  I started with a competitor’s product in January of this year. My 5 year old wasn’t picking the material up and he didn’t enjoy it. So many have recommended Reading Eggs and now I know why. My son went from being unable to read to reading several sight words and simple sentences. He’s so proud of himself and I’m so proud of him. We are homeschooling and Reading Eggs as well as Math Seeds has helped keep me sane. I tell everyone that I know to try RE. I So thankful to have found it.

  Right about half of the time the audio doesn’t even come through so my son, as well as myself for that matter, doesn’t know what the task at hand is. If this was fixed, it would be much better.

  My kids have been using this as part of their homeschooling for over a month and it has been fantastic! They are loving it! The interactive part that the kids use is exceptional compared to other programs! The only downfall is that because we are homeschoolers we have a family account and the data available for me to view on the work they do is minimal. If they are part of a school account their teacher is watching their progress with much more detailed data. A great improvement would be an affordable option for homeschool families to get the same data as the teachers do!

  My great grandson enjoys reading readingeggs, and material. He likes to be able to pick from the animals moving on the page. He has gotten comfortable with reading out loud, asking for help to punctuate words he does not know, and words I thought he could not pronounce he can pronounce with no problems.

  My grandson really loves eggslearning. He's 5 and we're working together to get ready for homeschooling next year. He has to have one on one direction and I enjoy it as much as he does. He thinks it's a game every day. That makes I fun for both of us.

  We're in our first month of Reading Eggs with our 4 kids and are absolutely loving it. Our 7 year old has grown by leaps and bounds in just 2 weeks. I'm amazed and just sad I didn't try this sooner.

  I have been using this program in my Early Childhood Education class. My grandchildren enjoy the the interactive games. My students practice teach in my classroom. I have several subscriptions to other educational programs and Reading Eggs are one of my favorites.

  How can I log out for one child and sign in for another easiest? Right now, I have to close the tab, then a log out sign comes up for child who's playing and I go from there.

  I was not happy with the level my youngest son was put in. It seemed much tooo diff it. When I pressed the button to redo the placement test it does not give me the new results and only part of the test was redone. He is not enjoying the process and I’m really trying to keep him going.

  We highly recommend giving Reading Eggs a try for your child or children. It was easy to download the app onto our devices, then we signed in with our free 30 day trial. It definitely did not take 30 days to see that our oldest son was hooked. The graphics, catchy sounds and songs, and everything that comes along with Reading Eggs is a must. Our oldest is three going on four, and found Reading Eggs to be fun and helpful. We, as parents, have enjoyed watching his journey so far. We catch ourselves humming or singing a tune, and we love hearing and seeing his excitement at getting answers right. We love that prizes are awarded and that you can see a progress report along the way. We are utilizing Reading Eggs for a minimum of 15 minutes daily, and love that our oldest sons learning will continue for years to come using this subscription. It is perfect for families and great for on-the-go or at home. We love that we can take this with us from place to place thanks to our devices. We have never had issues with any connection or sound, etc. Customer service is absolutely amazing and helped us out on our trial period and when signing up. We highly recommend Reading Eggs so you can see the progress your children make based on their reactions in person and on their progress report.

  We’ve been using this program for about 2 weeks now. If I’m being completely honest, I feel like the higher-ups of this company are not advertising this program to its full potential. Reading Eggs offers a full curriculum! It’s already spelled out in a beautiful pacing guide. Every single reading lesson has corresponding worksheets and mini books to go along with it, already included in the price and available to you. I have NEVER seen this program talked about on social media as anything more than a supplemental educational game. It’s SO much more than that. My ASD/ADHD was struggling with our homeschool LA curriculum. I tried this “game” to help him and, within a day of perusing the “Bonus Material,” had made the solid decision to make Reading Eggs his core LA and Math curriculum. Additionally, my other child who is advanced for his age is also loving this program. I’m using it as more of a supplement for him, but he really loves the worksheets, the booklets, and he ADORES the cute characters at each level. The marketing department really needs to shout from the rooftops that this is a curriculum and can be followed as such for early grades. I’m thinking of doing my own videos just because the need is there and I believe in this do much!

  I absolutely love this program and so do my kids! The assessments are very kid friendly and short enough not to overwhelm them. The lessons are so engaging that my kids are also spending longer time on them than expected. I’m excited to use this program on a daily basis to support my children’s learning goals.

  My daughter struggled with learning her alphabet sounds and really just was not interested in doing so with the methods I was using. I stumbled upon reading eggs and decided to give it a try, and it was like something clicked within her. She really enjoys the activities and is excited to learn. It didn’t take her long at to pick up on her letter sounds, she even began sounding out words and recognizing sight words! Reading Eggs will definitely continue to be a vital resource in our home.

  Its fun for my 4 year old but my issue is that its marketed to teach your child to read within 30 days. The reading activities are not engaging and i wish there was more to choose from. Its a great app, but i there could be more phonic activities.

  We love Reading Eggs! Fast Phonics has been especially helpful for our kindergartener. We also really love Math Seeds! The content is wholesome and engaging. Lessons are slow enough to ensure understanding but quick enough to stay engaging. Reviews and quizzes are awesome and I love the email reports that are sent occasionally with updates on your student's progress. And the worksheets to go along with the lessons are great too! We will be using Reading Eggs and Math Seeds in our homeschool curriculum next year! Customer service is also amazing. So kind and easy to work with. Would 10/10 recommend to everyone!

  I love reading eggs! It works well for my kids. My son had trouble with spelling and reading and after using reading eggs he just kept improving and doing so well! One downside though is it takes a little bit of time to load some things other than that we absolutely love it!

  I had tried two other well known programs. The software was difficult to navigate. One had far to many options. They really didn’t make learning fun, and everything just seemed to progress to quickly for a three year old to grasp. I’m a geek and considered the apps to be to much. My granddaughter has made it through lesson 1 of the Reading Eggs Junior program. She has also completed lesson one of the MathSeeds program. Basic math was already easy for her. These are bite sized lessons that combine songs, videos, worksheets, and games to help her learn. Each lesson offers printouts with easy to follow instructions. The learning curve around the software is fairly easy. I prefer to view the program through a browser as the iPhone app seems a bit buggy. We’ll see how the developers keep up with Apple’s frequent updates. To sum it up, I no longer feel like I’m teaching, but just helping her learn. She loves it and she’s progressing quickly now.

  Great program. Using this for two Thai children's first efforts to learn English. Overall a great effort to build a learning tool that incorporates how children's brains process learning language. I am not an expert regarding how to teach English to non-native speakers but think that this program might have opportunities for improvement. Non language teaching components (intros, etc.) are probably a bit more meaningful and useful to children who are in an English speaking home. Also the program easily allows 'progress' with obvious letter and word matching without having to actually sounding out the individual phonics to make a word. I do have extensive education, teaching and consulting experience. I have become conversational in several languages as well as read and write the Thai language. I share this with you only in the event that you might want to chat more about our experience. Thank you for your product. It is clear that a tremendous amount of thought and development has gone into its creation. The children are excited about learning English and making good progress.

Curious- did you consider that foreign language speakers would be so interesting in using your program.   My 6 year-old daughter struggles terribly with letter sounds, blending letters and therefore reading. She has low self confidence in this area and never wants to practice. Reading eggs changed that! She now wakes up early, at her request, so that she can complete a lesson before school. As a mom, I chose Reading Eggs because I love the parent tracking report. It keeps me posted on progress and more importantly shows whether or not they are actually completing tasks or playing (ie. dressing up the avatar). I actually use Reading Eggs for my 5 and 8 year old's as well. The assessment test parks them in the appropriate level, which I find spot on. Definitely recommend this site!!!

  Overall I am pleased with the program. A few suggestions: have the capital letter 'I' appear in both forms. My daughter has an l (L) in her name, and it was confusing at first. Also, a few of the pictures to match with words are not what a 5 year old would be able to connect with IMO. for instance, the word 'fat' was to be matched with a picture of a ribeye steak with an arrow pointing to the outer fatty portion of the piece. But overall, I think this is a great way to increase phonemic awareness.

  Great games and my kids like it but price is VERY steep for what is provided. Be careful- it will say you are signing up for a discounted monthly payment but it is fake. You will be charged full price despite any links/ codes. Might be worth it if you kids spend multiple hours per day on the device using this.

  Thank you. We aren't as thrilled with the MathSeeds, but it has many benefits as she is showing almost all the way thru 1st grade math on another program.. With that said, one thing we do like about it is its using the words, that she needs to focus on... WE do like it Please know that we do enjoy it and we have our subscription paid for a full year. I do like it for reading and its perfect.. I know my daughter can read a lot of word, but shows her at a much lower level, and i don't mind that because she hates that aspect of school right now.. She does like this REading eggs though and so do i. We are continuing to enjoy the programs!

  I believe reading eggs is grooming children. I believe this because Mr. wiggles the egg drops his pants inorder to review a surprise. This allows children to be desensitized to the act of a grown up dropping their pants with a surprise. My girls immediately thought it was inappropriate. I believe there was options of a rabbit , a cock( chicken) and one other thing. It was just very subliminal, they try to hide it. Also, one of the math games are literally little sperms floating around. The whole oval with the squiggly tail. These are things that an older child would put together after taking the applicable science course. I noticed this when my child asked me for help with an equation. I was thrown off entirely and showed my husband and he knew exactly what I was talking about with just one glance. What are you doing to our children reading eggs? I didn't sign up for my children to be desensitized to sexual innuendo via your platform. You think your clever and the unwitting parent is not paying attention to these kinds of things. Well I'm not one of them. I am very involved with my children and what they are exposed to.

  I really like how easy it is to move around the website--from parent areas to each child's tab and anything I'm looking for I can find! I also love that it's learning incorporated into each game...   My 5 yr old was falling behind in kindergarten. She has a very hard time staying on task, so her reading was that of a 4yr old. We have been doing reading eggs for about four months now. Her teacher and I have both seen great improvements with her. Best part is she stays entertained and would rather do reading eggs than her homework. The experience we have had has been great and I would definitely recommend, especially for the cost. Well worth the investment.

  Being a great-grandmother "raising" a (now) 5 yo great-grandson, this is an excellent program for homeschooling. The activities are easily understood and he loves earning eggs for the next certificate and playing games. Some of the pictures are a little "confusing" but with the voice prompts...it helps a lot!   This app is amazing! Seriously cannot give it enough praises! If I could give it 100 stars I would. I have a 4 year old that I am homeschooling who went from only knowing her letters to knowing how to read short words in just a few weeks. She loves that she can do reading eggs, math seeds and fast phonics to switch it up. Her knowledge of numbers and counting is also growing so fast. My 6 year old is behind in 1st grade with her reading and math so I have been making her try this app out everyday. She actually loves it. It has been giving her confidence in reading and forming words. The best part about this app is when I tell my girls its time for reading eggs they don't get bummed out or try to get out of it. They actually have fun learning with this app. We have tried ALOT of school apps and none of them come close to reading eggs. Thank you reading eggs!

  I started homeschooling and felt that the kids were missing some fun in their learning. My friend suggested reading eggs and it was just what we were missing. You start at each child's level so they build skills they may be missing. My oldest struggled with focus in school and would get very frustrated, adding this she feels she's playing a game and is able to focus so it helps me as a mom and their teacher and helps my kids in the long run !

  I have tried different programs and reading Eggs has been the best. My granddaughter was struggling with site words and since she's been doing Reading Eggs, she has come a long way.   I love the Fast Phonics in the library. My students get good practice with the phonics they need, and it also tests their comprehension with the quiz at the end. The site is very engaging and it is now my awesome partner in phonics instruction in the classroom.

  I love the idea of this program however, my children do not do a lot of technology therefore we do not have expensive tablets for them. The apps were unable to be loaded to their tablets. I do not agree with my kids having open internet access, so with no other choice as to how to be on Readingeggs, we canceled our membership.

  My 4 year old son has enjoyed this new way of learning SO much. He is super excited when it's time for Reading Eggs! I like that the navigation of the map is easy to learn and that I don't need to help him figure out where to look for things, he picked it up fairly quickly. His older siblings like to cheer him on as he learns new letter sounds and collects the cute animal critters along the way. My son is also excited to share with Daddy after he is home from work, when he is finished with the lessons. I am thrilled to see him learning in this fun, creative way that teaches computer skills, like using a mouse. We don't have a tablet, so he is learning to control his motor skills as well as recognizing letters! Thank you Reading Eggs!!!

  It is a great learning app with a couple flaws. When we try to play it on our newer ipad the game mutes itself and you cannot undo it. I tried turning it off and on, redownloading it and restarting the ipad. My daughter redid the assessment test 5 times...the other issue we have found is getting explanation for activities. We can't get it to repeat directions if she missed something.

We believe sound issues with Apple devices to be resolved with this latest update, but let us know if the issue persists! Regarding the directions, from within the lesson you can always click the arrow near the left of your screen, then select "home" at the bottom of the drop-down menu and re-enter the lesson if you need to hear the directions at the beginning again.   The lessons are good, a little difficult for a beginner 4 year old, not varied enough, need more repeat of different types of games on one letter before moving to next. Plus, each egg contains the same “games” - so far. The picture word match, is not a favourite. Once that comes up, I lose him, because he has to do the same thing twice. Don’t have them do the same thing twice right after each other. It’s not engaging after the first time, it’s frustrating. So You take a 4 year old pretty quick. But I know I can repeat lessons. Biggest thing right now is The library does not have nearly enough books and they are confusing to find, you have them ordered by age or Lexie level - I put age 5 and a few or nothing shows up, either I am doing something wrong or your library is vary sparse. You really need a GOOD library to supplement the lessons, Epic is a perfect example. No one wants to have to pay for two apps. But we can’t use your library for books, not robust enough. I’d say put some money into your library for a good return on investment and keeping people subscribed, parents read to their kids at night.

  In my own observation to my daughter using the readingeggs.com is very helpful and she learns so fast and having fun while at the same time she's learning.   Love! Love! Love this program! My 3 and 6 y/o children are excelling in their phonics and reading skills. My 9 y/o asks to play Reading Eggs in his spare time. Besides the reading lessons, there is so much more that we’ve enjoyed as a family like the science videos and Eggsperts cartoon. My only wish is that there were an app for their tablets so they can play Reading Eggs on the go! Well done!

  I love Reading Eggs! My most favorite part is when the characters state the sound of the letter for my child to find. Teaching those sounds are so important and preps them for reading!! It really supports what my child is learning in class. There are also free worksheets that I can print out and give as a reinforcer to what is being taught!   Starting homeschooling I used Horizon reading curriculum bc my daughter is dyslexic and it was a suggested curriculum, it was expensive and we absolutely hated it. It was a struggle to get my daughter to do it everyday. Then a friend told us about Reading Eggs, we did the free trail (still using the free trail) and it has been amazing! She loves to earn eggs to create her apartment, she loves the stadium and I love the 5 components of reading all built into one program. I have my masters and endorsement as a reading specialist so I love the one it was create and the vocabulary being introduce then also in the reading text. The few things I don’t like are: There is some errors If my daughter gets something wrong I wish there was a noise that indicated that (many times she doesn’t want me to sit with her, but then when she gets something wrong I don’t know). All in all, I would definitely recommend! Also- I love the worksheets that you can print to go alongside!

  We have been using Reading Eggs for over a week now. We use it in addition to our homeschool curriculum. My kids love it. It's easy to navigate and fun!   We really love the program but we won't be continuing with a subscription. My husband and I think many of the songs and song graphics are very inappropriate for our child. Like "Jumping up and down until our pants fall down" and the Pirates pants fall down showing his boxers.

  The reading Eggs suite of products is amazing. During homeschooling related to covid school closures, I got to use it with my kindergartener. He was just learning phonics in school, using word lists and sound charts. When Reading Eggs came into the picture, he even asked to get on Fast Phonics and Reading Eggs, rather than dreading it. That child learn to read very quickly with the reinforcement of this dynamic, user-friendly, fully loaded program that is so affordable. I now have my youngest grandson on it, as he begins to navigate learning phonics and reading as well. He also asks to do it even after a day of regular school. I cannot say enough good things about this product. The printables are amazing to reinforce what they learn online and to give an option for no- screen days. The fact that multiple children can share the program within a family is wonderful since the older of the two grandsons now still looks through the book Library and even still asks to do Math Seeds. This program rocks. It is also nice that I can send the progress reports to the children's teachers so they can see what I'm doing at home to supplement their classroom activity. Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a great value!
