    Overall very good. There was an issue with the driver that delivered the shipment where he reported that he was not informed that unpacking is included. The issue was rectified quickly and another team was sent the next day to do the unpacking. I appreciate the quick action but I had to take another day off work for the unpacking that was not planned. Also the driver left few items that he was supposed to assemble to the next day team ( TV, dresser mirror, shoe racks) which I thought was unprofessional. The unpacking team were excellent and kind in doing that work. Everything else was great!

    Overall, excellent service. What keeps me from giving a 5: 1. some lack of communication. No one told us what time the driver would arrive for loading (but he showed up by 8:15 so that was great); 2. coordinator was hard to reach during some of the moving process; 3. Charge of $250 to pick up boxes and paper used during the move. The driver, packers and loaders were wonderful - friendly, respectful, and efficient. There were a few things damaged but I am hoping we will be compensated. I am not sure because I have t submitted a claim.

    Horrible. Half my load was almost a month behind the first half. Pieces of furniture, hardware to put furniture together, and other items were lost. The furniture was not wrapped and so was very dirty. Several items of furniture were damaged. I will have to pay another $500 deductible to claim damages and then probably wait months for my claims to process all while sleeping on the floor with my mattress because parts of my bed were lost. Worst service ever! The only good part was the last driver. He knew what he was doing and was communicative, thoughtful, and caring.

    If I could give negative stars I would. Ihave moved across the country 3 times and I have never had this happen before until with this company.. Communication was dismal. 15% of our household goods were distroyed. And even more was damaged. It appears they ran their carts into our boxes and stacked heavy objects onto light ones. It was carless and roughshod handling. It was so heartbreaking to see so much come off the truck so damaged. Will they take responsibility? I have yet to see. It seemed like wanton distruction. How can I trust them? My advice, take the higher bid and someone who cares.

    Korey’s weight estimate was “spot on”. Our household good were delivered to our new house more than 1,000 from our old house within the agreed upon timeframe and without a scratch. The crews on both ends of the move were courteous and competent.

    Overall, the service was good with good communication throughout however the way our boxes were handled during the packing and unpacking of the truck could have been a bit better. Boxes labeled fragile or "this side up" were not handled in the way expected. Some boxes (like the TV) were placed upside down which should have been kept upright (or "this side up") given the way we packed it. Some moving equipment (large bands) were left at our home as well as empty drink bottles (brought by the crew) which added to our clean up. A small bag of parts (part of the furniture that was taken apart by the movers) was also left behind instead of being placed in the parts box. Items unpacked from the truck that were pieces of a larger piece of furniture/equipment were also placed randomly in the garage instead of being placed together (in the same place) making it difficult to find all of the pieces. That being said, our items overall were delivered in good condition.

    I am so happy with the service I received from Lile North American - I was terrified to hire movers since there are so many scams out there, but I was pleasantly surprised with how great this team is! Everyone I worked with was super knowledgeable and helpful to me. They managed my cross-country move easily, my driver was super nice and a great communicator. The price was super fair, in fact it came in a little lower (since I kept selling my stuff!). I couldn't believe how smooth this whole process was. I'm so thankful for the team at Lile, and I would highly highly recommend!

    Summary: Based on our experience with this moving project there is no doubt that we would use Lile Moving and Storage, M&S (Medford, OR North American Van Line, NAVL) and Hemsteds, Redding, CA NAVL to move us anywhere and anytime. We suggest you ‘discount the other not-so-positive’ reviews. Yes, those folks had their experience, but ours was AMAZING! In July 2022, the height of the moving season, we were moving our 89-year-old step-mother from Oregon to So. California a major move laced with emotion, decades of ‘stuff’ (stuff that was moving mixed with stuff that wasn’t moving), and many overwhelming logistical questions. We did our research for “white glove” M&S service. Obtained 4 quotations; 3 nationally recognized companies and 1 local company; both binding and non-binding contract types. Decided on a full service non-binding contract with Lile M&S, North American Van Lines (NAVL) out of Medford, OR. Reason? The people: the honesty and compliance to the legal aspects of moving (some of the other companies wanted deposits up front, an illegal request); clean and complete (full disclosure) quotation; and the outstanding communications. North American Van Lines; the local broker, Lile M&S; and the contract van line, Hemsteds M&S (Dave especially) turned what was expected to be an extremely emotional and stressful move into that was more relaxed, much lower stress, and a reduction in the emotional part of this move. We cannot say ‘thank you’ enough or convey to ALL involved how much we appreciate YOU!

    Lost or broken items, filed claim takes months with no hope of reimbursement. My house was packed into a truck then taken to a warehouse to be repacked in a different truck then the driver was fired and had to wait for another. Then the new driver had no clue where he was going and came directly to my house instead of the warehouse at the final location to be transferred again into a smaller moving truck. The driver wasn’t sure of the paperwork needed and created a huge headache for myself. The company is difficult to deal with and even more difficult to get answers about my broken and clearly stolen items.

    Boxes are packed way too heavy. We had to have our son come over often to get boxes in a place we could unpack them. He felt that many of these boxes weighed 75 pounds +. Also many boxes weren’t labeled at all. When the movers asked me where to put them, I had no idea what was in them. Therefore many boxes in wrong spots. The parts to two beds, an 2 outdoor tables, glass doors to the entertainment center, mirror attachments x 2 were lost. North American sent out a local company to determine what parts were needed and are coming back to assemble. So far, I’ve unpacked 2 tv’s and both are damaged. One has a cracked screen, the other one has broken and missing trim so don’t know if it can get a picture or not. Looks like a drop to me.

    The driver Carmen was great, very friendly and professional. His “helper” who rides with him and helps was a bit of a problem. He asked that we “take care of him” in the form of a tip. He was very aggressive and was cussing a lot in front of the storage unit manager. He was extremely uncomfortable to be around.

    Ivan and Freddie loaded our 1 bedroom with garage in 4 1/2 hours. They offered to start an hour earlier. They took care of the items being moved. Quick, courtesy, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend American Van Lines / Beltmann Relocation Group.

    Absolutely HORRIBLE! Dishonest, unethical, incompetent. Never dealt with a more corrupt business in my life! My furniture was NOT loaded on a single truck, loaded and moved to my location the week I was promised. Instead, it was moved back to a warehouse and unloaded. Sat in storage in a hot warehouse, then loaded on another truck (again) and sat in the hot sun. Then went to Seattle (!) before it arrived two weeks after it was promised. My furniture and belongings looked like they went through a war! Multiple items broke/damaged. Our belongings were not treated with care and respect. I tried reporting to issues to North American Van Lines and no one cares. Get an email that says you will get back to me, but no does. Your company is clueless when it comes to trucking, scheduling, and logistics. North America Van Line is the most corrupt company I have ever dealt with in my life. And the worse customer service I have ever experienced. Our load was blatantly overestimated by 10,000 pounds and all we got back was $29! That's not what we promised. Movers that loaded our items from our home were not professional. They just a few years out of high school, with no understanding of how to move things. Will look into filing a Better Business claim and will see what other agencies I can report this crooked company to.

    Overall the move was good enough, but we ran into a few problems, big and small. We moved from New York to North Carolina. On both ends the movers were professionals and patient. We had them pack our kitchen, TV, Wall art, and beds. It was odd that the movers did not have the right equipment to take a part the bed or take down the TV, but thankfully I have a toolbox. The first major problem though, was that after completing the virtual tour we were given one price only to be told once our furniture was already in NJ that we would have to pay $2500 more. Funny, the lead movers on both ends said "virtual tours are always wrong." To be off by $2500 seems crazy to us, but North American knocked off $200. It was actually insulting but they had our stuff held hostage at that point, so what could we do? Once the movers made it to NC, things were unloaded quickly. Btw, Lisa in the Beltmann Group was in touch with me throughout the move. But, what we later discovered is that everything they packed had a problem: Broken dishes, bent cabinets, and so many scratches and dents on the kingsize bed it may no longer be useable. Lisa, told told me to file a claim, which I️ will but my expectations of them responding in any positive way is very low. So to sum up. North American Vanline got our stuff from point A to point B. However, I️ am very disappointed in the condition of our things, especially since they were packed by the movers. Would I️ use them again? Probably not without looking around first, weighing other options very seriously, and not having them do any of the packing. It saves time, but if you want your things intact, you should think twice.

    Kim our coordinator and Raymond our initial contact/sales rep were both a1, from our first meeting to our final delivery Kim showed that she cared about our needs.     I was quoted a price that I was told would not go up only down when we got rid of items. Well after the truck was loaded and on its way we got a call saying we owed another $1k+. We were charged per box that had to be packed and as I opened boxes I saw the excess of packing paper. After opening 20 boxes I had 18 full trash bags of paper. For example, one large box had a small package of toilet paper and 2 binders and the rest was all paper. Also, large items that they packed, they did not unpack and I had to by myself move these heavy items. I sent several emails and made several calls and no one seemed to care as they already had their money. They completely took advantage of my 80 year old mother who had to uproot her entire life as my father passed away to move across country to live with me. I would like to say that the crews that did the actual move on both ends were fantastic.

    Very thorough, estimate of number of boxes was spot on! Great communication, team members, follow through. Everyone was great: Don Carlson, Angelica, packers, driver, loader, unloader! Got a bit of money back after all was said & done. 100% satisfied! Very professional, which means a lot to me!     In general I felt the service was pretty good. The reason I only gave three stars was because we had been giving a Not To Exceed, Price Lock agreement that we all signed. Then two days before our scheduled move we were told that the amount was not enough and we needed to increase the amount by 20% or they could not move us. This equated to about a $6,000 increase with no change in our location, destination or the items that we were moving. Cancelling and finding another moving solution would have cost us that much if not more at just two days prior to the move so I felt that we were extorted into moving at a higher rate because our choices at that point were very limited. I'm not completely clear on the reasoning for the price increase. I understand it had to do with the original rate not being valid or up to date. Whatever the reason, I think it's poor business to have an agreement and then change it this significantly, without cause, at the last minute.

    Many of our things were damaged. Antique pieces. They carefully wrapped things like an electrical cord and allowed a expensive antique piece to be broken. A brand new dinning room table had the leaf taped to leaving the table side damaged. Pillows to sofas crammed in a box with garage odds and ends. I’m sick that we used this service. They unloaded everything in a pile in the dinning room and garage and moved a few items upstairs. None of the loft furniture was moved upstairs nor any of the mattresses to the upstairs beds. None of the office furniture was moved out to the office building out back. We have to pay even more money to hire movers to come move the furniture everywhere we need it.

    Prior to the move, everyone was incredibly responsive to our questions. Originally North American was going to move our 2 cars. When they called a few days to schedule the pickup they said the delivery would be over an 11 day window. I called another transport company and they delivered the vehicles the next day. The movers came as scheduled and things went well on the move out. The delivery was our issue. We had furniture assembled backwards, some furniture not assembled, several items were broken and the movers did damage to our house. We had a scratched hardwood floor, and 4 damage spots to the walls going up the steps. The customer service after the delivery (and payment) has been almost nonexistent. I would NOT recommend North American.

    From start to finish our moving experience was amazing! The estimate and coordinator from Cord Moving were key to our planning and our feeling confident that things would go smoothly. Then Chris Pierce showed up with his team and the truck was loaded quickly and securely. Chris was kind and patient as we asked a bunch of questions and we felt reassured by how professionally he and his team handled our belongings. He communicated with us as he neared the drop off date and was there early to greet us and do a walk thru before unloading. Chris was so organized and thoughtful during unloading, making sure we had we needed for our first days in our new home! We will happily recommend northAmerican Moving to our friends and family! Thank you to each and every person who made our relocation a positive experience!!!

    The original driver who called to confirm the date of pick up said that he would pick up and deliver our belongings within 2-3 days of the pick up. He arrived without enough room on his truck and said he would return with another truck and crew but did not call to update when he would return. I called later in the afternoon and had to ask the representative if someone was still coming on the agreed move date. At that time(around 4pm), I was told they would come the next day. I had already booked cleaning services for the following morning and a flight for my husband to meet the driver in our new location based on his call before. The late cancellation/rescheduling for cleaning services were subject to late change fees. I already booked a hotel room for my family and could not cancel at that time. The items were quickly loaded the next day but the pricing was different than expected. I was told this is because it included moving blankets, I had my own but no one asked. And, many furniture items were still scratched. My delivery date was over a week later and the Items were unloaded quickly but one bed that was to be assembled by the crew was only half assembled. I called several days after the initial pick up date to speak with a manager about a solution. Only one person offered to advocate to help make the situation right and I’ve still heard nothing. Very poor customer service and communication! This was by far my worst moving experience and I’ve moved across the country 3 times in 6 years.

When I needed to postpone the delivery date because my new home was not ready yet, they were very accommodating and reasonable. The delivery went very smoothly. Only s few things were damaged bug they were things that I had packed. In retrospect I should have had them pack these few items. I had damage on only one item so far and will bd submitting a claim on this one item. I have to wait until I can unpack the rest of my stuff which I sad in the basement All in all my experience was extremely positive

    We have made 3 previous intrastate moves. We are far from beginners and have had the usual experience with different van lines each time. A few items scuffed up, and a few items missing, but the experience with North American was the WORST. We are still not in receipt of half of our belongings and they have no estimated time window for delivery. Our mattresses were transported on the OUTSIDE of the truck and arrived soaking wet. Our wardrobe boxes were shipped and delivered upside down. The experience has ensured we'll be choosing elsewhere next time. AVOID!

    I’ve moved several times with national companies, and this will be the last time ever with NA Moving Services. We have never had such significant amounts of damage—I am dreading the thought of preparing the claim because it is going to take so much time. Additionally, they initially communicated that our stuff would be moved on an 18 wheeler but sent a smaller truck that wouldn’t fit everything, so we are STILL waiting for much of our belongings. But mostly, the damage is embarrassing. Photos, frames, keepsakes, lampshades, furniture, washer/dryer, outdoor fireplace. Some of the drawers no longer open and close in dressers—what are we supposed to do about that? Many items that were damaged by your crew have been moved SEVERAL times by other moving companies and were completely fine in the hands of those companies over the course of those moves. An electric piano that has been moved 3 times by other companies (with zero damage) had the legs and stand completely demolished. The washing machine had a massive dent in the front of it. The outdoor gas grill was dented. This is only a short list. Your crew was so disrespectful of our stuff. We have expressed frustration several times with the moving coordinator and have received no apology or recognition of this being unacceptable. Do you not have a course for reparations for a situation like this? It just seems like this is normal for you, I guess? Very sorry we didn’t choose United again and can’t imagine I’ll ever recommend anyone use NA Van Lines for personal or business, especially if there is no acknowledgement of fault in this case. Deeply disappointed.

    We moved from Wilsonville to Idaho this past week. The move took two days - one to pack, one to drive out to and unload our things in Idaho. Vlad was the lead/driver, Eugene and Javier were helpers on both days, Deandre (I think was his name) assisted on day 1 loading. The move went very well. The guys all were extremely pleasant, polite and hard working. They took care to pack our things properly. They were careful about protecting walls, floors and furniture. We couldn't have had a better moving experience than we had with Moda and Vlad, Eugene, Javier and Deandre.

    Worst moving experience I’ve ever had. They ran out of room on their truck and we had to leave behind our crated high value art, exercise equipment, and some personal boxes. Three weeks later and the only thing we’ve received is the 2 boxes. Just last week we were told it was on a truck headed to us. When I asked for a delivery update today, found out it was never picked up! Communication is terrible and each week I’m left with more questions than answers. I will never use nor recommend NorthAmerican or Beltmann ever again.

    We used North American for our move from California to Texas. I could not be more impressed. The two gentlemen that came and packed the house did three days worth of work in eight hours or less. Once the movers arrived they handled all of our possessions with care, they were all very courteous and a pleasure to work with. We were able to keep in constant communication with North American to find out where our possessions were as we drove across the country to meet the moving van. Upon arrival in Texas North American was able to secure a crew to unload and place our possessions in each room of the house that we requested. We have unpacked all of our belongings and have had no problems. I would highly recommend North American moving lines.

    After much research on moving companies, I definitely chose the best! From the initial walk through, many date changes and finally a firm contract all was professional and seemless. Everyone worked with my crazy schedule changes and didn't mind helping me one bit. On move day, Leonard and Mike worked efficiently and were friendly. I was communicated with from the day of pick up to the day of delivery so there were no surprises. Delivery day went smooth and again Leonard worked tirelessly because he was alone, but kept it friendly and he was quick. I would recommend working with this company and would use them again if ever I find myself in the need of movers.

I did a bunch of research and then scheduled an appointment with Don who came to my home and did a very thorough walkthrough and provided all details about the moving process.     I was told by the driver my delivery would be on Monday June 6th. My delivery was not made until Sunday, June 12th. Our glass table was broken. Found out the loaders in Bothell broke off the legs instead of asking. The table was not built to take apart. I did not find this out until I received the table. The un-packers saw that this happened and the driver had no idea that they did this. We paid $1500.00 for this table at Macy's. We are very upset. That totally does not include the puncture in a screen which was labeled FRAGILE DO NOT PUNCTURE! and a rip in one of our desk chairs. I would never recommend a move. Total cost of move was $18,280.63. You would think that they could care about what they were moving.....

    I would recommend North American based on the men that helped us move. Their names are Ervin, Elvis, and G-man. They made the move easy, pleasant, they went above and beyond and wrapped all our furniture, took care of moving it back into our other home easily without complaint, with a smile on their face. we would say that they need a raise. And they need benefits and whatever to keep them working for you. They never mentioned any of that to us. As far as the rest of the company, the supervisors and the moving coordinators etc. their information did not align with that what the movers actually do. That actually cost us a great amount of stress as we tried to get all our furniture wrapped a certain way before the movers arrived. We were told that every box must have a solid top and every breakable or semi breakable piece wrapped. We were told if it can fit into a box it better be in a box. Which in all reality is not the truth. They wrapped everything themselves …they were astonished that we had done so much and when I apologized for some pieces not being wrapped ….they looked at me in a surprised way and said we will take care of it ma’am. The tips that were sent to us before the move were not recognized by the moving coordinators. In other words all the other outside information that you give a prospective customer needs to be aligned. Every person that I spoke to gave me a different report of what we needed to do before the move. So therefore I would recommend this company only based on the movers.

    Pretty awful. We allowed the company to change our pickup date to accommodate another family. By doing so, there was not space on the truck for all of our belongings. They took it to a warehouse and left it there 3 weeks. Every time we called to ask, they had no answer and promised to call when they did. Except they didn’t ever call us. They emailed us a claims form as an alternative to receiving g our belongings. Umm no. 11 days after the final contracted delivery date window, another company delivered the rest of our belongings. We went with North American to avoid these kinds of issues. No apologies, no calls, nothing. Yea they finally crated our stuff and another company brought it.. but they didn’t even call us to tell us they were doing that. I would not recommend them at all.

    I will tell my family, friends, and everyone I know to avoid your company. Your sales person Alex Daflos told me and explained to me one contract on phone, then he sent me another contract to sign. First, he told me the estimate price is higher than other companies because he is sure the actual will be lower than the estimate price because the actual price is based on weight. I told him some furniture that I want ship and he didn’t write down. When the driver came, driver told me the contract I have is the price I have to pay, not based on the weight. And the driver called Alex to confirm, and Alex realized that he made a mistake to over estimated my shipping and gave me a wrong contract. No one fix this issues and solve the problem in your company. And Alex never pick up my phone call after he realized that he made a mistake. I paid much much much higher price than what I should pay. And much much much much higher than other moving companies. But I have to say that the driver Luis is very nice and professional! I am more than satisfied with him. Since your sales person and customer service is TERRIBLE! I have to give you a 1 star. I wish I can give 0 star. I will put this review on google too.

    Baymeadows Moving in Jacksonville was terrible. Michael gave estimate in Feb. We registered move and signed binding contract. On pack/load days we learned his estimate was wrong on box count by half, causing a second full day of packing. They sent only two packers for a large 3500 sq ft home. He estimated underweight by 3k lbs, there was no third party sent for tvs. When driver came to load, they had an inventory list that did not remotely match home. My signed binding contract was for a full-service move, the drivers copy showed 35 PBOs that was never discussed and must have been added by baymeadows to close the gap. We signed a binding contract and Baymeadows switched us to nonbinding on the day of move without our consent. Once move was en route, on delivery day they required over $2000 more to unload. This will not be my last review or formal complaint against the company. Horrible and imo, fraudulent. DO NOT BOOK WITH BAYMEADOW MOVERS of North American Van Lines.

    The sales person totally low balled us the qoute. When the pick-up date arrived and his packers showed up to pack there was a total misunderstanding of what we told him and what he quoted us. Bottom line we had to pay an add'l $1,400 in order to be moved. Total incompetence by this sales person or deception to charge us more money. If you use Nelson beware of what they quote and be very specific. This sales estimator was very indifferent to our needs. On the plus side they did a good job of packing and the driver Javier was excellent. Obtain several quotes to ensure best rate and service.

The movers were professional, the truck arrived early from across the country (our driver Fabian was the best!), and the movers on this end were professional as well.
