  delivery quagmire prices and the buying process was ok but delivery and handling complaint part was disaster. DHL delivered some motocycle parts instead of Sony a7iii camera accessories and I saw my status as delivered in Madison's site. When I try to call their agents there was no answer for 3 days. Once I got someone at the end of the line he hang up on me. It finally sorted after 7 days but customer service was terrible

  We ordered a big bundle to go with our very first Dji fly more kit for our Mavic 3. Everything smooth through ordering, payment and tracking the shipment which arrived when they said it would. One star left out because it would be even better if there were some instructions or guide on how to use each accessory included in the bundle; we don’t know what many of the items are! We’ll work it out in our own time.

  Accessories weren’t great, GoPro HERO9 is incredible GoPro HERO9 is fine. All the additional bits I got as part of the bundle were flimsy, the selfie stick came already broken so I had to buy a new one. Memory card was good but wish I bought the camera by itself and got the accessories elsewhere

  Prompt delivery, but problem with the accessory kit, Prompt delivery, good product, good price. But after fully charging the Watson extra battery it would not hold its charge. After 10 exposures it was fully discharged and the camera turned itself off. When recharged for just 2 minutes it showed a fully charged state once more! Not a big issue and it is being investigated by Madison Avenue Cameras. But beware cheap accessories.

  My camera went missing in transit or in other words subject matter of the contract couldn't be retrieved not sure who's to blame. I did a PayPal case dispute and received a refund but I need to keep it in the bank until the next month, overall, I blame the courier company for the lost/stolen camera they didn't accept any blame maybe if they read their review they would see there is a problem at their company regardless Adam at customer service is a real estate to them he without a doubt is first class, 10/10 Adam and thanks again

  Visited Fri 28th Oct 2022 as I wanted to purchase a camera tripod. Talking to one of the staff he arrange for several tripods to be sent from there warehouse but would take about an hour to be delivered ,so we went to local cafe and on our return the tripods were there. The tripods were all assembled for me to try they also answered every question I ask and I finally settled on Magnus PV-3320G tripod. Overall excellent service would definitely shop here again.

  I upgraded from a Canon 90D to the 6D Mark II after finding an open box deal on Madison Avenue cameras. The 6D Mark II is a beast! It will take me a while to learn all of its features but I am already loving how fast it is. The item arrived in perfect condition and I verified it had zero snaps so it was still new. Cant recommend this company enough.

I found their website on google but was delighted to see they were also based locally to where I live so was able to collect same day.   Awful customer service experience. Bought a new lens online returned it with a fault on zoom lock expecting it to be replaced but was told it would have to be repaired due to damage incurred by parcel company. They then insinuated I was lying about original fault with zoom lock as it worked when they tried it. No response a week later, no lens, yet they are $800 better off.

  The Nikon D500 DSLR is a super camera and is compatible with all my Nikon lenses previously purchased with my D3500. When coupled with my Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens the system is just fantastic. The extra battery, case and memory card are a plus for great savings.   Bought my camera from Madison Ave cameras 2 months ago and have to say that the after care is amazing. I've been back a few times with questions and the staff have always been happy and willing to answer them for me. They're all very knowledgeable about the products they're selling but don't try to push you into buying anything. I will be using this company again and cannot recommend them highly enough.

  We wanted to support a local independent shop but felt that the customer experience was lacking. The member of staff that served us was sarcastic, abrupt and a bit condescending. We were told that he couldn't give us a delivery estimate until we had paid a 25% deposit. I'm sorry but we're not handing over $230 without knowing when we can expect it. In the end KEH got it for us next day!

  I've just purchased a set of Viking 12 x 30 stabilized binoculars. Price good, if a lot of money. Service excellent. A flick of the switch and a beautiful clear steady image appears.   Not happy. They sell stuff on Amazon for way over the going price and pretend it is Amazon’s fault. They didn’t send my lens on the day agreed (when I was going to be in) and it was sent in just a plastic envelope not a box. Madison invoice not Amazon sent direct from Madison not Amazon and admitted they were the seller in emails but just keep on blaming Amazon!!! Staff defensive and unhelpful - not what you expect from a professional photography store.

  Very knowledgeable courteous and helpful staff. Good advice on a new zoom lens I was looking for. I have been before and similarly got good and helpful information and advice, even when not actually buying anything. Well worth a visit for cameras, lenses and associated bits and pieces. Just a pity I couldn't have a go on it! Thoroughly recommended.

  Guy didn't really know his flashes, got them round the wrong way and wasn't aware of the second hand stock that was exactly what I wanted for half the price of new. Still the best place to buy for real instead if online.

  The most genuine, knowledgeable and friendly business I’ve come across in a long time. Sold a fairly substantial amount of Hassy camera gear to them, in all conditions. They arranged the pick up, gave a thoroughly detailed quote and paid very quickly. Couldn’t be happier and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them, or use any of their services in the future.

  I am a novice photographer and went into the shop looking for advice on which type of lens I needed to do a specific type of photography. While they didn't have the lens I needed in stock Will was unbelievably helpful taking time to explain (in layman's terms) what I needed and how to get the best out of the lenses I already have. I will definitely be back and will be supporting this shop in the future. It is great to find a shop with such fabulous customer service.

  This is the best Leica Shop in the world, Davies Milner is such a knowledgeable gentleman in Leica, he always consider of my best interest rather than selling me the most expensive pieces! Now I had been buying 95% of my camera gears from the Madison Leica!

  Ordered a lens online from the website as it was out of stock most places. When I got in touch a few days later to see when I could expect delivery I was told the lens wasn't in stock and they didn't know when it would be in again even though they had taken my money immediately. Most other companies said the lens was out of stock but I could pre order if I wanted and no money would be taken until it was dispatched. Then I had the issues getting my money back which took an age and several calls and emails. I buy a lot of camera gear but won't be using these again and people wonder why Amazon are so successful.

  Overpriced, staff look tired and you have to wait ages before anyone asks if you need any assistance. You would probably save money by using any of their competitors.

  Got my camera from here and it’s all working as expected. Light meter works and the aperture priory mode has produced some really good pictures. I added the blue leather camera skin and manual adapter myself. Camera was a decent price and although you can find them cheaper you get some extra security of it being a good working camera by getting it from these guys. Cheers.

  Great prices and service - ordered a D7500 body on Fri 1st October with an expected delivery date of 5th (happy with that) - It was actually delivered lunchtime Sat 2nd October- very, very happy - well done to all involved. (had to laugh, the spare battery from Amazon (because they were out of stock) took longer - arrived Saturday evening . . .) Definite repeat customer here!

  I am delighted with the used Canon 5D Mark IV and Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS II USM lens purchased from Madison Ave Cameras; both are in excellent condition and have provided me with thousands of high-quality images on a recent safari in Zambia. However, delivery took much longer than anticipated, with the lens arriving 12 days and the camera body 28 days after order placement. I must admit that the unexpected delay in delivery caused me some concern at the time, but the equipment was well worth the wait.

  Sent my items (Nikon D780+NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8 LENS) on the Wednesday (to have a clean, calibration and replacement focus ring), got a phone call for a quote on the Thursday, item was dispatched on the Friday. Second time I’ve used them and think the service is excellent!

  Poor service and very unfriendly staff that didn't seem to respect my needs. Was made to feel like I was hassling them with my questions. I work professionally in film and I'm just surprised to be spoken too, consistently, in this way. Genuinely wanted to buy from these guys but won't using them again.
