  Their office in Eugene, OR had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They did not communicate or return calls. When they did call, the agent blamed issues on others and was rude. This was made worse by the fact our furniture arrived three weeks after the requested delivery date and 10 days after the contracts delivery window. While they wouldn’t return calls when we were seeking information (we resorted to daily calls to North Americans customer service line just to find out what was happening) they were more than happy to get in touch the day before our shipment arrived to demand payment. Then they don’t have any open offices on weekends to take credit card payments. I WOULD NEVER USE NORTH AMERICAN EVER AGAIN!

  The team in GA that packed my home did not show respect for my personal belongings resulting in unnecessary damage. After paying more than quoted for my move, I expected a professional service representative of the cost and the name associated with the industry. Disappointing.

  BUYER BEWARE: DON’T BELIEVE A WORD COMING OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS. GET IT WRITTEN IN THE CONTRACT! IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR I WOULD but let’s start by going over some basic facts: Moving Date: 05/03/2021 – 05/04/2021 Delivery Date: 05/10/2021 – 05/15/2021 Moving from Ann Arbor, MI to Austin, TX: 1,350 mile Partner Used: University Moving We requested the stuff to be delivered by 05/13/2021 and before we signed our contract, the coordinator assured us that it will be done. Stuff picked up: 05/03/2021 Stuff put on truck: 05/13/2021 (yes, the day we requested things delivered) Stuff Delivered: 05/18/2021 (3 days past delivery the window) IT TOOK THEM 16 days to move 4,000 lbs. across 1,350 miles. These facts do not include the hundreds of calls both my wife and I had to make to get the required information and the emotional distress of moving to a new city, starting a new job, and that too without any of your stuff. We decided to go with a bigger company despite the premium because I thought they would be professional, will ensure that our stuff is delivered on time and will have good customer service. Sadly, none of that was true! They have expert sales folks ready to sell you and promise you the moon and the stars. But once you sign the contract, they will non-committal on everything. They will not make any commitments on when you can expect your stuff to arrive even within the delivery date window. In my experience, I believe this company is reactionary and does not have a contingency plan for anything. The day before our stuff was supposed to arrive, (after the delivery window had already expired), the driver called us and told us that he is 30 miles away but his truck broke down. We tried reaching the delivery coordinator to get an update but couldn’t get hold of her for the next 4 hours. Instead of acknowledging their mistake or coming up with a plan for when things go wrong, this company’s response was “things break down, we can’t control that!” Final note: If you get Rachel as your delivery coordinator, ask for another one. She doesn’t know what the job of a coordinator is. We were running after her all the time and she would never be in the office or available to take our calls. She did not know how to prioritize her customers and was unavailable when we needed her the most. I could go on forever. TLDR: RUN THE OTHER WAY!

  We were thrilled with them ! Ryan came out and gave us a bid! Not the cheapest but he was so thorough from the start and that made. E feel better! Have heard some horror stories! The driver came early the mortified the move and he also was very thorough!! The wrapped everything with care and tagged everything also!! He kept in contact with us and by the time we got to Texas everything was unloaded and there! I would recommend to all my friends!

  Not without complications. First, I got a call the day before the move telling me they couldn’t meet their commitment. Then there was confusion as to when my reschedule actually was. The driver himself was great and I ended up getting most of my information directly from him instead of the coordinator who was supposed to keep me informed throughout the process.

  For the most part the packing crew was great. One thing I will comment on is their way of packing hanging clothes. They filled the bottom of the wardrobe boxes with shoes, etc. would have been okay, but they overfilled in EVERY wardrobe to the extent that when removing at destination, all the hanging clothes were all wrinkled except for the part on the actual hanger. It will take a long time to hang out those wrinkles or a lot of extra time putting it all in dryer with a damp towel and then rehanging to get the wrinkles out. Otherwise the 1/3 of the boxes unpacked so far (inside only-none for garage as yet) have been good. Our driver, Randy, was great! He was on time at destination and once his crew finally arrived (4 hours late) the unpacking of truck went smoothly. We would definitely use again if we EVER again have an urge to move 😊

  The crew that showed up to load everything, did not have the mattress or TV boxes that I ordered and paid for. I was told the mattress would be box before it went into storage. Upon delivery, my mattress was not boxed. Several items were broken that I now have to go through the process of submitting paperwork for. My contact has been very unhelpful. They could not even provide me with the exact delivery date. I was notified hours before 5:00 p.m. the day before of delivery. I have made several moves before and this was by far the worst.

  The best move we've had...and this was our 11th move...the packing crew was amazing and the unpacking crew was great....so hard working... and we can't say enough good things about Vic, the driver.... professional, caring to us and his crew, and made sure everything ran smoothly...he should be the "model" for north American moving company....made a difficult move for us a wonderful experience.

  I am very happy with North American. From initial contact, survey, questions answered, crew that showed up, communication, price, everything was on point. They really try to live up to their motto to "Be the customer" I did have 1 thing get broken, a vacuum, so I filed a claim. Overall I'm very happy that I chose them and they were easy to work with. It was a very stressful move for me on a personal level and they helped make it work. I moved a 1 BR apt across the country.

  We used you in 2004 which went just as well, so the decision was easy to move us now. It went extremely well. Both teams (pickup and delivery) were very professional and expertly performed their work. The delivery was complex because the location was not easily accessible with a semi. They coordinated a smaller shuttle to offload and deliver which required repeat loads back and forth until completely offloaded. They offered various packing and storage tips to help us ensure a smooth transition from truck to storage. Johnathan managed the project beautifully for us. Absolutely flawless execution!

  The packing of my things went well. However me receding all my items is a different story. I am still waiting for the remaining 2k pounds to be received, it's been a week since I got the majority of my things. For some reason the driver did not load all my household items. I am very disappointed because the most important things haven't arrived yet.

  The service was very good. The main guy in charge was professional and worked efficiently. The crew seemed to have some internal conflict amount the team-mates but they worked it out eventually. My belongings were carefully moved and place where I had instructed them. I was a little bit concerned about some inappropriate remarks made like inquiring about my marital status and also commenting about how some millionaires don’t even pay tips. I did pay them gratuity as appropriate. However, that was really bad that they would talk about it like that. Moving is hard enough especially doing it alone as a single lady. A little more professionalism and courteousy would be appreciated. No one should need to disclose their marital or sexual status. It’s personal and one should behave appropriately at work; even if it is in someone’s house. I hope they will make sure it doesn’t happen again to some other unfortunate lady moving alone.

  Amazing experience, I had someone help me and answer questions through out the entire moving process. My emails and phone calls where always answered. They made my move across country as stress free as possible. Everyone from the office to movers did an amazing job. I would definitely not hesitate on using or recommending.

  We used Ward North American for a move from Texas to Arizona. We were completely impressed with the entire process. I was concerned about a face-time estimate and Jaden happily came to our home, 60 miles from San Antonio. He was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He was not in a rush and made us feel very comfortable and confident with this company. He did not pressure us in any way and immediately put us at ease. We received bids from three companies and although the estimates were all close, we felt that the service Ward could provide (based on our interaction with Jaden) convinced us to choose them. We were not disappointed. Our driver Alex was also professional, courteous, listened to our concerns and he did an excellent job of coordinating his crews to load and unload us without any mishaps. The crews were mindful of our floors, walls, doorways and treated everything as if it were their own. In this day and age, it is sometimes a challenge to find any company that provides excellent customer service. I am so pleased that we chose Ward as they set the standard for customer service and exceeded our expectations. Thank you!!!

  Truck was an hour late. The workers were on their phones most of the time during loading. Upon arrival my new house I noticed several boxes were damaged, the driver said this was my fault as I did not pack properly. I paid for full coverage and advises the driver, he advised me that coverage only applies if my boxes were packed by Lile!

  Scott (driver) was very good as were the guys loading in Florida. However, the crew that unloaded in Texas clearly wanted to be somewhere else. They paid little attention to where boxes should have been placed so we had to move many boxes from garage to inside.

  I wholeheartedly recommend North American Van Lines for a cross country move! Everything went extra well. My boxes and furniture were treated with care by the movers and they arrived at my new home in just a few days! I was very impressed and appreciate the excellent logistics and service at a fair price. Well done!

  I really appreciate the driver and how he handled communicating to me about arrival times. He was very professional is his dealings. I was somewhat upset at the way boxes were stacked upside down even though they were hard plastic stacking boxes from Home Depot. I packed the boxes myself and planned for them to be right side up. Also, some lids got damaged along with a couple of antique stoneware. The loading and unloading was very quick and the workers were very nice at placing the boxes were we needed them.

  Jimmy was the one that made our move go very well. He is such a hard worker & so respectful. Sterling had very poor communication but jimmy took over & made it all work well for us. My husband & I just dealt directly with him. He is a definite an asset to your organization.

  Renee the move coordinator was excellent. She was extremely helpful in the short notice move and storage issues. Proved extremely flexible in arrangements on delivery. All of the manpower (loaders, packers, & driver) took excellent care of my possessions. Leather and all wood furniture were wrapped with no damage on delivery. No damage to my homes on pick up and delivery. They took precautions to insure no damage.

  The driver Sean was very personable and professional. He provided a thorough inventory and continued to communicate with us after departure and when arriving at our storage facility. All of the crew worked hard and took careful care of all of our belongings.

  Ward North American provided us with an excellent interstate move. From the initial in home survey to the loading of the truck to the unloading everyone was very professional, courteous and worked very hard to make our move seamless. We would recommend them highly!

  They took furniture apart that has been moved in whole before and we had to put together and find parts in different boxes. Still have not found everything. Tried charging us another $4,000 to carry items 150 feet to the street and take apart two items that were shipped last time together. Half of boxes crushed.

  One mover showed up prepared. A second didn't show up and a last minute person was hired. He dropped a case of glasses from off the truck. Left our items all over our lawn that we didn't find until the next day. Left before the truck was loaded leaving my husband to load the heaviest items with the other mover himself. The weight limit was less than 10% over estimate so they didn't charge us extra "because it wasn't more than 10%" but they also told my husband they didn't charge us because of our issues. No, we have it in writing that it was just because it was only slightly over. No reimbursement. Nothing. Absolute nightmare. They even refused to take items they were supposed to. We had to drive up a trailer with our things and all the remaining stuff we found on our lawn. I'm so afraid of what we will find when we move things out of storage.

  The movers for my furniture were amazing. Right on time and took great care of my stuff. However, the mover for my car was terrible. He arrived earlier than my window predicted so I was unable to be there for pick up and drop off inspections. I never received any paperwork from him. Upon receiving my car, there were several dents, the gas lid was broken, and the plastic part on the bottom had broke off and was dragging on the ground.

  Just ok. NAmerica changed our packing and loading date at last minute to accommodate driver and changed to one day later; again to accommodate driver. Also; because of oversized truck the driver had to unload and reload into smaller truck in a very rushed transfer causing many compressed boxes that made our unpacking difficult.

  Generally excellent service. Our household was packed up Friday evening and it was not until Monday morning that we could get any idea of the anticipated delivery time within the five day window. Our drive to meet the truck would have been much simpler if we had a Saturday communication. We would absolutely choose your company again for a move.

  Pick up went well. Drop off went well in that I doubt the issues were their fault. Three clothing dressers and a tv stand all made from particle board were damaged during transit and three shelves from an Ikea tv stand are missing. A standing light had its base broken so that it couldn't be used.

  We were extremely satisfied with the services provided to us by North American Van Lines and their agents.   The movers were great both picking up my things and delivering them. They were on time and very fast and efficient. The vehicle transport went very well and they were very accommodating and communicated very nicely about the steps involved and where to drop off/pick up the car. My only problem was with the agent I went through... she wasn’t the best communicator and I felt as though she didn’t care. She didn’t have attention to detail and told me the wrong delivery window for my car that I ended up having to drop off my car myself to the company. When the problem occurred she was big responsive and I couldn’t reach her at all. Since she was the main person I went to to get my move arranged, wish she would’ve been more present. I ended up directly contacting the vehicle transport company and they were incredibly understanding and professional.

  Rather than a long rant, let me tell you what you need to know. Don’t use this service. Items arrived outside quoted window, and when I called for updates, I was hung up on more often than I got a person. Some items are still missing. They damaged my front door, and worst of all, I paid for unpacking which they didn’t do. ($1700 for packing and unpacking.) If you want your items on time, in tact and in full and to get what you paid for, go with a different provider.

  Very Good.. I would recommend them. I started our moving process well in advance. Six months prior to our actual move. I had many questions since this was a the biggest move we ever done. Moved from Pa to Texas. They were great! Answered every question, informative, and professional. I like working with local businesses, I liked that I was able to stop and pick up boxes, free of charge! The driver Joe was an Ace cant say enough good things about him. Kevin, he was our glass and breakable guy He was awesome! Tip my hat to all of the staff !

  Our truck was to deliver 7 days ago..no idea when or if it will be delivered. We only have their word our stuff is safe. The communication from them has been almost non existent. They have no drivers and the tractor on the truck needs to be replaced! Why when affiliated with a very large trucking service that they are unable to find a driver. I question the validity of their excuses. I want my furniture and belongings. A little aside, we informed the company that our truck was not delivering on the scheduled day because we did not receive the schedule for the day. It maybe time to report it stolen.
