 year old and he can now read. I've gone through many programs and apps online to find the right curriculum that actually shows results I never leave reviews but Reading Eggs did not disappoint. My children love it and so do I.

My kindergartner has been struggling with learning letter sounds and anything reading all school year. We have tried multiple programs. I've seen more progress in 1.5 weeks of doing reading eggs than the rest of the school year combined! He loves the rewards and the activities!

My son has really done well with this program. The only thing I do not like is that he was reading stories about kids hitting and pulling hair. I thought the platform for educational reading could have been something more light hearted and violence left out. I remember I wanted to record him reading a book and send it to a family member. I wouldn’t even send it to the family member bc of the content he was reading. Other than that he has done well. He enjoys the games and he has been doing well with the program.

The exercises aare not long enough. For example, it will have her drop in letters to complete a word but there's just two words. Then the dumb things like the spinning word wheel, keeps going on and on with the same words. It freezes a lot, my child says the characters are very creepy looking. Have to agree. It would help if the words were practiced in a lesson and then a book used where the words lit up and if the kid can't. Read a word in the story, it would sound it out with the child.

My kids enjoys it. One thing that I don't like is the volume. It's quite loud on the videos then becomes soft during the lessons. I keep adjusting the volume. It would be a nice if it's fixed.

As a parent, I appreciate how much my children enjoy Reading Eggs and Mathseeds. They genuinely have fun with the programs, and it’s fantastic that they can learn while it feels like playing a game to them. The engaging interface keeps them motivated, and I’ve seen improvement in their skills over time. However, from a parent’s perspective, there are a few areas where I feel these programs could improve. While the gamified approach is great for keeping kids interested, I wish there was more explicit instruction embedded within the lessons. It sometimes feels like the learning process is more implicit, and I would love to see more guided teaching moments to reinforce concepts. My biggest issue, though, is the lack of control and insight as a parent. I cannot assign specific lessons, which would be a helpful feature, especially when I want to focus on certain skills. The reporting system is also quite limited—I would like to easily see what my children are working on each day. A calendar view showing their daily activities and the time spent on each task would be a huge improvement and give me a better sense of their progress. Right now, I feel like I’m somewhat in the dark about what’s happening in the program, which makes it harder to stay involved in their learning. Overall, while my children love it, I think a few parent-focused updates could make Reading Eggs and Mathseeds even better.

My 7 yo has struggled with learning, he has a speech processing disorder, and it has affected his ability to learn in many forms. His reading is improving, and he thinks Reading Eggs is a fun way to learn, he tried a few other programs without success. But I love his enthusiasm as he scores high rates on his quizzes, it's amazing to watch him eagerly learn with Reading Eggs!

Reading eggs is engaging and effective, I do with it was a bit more based on sequential phonics and not a blend of phonics and sight words. After lesson 45 it moves a bit quicker and my son would benefit from more phonics practice. The fast Phonics Component is good!

I cant say enough about reading eggs. My daughter is in 2nd grade was struggling to keep up with her class. We are barely at the end of our 30 day trial and already she has had so much progress. We had back to school night on Tuesday and her teacher said she is doing so much better. He said it was like night and day the difference. We were having a hard time getting her interested in reading books but with these fun programs she actually enjoys her nightly sessions. If you are concerned about your child and where they are with reading i recommend at least trying the free trial you have nothing to lose.

I chatted with a tech support person twice bc I am having trouble with logging in. He could not produce the problem on his end and I am still having trouble. I am unsure at this point if the issue will ever be resolved. As far as content, RE/MS is very good for my children. I do think it progresses rather quickly and some of the things are too hard and they get frustrated.

My daughter is in 1st grade and has struggled with reading and reading with confidence. I even have her a tutor for reading but READING EGGS HAS HELPED HER TREMENDOUSLY!! Today she read a little bit of a book and knew the words and had such confidence!! Reading eggs is fun for kids because kids love to play games and this is such a cool way to let kids play games that help them learn!! How cool! We love READING EGGS !!!

The only thing that stumped me at first was the navigation prompting, I needed to assess the kids, and it was confusing where to start and where to go next. But my now adult children use reading eggs and now my youngest are on it too and loving it. it's so motivating the certificates for them, and they feel like they are playing while they learn. I only wish you had for older kids who aren't advanced readers or spellers something similar. Thanks for all the fun!

After trying several online programs for my 7 year old daughter with little success- she often became bored quickly—Reading Eggs has been a game changer for us. Absolutely love Reading Eggs for my 4 year old. He was spelling 3 letter words in a matter of a week. We were shocked since he didn't know all his letter sounds yet. The app is fun but educational. After having it for a month, we bought it for a year. My 7 year old also loves it! It really helps with his reading comprehension.

I wish it would work on the Amazon fire! We had tablets we used the app with and the tablet died ans now we got them a fire but the app doesn't work on the fire so we have to do it on my phone now. The kids LOVED the app itself tho.

I love the program for my 1st grader . He attends school, and I wanted to find a way to get him extra practice with phonics, reading, spelling, and vocabulary—this is awesome. It’s well scaffolded. Reading eggs and eggspress have these reading strategy videos that talk about inferences, etc which I like because these strategies are taught in school. My only feedback is that explicit utilization or practice with that strategy could be more concrete. Also, I wish there were more exercise connection that would teach how to organize approach and thinking like an interactive story map where student had to link characters names to “characters”, details to “plot” , “conflict “, and then conclusion. Also, a way to link the 5 W questions to approach inquiry while reading. I all questions are written seeking an answer, but I think it’s just as important to know what questions to ask. I haven’t found this on any online learning app but I think Reading Eggs could do it. They’re clearly the best at this IMO.

Reading Eggs is visually hyperstimulating for my 6 year old, and it has not significantly helped him with reading. The characters and adventures seem to distract him from what he's supposed to be learning, instead of helping him to learn. He gets grouchy when he has to be done. Reading Eggspress has been helpful for some of my older children. It's not so stimulating as the programs for the younger ones.

My boy is struggling quit a bit with reading and writing in 1st grade. His first report card was not very good and even his teacher was getting frustrated with him. I was worried he would fall behind and be ignored by the teacher. I also have reasons to believe that he might have dyslexia. So I found reading reading eggs. The two things I love most about it, is that it doesn't feel so much like learning to him, but more like playing. There are a ton of different games and variations of learning how to read. Tons of ways to keep the kids interested engaged. Second, I absolutely love being able to print those same exercises as a pdf. After playing on the screen, I sit down with him and repeat the same exercises on a manual sheet. He always tells me how easy it is, which is great, because with any other book, his answer would always be that he can't do it. And even better, his teacher recently told me that whatever it is I am doing with him, I should keep doing it. I have high hopes that his next report card will be a tiny bit better.

The program looks fun but not having it available on Amazon Fire is making me consider cancelling. It's just too hard for my 6 year old to use a laptop versus her tablet so we really haven't got to experience it much and therefore it's not worth it for us.

I am satisfied with the learning platform Reading eggs as for my son. He has become a better reader and have interest in words. I like the uniqueness of different characters in the eggs. My son always wants to see what character pops out of the egg. He likes the music and dance to it. Reading eggs is one of the best online learning applications out there and I have tried many. I like the parent portal and the little certificates at the end of each maps. I like the the downloadable lesson plan that shows me what is on every lesson and on every map. My son likes the store and getting little items for his character with the eggs he has gotten.

Where do I start my child can now read and understand what he is reading now, my children can test their knowledge in math and reading, even spelling and phonics. There are fun ways on here they can learn and I can keep up with their progress I can select the date to show the progress it’s not boring to them they are actually into it and love to do it. Before Reading-eggs when it was time to study it would be a dread from all 3 of my children and it makes me a proud happy homeschooling Mom. Like I have no doubts I have the tools and I have the progress to actually shows and it saves. Like this is not even all I have more to say but I will leave it at this.

Our grandson had to do an online kindergarten during covid, and Reading Eggs was part of the curriculum. He loved it, and is an excellent reader now at the age of 7 in second grade. His 4 year-old sister, however has not attended preschool nor kindergarten and barely knows her alphabet. I decided to buy the Reading Eggs for her, but sadly cannot get her to use it. I may try again, but she is very difficult to deal with when she doesn't want to do something. She will enter kindergarten in September, so hopefully she will catch up at some point. I was fortunate for the opportunity to homeschool my kids but I found that my youngest, who had just completed the first grade, was severely behind in reading. He lacked confidence and had no desire to read. He was defeated. Daily he would say, "I'm a horrible reader and I'm not smart". As a mom, that phrase will pierce you right in the heart. He struggled at recognizing phonic sounds in words, made up sounds in words, and struggled with fluency. We have been using Reading Eggs for a few short months and my son is growing leaps and bounds with his reading abilities. He actually WANTS to log in to Reading Eggs to do "work". He also has been requesting for us to read books in the evening before bed by choice, not by force. I'm so thankful we found a program that meets him where he is at and breaks down the phonics to help build confidence. This program teaches in such a skilled way that my son finds fun and motivating. We can't wait to continue through the program and he is even excited to jump into the Reading Eggspress for older kids once he is ready.

I decided to try Reading Eggs with my 6 year old just a few months ago after seeing the frustration she was experiencing (and me) with the home school program we were using. My daughter was struggling to recognize sight words and was not even close to being able to read a sentence. In just a short time of using Reading Eggs, she was recognizing sight words and reading short sentences! She was actually excited to learn! Before, it was a fight. I cannot say enough good things about Reading eggs. I highly recommend this program.

Very good program for children. I have five, obviously the smallest one is too young (only 1) but my other children get the most out of the app. The only thing I dislike and would change, is the lessons that involve aliens. Aliens!!!! Other than that I can't complain.

My daughter doesn't yet start using the app on her own, but once she opens it she's very engaged for a good amount of time. She can now remember things that she used to forget, for example when C says the S sound.

We love Reading Eggs, it is an open and go, independent program that is fun and educational. My son’s reading level and comprehension has increased so quickly. He enjoys the eggs rewards that he can use, the optional printable extras that go with each lesson are excellent and help to reinforce what my son has learned. The spelling program is also excellent. I like that there is a test at the beginning to help figure out which level to start your child. The email updates are great and the printable rewards are great to help boost the children’s self-esteem.

To be honest I don’t care for the animation/drawing style used. I also don’t always understand the choice of photos used. However my child loves Reading Eggs and seems to be gaining knowledge and that’s all that really matters.

I believe you may be referring to the Activity Books, which currently exist in Levels 1-8 and correspond to the first 80 Lessons of the Reading Eggs ages 3-7 program. There are Essential Skills workbooks which correspond to upper levels of the online programs which can be found at www.readingeggsshop.com. I'm not aware of plans to create additional activity books at present, but keep you eyes on the shop!

This subscription is worth EVERY penny. I have a 5yr old and 4 yr old twins. They all love getting on and doing the games and lessons. I love getting to see their progress and being surprised at how much they are learning from it! Reading Eggs also teaches them math! My kids have improved so much in their reading and math skills, I couldn't be happier.

Colton is enjoying all the stories and activities and learning more words every day. It is opening a new world to him and he is excited about what we call lesson time. I have him repeat the story back to me showing him the words and he is making connection with the words, not all the time but most of the time. We are both a work in progress. So far, so good! My son is behind in his reading, more with the reading comprehension but we did the placement test and he is moving through the levels from where the placement test put him and he is doing well. We have started the spelling placement test but have not finished it yet. We are enjoying the app.

Since purchasing the 2-4 year old subscription 2 months ago, my daughter has learned to identify C-F accurately. It's our go-to game on my phone, and I don't feel bad about using a screen to occupy her for an hour once a week on average when she's learning and having fun with Reading Eggs!

I really like reading eggs. My second grader who really shut down on reading loves this. He enjoyed the challenges. The only thing that I think could be improved is some of the pronunciations are hard to understand Glad I found this program.

Reading eggs is good for kids who already know their letter sounds, and are reading small words. I have not been happy with the way and the order that they are teaching the letter sounds to my preschooler. It’s very confusing. I would totally get my money back if I could.

I haven't been using it long. Maybe a handful of times, so I don't know how effective it is at helping the kids learn to read YET. However.. their print outs are awesome, fun and I know that they will work for sure. I love that they give you a schedule for homeschoolers to use if you are struggling with lesson plans for this. I love that the kids BEG me to do school and will spend a few hours on the app. I know screen time should be limited, but sometimes mama needs a bit of time and I don't feel guilty because they are learning. The eggs throughout are my 4yo's favorite thing. It even keeps my 2yo entertained (with a little help). My 6 year old did the first 5 lessons on his own all in a little over an hour... and when I suggested a break, he asked for more time! I will update my review when we have used it for a while so I can comment further on its effectiveness for helping them read!

Defnitely a 5! What I love about Reading Eggs is that there are hundreds of printable worksheets that correspond with the lessons in the programmes. These are perfect for me, as I want to reinforce the skills Kendall & Khailah are learning. I`ve decided to laminate our Reading Eggs worksheets in order for the girls to re-use every now and then. I have seen my daughter improve her reading and maths skills since I started reading eggs. And the best part about it is that it's fun. She use to hate reading and cry when I make her read. I have seen an improvement in my children's reading 100% I have had to cancel though as I need to save some money. I would give 5 stars except I can't use it on their Amazon fire tablets I HAVE to give them my phone which doesn't work well when they come off the app so easily. Also my child has weekly spellings given by school, it would be good if I could input these specific spellings for them to practice some how and progress through memory so end of the week they can remember with ease

We absolutely love Reading Eggs and Math Seeds! It's colorful, fun and quick with touch response (unlike Hooked on Phonics). The only complaint that will unfortunately be the reason we cannot continue our subscription, is that it's not supported on an Amazon Fire tablet. We use the Amazon Tablets for my children's education apps only. I am really bummed we won't be able to continue after the monthly trial.

This has been the best experience so far among the different apps I used. My son is Deaf and Hard of Hearing and also has development delay and low muscle tone. It is not easy to get him to read or write. with this app he has started to learn words and read a little bit. I am optimistic he will continue to make progress with time.

This is a great app to teach young kids to read; my preschooler is obsessed with it. What makes it different from other apps is that there is no way to "cheat" it; if the kid makes too many mistakes, the lesson simply gets repeated. He can't move on until he's mastered the given skill. Highly recommend for young kids!

My grandson.asked why the Reading Egg.wears a cape. I told him that reading is a superpower. After completing the on, 'I, am, a" he read a little book that had a, "I am a superhero!" page. The look of pride on his face was priceless. Thank you Reading Eggs!

It says 15 min a day and your kid will start reading in a month. We are 2 weeks in and she's reading small books!! My daughter is dyslexic and I'm just in awe of this program

This app is so easy to navigate, so much so that my two year old has learned to do it almost completely alone in just 3 days! He is obsessed with it! I love everything this app has to offer him, the activities, videos, and even the books!!! It is incredible!

Homeschooling has been amazing for my youngest-But reading was intimidating to her and she struggled with blending sounds. She has been using reading eggs for one week and her reading age has gone up a full year. She is sounding out things confidently while playing through the program. My only regret is that I didn’t buy the program sooner- because we struggled for so long.
