  The material is presented in a fun manner but it doesn’t seem to progress very fast. I wish that it didn’t glitch out when my sons use their tablets. They have Samsung tablets so they cannot download the app and must use their web browser. We homeschool and it would be nice to use on the go but we cannot. We will most likely cancel after our year subscription is up.

  My kids lost interest as soon as the paid subscription started. Here are my main complaints: First, teaching kids to recognize the words for the numbers along side the numbers is ridiculous. This is way too hard for a younger child, and not at all important at this stage of the game (they can't read yet and don't even know their letters!!!) but apparently you can't move forward if you don't know it. Of course my three year old lost interested. Second, having to learn each letter in several different fonts. Way too confusing and completely unnecessary at this point. I will not subscribe again and I will not recommend it to anyone else.

  As a parent I am really impressed with how much my son enjoys it & by how much he has Learned. Our son Romeo really loves doing the lessons & enjoys the funny little creatures. I truly wish i wouls have heard about Readingeggs sooner. Thank you Readingeggs you have done an Amazing job.

  It’s a wonderful program and we’ve seen a big improvement in our son’s reading skills and understanding of early math concepts - our only criticism is that the app on the phone is slow and clunky - and sometimes the stories failed to load.

  I wouldnt say its an amazing earth shattering app. Its just ok. My kid gets frustrated with it sometimes. I do too. It can bounce around a little bit and not make sense.

  while I love the interactive games, I am having trouble using the program from a website.... while the iOS app seems to be ok ( freezes up occasionally)... on my surface pro, I have to use the website... you can't drag and drop, you have to click to select, and click again where you want it to drop... it's pretty frustrating for my 3yr old because it's inconsistent. also, on my smaller android devices the screen cuts off.... the whole page doesn't fit on the screen so when you have to drag some bugs into the bottle let's say.... you can barely see the bottom of the screen to grab them and the DONE button is pretty hard to see as well... so yeah, it's just 3 stars ok for now... really hoping for an android app to pop up

  We have been using Reading Eggs for over a year & my 6 year old son loves it! It has taught him so much & is very user friendly. As a teacher myself, I love how many different levels it offers for kids of all ages on different ability levels in both reading & math as well.

  As a homeschooling family, reading eggs has been a great supplement to my little ones learning. My 5 yr old already knows the letters and sounds, but this teaches her more, and is great review! Its a fun way for her to do it. We also take advantage of the free work sheets they have that you can print out that ties to each lesson. My daughter loves those also. It helps introduce words as well. We have abcmouse also, which my daughter also likes, but reading eggs makes sure she understands what she just learned before moving on. I like that. My daughter actually asks me to be able to do reading eggs and mathseeds. She truly enjoys it. I sit with her and its neat to see what she is learning, and how much she picks up. We recommend reading eggs!

  My 4 year old started learning to read after just a few weeks. He loves the lessons. My 2 yr old has her own set of activities that keep her entertained and learning. They both ask to do Reading Eggs daily!

  My 5 year old daughter can't get enough of Reading Eggs and Math Seeds. She asks to go on everyday for her "screen time". Her older sisters are blown away with the concepts she is working on which gives her even more confidence! So glad I discovered this and so grateful for the generous one month trial that allowed me to see that my money really would be very well spent!

  It's an excellent way to motivate my son to work in English. I'm an expat in Spain, so it's hard to convince him to use English. He loves math, so the Mathseeds is a fun tool for him, too.

  We have been very impressed with Reading Eggs! We just got my son a subscription for his 4th birthday, so he has been using it for about 2 months, and it is pretty amazing the big jump he has made! We had tried ABCmouse before and just were not very impressed, a lot of the “lessons” were super easy and did not engage him at all, so i knew we had to try something else. With Reading Eggs, I have seen an improvement from the very first time he “played”. I like that the lessons seems like a level of a game, so that he is interested in doing them, and is even asking every day! I also really like that there is an assessment when you first start so they don’t have to go through a lot of levels that are too easy for them, they get placed at a level that fits their ability almost right away. With the very first free trial we used, he was showing improvements in areas I had been trying to work on with him for months! In the past 2 months, he has developed an increased interest in doing his preschool at home, and had improvements in number and letter recognition, letter sounds, beginning sounds, and even recognizing sight words, which I hadn’t even started working with him on! The printable worksheets that go with each level are also a big plus, and he has been more exited to sit down to do them since they “match” what he just did on his app. This has been a long time struggle that i have also been seeking improvements with, so I am so excited to see that it has been a natural progression of working with him with Reading Eggs. Thank you Reading Eggs for such a thoughtful, well organized program!

  Great website wish I would have discovered it sooner. My son was struggling, since starting reading eggs a few months ago he's already started reading short words!! And it's much easier to use and costs less than other simular websites. Great Product!!!

  We love reading eggs. My daughter has really grown in her reading from the program. I would like to make one suggestion: in the placement tests it would be helpful if they didn’t know they were getting them wrong and could justs answer freely. We had many years because she didn’t know the right answer and couldn’t get a good score. In a typical placement test they are not graded openly on the spot. This would be more encouraging for them.   Good, as long as it lasts. I recently paid for another year renewal only to discover 1 month later that there wasn't any more Math Seeds for my daughter to do. I contacted the company about this, stating that if I knew the program was about to end for my child I wouldn't have renewed. I received no reimbursement of any kind and had to pay even more money to join another math program. ☹ I am very disappointed because my child is used to their format and I wanted to continue using it.

  I love Reading Eggs. I have watched my children progress so well with it. It is an amazing learning tool for kids in elementary or home schools. You can also monitor their progress and developmental levels. Awesome!!

  I really like reading Eggs a lot ,my grandson is below grade grade average ,so I was looking 4 something to make him want to learn and help him to learn more and he absolutely loves to do his work on Reading Eggs he is home-schooled and it is part of his language arts curriculum. He has also brought up his grade a lot since starting with Reading Eggs, so I would highly recommend it to anyone.

  We love reading eggs but it seems to be difficult to use once you by the family membership and multiple members start using. It freezes up SO much!! And reading eggs Jr freezes up even more. Kind of disappointing and I wish they would fix this bug already😕

  My daughter is in 2nd grade. She has a math oriented mind, so reading was not her favorite subject to learn. She really loves the Reading Eggs program! It gives her tools to help her with reading and encourages her along the way with different games to play. She really loves playing the dress the monster & make the monster games. Ha ha!!   My son started Reading Eggs at a 2nd grade level (after 4 years of intensive at home work.) Know after 1 year (at 40 minutes per day), he has gotten to almost finishing 6th grade level! He even scored high on standardized testing for comprehension. And bonus - he still thinks it's fun 😀.

  We absolutely love the Reading Eggs programs! Especially Mathseeds. My children have learned so much from this curriculum and continue to do so every day. I hope that the company continues to add more advanced lessons as time goes on and my children progress towards the end. We don't want it to end!   I am thrilled with the Reading Eggs and MathSeega programs! They are truly excellent. I am an educator of 25 years and am tutoring a young girl with dyslexia. The program is brilliant for her- and for me! I recommend Reading Eggs to everyone I know with a young child! It is well, well worth the small investment!

  My son has been using Reading Eggs (now in Reading Eggspress) and Math Seeds since he was 4, and he's 7.5 now. At first he just loved it because it was so fun and interactive. Now that it's gotten a little more academic (but still fun and interactive), he doesn't see it as much as "playing" as he used to, but he will always pick it over his seat work (workbooks/writing) if given the choice. He has learned SO MUCH through RE and MS! We plan to use it until he's completed all the lessons! It's also so easy to redo a lesson or skip ahead if necessary. Wish there was a RE and MS for middle and high school. :-D

  Our son has autism and is in his teen years now. We have loved watching him learn to read with Reading Eggs. Fortunately, he knew his sounds early on, but the program has really helped him take the consonant and vowel sounds to the word level and onto sentence structure. Thank you Reading Eggs for helping all sorts of children and teens advance and embrace their potential.

  My son loves using this program and it has helped him learn some sight words. One thing that was a downfall for us is they only have the readingeggs app for apple products and nothing android based. He doesnt always have access to our computer, like when I'm working, so it would be super nice to have it available to download to his tablet. I emailed them about this when we first signed up a year ago and I had hoped that they would have been working on an android app but that doesnt seem to be the case. I'm debating on renewing our subscription or not because he starts school in a few months and our summer time is normally spent on the go.

  I absolutely love reading eggs! There are many activities to learn and reinforce a concept without making it feel boring or like something they already did. And they do need to do well to advance to the next thing. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because we have recently moved to the reading eggs express portion. I feel that it was big leap and there are not nearly as many reinforcements. My daughter is moving too fast, too quickly and then struggles more with something new. We will keep going, it's still helpful. But the younger version of reading eggs is fantastic!

  I am so thankful for this program! It literally taught my daughter to read when she rejected everything else I had tried. I began her younger sister on it when she was 4 and showing an interest in learning. She completed the entire program and is now enjoying Reading Express at age 7. She loves it and her reading comprehension is above any other first grader I know.

  Reading Eggs & the reading egg library has made learning so simple and enjoying. My daughter couldn't remember phonetic sound of letters beginning of year is now on 1st grade level. I recommend reading eggs to everyone.

  I love the reading eggs. My 8 years old son learned a lot from reading eggs press and maths seeds while having fun. I introduced him reading eggs when he was 4 years old. I would have given 4.5 stars if there is a option.

  My only complaint is that the printable worksheets could be a lot more printable friendly by not having so much unnecessary black in them and some of the lessons dont give enough practice while others give too many.

  I have multiple good experiences. First I was having difficulty getting my then 5 year old to make progress on his reading. When I started him on Readingeggs, he made rapid progress and moved on to Reading eggspress within months. He loves Mathseeds also. Then along came his little sister who started on Readingeggs and Mathseeds at age 3. She is doing well on Readingeggs but she really loves Mathseeds. The older kids also made gains with Readingeggs.

  I only have experience with Reading eggspress, but it has been well worth the money for us. Before we started it my daughter had trouble recalling what she read, and I felt like her comprehension was lower then what it should be at. She's been using it about 6 months and her progress has been amazing. She has zero trouble telling me all the details about what she has read now. I like that it teaches strategies about how to understand and draw conclusions from the text. I plan to use reading express with all my younger children.

  I absolutely love it! My son's 3 and 6 both ask could they use reading eggs. My oldest loves taking the driving test, which test their knowledge. It also gives me a break from trying to figure out testing material for my kids.

  I started this program with my daughter when she was 2.5 years old. She’s now a little over 4 and reading at the level of a 6 year old. I’ve been so impressed by the creativity of the games. They keep my daughters attention so that she’s having fun, not knowing she’s learning. It’s something she looks forward to doing, and now that we’ve been doing reading eggs for awhile, she’s had the confidence to read real books. Can’t say enough good things about reading eggs!!!

  Reading eggs is amazing! My 3 daughters use it! I can definitely say with no doubt it helped my two older daughters to master phonics, learn sight words, and decoding before they even went to pre- kindergarten! My youngest is now just starting with the program but I feel confident she will be reading in no time! I have seen how it works twice! We are consistent with the learning map and complement it with the Reading Eggs workbook! My girls ask for their lesson daily! We LOVE Reading Eggs is part of our family!

  Reading Eggs has helped fill the gaps my daughter was missing in her reading and math education. It is engaging and easy to use. My only suggestions are to have a replay option for the directions and some of the terms used are not terms commonly used in the US, which can be confusing for young children.

  Reading Eggs is a perfect learning atmosphere for kids. The interactive games have beautiful sets and characters and it is really encourages learning. The best part is learning is fun! My kids ask for reading eggs all the time and it does not feel like a chore to sit with them as they learn. We accomplish learning and some individual “mommy time” and my kids love it! Definitely worth every penny!

  My daughter and I absolutely love this. I used this site when homeschooling her through prek/kinder and she ended up being way ahead. reading at a 3rd grade level in kinder! Mathseeds is also her favorite thing to do. I like that she likes to use this on her own so there's no asking her to do things. I recommend this to everyone I talk to!

  I have been very impressed with Reading Eggs Junior. My five year old has been using the program for 4 months and his reading, spelling and phonics skills have grown and his confidence has blossomed!   When we first began the program, I was skeptical because other reading apps had been a huge disappointment. We LOVE Reading Eggs and Reading Eggspress in our homeschool and we also use Mathseeds. My kiddos ask to do the lessons every day and stay engaged the whole time. I am grateful I came across a program that works so well for my kiddo with special needs. He has grown leaps and bounds in reading since adding this to our reading curriculum. It’s fun, engaging and it’s spiral learning approach works best For our family’s learning style. I would recommend this over and over to anyone. Especially to families who have tried and have been disappointed with some of the “leading” reading/phonics apps out there. Reading Eggs is the best!
