  My daughter needed some help with feeling confident with her letter phonics and really needed help blending letter sounds into words ... After a year on ABC mouse she was still struggling then we discovered Reading Eggs and I decided to give it a try ... With literally the first week she was making progress and was happy to be learning again. Once she was in week 2 she knew a couple sight words and was able to use phonics to read other 3-4 letter words. I immediately ditched the mouse and have been singing the Egg praises to everyone I know with young kids.

  My 6 year old daughter could not even read simple words and this was despite joining the lead tutoring place for English reading for months. I found reading eggs and gave it a try. Within no time my daughter got addicted to it and within 2 months has started reading whole books by herself. I would strongly recommend this app to anyone for kids.

  I am so in love with Reading Eggs. It was recommended to us for my Autistic son who is in kindergarten but struggles with language due to a severe language delay. Reading Eggs has helped him especially with his phoneme awareness and beginning sounds. I loved it so much I started my advanced 4year old on it as well and she adores it. It is engaging for kids for sure. The concept of following a map and receiving animals that hatch out of an egg at the end of a lesson as a reward is both adorable and effective. My kids love doing their daily lesson to see what animal they get that day. They also adore Sam the Ant which is the character that helps them navigate the lessons by navigating the instructions and steps. Each child gets their own profile and before beginning the program, a placement test is given so the children start at THEIR INDIVIDUAL LEVELS. Love love LOVE that aspect of Reading Eggs. Then, as the children learn, the lessons advance as they learn and master concepts. Now that my son correctly learned his letters, the lessons advanced to sounds, then CVC building and then sight words. It's incredible that the lessons are always within his abilities and doesn't get too far ahead of his capabilities. I used ABC Mouse before and it never, ever properly worked. I hated it. And Homer and Lingo Kids aren't bad but Reading Eggs is without contest my favorite learning platform I use. I homeschool my kids so I'm always looking for great resources. Highly recommend Reading Eggs.

  My daughter loves reading eggs. My daughter hates reading and doing homework, but when I mention doing reading eggs to help her skills and build them she’s all for it! She truly enjoys it! She doesn’t feel it’s a punishment but a fun game.

  This app is hard to navigate to young children. I cannot just give it to them like I can other learning apps. It is frustrating because it is a great educational app, but not user friendly, the interface is confusing for young kids.

  Reading Eggs really hits the mark for children from ages of 3 to 8 with or without disabilities. I have been using program for less than 30 days but am seeing results already in area of "sounds and recognition of letters" and recognition of "beginning sight words" which was not happening this entire school year until now no matter what method I was using. I was about to give up ! THANK YOU READING EGGS !

  My son really enjoys this program and he's learned a lot in just a few weeks. It has really helped his confidence and he feels a great sense of accomplishment after completing a level. We are making Reading Eggs a permanent part of our homeschool curriculum.

  My son reads phonics books or words I write on a white book way better. It's boring and repetitive. He will not play it. He played it 2 or 3 times the first week and it just continues to drop off. I have to beg him and he stops quickly. Also sound problems with the app so we can only use the computer for this overpriced program. So bummed I spent money on this. Just engage with your child hands on, so much better!

  I just joined reading eggs my experience the good my kids like it lots of games and stories they really enjoy it the bad I can only download it on my phone. The kids have their tablets but the app won't load on there Amazon fires so we open a web page and it's so slow and at times be hard to find

  This program is really educational, fun, and engaging for kids. I bought it for my 9-year-old nephew with autism and 8- year old niece, and tried it out for the first time with both of them yesterday. Both kids seemed to enjoy all of the activities and redeeming their “eggs” for items for their virtual house. I was impressed by the variety of learning activities and games, the placement test to individualize the curriculum, and the really adorable characters and graphics. Clearly, a lot of work went into building this program and it shows!

  Reading eggs is a great resource! Helped my oldest and now my 6 year old has been using it. There is a lot of repetition which I love. I know there are other reading apps out there but I ve only used reading eggs because it is familiar to me. However, I am supplementing with bobs reading books. I feel that reading eggs is not enough. But doing both is most successful.

  My shopping experience was so easy to navigate through the site. After reading about the program, I immediately thought this would be a good for my child’s learning abilities and signed up.   my daughter explained to me she doesn’t like the app because when she get her answers wrong the little monsters laugh and stick their tongue out at her. She explained to me it hurts her feelings. The monsters reminds her of the bully in her classroom. Who always laugh and stick his tongue out at everyone who get wrong answers. Instead of lifting her up saying it’s okay turn again next time, the app is breaking her down and definitely shooting her self esteem down and I don’t like that. As a first grader learning games should be fun and uplifting not bringing little children down. Please feel free to reach back out to me when you guys fix that.

  The design of reading eggs is great. It’s also engaging and my son definitely learned. I discontinued using it though, because there are a lot of things that aren’t supported by the research of how kids learn to read. One of the things I dislike most is that kids are encouraged to guess instead of actually reading. They don’t have a choice because words are presented with sounds they haven’t learned yet. No room here to present the science of learning to read, but that’s very problematic. And just one example.

  Educational, yes, but it isn’t fun. My 2nd-grade son felt stressed out and begged not to use it anymore. Instead of assessment, why not just let the user adjust difficulty as they see fit? An instead of boring, dry, slide-show like educational videos and tests, why not present the information in a creative, fun way? In game form? Why do you have to earn eggs in boring ways before you can play the games? It just felt like punishment to him,

  Reading Eggs was a great way to have fine learning to read. My oldest grandchild used it and was reading well before kindergarten. We just bought Reading Eggs for the next grandchild who is not quite three yet and already very interested in the reading process and has started the Reading Eggs for younger children. Reading Eggs is such a fun way to learn and it has proven to be highly motivating!

  Easy to use and navigate. My children have been using the program for a few weeks and they beg to do extra lessons each day! My son who left public school and was on an IEP has surpassed his goals at "normal" levels...in weeks!

  I started with a competitor’s product in January of this year. My 5 year old wasn’t picking the material up and he didn’t enjoy it. So many have recommended Reading Eggs and now I know why. My son went from being unable to read to reading several sight words and simple sentences. He’s so proud of himself and I’m so proud of him. We are homeschooling and Reading Eggs as well as Math Seeds has helped keep me sane. I tell everyone that I know to try RE. I So thankful to have found it.

  My kids have been using this as part of their homeschooling for over a month and it has been fantastic! They are loving it! The interactive part that the kids use is exceptional compared to other programs! The only downfall is that because we are homeschoolers we have a family account and the data available for me to view on the work they do is minimal. If they are part of a school account their teacher is watching their progress with much more detailed data. A great improvement would be an affordable option for homeschool families to get the same data as the teachers do!

  My great grandson enjoys reading readingeggs, and material. He likes to be able to pick from the animals moving on the page.   I was not happy with the level my youngest son was put in. It seemed much tooo diff it. When I pressed the button to redo the placement test it does not give me the new results and only part of the test was redone. He is not enjoying the process and I’m really trying to keep him going.

  We highly recommend giving Reading Eggs a try for your child or children. It was easy to download the app onto our devices, then we signed in with our free 30 day trial. It definitely did not take 30 days to see that our oldest son was hooked. The graphics, catchy sounds and songs, and everything that comes along with Reading Eggs is a must. Our oldest is three going on four, and found Reading Eggs to be fun and helpful. We, as parents, have enjoyed watching his journey so far. We catch ourselves humming or singing a tune, and we love hearing and seeing his excitement at getting answers right. We love that prizes are awarded and that you can see a progress report along the way. We are utilizing Reading Eggs for a minimum of 15 minutes daily, and love that our oldest sons learning will continue for years to come using this subscription. It is perfect for families and great for on-the-go or at home. We love that we can take this with us from place to place thanks to our devices. We have never had issues with any connection or sound, etc. Customer service is absolutely amazing and helped us out on our trial period and when signing up. We highly recommend Reading Eggs so you can see the progress your children make based on their reactions in person and on their progress report.

  We’ve been using this program for about 2 weeks now. If I’m being completely honest, I feel like the higher-ups of this company are not advertising this program to its full potential. Reading Eggs offers a full curriculum! It’s already spelled out in a beautiful pacing guide. Every single reading lesson has corresponding worksheets and mini books to go along with it, already included in the price and available to you. I have NEVER seen this program talked about on social media as anything more than a supplemental educational game. It’s SO much more than that. My ASD/ADHD was struggling with our homeschool LA curriculum. I tried this “game” to help him and, within a day of perusing the “Bonus Material,” had made the solid decision to make Reading Eggs his core LA and Math curriculum. Additionally, my other child who is advanced for his age is also loving this program. I’m using it as more of a supplement for him, but he really loves the worksheets, the booklets, and he ADORES the cute characters at each level. The marketing department really needs to shout from the rooftops that this is a curriculum and can be followed as such for early grades. I’m thinking of doing my own videos just because the need is there and I believe in this do much!

  My daughter struggled with learning her alphabet sounds and really just was not interested in doing so with the methods I was using. I stumbled upon reading eggs and decided to give it a try, and it was like something clicked within her. She really enjoys the activities and is excited to learn. It didn’t take her long at to pick up on her letter sounds, she even began sounding out words and recognizing sight words! Reading Eggs will definitely continue to be a vital resource in our home.

  We love Reading Eggs! Fast Phonics has been especially helpful for our kindergartener. We also really love Math Seeds! The content is wholesome and engaging. Lessons are slow enough to ensure understanding but quick enough to stay engaging. Reviews and quizzes are awesome and I love the email reports that are sent occasionally with updates on your student's progress. And the worksheets to go along with the lessons are great too! We will be using Reading Eggs and Math Seeds in our homeschool curriculum next year! Customer service is also amazing. So kind and easy to work with. Would 10/10 recommend to everyone!

  I love reading eggs! It works well for my kids. My son had trouble with spelling and reading and after using reading eggs he just kept improving and doing so well! One downside though is it takes a little bit of time to load some things other than that we absolutely love it!

  I had tried two other well known programs. The software was difficult to navigate. One had far to many options. They really didn’t make learning fun, and everything just seemed to progress to quickly for a three year old to grasp. I’m a geek and considered the apps to be to much. My granddaughter has made it through lesson 1 of the Reading Eggs Junior program. She has also completed lesson one of the MathSeeds program. Basic math was already easy for her. These are bite sized lessons that combine songs, videos, worksheets, and games to help her learn. Each lesson offers printouts with easy to follow instructions. The learning curve around the software is fairly easy. I prefer to view the program through a browser as the iPhone app seems a bit buggy. We’ll see how the developers keep up with Apple’s frequent updates. To sum it up, I no longer feel like I’m teaching, but just helping her learn. She loves it and she’s progressing quickly now.

  Great program. Using this for two Thai children's first efforts to learn English. Overall a great effort to build a learning tool that incorporates how children's brains process learning language. I am not an expert regarding how to teach English to non-native speakers but think that this program might have opportunities for improvement. Non language teaching components (intros, etc.) are probably a bit more meaningful and useful to children who are in an English speaking home. Also the program easily allows 'progress' with obvious letter and word matching without having to actually sounding out the individual phonics to make a word. I do have extensive education, teaching and consulting experience. I have become conversational in several languages as well as read and write the Thai language. I share this with you only in the event that you might want to chat more about our experience. Thank you for your product. It is clear that a tremendous amount of thought and development has gone into its creation. The children are excited about learning English and making good progress.

  My 6 year-old daughter struggles terribly with letter sounds, blending letters and therefore reading. She has low self confidence in this area and never wants to practice. Reading eggs changed that! She now wakes up early, at her request, so that she can complete a lesson before school. As a mom, I chose Reading Eggs because I love the parent tracking report. It keeps me posted on progress and more importantly shows whether or not they are actually completing tasks or playing (ie. dressing up the avatar). I actually use Reading Eggs for my 5 and 8 year old's as well. The assessment test parks them in the appropriate level, which I find spot on. Definitely recommend this site!!!

  Overall I am pleased with the program. A few suggestions: have the capital letter 'I' appear in both forms. My daughter has an l (L) in her name, and it was confusing at first. Also, a few of the pictures to match with words are not what a 5 year old would be able to connect with IMO. for instance, the word 'fat' was to be matched with a picture of a ribeye steak with an arrow pointing to the outer fatty portion of the piece. But overall, I think this is a great way to increase phonemic awareness.

  Great games and my kids like it but price is VERY steep for what is provided. Be careful- it will say you are signing up for a discounted monthly payment but it is fake. You will be charged full price despite any links/ codes. Might be worth it if you kids spend multiple hours per day on the device using this.

The activities are easily understood and he loves earning eggs for the next certificate and playing games. Some of the pictures are a little "confusing" but with the voice prompts...it helps a lot!   My 5 yr old was falling behind in kindergarten. She has a very hard time staying on task, so her reading was that of a 4yr old. We have been doing reading eggs for about four months now. Her teacher and I have both seen great improvements with her. Best part is she stays entertained and would rather do reading eggs than her homework. The experience we have had has been great and I would definitely recommend, especially for the cost. Well worth the investment.

  I believe reading eggs is grooming children. I believe this because Mr. wiggles the egg drops his pants inorder to review a surprise. This allows children to be desensitized to the act of a grown up dropping their pants with a surprise. My girls immediately thought it was inappropriate. I believe there was options of a rabbit , a cock( chicken) and one other thing. It was just very subliminal, they try to hide it. Also, one of the math games are literally little sperms floating around. The whole oval with the squiggly tail. These are things that an older child would put together after taking the applicable science course. I noticed this when my child asked me for help with an equation. I was thrown off entirely and showed my husband and he knew exactly what I was talking about with just one glance. What are you doing to our children reading eggs? I didn't sign up for my children to be desensitized to sexual innuendo via your platform. You think your clever and the unwitting parent is not paying attention to these kinds of things. Well I'm not one of them. I am very involved with my children and what they are exposed to.

  Thank you. We aren't as thrilled with the MathSeeds, but it has many benefits as she is showing almost all the way thru 1st grade math on another program.. With that said, one thing we do like about it is its using the words, that she needs to focus on... WE do like it Please know that we do enjoy it and we have our subscription paid for a full year. I do like it for reading and its perfect.. I know my daughter can read a lot of word, but shows her at a much lower level, and i don't mind that because she hates that aspect of school right now.. She does like this REading eggs though and so do i. We are continuing to enjoy the programs!

  I absolutely love reading eggs and so do my kids. Reading eggs is educational but also fun! I was so happy that a teacher introduced it to my child that I decided to get the program for my other 3 children. The progress reports I receive via email when my child goes to the next section are also great as well as the assessments to ensure they are at the right level and understand the material. I advocate for the program and have recommended it to other family members.
