  Wrongly computed payment instead of a credit on state I had good experiences in other years, but for my state return there was no provision for a significant credit (that they did initiate last year) until I called to ask. They added the provision and indicated online that I was due a refund, but the return submitted omitted the credit so that I owed payment. When I called customer service again I was told that the credit had to be entered manually at their end and was omitted. They prepared an amended return that I had to mail in. They did not offer a refund of payment for the state filing until I asked. Not the very lowest rating because the company did respond and take some steps to make it right, but the error would have been costly if I’d just trusted them. I would have had an easier time doing it myself or using one of the many other providers of the same service.

  I had to go back and forth between… I had to go back and forth between screens several times to assure the AGI was correct. There's still concern for me on this but I'm not the specialist as this program is supposed to be. Given those concerns I will have this reviewed by a ""live"" not virtual person. (And therefore incur more expense.) $80 to deal with virtual review people is too much $$$$$.

  Great it was easy to use but it didn't have some of the areas to claim items such as the credit for the military months served while in active duty years of service for the discount... I probably needed the more complex return to do as ours can be complicated... but at leaste I get it filed then I can take it to my CPA to fix and amend... these times are hard right now with the COVID19 so unable to get to my CPA. thank you for being available for this!

  Saad Sultan is a lifesaver! I first found Prior Tax online when I had to file a lot of past returns due to a hardship in my family. Saad Sultan was the one who I was connected with when I requested the CPA review feature. Not only did he make the process of filing several old returns fairly painless, he helped me to file an Offer in Compromise which was successful and saved me thousands of dollars. He got me back on track and current with all my filing obligations, and I will continue to use him for all things tax related. Saad is pleasant, professional, understanding, and got things done in a timely manner. He answered tons of my questions and had a lot of patience. Highly recommend!

  I needed to file for a previous year… I needed to file for a previous year quickly and this was a fast and effective system to work with. I received my copy by e-mail the same day which enabled me to get it in the mail right away. Since this program is much less expensive than others and I had a good experience I used it for filing my 2019 taxes. Hoping all goes just as smoothly. One thing I found annoying was that if I wanted to make changes to a section, it erased everything in that section instead of just allowing me to go in and change the one box I needed.
