  We love Reading Eggs! My 6 year old started off on it last year and in 1 year has grown so much, it has advanced all her levels for school. She just completed the entire map course for Reading Eggs and was so proud of herself. I highly recommend this program

  Its a fabulous program. I have a 4 years old with no interest in reading 😑 first I make her watch leapfrog everyday so she can remember the sound of the alphabet but just to memorize it doesn't help if you not practice and with this Pandemic school wasn't an option .. I try another's program beside reading eggs and didn't catch her attention at all .. Finally I found reading egg on Facebook try the free month myself to see what going on there read their annual program and I love it .. I make her play after breakfast and she catch really quickly . I bought the book on Amazon to try it reading K and math K I basically destroyed the book 😂 because I cut the reading part after her lesson so she can read for me at night before bed . I love those book now that she is almost over those one . I bought the package for kinder .. Yes! Again I am going to start all over again . When I introduce something to her I do not expect her to remember forever Its a process and probably she already forgot the first sight words so that why I bought the box with the books again with it came with books for each lesson some workbook flashcard to play totally different flashcard from the dollar stores ... This packages follow the lesson that you are teaching your kids ... I check every one and I love it.. The only think that I wish if for the books to come with rings at the side. It really hard to turn the page on the reading K .. That will be my only complain ...but resources and learning material this program is great. After my kid lesson I send her to her tablet to play with Sam . She love Sam and the little videos of Sam and friends . Keep up the good work READING EGGS. We love it . Regards from Missouri

  Reading Eggs is a fun way for my five and three-year-olds to learn while they play! We have had no issues with the website. I hope you try the app with them as well, as soon as I can get it loaded onto their tablets. I recommend Reading Eggs to my friends whenever I get the chance. I think it's a winner!!

  I am using Reading eggs, different levels, for my 2, 4 and 6 y.o. kids. They love it! The pages are very colorful, activities are engaging! They use it several times per day. I am very happy with it because it keeps them interested in the process of learning and discover new things every day! We also use worksheets which we print out. I am very pleased and kids are very happy too.

  Thank you very much for creating this app. I must say Reading eggs is very useful for my 4.5 years old daughter. You won’t believe, one month earlier, she could even not read a three letter word like cat, may etc., however after taking one month trial of this app, she can comfortably read now. She completed 10 peaks of fast phonics in just one month. The way of teaching by reading eggs is great and she got a lot of confidence and interst in her reading. Great work and please keep continuing!

  Love love love Reading eggs. We started with the free trial and we signed up for the full license which has reading, phonics and Math and we love it. My son could read simple sentences within the first few weeks. It is amazing and worth every penny.

  My only issue with Reading Eggs is how small the text is on the app. I have a child with a visual impairment and she complains that it's very hard to see and/or read things. I wish they would increase the font size on everything. Otherwise, this has been a great experience for her to help fill in "holes" in her education.

  We have always homeschooled our children. Sometimes finding engaging, up to date, programs and activities that they actually enjoy and yet really teach them and "stick" is difficult. We all enjoy Reading eggs. My kids dont mind doing school. They look forward to the games, dont mind the lessons, and are reading books of their own will in the library. My 7 year old loves that she can write a book of her very own and iton HER library shelf. I love that they dont mind, and that things are repeated in a variety of ways to make sure that concepts are truly learned, not just memorized. They actively work to earn eggs for trophies each week, and look to see how they are progressing. They can check their own standings and let me know if they have improved. Also, Reading eggs encourages independences in learning and responsibility for progress. A huge bonus is that it covers math, science and social studies as well. My single only complaint is that Homeschool lessons only go thru 2nd grade. But then what parent doesn't scream more more more. There is no way I could find another comprehensive program like Reading eggs for 3 children for the cost. We recommend it to anyone who is homeschooling or who needs to get an extra boost while they are learning online during covid.

  We have used Reading Eggs for 3 months now. My Great Nephew is learning so much. He has gone from almost no recognition of words and reading almost nothing to sounding out words and reading 3. 4 5 letter words. The site is user friendly, but if we have a question, customer service is right there to help.

  My grandson is reading at a level for a six year old and he just turned 5. Reading eggs has been the best reading learning experience and I cannot believe how quickly he learned by playing fun reading games. I highly recommend this program if you want your child to excel in reading.

  I love this app and so do my kids! It makes lessons fun and they seem to grasp the concepts pretty easily. There are a few issues with the app freezing and them having to start over a quiz. Also I would love for it to keep up with what lesson we are on for the worksheet section. For example : Johnny is on lesson 45 Reading Eggs- here are worksheets that correspond. That type of thing. Overall, I love this app!

  I love almost everything about reading egg. Its nice to have one app that teaches my 2year old and helps my 4th grader with skills she needs help with or to just learn new things. The only thing I don't like is when my youngest is on it using the app on my phone it freezes or just one wrong touch and it goes away but other than that I think its great.

  Reading Eggs has been even better than I expected. My 2 youngest children have learned so much in the past few months! My 5 and 7 year old boys both struggle with focus and have ADHD. This program keeps them interested and they are highly motivated to progress to the next levels. I have to restrict them to only and hour of play time a day, otherwise they would be on this all the time! Additionally, I really appreciate that my boys cannot "guess" their way through the program and correct answers. One of the struggles with finding a program was that many online options are too easy for the kids to guess and answers -- my 7 year old would randomly click to make progress on other programs, and he did not learn much. I LOVE that Reading Eggs gives only 3 misses before the kids start over! This means that the kids are REALLY LEARNING! As both a home school mom and a state certified teacher, I think this is the best program we have used in a long time!

  I love Reading Eggs. I'm using their homeschool plan for my 1st grade twins and have been so pleased with the whole program. One of my twins is a typical learner and the other one struggles a lot with attention difficulties and learning differences, but Reading Eggs is working great for both of them. They've made excellent progress so far, and do their lessons each day with no problems. Reading Eggs has worksheets available for each lesson, too, so they're also getting in their needed handwriting practice. The homeschool plan includes books and ideas for Science and Social Studies as well so I'm not having to supplement with a bunch of other programs.

  This program is great, but could be better. I can't get a report for the vocabulary words my son is learning, I can't get print outs of the books he reads in the ap for more practice, etc. However, the printed extra practice after each lesson is great. My son likes his much better than other programs we've tried.

  As a former teacher of 2nd, 3rd and 5th grades, I researched this site in-depth and realized how many great opportunities this had for an all encompassing approach to language arts and math, scaled to the child's learning speed, maximized interest without being overwhelming and flexibility to re-do or advance the lessons as needed. I had my for and seven year old try the sample offered and they LOVED it. They sing the letter family tunes at our dinner table and show each other their "driving tests". I also appreciate the lesson planning pages so I can know which skills my sons will be exposed to each day and enhance those with discussions or activities around our home. I also purchased the workbooks for Kinder and 2nd grade and have been really pleased with both the review pages and also the hands-on suggestions paired for each topic. I highly recommend this program and will continue to use it while my children learn from home.

  My boys love reading eggs. The site is easy to navigate and there are so many activities to keep them engaged. We use reading eggs for some of our homeschool curriculum and I love how they engage in each activity and get excited to crack the egg at the end of each lesson. Reading eggs helps me give each child one-on-one time and keep the chaos to a minimum! I highly recommend them to everyone.

  The best learn to read app we’ve used for our 4 year old. We picked it up as soon as the schools, Preschools and daycares shut down in March due to Covid-19 (in Canada). As a teacher with 20 years of experience, I’m picky about apps that say they are educational. This one is fantastic.

  I love how Reading Eggs provides individualized learning. My three year old can read at a five year old level and I would have never known where he was at and what areas I needed to focus on without Reading Eggs. I love it!

  My kids really enjoy this program...when it works. The app ALWAYS has issues loading or freezing. We have to close it out multiple times and most of the time it doesn't work even after troubleshooting.

  My daughter started reading eggs in March when we were suddenly thrown into home learning. She attends a french Immersion school so had zero learning in English up to that point. With the Reading Eggs program I have watched her learn how to sound out words and blossom into an avid reader. The lessons were short enough to maintain her interest and reviewed previous material throughout. Thanks to Reading Eggs, my daughter now reads above grade level. Thank you!!

  We had tried nearly EVERY online and reading app program! My son would balk, complain, resist and loose interest. This is the ONLY OG based program that has held his interest, progressed at an appropriate speed and that he ENJOYS!! I LOVE the simplicity of the “path” which takes him to the next lesson automatically and the excitement that is shown when correct answers are given...which keeps him motivated! I also love the NEW Fast Phonics and MathSeeds! It’s the MOST affordable, comprehensive online learning platform we have found!!

  very cool application. My kid is 5 years old. she enjoy reading eggs program. She likes to get eggs and then buy something like many stuffy. One thing is little unsatisfying, there are lots of game which is not helpful to kid. If you add about word sound or some activity for learning phonic, it might be much better to all kids. of course kids need some refresh time. but as you know, If they start game channel, they only want to spend long time in the game. so just if possible, I wanna new game which added light educational factor.   We tried a couple different learn to read programs and this one was by far the best one we tried and the only one we needed (had we found it from the start). My kids LOVE Reading Eggs (and Math Seeds as well). They ask to do it all the time. It is so fun for them and they have learned so much from it! Both are 5 years old and entering kindergarten next year and both are reading at probably a second grade level already. They read long books now. One of my children was always a more reluctant reader and struggled more than the other initially - but with Reading Eggs, she caught on very quickly and reads very well now. She had had the habit before of looking at the first letter of the word and just guessing it. But Reading Eggs helped her to know to read the whole word (not just the first letter) and how to read it. Also the software works well technically speaking and is easy to use and not clunky. We use it on an iPAD. I love watching my kids use the software and I am very impressed with it. My opinion is that a tremendous amount of effort has gone on behind the scenes to make fun, engaging and effective. Highly recommend.

  We absolutely love readings eggs, I love all of the homeschool features between the curriculum layout for all subjects for the year and the lesson plans for each lesson are great.   I like the program overall. It’s helped my 4 year old read and recognize more sight words. I’d recommend it to other parents. I renewed for my child for a whole year after trying the free month. The new quick phonics option has a lot of places it freezes though.

  Reading eggs has been the 5th or 6th program we have tried for my daughter and this is where we will stay. In 30 days she has gone from a 6 year old that told me she hated reading to a confident reader that offers to read books to me. As a middle school teacher who has seen the impact that poor reading skills have on students confidence and progress - I highly recommend this to every parent! Sign your kid up and see the difference it will make - sit with them as they do different levels and help them along when they need it. My kid is going into first grade this year confident in her reading and ahead of where she needs to be! Thank you reading eggs!

  my children 4 &6 love the readings eggs and math seeds! I have noticed improvement in their recognition skills. My older daughter has already completed kindergarten and was struggling with automaticity and fluency in her reading. This is helping to improve that. However, with all this good there are somethings that could definitely be improved upon. The newest program you can access on reading eggs is Fast Phonics. My 6 year old loves it except it freezes on her often. The tech support every time says to restart or redownload the app. This does not fix the problem for long. I have to do this every time she does fast phonics and sometimes I have to do it 2 or more times just so she can finish a lesson. Recently reading eggs lessons have started doing this too. It is becoming frustrating for both me and my children. Other than the freezing screens and glitches we enjoy the fun learning experience.

  I was first made aware of this program when my children were in kindergarten through their classroom. I was immediately in love. When it was no longer part of my childrens curriculum we purchased it for use at home. Now, a few years down the road we have purchased it for our 2 yr old granddaughter. It is hands down the best program I have come accross to date. The kids beg to get on it and fight over the computer to have a turn. Definitely worth the small yearly investment. I have recommended it over and over again to friends and to teachers. I am sure I will be continueing my yearly subscription as my granddaughter begins preschool and goes through elementary school. It is so much more than just a reading program and keeps the kids coming back for more!

  My kindergartner has been using this program since the beginning of the pandemic. His reading skills have gone from basically non-existent (only knew letters and sounds) to full on reading. He doesn't dread doing a lesson and his confidence has grown a ton. He was so down on himself in the beginning when he got stuff wrong but now that his skill level has increased he is much more positive. I was pretty concerned with his reading pre-pandemic, so it's just such a relief that he has grown so much in this area. I recently added my younger son (almost 5) onto the account as well. I've tried some similar reading programs and this has honestly been my kids favorite. It's a winner!

  Being a first year homeschool mom I picked a reading curiculum that was not a good fit for my 1st grade daughter. In my search to find another reading program I stumbled upon reading eggs, after reading the great reviews I figured i would give it a try as a suplement meanwhile I found a new reading curriculum, boy was I wrong.   My son LOVES reading eggs. We follow the kindergarten homeschool lesson plan even though he’s only going into pre-k4. We are following the plan to a tee so he gets excited every Monday when he gets to move on. He’s progressing fabulously! I love that the lessons always incorporate previous lessons so he’s always being reminded of letters and sounds he previously earned. Highly recommend this program!

  I'll start out with my biggest complaints first cause I know you're looking for it. It's the animations, I hate them. The timing is off, and that seems insignificant until you're trying to hear the instructions or letter sounds and the end of lesson music starts blaring through the speakers due to whatever glitch or incorrectly timed situation they've got going on. You can turn it off, your only options are to restart the whole lesson or listen to Captian whateverhisnameis scream his pirate song over Sam the Ant badgering you because you aren't clicking anything. By the time the song is over your child will definitely be frustrated and less willing to continue with the lesson. And Sam, please stop yelling at my child to click AM, click AM, cliCK AM, CLICK AM! (Or any other lesson with Sam). Developers please give a kid a chance to think! The last thing they need when they're feeling confused is for someone to repeatedly shout the instructions at them! They know what to do, the little ones just need a moment to process it. Other than this, i (we) love the program. Progress in reading is being made. There's a huge variety of lessons for each letter sound and future lessons review previous learned sounds, that's far different from several other programs we've tried and i really appreciate it. The lessons are fun! Perfect length to do one or two letter sounds a day without overwhelming a kid. I like the quizzes and that I can see my child's estimated reading level. And math seeds- I simply cannot say enough good about this. So, I won't. We just love math seeds! Only thing I'd change there is is there anywhere to estimate a child's math level? Just as a parent I'm super curious to know where he stands with his math comprehension

  When my granddaughter came to live with me at 6 1/2 years of age and a 4 1/2 year old reading level! After two months of Reading Eggs she has come up a year! It’s amazing how far she has come in such a short time. She was unable to read a single word two months ago and now she can read and sound out multiple words and she gets better every day!   This program is fabulous! I tutor children with considerably differing abilities and ages, and Reading Eggs helps them all. It is engaging for the students and they can't wait to see Waldo clap, or earn acorns, or be awarded with a computer game so they can crash into cones. I am delighted that the program is phonics based and also incorporates spelling, vocabulary, grammar, and math. Concepts are reviewed, but in slightly different ways so the student does not feel it is repetitive. I am very grateful that Reading Eggs and Math Eggs were recommended to me, especially during shelter-in-place due to covid 19. It has helped me help children 3-12 without meeting with them in person.   My 6 year old Son really does love Reading Eggs & Math Seeds. We did the trial and I asked if he wanted to continue because I had a great deal over Memorial Day to sign up for an annual and it was a resounding “YES!!!”. I don’t really understand the house where they purchase things to decorate with points they’ve earned, or the costumes. I feel that part could be better done because the house is so small there’s no room for the things they buy, but he still thinks it’s fun spending his points so who am I to say? He gets going on his map and really feels accomplishment as he whips through the stages. It is absolutely like a fun game for him but it is really boosting his reading and comprehension skills & the math is helpful and fun as well. I am happy if he is happy, because that is what makes him really look forward to the time he spends on this app. It works pretty seamlessly in his chrome book, no complaints there. I am shocked we could get such a great program for the price it’s offered at. Rich graphics, imaginative stories, fun animation, beautiful colors, challenging learning in the form of fun. Very pleased!

  I found this incredible online curriculum in late March 2020 and my children and I are in love! I initially was searching for a confidence builder for my daughter with Reading. She was struggling very hard with Reading in 2nd grade and I didn't know what else to do. Someone recommended that I try Reading Eggs and I am so glad I did! This worked so well for my daughter AND my other children. Not only did this help build my daughters confidence in Reading... it also kept her engaged on a consistent basis and taught her the basics that she may have forgotten from before. I love that this curriculum has a placement test, it put my child on the level where she needed to be. Fast forward to 3 months later and she has improved tremendously!! I am so thankful and so very happy her confidence is back with Reading. It brought tears to my eyes to hear the phrase "I LOVE READING NOW MOMMY!" Thank you so much reading eggs for this lovely curriculum. I have 4 children so I was so very happy to know I could get the family package and create a profile for everyone of my children as well as place them all on their unique level. Math is FUN! Reading is FUN! Spelling is FUN!!... I will be recommending this affordable, fun and engaging curriculum to others. Thanks again!

  I like the reading eggs program. I do think there could be some work done online to ensure an easier use of the website. These are my personal suggestions based off of my Own experience. The website moved around a lot. When my son was 4 he would go onto the website and try to touch the screen (tablet/iPad) and if his fingers moved outside of the designated area (wasn’t too big) it would shift the screen around. It was very frustrating for him. So I would recommend having it full screen. Where all they can see and touch is the activity. Another issue we had was audio. Sometimes the audio didn’t work for a lesson. So he will watch it but guess the correct answer because the audio went out. I was sooooo excited when you released the app!!! That meant the screen wouldn’t move anymore! But we still have audio issues. Also navigation on the app is a bit more difficult than other learning apps we have tried. But I will say this. Out of the 4 or so apps we have tried with my son, reading eggs is his absolute favorite!!! He is engaged and he gets it! He has learned phonics and started reading simple words. The only problem I am having with him is to get what he does on the screen on to paper. Because on screen he can recognize the words easy. But on paper without multiple choices he is having a hard time. But I just recently learned of the reading eggs workbook!!! So I’m definitely purchasing that. I think having it on paper as well as on the screen will help make the transition for him easier! All in all it is a fantastic program!!! From exercises to rewards... characters to songs... everything on there is appropriate and fun and my son just loves this program!!!! Oh I should include that he is a very hyper boy. Lol he usually can’t sit still for very long. But for reading eggs he doesn’t want to get off! Lol Thanks Katy for creating this program!!! I’m so looking forward to my son growing and developing this most important skill of phonics and reading with the help of your fantastic program!!!!

  I love Reading Eggs but there is one huge draw back for me, actually 2 drawbacks. The first one is there isn't a google app. The 2nd is that the internet has to be connected to use the apple app. I don’t want my child bombarded with EMF’s so this is a huge drawback.

  Overall, I like reading eggs, which is why we purchased the subscription. The ideas are well thought out. My 4 year old finds it engaging and I can see that it helps a lot with letter sounds and learning to read. The reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that the app is good enough to use (it's how we access the program) but at least on my phone we experience frequent page load delays. Also on some screens the interface is not optimized for phone use. Buttons are too small in some lessons, the games interface is overall too small - it appears to have been ported from a desktop interface without the UI redesign that's needed for smaller phone screens. My little one gets frustrated by the slow loading and the too-small touch elements.

  I sat down with my daughter multiple times to read with her and help her learn. It was stressful for both of us and I started picking up on her losing interest in reading because it was a frustrating situation for both of us. I googled how to teach kids to read and Reading eggs came up. I was skeptical and only tried it out because it came with 2 free weeks. I figured the kids would be back in school by then so would it really hurt?.... Boy I had no idea how amazing it would be for my kiddos. My children went from being behind for their age in reading to excelling! After just a a couple days they were hooked! They LOVE reading eggs more then I imagined! Most the time they ask to “play” reading eggs when they get tech time. It’s their go to “game”. Since schools didn’t reopen I paid for the Annual membership and I don’t regret it one bit! In just 4 weeks my 5 year old daughter read the book all by herself that was causing both of us so much frustration. It was amazing! She loves reading now and my 4 year old son is along for the ride in excitement! He is hooked and gets more and more confident each time he gets to do reading eggs. I tell all my friends with kids and tell their teachers all about it.

  My daughter is 8 years old and love Mathseeds as well as Reading Egg Express and Reading Eggs. She had fun learning. There could be some improvements in the games. Once she reached over 3,000 acorns, she is no longer excited because everything looks like the same. Only the arcade and mental minutes remain interesting to her.

  I love it. First we used it at my school for children K-2 and decided to try it at home with my preschool son and highly recommended it. He was improving his letter recognition and practice letter sounds. The plus he was able to stay on task for 20 minutes independently which I needed him to be able to do to get ready for kindergarten. This gave him ideas of how kinder ready he will be. My child has Autism so I have tried other programs and he loses interests requires that I help him because of the sound, or the pictures. This is one he did not complain or mind at all. Plus he calls it the egg game. I see this as a win. He thinks it is game which means he will keep playing and learning. Mom is happy he is learning and working independently. What more can I ask for.

  Reading eggs and Math Seeds are both great programs. My five year old has become a master at phonics, and I feel Reading Eggs was instrumental in that milestone. Unfortunately, we have intermittent audio issues which is problematic because audio is essential for these programs to be effective. I reached out to the Customer Service Team on my issue over a month ago and never heard back. If it was not for the audio problems (please know we experience none of these issues on other apps we use), I would rate these programs at five stars.

  We are loving reading eggs. My son has taken to it quite well and we are seeing strides in his reading during this crazy time. I only have one issue, the lessons need to have the ‘next’ button disabled until the directions have finished being established. While teaching patience is something we as a family are working on, this new generation is being brought up in a time where instantaneous feedback in expected. The battle for this “get it now” mentality is becoming exponentially more difficult to combat. The addition of tempo and pace-control during menus and teaching children to listen to the instructions and to slow down is something I think could be integrated into this amazing program.   English is not our first language, but I want my son will able to communicate well in English. The reading eggs really helps with the vocabularies and phonics.   My 4 year old loves it. We use reading eggs on our laptop using Chrome as we found bugs in it using Explorer. Once my sin started playing he became a better lister to the instructions and progressed quickly. Then he discovered that he was earning points which unlocked games for him to play. Then he discovered that each level ends in opening a new egg. He was over the moon. He also started doing the math seeds program and loves that too. His numeracy and letter/word recognition has really progressed more than I anticipated and I'm really proud of him. We ended up buying the whole year and he looks forward to his learning time. I fully recommend Reading Eggs to any parent looking for help in teaching their kids.

  Site is super easy to use! I love the adult progress it gives as well. My 3.5 year old has come a long way since starting this app. He can now spell his name, recognizes words & what they start with, he’s now starting to tell us what each letter sounds like 😊 Highly recommend this app
