  Honest, fast and spotless I made a bit of a mess when I tried to clean my own sensor. I took it to another camera shop, where they told me it was scratched. I went to Madison Avenue Cameras for a second opinion and they got it clean and fixed. Great service, done within a day!

  Exceptional Customer Service Madison Avenue Cameras blown me away with their exceptional service. I have purchased a new a6400 camera and lots of other APS-C equipment, unfortunately only the camera was in stock, however, the team at Madison Avenue Cameras made and effort to restock the missing items and upgraded my order to next day delivery to make sure I get everything in time for holiday.   Happy with Madison Avenue Cameras Purchased a new camera (Canon 5D Mark iv) at Madison Avenue Cameras at the Manhattan store. Personnel was helpful and friendly. I bought again at Madison Avenue Cameras since I really appreciate their service. If something goes wrong, they are always able to correct this in a satisfying way.   Great and friendly service I have bought all essential equipment to start my new hobby from the store in Manhattan. Staff was so helpful and answered all my questions.   Nikon D5600 AF-P 18-55mm VR AF-P 70-300mm VR / Great camera and staff! I just got the Nikon D5600 AF-P 18-55mm VR AF-P 70-300mm VR and I am so happy with it. There are endless possibilities and the size and weight of the camera is perfect for me. In combination with the 2 lenses you are instantly good to head out and start practicing. The service of Madison Avenue Cameras was really great as well, the person who helped us took all the time we needed. He explained everything well and we felt really comfortable during the whole experience. I both recommend the camera itself and also Madison Avenue Cameras!

  The camera and the included accessories were great! it was just a shame that because of black Friday I had to wait more than two weeks for my camera while when I ordered it it said that it would be at home tomorrow... I bought a reasonable amount of equipment from M.A.C last weekend and normally I don't bother with reviews, however this time I thought this was an appropriate place to leave my nagging and move on, it is a shame for the company as they have lost a good prospect! I came away with more or less what I wanted and the service is received was OK but I didn't feel special as I came away and spending what I did, I expected more. These days service is key, I can buy my digital equipment everywhere and yet I wanted to choose Madison as my goto place, sadly this will not be, I may as well order online and get zero service... Maybe I just expect too much but with a purchase of 2 cameras, 2 lenses, tripod, head and a promise of the rest of the kit a strobe lighting would need to set up, I would have thought that would be business worth keeping. To loose $10,000 spend because of poor service is not good for business!

  Bought a 65 inch LG TV. The price was good but the delivery not so good. I bought the tv on sunday with te request to deliver it on friday.   My Go-to for architectural photography stuff This Manfrotto 405 is my second of these heads. The first was destroyed by FedEx (they didn't really pack my tripod well, in a well-padded case). This has become my go-to tripod head for architecture and interiors. You can quickly rough it into position, then adjust it minutely. And seriously, you could spend much more and not get much more than what this head delivers. Definitely a winner. Davies is extremely knowledgeable, polite, professional and brilliant at what he does.

  Great Store for Shotgun Microphones I work in a broadcasting and documentaries productions firm, therefore a good microphone is the tool of trade for our main work. Having ordered several items here, including Sennheiser and other expansive and high quality microphones, we found the NTG 5 a great compromise between price and quality. I recommend Madison Avenue Cameras for film makers who are willing to increase the quality of their audio gear and not willing to spend higher budgets.

  Wrong item In June 2021 I placed an order for a camera and lens. Although madisonavenuecameras.com advertise a New York address, items were supplied from (and returnable to) Manhattan. The items were supplied promptly. But there are two things to note here. Firstly, the items arrived unannounced in two separate packages on different days. Tracking numbers were not given, and there were no packing notes. Secondly, the packaging was tenuous– not a box containing the manufacturer’s box, but rather several layers of bubble-pack around the manufacturer’s box, sealed in a soft plastic cover. Unfortunately, the lens supplied was not the one that I had ordered. In view of the time required to supply the correct lens, I cancelled that part of the order. Some correspondence was required. I should record here that Madison' were always prompt in replying. And Madison were also prompt in arranging refunds. I am sure that it is very unusual for a reputable company to supply the wrong item. However, it should be noted that things can and sometimes do go wrong.

  A few week ago I ordered a Nikon D7500 form Madison Avenue cameras with a little bit of trepidation, I might add as it cost me $996 which is a lot of money. However they order was acknowledged immediately and I received it in North Carolina about ten days later. It works just great and I have not had any problems with it to date. I need to know why the guarantee was not enclosed with the camer and they responded the same day to tell me that their receipt/confirmation of order was the guarantee, and that this was for FIVE years. Not hesitation in giving Madison Avenue Cameras all praise for excellent service.

  I am very pleased with the ordered Canon EFS 55 250 millimeter lenses. The process of ordering and delivering products was safe, fast and professional. Lenses are quite compact, lightweight and have fast focusing. The image is without large distortions at the highest magnification and practically without chromatic aberrations.   Won't shop astronomy stuff anywhere else I've been using Madison Avenue Cameras since the end of last year when I started getting back into the hobby. They really are fantastic. I've had questions, they've answered them, and not in a way to get more money out of you by upselling etc, but genuine helpful advice. I've had post sale issues, they've solved them. I've needed to return items, they've had no quibble. Really can't praise them enough. The only reason I'd go elsewhere for gear is if they don't stock something and even then I'd ask Madison Avenue Cameras first.

  Got a new 21mm Super-Elmar, this is now my favorite lens. I use it a lot for landscape photography. It is really easy to focus for landscape photography given you are almost always at infinity. The lens it self if really sharp, compact and light. The only gripe is the lens cap is a little gimmicky and comes off easily. Other than that great lens and service from Madison Avenue Cameras.

  I have bought for them before and always had excellent service. This time I bought a Rodenstock 35mm f/4 HR Digaron-S lens, ordered on Sunday, it was dispatched on Monday and I had it fitted on my camera on Thursday morning, great service and tracking of my parcel. I had previously bought the Nikon D3500 W/ AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR, if I wasn’t happy then I wouldn’t keep going back for more. 5 star ⭐️

  Davies was so amazing today. i went in to learn how to use my Sony ECM-VG1 Short Shotgun Mic and he was so patient and took his time in explaining it to me. he also gave me advice on audio, and lenses. as a new filmmaker, i felt so confident after i left. Thank you so much Davies !! i will suggest you ask of him as he is really good and knowledgeable. i recommend going to this store!

  IMO of the SONY A9II hits the sweet spot for sports and birds, especially smaller birds or birds in flight. Professional and knowledgeable staff and very helpful, this was my first visit will definitely use them again when necessary. My next order will be a A7RIV for landscape photography.

  The price is transparent, but the quality of the service is very wanting. I'd a camera to be purchased and already done a little homework on the Internet, and I needed to get more information and professional recommendations when I visited the store. The clerk for some inexplicable reason her mind went completely blank" . Some specifications and functions are still wrong. The other question I asked was not answered. I asked the clerk to ask a colleague who knows about the camera to help me introduce it, but she didn't move at all. The other shop assistants also stood by and didn't mean to help or take over. My old camera was broken and I direly needed the new one. In the end, I still made a purchase, but the experience of shopping in your company this time was really bad. I wanted to say that high evaluation should be equivalent to high-quality service. The result is very disappointing. I hope this feedback will make your company pay attention to this issue. Thank you.
