  Hello Joseph, Tax returns can be sent electronically to the IRS if it is a current year return. The IRS has made the filing process quite simple for current year returns, however, this is not the case for prior year returns. If you opt to use an online website, like Priortax.com, for a prior year return the IRS requires that the return is signed by the taxpayer. Unfortunately, we cannot sign your tax return for you. You return is delivered as a PDF which can be downloaded and signed minutes after payment and mailed to the IRS by you.

  It was somewhat disappointing to read… It was somewhat disappointing to read on the I.R.S. website I qualified for free tax preparation due to age and income. Being sent to another preparer's site which charged me, was nonetheless disappointing, again. The service, however, was complete and accurate.

  I have used this program for 7 years I have used this program for 7 years. I am always filing prior years and it is fantastic! I have used the complicated Turbo Tax program and several others. I went to Liberty Tax 1 year and they charged me over $800 to do my return. This is the best!

  Many problems Update. They reached out to me, I was able to speak to lady who helped fix the problems. Subsequent return that I filed went smoothly. I do recommend them, and plan to use them in future.Many problems. Locked me into hopeless dead end, had to redo entire return.It has little assist for some very unclear instructions. The delay in giving me the result is the last straw...I NEED IT NOW so my wife can take it to her employers accountant. This delay is profoundly unsettling, I may have to redo this entire return. Other that that, it is a GREAT program.

  34.95 Just to use their site you have to mail prior returns in. A joke because you lead people to believe that u can still file their previous taxes when all along you are paying 34,95 to do them on your site they still have to be mailed in. and they can not save a copy right away like turbotax and the other sites you have to wait 24 hours why??

Our website states you may have to wait 24-48 hours if you opted for a review from one of our tax agents or if your return requires additional review.

  I like this much better than HR block I like this much better than HR block - HR block wouldn't let me change from filing single to joint for some reason so my return was saying I would only get about $540 back. I decided to try Prior for 2018 and since it allowed me to file jointly my return was over $4000! Thank you Prior!
