  Great and affordable audio quality For what I need it for it's perfect. I shoot conferences and events and this mic coupled with the Kodak ZI8 gives me very good video and audio at a very affordable price. Madison Ave Cameras' always delivers the best quality service and ease of ordering.

  Found the same product on Amazon and it was $70 more on Amazon and would have had to pay $26 for expedited shipping to get it in 9 days. Madison Avenue cameras will have it here in 2 days at no extra cost. Very happy!

  We recently placed an order with Madison Avenue cameras. I called customer service to inquire about the process. I placed my order and was pleasantly surprised to receive notification that it been approved within hours of submission. The estimated delivery time was 4-6 days but the order arrived early than expected. That's quality service! The camera works great and it's been used for 15 days in without any issues.   I won't rent from them again. I am a professional videographer, editor, and producer for 13 years. I rented a bunch of gear from the Manhattan location to shoot some interviews. I reserved three black backdrops, key to the look I promised the client and to the location limitations, and received one black backdrop and one light-blue backdrop. There was no time to find another solution and I had to find a workaround at the last minute. When I returned the equipment and asked for a substantial discount on the entire rental fee, the assistant manager would only offer me refunds for the two backdrops they didn't deliver and for an undisclosed "credit" on my next rental. I emailed the store manager, the owner, and the VP of HR and never got a response. Of the countless times I have rented gear from professional rental houses, this is the only time that the rental house didn't accept its responsibility for causing major problems. Other rental houses have made mistakes, but when they did they understood the domino effect of their errors and would comp me the rental fee in its entirety or give me a major discount of at least 40%-65%. I would highly suggest renting elsewhere in Manhattan and will not use Madison again for rentals or buy from them again.

  Best retailer in manhattan for anything photography, even if they don’t have what you’re looking for they’re happy to point you in the right direction. I come here for 120 film I use in my antique cameras mainly and there is always a good selection. Only downside is it’s location as they can be difficult to find and park at; especially for someone who lives in the south end of the city. Recommend for anyone, film or digital, to check it out in person.

  Davies, and Luke went above and beyond for me. I purchased a DJI mini pro 3 the other day with the fly more kit and accessories.   Manfrotto EzyBalance is a simple solution I would buy this a thousand times again! It is a great product. When my professor showed it to us the first night of class and said we needed one for the course; I was skeptical. I have since become a fan of this product. It is wonderful for getting the correct exposure before taking a photograph.

  It's not a big store and overstaffed with too many employees with nothing to do but follow you around and hope you'll need help or maybe they think Houdini just entered the store and will magically make things disappear just by browsing around, I don't like the fish bowl atmosphere it seems a little intimidating, 'maybe I'm the paranoid one'. Good Stuff if you can find it.

  They have everything you could ever need in this store. I've bought a few lens here, but the one time I asked them to price match they refused. And that was it, apparently the price match price was below their cost. Ok, fine, but at least meet me halfway. Nope, full price or nothing. They felt a little snobby to me.   Great product but worst customer service! Unauthorized charges on Subscription despite it is bundled on the price!! Great product but no live customer service at all! It takes ages to reach a person. I purchased bundled service which comes with the annual subscription, however, got charged for it. Never took an opportunity to respond to my refund request, disputed with credit card company who refunded immediately after submitting it.

  Madison Avenue Cameras and Olympus in Manhattan. I started small with Madison Avenue cameras ordering a Battery for my BMPCC6K one afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived at 9:30 the following morning. When the BMPCC6K G2 was released I went to the shop in Manhattan and was guided through the ordering process by the Knowledgeable staff in the shop. My order was filled surprisingly quickly despite the problems Blackmagic have had with supply and demand. I have since purchased several lenses for my BMPCC 6K G2, both new and used via the Manhattan shop. The visits to Manhattan are always a pleasure and the guys there are always so helpful and knowledgeable.

  Fantastic Service from Madison Avenue Cameras and Camera is very nice! The only complaint is I'm not in love with the kit lens but it does its job and works pretty well.   Davies is a legend! I recently came in to buy a Fujifilm X100v and Davies really helped me out with what I was needing! Made sure I left with the body I wanted, the lens I wanted, and everything I would need and all while working to accommodate my price range! I’ve also purchased from the store prior to this and have always received impeccable service from this man! When it comes time for me to buy the external battery grip and extra lenses, I’ll definitely be coming back to see Davies and get his awesome service!

  I came in to see Davies about Cameras and lenses. Davies discussed may different options varying in price. We then talked about lenses for portrait photography, and Davies suggested the Sigma 17-50mm f2.8. Initially they didn’t have a new one in stock but luckily Davies had a second hand one recently bought in at the store I would recommend the store

I looked around for a good price on a camera combo, and found the price at Madison Avenue Cameras to be the best deal for what they offered at the price I wanted to pay. We took in a camera that we could not remove the lens from, and Davies was so helpful in trying everything and eventually resolved the issue without charge. We got some excellent advice on purchasing a new lens cap and germane information about our hobby from Davies whilst in the shop. So much better than buying anything online. Definitely recommend it to everyone for personal service.

  I had to order twice because M.A.C will keep whatever the last address you mailed something to as your default. I'm glad it was only $40 worth of accessory I ordered for my Fuji xe-4 to North Carolina since that was the last time I ordered a product online. Madison needs to make a setting where an address can be made your default address like Amazon does.

  Pentax 6.5x21 U-Series Papilio II binoculars. Ordered a pair of, Papilio II binoculars, on, Sunday evening.   Excellent customer service I wanted to part ex. some camera gear and started the process online. I got a quote back within 24 hours. I had some questions regarding new equipment which they answered, this helped me zero in my search for a new camera down to two cameras. Customer service online were very friendly and said if I had any further questions I wasn’t to hesitate to get in touch. I went to Madison Avenue Cameras with the items I was trading in with the aim to buy one of these two cameras. I was helped through the process by Davies who was brilliant. He answered all my questions, asked me questions, gave useful advice and pointed out the pros and cons. He was very patient with me while I pondered things over. There was no sales pressure, in fact he recommended I don’t trade in one of my items and use it with my new camera instead. I’m glad I took his advice as it does make a difference. The whole experience was great from start to finish. I highly recommended going in store and liaising with the sales team. I will definitely be doing this in the future.

  FABULOUS SERVICE!!! Customer service at M.A.C is stellar, and they answered all of my questions via online chat before I purchased my D3500. This camera is easy to use and takes great photos. I got everything I needed to start. The easiest path is to call M.A.C. and speak to an expert, they'll help you get all the extras you need. They talk in layman's terms and are knowledgeable . I recommend the Nikon D3500 and M.A.C wholeheartedly!

  The staff is always friendly at Madison', which is great to see. They also have a decent range of cameras from DSLR to Mirrorless to P&S. They even have Hasselblad if I remember correctly. Prices may be a little higher than their competitors, but worth it for the service and peace of mind.

  Too many choices I wanted to purchase a digital microscope as a gift for my adult daughter. It was anything but simple. There are literally loads of choices and very little guidance, especially for an older person who is not familiar with all the microscopes, bells and whistles. Even a call to a Madison' "expert" was not helpful (although he was courteous and friendly).

  Madison Avenue Cameras stores are always nice and clean. But I do not like the lack of price tags and the fact that at this location all the staff is very old. There no staff of my generation. But go to the smaller city stores, and you find more younger staff. But here there is not enough experience.

  Sold me a demo CFexpress card as a new card. I purchased a CFexpress card at the Manhattan store, paid the full price of $120 and when I put the card in my camera the card had already photos on it. Not exactly what I would expect from an expensive American retailer. I would have been better off with a cheaper online order.
