  Moving is a stressful experience when you are doing it yourself and for the most part the pick up date and delivery date was not filled with stress. Two matters that I would have liked improvement. One, I paid extra to have my things put in a storage facility and I believe my items were just jammed into the storage area. Two, my dresser & bike were damaged. I only reported my dresser and was denied compensation even though I paid for the most expensive coverage and provided pictures of the movers with my damaged item in their hands. I went through the process but had no confidence it would be found in my favor. I would not use this company again unless I didn’t have a choice.

  What was verbally promised did not occur (our things would only be on one truck and not stored); no communication; the packers were over 3 hours late and packed terribly. Several items broken. Then our move was delayed by 11 days due to original driver’s truck breaking down and having to wait until next available truck. Our sales rep and coordinator did not call or communicate anything with us. We had to make all the calls to find out information on why the packers were late, then no one told the movers the next day that the packing was not completed. Packers were left stranded at our house for 90 minutes after they clocked out because no one remembered to come pick them up.

  Fantastic! It was a seamless process from the initial contact, contract process and having a point of contact person to a fabulous team of movers! Both moving teams in our pick up and drop off cities were kind, polite and very careful with our belongings. Really great experience with a lot of peace of mind that we were being taken care of. Highly recommend!

  Things happen, I understand. But they were hours late coming to pack our house. Some items were broken in the move. For the money we paid I hoped for a little better results. But I know it’s just problems that occurred, not really anyone to blame.

  Great service - the consultant took an accurate inventory to price our move with a few variables we hadn’t yet decided on. We also changed it after signing the contract and the price went down which was great. Good communication leading up to the move and the guys were very considerate with the home we were leaving and arriving at - mats down to protect the floors. Took note of all items on the way out and counted them back on the way in - nothing missing, nothing damaged and a lovely crew to work with. Would definitely recommend them - they did everything they said they would within the windows provided.

  Moving can be a difficult and stressful time. From the time I contacted NorthAmerican and talked to Tina everything went smoothly. James showed up at the agreed upon time and was very professional and courteous. His estimate was easy to understand and the final price was actually lower than the estimate. Fantastic surprise. When the actual moving crew showed up everything went well. Don introduced himself and was very respectful and treated our stuff with care. His entire crew acted the same way. Delivery was in the time frame promised. From beginning to end during a stressful time every aspect with NorthAmerican was smooth and hassle free.

  One of the movers damaged our box by being too rough with it and then the company said that the wood box was pressed wood which it wasn’t. It was solid wood. I think my husband who is a wood worker would know the difference. The box can’t be replaced so I will never use them again.

  The load was to be delivered no later then April 7th. It didn't arrive until April 14th. We needed items out of the load earlier but had to make do without them. However, the furniture was moved over 1,800 miles with absolutely no problem. However, the boxes that we packed ourselves could have been treated with more care. The entire load went into controlled storage so we will not see how much damage there will be to our boxed personal items until we take them out to unpack them in September. Now it's a wait and see.

  Our pickup from our storage unit was not by our driver. This meant it was loaded into a smaller truck, unloaded to store until they could find another truck/driver, then reloaded for final delivery. It had been weighed by North American when moved from Oregon to Texas. Somehow when picked up in Texas I was charged &500+ more for having more weight yet nothing was added by us.   Terrible experience especially on pickup. No coordination between the company that did my estimate (Ellis) and Class Pays, who may be the most dishonest business I’ve ever dealt with. Delivery was a day later than the latest day of the delivery window so I had to spend 2 weeks in a hotel. Lots of damage and attempts to add expenses such as charging me $2500 extra to pack 135 boxes I packed myself. I would give zero stars if I could.

  We received an estimate By Donna via an hour long video walk through of our home. After signing that estimate we received ANOTHER estimate which was higher by $350. When the semi guy got there he was furious because the estimate was off. He then phoned the company and said it was underestimated. She then drove to my house where she and the semi driver got in a heated exchange right there in our home and in front of us. The driver got mad and said he was leaving and told his guys they were leaving. My husband put the breaks on that. Bottom line the actual moving bill went from $7400 to $9050. That is not acceptable. Then we could not get the VP to call us back at the recommendation of "Julie Taylor" from the office. Not only were we out over 20% more money we had to literally watch while they argued in front of us inside our house. Very very unprofessional.

  Estimate was right on. Loading crew was excellent, and professional. Aaron, the driver went abov and beyond. Unloading crew worked very hard, and were very capable. Unfortunately they didn't speak English, and that made communication a little challenging. A minor issue. Overall, no complaints, we highly recommend Stearling Moving.

  Guys did a great job moving my furniture right up till the end when they dropped the couch on the newly varnished hardwood floor. They felt bad and the company sent forms to assess and hopefully pay for the damage. I would use them again, as they were on time, was accommodating with dates and reasonable with pricing. Hope the management group does what is right with fixing the two gashes.

  Wonderful experience with NorthAmerican, the movers were great and helpful. They were very fast and careful to not leave any impacts to my condo or new apartment when moving in. They delivered my items in 2 days, super fast, and even took stuff over to the garage for us. Most importantly they were kind and thorough with ensuring all of our items were accounted for. Definitely recommend! (Long distance move from CT to MD)

  Pickup was 3 days late. Delayed the closing of the house and jeopardized the sale of the house. Communications on the delay were also late and we had to initiate the calls to even get a response. Would have gone with another carrier if they hadn't made broken statements so late in the days about the the drivers showing up.

  From the phone consult, through the contracting, then on to the actual load, delivery and unload - this was a great experience. I've moved many times, with many different moving companies and this was the most hassle free experience I've had. Franco and his team were awesome. They took great care wrapping, disassembling, and packing us up - with no damage or incidents to our home. Despite being down a man, they were efficient and effective. Delivery was made within our delivery window and was also very efficient. Again, Franco and his team were courteous, respectful, efficient and effective. All the unassembled pieces are reassembled correctly and the team got everything into the new house without any problems or damage. I would not hesitate to recommend them to move anyone, anywhere.

  Do not recommend to anyone. They were so far off Estimating the load already on the truck, when they picked up my load, causing an overloaded truck. Still don’t have the 2nd part of my load. Completely out of contract dates by 3 weeks. The only food part of this move was the Driver in my main load.

  This was such an amazing moving experience! I have moved 25 times in my career and this was one of the best by far. From Chapman Nelson and Lauren Jones at their Lake Forest headquarters, to the packers, loaders and unloaders, they were nice, receptive to requests, great communicators and hard working people. Such a pleasure! I had asked them to over pack so scratches and breakage would be minimized and they gladly obliged. They were also well priced considering the move from CA to FL. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Such great people to work with.

  Efficient process and great communication. I received phone calls as to when the exact delivery would be. Professional movers who were respectful, careful and placed our things according to our direction. Moving from state to state can be stressful but our movers lessoned the burden by being so efficient and reliable.

  Good, friendly service. But somehow several boxes got saturated and fell apart. Plus two loose items (mic stand and metal tripod lamp) were bent from being squeezed into place. 'This end up' notes were ignored, causing some breakage of baking stoneware.

  They were wonderful! The driver communicated very well leading up to the total pack and load all the way to the day of delivery. Both crews were extremely nice and experienced. Both processes were quick and easy! Would definitely recommend and will be contacting again for any future moves!

  I was very satisfied with the entire experience except for one issue at the end. The driver was supposed to pick up an assistant to help unload however the man never showed up so my son had to fill-in and assist. I found that very unacceptable but what choice do you have other than telling them to come back some other time when they’re equipped.
