  Great Store for Student Filmmakers! This ARRI ALEXA Mini LF is my latest upgrade as an independent filmmaker, finishing up film school. I love it. Makes DPing so much easier than before and has truly improved my work flow. They always either have what I need or can get what I need for the best price. They’re customer service is always quick, polite, and knowledgeable.

  Great selection of new and used gear as well as a surprisingly huge range of supplies. Davies and the rest of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and are always happy to help, but never pushy or obnoxious. Prices on gear are also very competitive. This is a place for people who love photography or want to learn to love it.

  I've been buying mirrorless cameras from Madison Avenue Cameras for over 2 years now and the crew over there is phenomenal.   Last week I visited MADISON AVENUE CAMERAS to trade in a lens. The owner was very patient with me and made sure to service me well. After constantly visiting B&H in New York, I was happy to find a smaller shop and actually have a conversation.   This is a great company. They save my life today! They had a Canon EOS D850 that was discontinued that was needed for for portrait, nature, and commercial photography. The camera was stolen from our kit on Friday. Needed to find a replacement within a few hours of our next event. They saved the day and the client was very happy for the photos. The customer service was excellent. I will definitely make other purchases from this company.

  Disappointed! I regret buying this TV every night, no matter how dark the room is the brightness levels and darks gives it a dimmed look. No details in the blacks, even with brightness levels at max. Definitely you could do better!

  Superstar service and knowledge! I was thinking of transferring to a mirrorless camera, the staff patiently explained the pros and cons and went through a variety of options with me. The best part is being able to try out the cameras and lenses at the store which gives confidence when purchasing equipment. I visited the shop multiple times and on one occasion spent nearly 2hrs testing the gear and lenses. Thank You Madison Avenue Cameras so much for your time and patience, highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a new or used camera. See you again soon :)

  Great Camera. Zero Issues My Sigma dp2 Quattro is free of any real or imaginary defects. The camera itself is great! I am an Amazon guy, but my last few orders were from Madison Ave cameras, and I am super impressed - ordered camera early afternoon and it was at my house in LA mid morning next day.   I just received my new Canon XC15. So far, it is everything I expected. This camera is a great value and Madison Avenue Cameras shipped it quite on-time for it being a pre-order. I have only (2) small issues. One, is there is a firmware update and no help on how to get it on the camera. I did an online help with Canon USA but they told me they are not capable to help with this. Other than that, it seems like a GREAT camera.

  Everything I expected and more This is my first Fuji camera and I have to say I am very impressed with the build quality and performance of the camera.   They never answer the phone. Which is incredibly frustrating. You can call 8 times in a row, and no one will answer. The phone system kicks you out after 3 rings, and makes you leave a voicemail no one may ever respond to. If you can somehow interact with this business without ever having to call them, they are lovely. The selection/products are good, and the service is incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They are a delight to work with. Big shout out to Davies-- he's been a big help. Unfortunately, when it comes to TV purchase, I can't always leave the lot and drive to their store to talk to someone-- so they should really just answer the phone.

  More than fair customer service I have, over the years made several purchases from Madison Avenue Cameras. Most recently I bought a complete camera package with all the accessories for my fianci on her birthday. The price could not be even closely matched by local dealers so i went ahead and placed my order. Much to my surprise when I next checked back Madison Avenue Cameras offer had dropped another $90.00 in price. I called to see if I could get the better price even though I had already put in my order. Madison Avenue Cameras did that without hesitation. More than fair customer service.

  A Great Purchase I placed an order for a Lensbaby Velvet 56mm f/1.6 Lens and it came with Adobe software. As a matter of fact, before placing the order I had to do several research on this lens from other photo stores and I got the best price from Madison Avenue Cameras.   Camera is excellent in good light and not so good in low light. I love the quality of the 4K for production studio work and green screen shoots. It's doesn't come with all the bells and whistles that more expensive cameras offer. The price makes this camera an excellent t choice for people on a budget.

The only bad part about this place is that you may get carried away browsing the accessories , and end up late to your call time haha.   Delivery delayed with no immediate explanation Placed on order for an item in the catalogue May.03. Received no shipping information until I wrote the following week to follow up. Apparently, the item was not in stock and had to be ordered. I don't think it is my job to follow up an order. My expectation is that Madison Avenue Cameras would have informed me after I made the order that the delivery of the item would be outside their normal 4 - 5 days. I also tried phoning in to speed up delivery but no one picked up.

  First of all I would like to start of by saying that this Panasonic AG-UX180 camcorder is everything I've been looking for and more. The video quality is remarkable. The size of the camera is also splendid, it's light weight and easy to handle. Speaking of handles, the top handle with the audio unit has been very useful to getting low angle shots. Also audio quality is superb. Over all I would have to say for the price this camera is brilliant.

  I recently purchased a used GFX 50R from Madison Avenue Cameras online. Online buying is always a leap of faith, especially when you pay up front. M.A.C. couldn't have been more helpful and when the item arrived it was as described, well packaged and in good condition. I am very pleased with the service they provided me.

  I bought a camera from here about a month ago. Arrived next day, safely, down in Maryland. Was very happy. Won't be ordering from Amazon or other abroad companies when this gives all I need. You forget about American businesses when you're younger! Thank you for wonderful service. :)

  Amazing service from the knowledgeable team at Madison Ave Cameras, when I purchased a pro photo printer. They were able to help each time I phoned, while stock was being delivered, and were accommodating when it came to using two different payment methods. Shipment arrived within 24 hours, which was hugely appreciated. A great buying experience.

  Rude and will drop insurance fees without notice. I was ready to rent when the employee told me I had to pay an extra $100, that I was unaware of before. So guess who isn't getting the lens they needed for their shoot this weekend? :) Soon as I walk in and look around, these two young looking employees stare at me while they're behind a counter. I'd never been here before so I was looking around, and they stare at me like I'm about to steal something. After whispering amongst themselves, the girl walks up to me and asks if I need help in this snotty tone. When I said no, she looked offended and walked away. There was one nice employee who was extremely helpful versus the other two youngsters. Save your money and go somewhere else with better t service.

  The people who work at Madison Avenue Cameras are GREAT!!! It is so nice to find a company that has such great staff that goes out of their way to be helpful. I would always go here first. And believe it or not, I was recommended to go to M.A.C not once, but twice by another camera shop.

  My sales experience with Davies was excellent. He thoroughly explained all the options available to me. Great to have a local store available for help with all camera needs. Much better than shopping at box box stores and prices were the same.

  Very helpful staff. Meet a new salesperson and he spent an hour with our son who was looking for a new lens. We ended up purchasing a trade in for a big discount that was almost brand new, just missing the box.

  I have been going to Madison Avenue Cameras for at least 7 years. The level of service and personal attention is outstanding and very professional. The staff is knowledgeable and goes out of their way to ensure you have what you need and are happy with your choice. Their prices are competitive with B &H, you get the benefit of their knowledge and experience, and you get to see and to touch what you are purchasing. Support you local camera stores!

  Hard to rate them fairly. I went in with a 35mm film camera to be cleaned, and they deal in digital cameras only. They did refer me to a business in Broadway, NY that works with film cameras

  I’ve called a few times and went there yesterday. Staff is very helpful and nice to deal with. The superzoom I went to pick up sold before I got there but they were able to order one from another store and are shipping it to my house. I’ll definitely be returning for my camera needs! Thanks Davies I’m glad I found a nice camera shop on the planet.
