  Excellent customer service and knowledge available. The staff are able to give expert advice and i was very happy with what i selected. Any issues were also promptly sorted out by the staff without any questions. All in all i would definitely recommend MADISON AVENUE CAMERAS, they price beat and have 6 years guarantee on most items so its a no brainer compared to other retailers who only offer 1 or 2.

  Never knew this store existed until recently. Purchased a few landscape photography gear from the store recently. The staff are very friendly and certainly know their stuff, all photography related! The store is small but has a great environment and is very bright and entertaining.   As a beginner in the realm of making videos, this Panasonic HC-VX981K was perfect for my needs. Worked well indoors and outdoors. Excellent sound quality. Had fun linking it with the camera on my tablet to make reaction videos. Very grateful for the Madison Avenue Cameras suggestion to purchase a memory card and larger battery for this at the same time.

  B W 82mm Circular Polarizer MRC Filter glass had oily film when received. Difficult to clean. Filter attracts dust like a moth to a flame.

  Amazing stock. Friendly staff with detailed specialist knowledge. First time using them but not going to elsewhere from now. Extremely good knowledge regarding aerial photography.   Perhaps spend a little more money and buy something that would really work. I purchased this Polsen OLM-10 lav to pair with my voice recorder since I often need my talks to be recorded. Unfortunately, this doesn't allow me to speak freely. Otherwise it doesn't pick up my voice. So, I cannot turn my head while attempting to record. Makes it very inappropriate for me.

  Coronado SolarMax III 800mm f/8.8 Solar Viewing Refractor This instrument is unbelievable. The service I received over the phone was top-class. They help me with everything I needed. The solar telescope was on back order but received it within a few weeks after purchase.   I bought some headphones and a Meade LX200-ACF Catadioptric Telescope, yesterday 5/21/2020. The guys who run Madison Ave Cams clearly know about Meade Optical Tube Assemblies equipment. They've got a decent stock of Celestron optics too, both new and second hand. As the name suggests, the establishment is pitched at cameras, and the range of equipment on offer, ticket price, and cutomer-service demeanour reflect this. If that's what you're after, you'll probably be well served. If you're a casual passer-by looking to browse prosumer telescopes and perhaps pick up some low-end spotting scope, without being challenged on whether youve pre-booked an appointment (in a store that's nearly empty), you may find yourself a bit bemused by the experience. I was planning to ask for some advice on Coma-Free Optical System, but thought better of exposing my ignorance. So - some good, some less good.

  I'm very satisfied. As expected, I like photo and have a good hobby with D750. When I take a picture, I liked the sound of the shutter and the picture. But Madison Avenue Cameras doesn't keep tehir promises. I was expecting a battery, cables for transferring data, and a strap to be sent the battery charging connection code. Thank you.

  Purchased a great Nikon full-frame, especially before I take my first trip to see Europe. D850 does a more accurate job of handling complicated lighting situations with ease than my D200. The new cameras are drastically improved. The difference between the two is speed. Focus speed and fps. The 850 is twice the mp. I absolutely love this place, all the staff know their stuff and are really helpful. Davies was incredibly helpful and helped me make the jump from D200 sorted super easily.

  Should Have Visited Sooner! Being a Fine Art Photographer I've been relying on big chain camera stores for 2+ years. Then four years ago I decided to try the brick and mortar in Manhattan, Madison Avenue Cameras is a true Aladdin's Cave for any photographer. I also ordered online with Madison Avenue Cameras twice and I cannot say nothing more then a prompt service and kind sales assistance.   A well stocked shop with staff who really know their stuff. They are always friendly and go that extra mile to help. They have a huge range of products that offer various purchase options unlike most electronics shops these days. These guys stand out from other camera shops through their excellent customer service. I've been using Madison Avenue Cameras for years now and have no reason to shop anywhere else as I know their prices are excellent and I'll get the advise I need. Keep up the excellent work!!!

  Very...very disappointed, we were out in Manhattan specifically with the aim of buying a new camera. We weren't greeted with a friendly smile, we asked to see the cameras and were told there were 'some newly arrived in a box, come back later'. They felt we were a hindrance just for being there. Absolutely NO effort was made to find out what we wanted, most miserable service we have ever experienced. We spent our $579 in Park Ave Cameras on the way home where the sales assistant was smiley, helpful and knowledgeable. Served us warmly.

  Such great service right from the start. Davies was terrific explaining everything making sure we got exactly what we needed.   I recently purchased a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII along with some other bits. I received exceptional professional customer service from Davies. All i can say is Davies was very knowledgeable. He answered every question i had. Davies also looked up to see where we could purchase the lens hood,DSC-RX100 VII i got home and unpacked the camera and found that the camera comes with the lens hood. Thank you for recommending the strap. YES you could get this camera a little cheaper, if you look around, You will probable save $50.00. I did my research on a few sites on line and was not impressed with the feed backs. For peace of mind and excellent customer care i would advise a shop My choice was Madison Avenue Cameras i am very very happy with my purchase and service.

  Been in this shop 3 times. Twice was good service from friendly staff. On one occasion I was served by the owner (I believe) and he made it very obvious he didn't want to help me. It speaks volumes when the shop assistants are friendly and informative and the business owner is rude and hostile. Would not use this shop again unfortunately.

  I've been here several times, listened to Sennheiser Microphones for Wireless Systems and made a few purchases. Knowledgeable staff, happy to help and research if they don't know something. There's a LOT of stuff out and ready to play with including some great lav mics, headset mics and other types of mics. The prices seem to be competitive, especially compared to other physical shops. The website is pretty useful with good articles and an accurate reflection of stock in each branch. They do lack a little in ancillary equipment e.g. windbuster and Mesh Windscreen variety, but their website does cover a wider range. If you're looking to make a purchase, I would say it's worthwhile checking M.A.C as well as a variety of other online stores e.g. KEM, but given the great prices, great staff and ability to experiment equipment in store, you might end up buying here!

  I have purcheased the Sigma 18-35mm & 50-100mm lens bundle and I am very pleased by the service. They reply to my emails very fast, the provide evidence of the product before delivering.   Pleased with my purchase @ Madison Avenue camera 📸 store I was very pleased with my purchase I got a Panasonic Lumix G Vario 45-150mm f/4-5.6 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. lens with circular polarizer and UV filters kit. At great price at less $100 for a new lens kit. I looked on B&H Photo first and second hand lens were going for $160 and more (no-brainer ) try Madison Avenue camera store

  Helpful staff, they are keeping numbers in the shop to only a few groups of people and need to wear provided gloves to feel demo equipment. They don't keep much stock in store.

  I recently purchased a Panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder. Like many, I was a little anxious using a new site but there was no need. Great contact, regular updates and quick delivery. I really like the idea of sending photos of your order. Item arrived well packaged and all in good working order. I had the camera checked by a photographer friend and he gave it a thumbs up.

  Great price and customer service I got a Canon EOS C70 Cine Camera. My camera is great, but unfortunately there was a weird noise with the RF lens. I’ve sent its vide and got a nice reply from customer service. I returned the camera and get the refund with no issue. If you are not in a rush, I definitely suggest. Both customer service and prices are great. Only it takes around a week to get the products

  The whole process, from making a phone order for camera filters, to the delivery the very next morning, was amazing. The guy taking my order was so friendly and helpful, and I was assured the company would make every effort to ship the filters by the following morning, which they did. Cannot recommend MAC highly enough.

  Helpful staff and even though they did not stock the equipment I was looking for they steered me in the right direction. The biggest issue I see is that net market prices are so much cheaper and these cannot match a deal, I am all for "keeping it local" but I managed to get the same camera $200 cheaper online.

  I read the reviews so was expecting a long wait. I paid with PayPal and paid for insured delivery to increase safety. I placed my order on Sunday and here I am on Wednesday writing this review on my new Samsung TV 55''. The price was great and I can't fault the service. I received regular emails telling me the status of my order.

  Solid Performance from an Underrated Camera Store! I am a wedding videographer and use up to 4 cameras to film wedding ceremonies. Been purchasing loads of equipment at Madison Avenue Cameras. The XC10 4k was my latest purchase, it's very elegant and sleek. I use this camera for exclusive shoots. The picture is crystal clear bought the Canon XC10 (been using it since 2018) along with my C100 Mark II, and JVC GY-HM620. Very good customer service even through the lock down. Package dispatched on time and was well wrapped, no fear of it getting damaged. Excellent online service.
