  This program is used in at my kids' elementary school for my 2nd grader so I purchased it to start developing literacy skills for my 5 year old and it has been amazing. She loves it and thinks she is playing a game but actually she's developing the foundation for reading in a fun and engaging way. I am very impressed so far.

  My son’s history with asthma and the current pandemic means he has missed a lot of school. He isn’t naturally drawn to reading, writing or math and I was struggling to find ways to encourage any of these activities. I tried Kahn Academy, scholastic learning books, Kumon, writing without tears, Bob’s books, @busytoddler (who I adore) and so much more. They were all helpful but nothing really took for him specifically until…Reading Eggs has been the only learning tool that he’s really taken to. We’re so pleased with his progress and so grateful for this wonderful tool. My second child also loves reading eggs and is a total self learner. It has been a game changer for my kids, particularly so during the pandemic. I am forever grateful to the Mom who referred me to Reading Eggs. Please come out with some more Spanish language learning tools :) I love Reading Eggs because my kids love it!

  I'm only giving this a three because of the download availability of this app. I really love this app and it is really helping my two oldest children but I hate having to give up my phone for them to be able to use the app. I recently purchased a tablet for them to use but the app is not available on the tablet which was a bummer as that was the whole reason behind purchasing the tablet. I hope one day the app is available for more devices.

  This is one of the app that I never regret getting for my 4y toddler. She enjoys every bit of the program/game. It helps her learn how to read in the fun way not frustrating her at all. Parents, you gotta try this app. I actually enjoy playing with her.

  I started reading eggs when my daughter’s first grade teacher told me she was still reading at a kindergarten level. While I knew she was struggling some, I did not know she was months or maybe 1/2 a year behind. After about 10 weeks with Reading Eggs at home, she’s on level! Her teacher can’t believe the difference! We will continue to supplement her school time with Reading Eggs at home because this program is what made her successful!

  Children of color have a difficult time picking out an avatar that looks like them... very limiting in the shading...so they are forced to pick some type of animal... this is borderline offensive. The activities are creative but, are repetitive ... once the child has excelled through 1-2 levels they are bored quickly because it is the same exact type of activities they just completed but, just with different vocabulary or higher numbers... there is a need for variety at every level... I do recognize the growth and look forward to more growth...

  Absolutely love this app!!! It is filled with fun and awesomeness. My 2 year old enjoys it too... He spends hours on it. His tablet recently broke so we missed out on a couple of days, but we're back and loving it. He's a smart boy and this app really allows him to utilise what he's learnt to date. It also nurtures and appreciates his skills and encourages him to do better, to keep trying and improving. But in essence, it is a must have, a really great addition to any child's life. It is not just educational, it is packed with fun too. Highly recommended.

  I LOVE the program, my son had gone up 1.75 in his reading age level in 6 months! I didn’t know much about reading eggs, it was my last resort before we got a tutor and we no longer need a tutor! Reading eggs changed our educational future and I am thankful.

  My kids LOVE reading eggs. However, parts of the program are producing the sounds wrong. For example, the program voices unvoiced sounds. For sounds /h/ and /t/ the program says, “huh” and “tuh.” I assume it is this way for other unvoiced sounds, but have not yet explored the program in depth. Voicing unvoiced sounds is a big problem for a lot of kiddos who are learning to read and who have difficulty reading. I hope they make the necessary changes because the program is excellent aside from those substantial errors.

  My daughter loves this app. She calls it school. She knows alot of what's already on here but it's teaching her to read and write. She won't be 3 til the end of April. So im super excited to see her learn and love learning new things. I would 100% recommend this app to all my friends and family.

  My daughter was really struggling with reading (6) to the point of concern. Within the first day of using the app, she was able to identify and sound out small words. She enjoys playing the games and realizing she is capable. I am so glad I found this app. 100% recommend. Most of the worksheets are extremely helpful though the printing worksheets threw her off a bit due to shape of the letters vs what she is learning in school. Not sure if the difference (swoop tails) is a CAD vs US thing or not.

  Some of the voices are American. For an Australian program it is annoying as unfortunately most media my child consumes is American, and this just adds more but I have to pay for it. My child enjoys the games but the constant egg ding ding noise reminds me of the sound rewards employed by pokies that leads to addiction. When my child finishes a level there is one noise where the eggs come but soon after there is a second which is not associated with anything. It is a decent program and has a wide array of activities which keeps my child interested and hopefully will be able to read a bit.

  Great educational program. Very honest and simple without alot of the "extra" unnecessary thing which I love how strait to the point the material is. The only thing I would improve would be the accessibility of the lessons and assessment. It give alot of options initially and I feel "unlocking" play or free mode would be a great incentive for little ones. There is no an app for Android Google play that I haven't seen yet and that would make a big difference for our family. However I would definitely purchase this subscription again because it has a great lessons that build on eachother and its a wonderful switch from other adulational software.

  I signed up for a 30 day free trial. The volume didn’t work in the app half the time. The app kept glitching and the activities where odd. I was told that I no longer had access after about a week and a half. My daughter never asked to do this app. I’ve heard great things but I was not impressed at all.

  Our 3 year old son is actually starting to love to learn and loves the game on Reading Eggs Junior. Our 5 year old daughter already loved to learn, but it zooming through her learning maps and starting to recognize and sound put words. Super exciting to experience Reading Eggs with them and watch them learn and grow their love for words and numbers! They especially love the Eggsperts show and talk about watching it every day.

  Reading eggs has opened up many doors for my son, especially with his speech issues and gives him the confidence to read out load , he really likes the games and I noticed he starting to sound out the words and putting them together. Thank you reading eggs!

  We have tried different scholastic programs for our grandson. Reading eggs is the only one that catches his attention. He even comes to us and asks if it’s time to do homework. We’ve also caught him trying to sound out words! He’s 5 years old and has improved so much in the month we’ve been using reading eggs.

  We signed up for the 30 day trial of Reading Eggs and there were some things we liked a lot and others that made the experience lack luster overall. I was using the site as a supplement to what we already do in our homeschooling routine and we enjoyed the variety of activities! We never earned enough points for the girls to change their avatar and having used ABC Mouse in the past, this was something that they asked about each time we logged on. Again we were only supplementing so we weren’t on for lengthy times or each and everyday really. The letter Ss they did NOT enjoy at all!! The spider looked scary according to them and when I saw a drooling, giant spider with all those eyes…I also was put off. It was REALLY hard to convince them to want to use the program after that. But I did enjoy getting into some of the smaller vocabulary words. Maybe I should have started there and we would have had a better experience. I should have done the assessment because I think they may could have started at a different place to be challenged more but I was thinking let’s start from the beginning to really evaluate and review what they may already know. I enjoyed the parent directed emails with additional activities and seeing where they had strong skills that were evaluated by their ability to complete activities.

  The activities are so engaging. My two year old loves it and so does my 5 year old. My 5 year old spends all day sounding out words wherever we are. She loves the lessons and the surprises that come with it. My 2 year old likes the books and videos and has done amazing with the little activities geared for his attention span. There are a couple things we are still trying to navigate through and try to figure out. It has been hard to figure out how to “use” the stars and coins she earns to “buy” things. Maybe as we spend more time looking we can figure it out. She really enjoys her Reading Eggs. In her fast phonics activities, she loves the flying fur balls. They crack her up as well as helping her learn.

  Love this program! My 4 year old is reading like an 8 year old and we just started a month ago. He spends hours playing, and asks to do his school as soon as he wakes up. I love how much he enjoys it and how easily he can understand it!

  We have tried a few different programs and products to help our son learn. He is a very reluctant learner unless it is something he wants to learn. He could probably get a phD in dinosaurs or gardening but letters and numbers don't have a lot of interest....This program has grabbed his interest and he is doing awesome....he points out sounds now when we are out. He is in Kindergarten but this is helping him way more than his Kindergarten phonics program is. I just hope it continues to help him

  This program has been very helpful for my 1st grader. She’s struggles with letter sounds/recognition and it frustrated her to ever get any of them wrong. This program is rewarding and it can be self-taught enough that she doesn’t feel like a failure when she gets something wrong. The only part I don’t like is how often the program reads to her: I would like her to have to sound the words out a bit more often/for it to be a little harder to guess the answers. she’s only been using it for one month so maybe it’ll be more challenging as she progresses. It’s hard for me to not be more hands on with her reading, as I taught my older three kids to read and it seems a computer is teaching this one.

  My 5 year old son went from not knowing how to read to reading in about 2-3 weeks and that’s only about 2-3x a week, 20 min each session. He’s never been so engaged and motivated. The game helps kids feel encouraged and the graphics and cartoons are so interactive. He only lives Fast Phonics though. He doesn’t feel like the other programs stimulate him enough but I still encourage him to try just to “level up,” and also get a prize from Mom!

  Incredible! I love this program as much as my kids! It is a win, win, win. Get it! It's worth the money. My 5 year old spent 3 hours on the math and when I asked her to come eat she begged for more time!!! Phonics are great - I love the Yeti and fur ball characters. Kids are 4, 5, 10 and all of them enjoy this program (12 is probably too old, unless there is a learning gap you are trying to correct).

  Last year I used ABC Mouse and struggled to make it interesting enough for my kids. There were seldom times they would request it. I found reading eggs on a blog post and decided to give it a try, my son who is 4 and not interested in learning LOVED this program! He requests it daily. I love how repetitive the lessons are, while still making it engaging and fun. You also get reading, phonics, math and can do social studies (by utilizing the library) overall it’s a fantasist program and keeps my 4 and 6 year old engaged.

  We're only 1 month in but my 5 year old is reading new words everyday because of this program. We use the workbooks and do the corresponding work as we move through the virtual map perfecting letters and learning new sight words. And not only does my 5 year old work in the program but my 4 year old and 2 year old also have logins and can do age appropriate literacy activities on the website too. And they all love it!   Highly recommended - engaging game-style lessons keeps my 3.5 year old interested in learning phonics. The gains are real. She can read simple sentences and sound things out now after only a month.   Some of the letters are confusing for my daughter, uppercase “i”looks like a lowercase “L”and a few things like that. Otherwise we are pleased. I would recommend this company fix those things so it’s the same throughout their website or app. and also they use multiple different styles of “a” which my kids have all struggled with a bit.

  Reading eggs taught my six year old daughter in less than 2 months. I would recommend the app to any parent who would like their kids to learn how to read.   I am amazed at the level of progress my son made in just 4 months of using reading eggs. We recently started homeschooling and we were following curriculum when he showed an interest in reading which was implemented slowly within the curriculum. with reading eggs as our supplement he managed to make huge strides in just a few months and as mother I watched his confidence grow and he has become even more excited about reading more books. I am grateful and reading eggs works. I would definitely recommend to friends and family

  Reading eggs I found to be very good, but unfortunately I need to try and limited my child's screen time more as it seems to be influencing her concentration to some extent. I also can't afford the fee currently.

  I was having trouble with teaching my last two to read. I am rethinking how I handle reading and writing instruction. Reading Eggs has helped so much and it is fun for my kids. Even my older kids like to check it out. I’m glad I tried the free trial and I will be purchasing a subscription today!

  My son couldn't figure out how to pass to the next level. It seemed he had to repeat the same activities multiple times and then could never get to the next level. This was discouraging and so he then chose to do an easier activity which was way to easy and was phonics.

  This is a complete learning package that deliver results. My 4 yo kid not only is learning, she enjoys doing her lessons on her own. She can read CVC words & basic sentences. I also like program’s library & extra practice resources. Highly recommend Reading Eggs

  My 5 year old son loves reading Eggs! This was our first year homeschooling. He would have been in preschool in public school but now he's reading! I tried many other things before reading Eggs and nothing stuck. He begs to do his app sometimes because he enjoys it so much!   My job is IT support. the programme is not intuitive. Cant find where my son can read. I use IXL and that works better however there are no easy books to read for a 7 year old. I had hoped to find that in Reading Eggs. But never did

  I homeschool my kids and we've been using this program for the last year and a half and my kids love it. It's the only program that has ever worked for us. It made such a difference with my one son who was seriously struggling with letter identification and letter sounds. After using the the program and free activity sheets that go with the lessons he's reading and he's so proud of himself. I'm so happy with how far he's come and reading eggs absolutely played a huge role in getting him to where he's at today. I would recommend this program to any family whether they homeschool or not.

  This 4-year old boy is busy and very easily distracted. He struggles to sit still. We discovered ReadingEggs and he has gone from not knowing his letter sounds to sounding out words and reading short sentences in four months.
