  I ordered something for a Christmas gift. After 2 weeks I still hadnt gotten it so I called and was told they were back ordered but would be mailed that day....called back a few days later and was told the same thing again. Needless to say I did not get the gift in time for Christmas. The first two times I called they didnt seem very friendly however when I called the 3rd time they were nice..I asked to get my money back and cancel the order and within a few days I did receive my money but I would not order from Penn Tool again.

  Initial queries about the product in which I was interested were not replied to, despite two attempts. Having found the information elsewhere, I placed my order but it took a while for a confirmation to be sent. As the order progressed, every communication seemed to come from a different person with a different presentation - they might have been separate companies. I was requested to pay the shipping separately but having paid the first invoice, I received a second, which then had to be cancelled. On shipping, the first parcel contained the goods for another customer and could not be stopped so I had to track the parcel through UK customs and reject it when payment was required. This necessitated several calls to the customs offices, who were very helpful. The correct item was received a few days after (and 25 days from the order) but was not well packed and was loose in the box. In all this process was a bit of a mess and I would suggest a more cohesive approach to communications, prompt replies to queries and better attention to detail throughout. Everyone from Penn Tool were courteous and apologetic but this is not the way to handle transactions in this very competitive era.

  Site navigation maybe could have been a litter clearer. Did have to call customer service to verify whether or not a probe tip was included with the 3D tester. Rep said there was NOT one included, so I purchased two standard probe tips. Turns out there was one included with the tester. I suppose it's better to have too many than not enough! Delivery turnaround was reasonable. All in all -- good experience.

  Customer service called me two days after I had put in my order and changed the price. I had already paid for the item but they said their policies allow them to change pricing. The item arrived in good condition and as described, but just beware that they can change the price at any time, even after your order has been paid for.

  The warehouse had this item on back order. Not one person from the company had the common courtesy to contact me and let me know. I had to followup with them to find out where my product was. So, communication is not PennTool's strong point.

  Excellent tool. Only problem is that web page and CS rep did not indicate the collet set ($12.95 extra) was necessary for this Rotary Tool. Another tool they sell does not require the collet set but is more expensive. Once missing part was identified, they shipped for free but I still had to make additional purchase and wait over a week for them to arrive.

  Navigation of the web site is easy and straight forward. The adverts see item did not list all that the item came with, had to call to see if other item came with my purchase. Was expecting the item faster than I received item. Had the call Penn to find out what the hold until was. Found out they did not carry the item and had the item sent from manufacturer.

  First time ordering from Penn Tool. Bought 2 clamps, one was defective.Craig Kaprowski replaced the defective clamp and checked the replacement for proper operation before sending. I am encouraged to do business with companies who look after even small details and make the customer satisfied.

  Rebar cutter-bender arrived in good shape. I used it already with no problems. very sturdily built, should last for years. I like the fact that Penn Tool has replacement cutters for it. Veteran owned and the fact that this tool is made in the USA is a plus. Mike E

  Order took a long time to arrive, then I had to return it. I would have liked a particular stone that apparently only comes in a set, but it is not sold separately. The one I finally got is adequate and works fine for my purposes.
