  First of all these items do not ship from UK. I've ordered Sony 50 mm F1.2 well before 14.00 (around midday) expecting it to arrive the next day. Only to find out in the evening that the lens is coming from Manhattan in New York and it won't arrive till the day after tomorrow.... Nothing wrong with the lens and it's in perfect condition but I do not appreciate being lied to.

  Great photography shop Love this shop! Bought mirrorless and bridge cameras from them online many times, and also went to visit them in their Madison Ave Cameras store. They sell top of the line equipment, their team is really friendly, professional, and always happy to help or simply to chat about diving :)

  Took equipment to sell, was told it would take a day or two, one week and a half later they had still not given me a price. I went into the shop and picked up my equipment. The price quoted was a disgrace. Stay away from this shop.

  I brought my Hasselblad down to the store for servicing on Monday. It was all fixed up on Wednesday, and I received it in the mail this morning (Friday). The staff was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Madison was recommended to me by another Hasselblad user, and I would definitely recommend them to others as well.

  Spot on Madison Audio Recommendation I had Azden SMX-30, stereo mic this mic on order when I decided to check with a Madison audio expert for advice. Sounds great and can double as a stand-alone USB mic to plug into the computer. The price is right considering you basically get two microphones in one. The Azden has surpassed my expectations. It's fantastic!

  Great service! And fantastic camera! Another great experience with Madison Avenue Cameras. I traded in the crop sensor camera I purchased from them on another secondhand full frame camera. I settled on the D850 on their site after speaking to an advisor. There was an issue with FedEx, which was beyond their control, but everyone I spoke with or dealt with were professional and friendly. The camera itself was fantastic, it looked like it had just been taken out the box. After sourcing a data cable for it I was able to use the camera today for the first time, and the results are amazing! The whole experience of dealing with Madison Avenue Cameras is a pleasure and you get very good advice, they are without doubt my go to shop now!

  The best customer service!! The products are great, staff are really helpful. My only complaint is having to pay postage to return items, but as a small company I realize that this could be a high cost if they covered it. I really recommend the company though and the excellent customer service!

  New to Underwater photography had all the help I could need from Madison Over the last few months I’ve been busy getting into underwater photography and when I’ve been unsure of what I need I’ve rung the camera store and got the kind of advice I would expect to have to pay for. In fact it’s better than that, I’ve then been sold exactly what I need with delivery extremely quick sometimes direct from their supplier because they’ve not had stock.   Very competitive prices and great service. Madison Avenue Cameras are excellent, I’ve been buying from them for many years, and they have never let me down. They have sold me a couple of faulty second hand lenses, but these have been replaced or refunded without any unpleasantness. They are rarely beaten on second hand prices too. Much cheaper and more reliable than buying from EBay.

  Another Happy Customer! I asked for recommendations for an airline-friendly bag that could accommodate a gripped SLR (with L-plate) fitted with an 80-400 lens and carry a spare camera body and 2 professional lenses. With space for other 'stuff', was recommended a bag (Tenba Solstice) and after checking it out at the shop (great salesman too) decided it fitted my needs. After my recent trip to Kenya I can confirm that Madison Avenue Cameras met my needs. Also, gave some guidance for a slightly smaller bag for my partner, who was completely satisfied with her purchase. Definitely on my A-list of photographic retailers.

I must say as I hadn't heard of the site and it was the only one to have this item in stock I was a little skeptical. I needn't have been as the battery arrived very promptly and no postage cost!   Finally got my order I eventually had a phone call from Madison Avenue Cameras'. They apologized for the many delays in delivering the final part of my order. The item was dispatched the next day and I received it the day after. Although I now have instructions as to how the kit goes together (I'd ordered a wireless camera kit and DVR) They did not arrive with the order, I had to email to get them sent. I have upgraded my star rating as I now have what I ordered, but it has been a very frustrating 3 months getting it.

  Great service, I bought a Nikon D5600 and it arrived to me in Ireland two days later and it would have been quicker had i not used my office address in Michigan. Made a decent saving in comparison to other sites like Amazon and BH PHOTO called me up and very promptly sorted out a bit of confusion with the billing address.   Purchase used 7D mark II Used Madison to buy a pre-owned 7D mark II to take on trip to Denmark. Camera was in excellent condition and as described on the website. Order placed after 3pm on Tuesday and still arrived next day (DHL). Very happy with service and updates on the status of the order. Would use again, no hesitation.

  Be aware about return policy Be aware, if you buy something and would like to return it, you will have to go to the local post office and PAY money for RETURN, I just had my camera lens from them for $500 it was not sharp enough and had huge back focus and when I decided to return it, I paid $8.99 for return, this is company policy.

  Feel let down by poor customer service Firstly this is not an attack on Madison Avenue Cameras but I do feel strongly that I need to voice my views on poor service.The following is accurate and not exaggerated! I purchased a camera to the value of $5100 last year and the transaction and product was fine. However earlier this month a made two request to part exchange the camera as it was unsuitable. I left it two days and had no reply so I emailed again and had a call from a lady saying she apologized and someone would ring me in the morning, but I got no response. Since then I have sold the camera to another retailer. Yesterday I purchased another camera from Madison Avenue Cameras this time for $4750. The used camera was described as, and I quote "as new condition and Mint. The camera arrived today but had two chips out of it and no cable for the charger. Given the cost and description of the camera I didn't expect this. I emailed the shop owner as I was so annoyed at my experience. I had a quick reply saying a lady would be in contact this afternoon, and you've guessed it. No one has emailed or called me. Despite spending over $10,000 with this company in the past 3 months, they obviously don't value their customers.

  Best thing I've bought. The Celestron 90° Dielectric diagonal is a very good quality product from MADISON AVENUE CAMERAS in Manhattan. I bought this to see if I could improve the view on my Celestron 102mm refractor. Madison Avenue Cameras order processing and shipping was fantastic too. Boasting rich clear images and incredible detail you'll wonder how you ever did without it! A great addition to my astronomy rig. The build is very impressive and of premium quality. It is simple to use, works well and bang for the money.

  Hard to find item was in stock, price of item was good, delivery cost to my location (Delaware) was preposterous so I had to get it delivered to a friend who then posted it on to me at considerable saving. Pity, as it will discourage me from using you again. FedEx delivers here at same cost as everywhere ele in USA so there's no reason for the surcharge.

  Ruggedness and waterproof body design is of significant concern to me. I am an outdoor photographer. This store has a vast selection of rain guard accessories, covers, waterproof eyepieces, waterproof lens covers, eyepiece shields, waterproof bags, and products that work with tripods keep you snapping. I buy my cameras here and they endure more abuse than those of a wedding photographer. My 7D2 certainly feels durable and I have used it is. I have never had a problem with this camera or the 5D3, with a 300mm f 4.0 lens I am sure that Canon will not use my experience as an example of what their camera will do, nor would I recommend this sort of a test.

  TV Not Worth the Price Tag! I bought a tv about a month ago now, and in store it seemed like a great tv. And don't get me wrong its not an awful TV but the sound system thats Within the Tv was supposed to be spectacular and honestly its subpar at best. I truly regret spending as much as I did on this Tv when I could have gotten something cheaper that would produce the same quality.

  The intention this EM-1 was reduced pickup of focusing noise during video recording. But I'm disappointed, the pickup of focusing noise was as high or higher than the integral microphone. As such, I returned the ME-1. I am expecting to receive a pre-amp that will allow me to use a shotgun mic. I anticipate that it will achieve the goal.

  This lens is so much fun! I love the 150-600 Tamron as I do professional sports action photography and shoot thousands of photos. The newer Tamron has improved features as well as being a bit lighter than the older model! Ordering through MAC is convenient as well as informative. If you want professional quality and the ability to be close to a subject, this is a must have lens!

  I've been to Madison Avenue Cameras a few times for camcorder purchasing/advice, and the team have been brilliant.   The staff was incredibly helpful in acquiring what I was looking for. I checked three camera shops in the area for a suction cup and no one had it, however the staff here was the most helpful, so I ordered it from them. They had it at an alternate location and it was ready for pickup in two days.
